What do you want to see in a new Animal Crossing game, /v/?
What would you add or change to give the game some longevity?
What would you like that would keep you playing?
How would you change the villagers?
How would you change the town?
Share your thoughts!
And whos your favorite villager?
I want a much larger village with nice cliffs and crazy, cool ramps with 15 villagers, like the first game. I also think it would be really cool if you could swim in the river to collect fossils, or some type of cave area where you could mine ore and collect creepy blind cave bugs/fish.
What are your thoughts on crafting?
Like say, take raw materials to Cyrus to craft new furniture.
Or have cooking in the game with a new shop to buy food and using it to make your villagers favorite dishes?
You could even add gardening to the mix. Would go well with cooking.
everyone just fucks with their console/handheld's time so they can play it like harvest moon anyway
except you, i guess; you're the dude who actually waits a couple weeks to do something in-game
My favourite villager is molly the duck since she's cute as fuck
Bigger villages with more villagers, more control over the layout of villages, give some of the villagers families or roommates who live in the same house together, better interaction with villagers (going on adventures together kind of thing) and more minigames.
I WANT TO FUCK ALL THE VILLAGERS
Fuck that, let me just model my own furniture and hats and stuff.
It'll let us have more unique clothing too, like tops featuring scarves for example, or really just clothes where the details are more than a 32x32 texture period.
You got me man. I'm literally the only guy who doesn't cheat at video games.
I want more furniture to be interactable.
Chairs, TVs, Radios, and instruments are great. But why can't I play with the billiard table? Or the table top game? Or the arcade machine? If someting looks like you should be able to interact with it, then you should be able to.
Forgot my picture
She's like the little sister I never had
Beach cave where you can find crystals and fossils
Ice skating on ponds in winter
More plant types, ferns, grass, bigger bushes a la GC animal crossing
Small islands by your town you can swim to with a wetsuit where you can plant trees, bury stuff
Bigger maps, with cliffs again
Being able to rotate the camera to a certain extent while sitting on a bench
Artist is aintsmart.
And please save all lewdness for when the thread dies a couple of hours from now.
I would love to be able to play games with villagers that you bring over. Shit would be so fun.
Shes adorable, anon.
a habbohotel type hotel you can visit away from town that is an MMO between everyone online
>no one from your town accompanies you or makes appearances because they're "scared of the big city"
Fertilizer to grow different sized trees, better villager interaction, more random events so youre not always bored, tons of more work projects with better placement options, rework of the pattern system, more bugs and fish, more incentive to do mini games in multiplayer, or just more stuff to do in multiplayer in general
Perhaps an area that requires internet where you can go and interact with many people at once, exchange patterns, trade things ETC
Layered clothing would be nice. New Leaf was a big step forward with clothes, but they could go even further.
Under-clothing, shirts, pants, jackets, gloves. Wearing an open jacket over a shirt and both are visible. Things like that.
I'm not a big proponent of crafting becoming a part of AC, but I really think cooking should be a thing.
I mean, the villagers talk about food pretty often and there's so much cookware you can buy for your house that it seems kinda silly that it isn't already in the game.
I hope the new AC looks as good as the MK8 track
>How would you change the villagers?
>How would you change the town?
>people voting room mates and best friends but not deeper relations
>sex higher than marriage
Deeper interactions, not dating.
I kinda want dating just for the shitstorm that would occur, but it would invariably turn me off from the game. I've realized some time ago waifu mechanics ruin games for me.
I hate having a kitchen I can't use
This too. No reason it shouldn't.
>What do you want to see in a new Animal Crossing game, /v/?
Interchangeable view points (Third-person, general top down, etc.), a weather machine, more ways to interact with villagers and the world around you, being able to actually order saplings and plants.
>What would you add or change to give the game some longevity?
More things to do and more places to go to, New Leaf felt very lacking in the areas you could go to, I'd love to go to the mountains or the countryside, or even a bustling city with various villagers and perhaps even other player characters. (Obviously a Miiverse kind of thing.)
>What would you like that would keep you playing?
A more in-depth town system like in New Leaf and the ability to take different trips to various places depending on the month or season. Have random festivals and make holidays seem more celebrated.
>How would you change the villagers?
Make them more interactable and talkative, have a kind of S. Link thing with them to tell you if they like you or not and what they think of you, maybe they could even become your roommate if you max out their friendship.
>How would you change the town?
Make it bigger and perhaps up the villager count, able to schedule events and field trips and invite your favorite villagers to do various activities together to form closer bonds.
>And who's your favorite villager?
My favorite female villagers are Purrl, Bunnie, and Chevre, and my favorite male villagers are Punchy, Marshal, and Snake.
I want to hold her hand
>Animal Crossing threads always filled with fantastic ideas to improve the game
>In reality, the chances are slim at best that any of them will ever be implemented
All we can do is post what we want to see and hope for the best, anon.
I'll keep making these threads as long as there is even a slight chance.
I was actually gonna suggest 'themed' villages. Like when you first arrive in town Rover asks you what kinda town you're going to and lets you choose stuff like mountains, arid, tropical, stuff like that.
>Aintsmart has stopped drawing porn and is just doing these portrait things.
I've seen that idea a couple of times and I love it.
I'm just afraid that the novelty might wear off.
But that wouldn't be a problem if villages were more well made.
This pics are years old. I don't know what he's doing now.
i'd rather I just have a new AC setting where I could go on bonding adventures with my
He's been drawing but he's only drawing
straight shit. He hasn't drawn bob in fucking forever, he hasn't drawn a single cat in forever, and he rarely draws futa/futa or futa/male. If anything, he used to be an amazing gay artist but now he does nothing but chicks and disgusting vaginas.
>Liking meat slaps of nastiness.
>Liking what is basically the stomach of a woman.
Of course, we've been having way too many of them, and that's pretty much a recipe for shit threads.
Especially when it's the exact same OP with the exact same images and ideas.
It's not my fault you faggots are into what's basically just a way of convincing you that women are worth it.
Women are shit-tier, and you guys are fucking virgins. If you actually like vagina then you're in denial or a virgin. They're just plain disgusting holes, they're way more gross than a mouth or an anus.
I want to
fire Isabelle and run her out of town and hire Whitney in her place
I think it would be cool if you could open your own shop in town, maybe you could even work in it.
I dunno how it would work but it sounds cool in my head.
>88 votes for sex
B-but /v/! They're animals! You wouldn't fuck an animal, r-right?
>More mini games
>Stuff to explore, like caves and forest
>More flowers to plant or even add mild farming elements
>Own and raise a pet
>More face and hair options
>Body options, not talking tits and ass, but height and weight
>Improved villager interactions and dialogue
>Some sort of a hub where you can chill with a few other random players and trade items n shit
>More in depth mayor mechanics, talking like city management shit
>More exterior customization options both house and town items
>More varied terrain in town
>More varied house options, not furniture, I'm talking interior walls
>Option to write own songs to play in house, kind of like town tunes
>Balance the game more, the Island broke the game
>Not Rolling Pin world
>Bring back Treasure hunts from Gamecube
They should add actual readable text to the TV shows as well as the ability to change channels, similar to Harvest Moon.
Speaking of TV channels, they should have an armadillo or something that works as a weather forecaster but he's stupid as hell, so he'll ask you what you think the weather will be like the next day, and that way you can decide whether it'll be rainy/sunny/cloudy/etc
>get a letter from Cyrano
>"You are my best friend."
>haven't played in about a year or two
>mfw I let my best friend down
it could be a monster or something
Would definitely be okay with a pet like Kino from Maplestory
>Implying she won't be fucking me instead.
I've always hoped they'd allow the option to sync up your game to local weather. I know some of you canuckleheads would be stuck in infinite winter, but the option to turn it off or on would obviously be available
>Bonbon in my campsite
>I have 9 villagers
>Talk to her over and over to get her to move in
So I wandered around town for a bit and realized that a plot of land JUST got plopped down for some faggot penguin from some other town. Probably from a streetpass.
what if they need some stress relief?
That can be one of the perks. Plus helping them design their room, and adding more interactive furniture that you can use to play games with them .
>tfw playing MK8 and gettign sad because they havent announced anything about AC for wii u
i wish they could change the camera angle for a normal one with the same atention to detail for the town as the MK track
Full 3d camera and a dynamic town layout should really happen. One of the most common requests.
We should double team her
You're not invited because you failed to get her.
>All these cats and bunnies
>No love for bird villagers
They're cute and friendly
Chances are slim to none that he'll move in.
More online features and dedicated profession you'll be able provide your skills across towns. I want the interactions with other players to be just as robust as the villagers.
I would also like some exploration not just digging on the beach and finding all types of random fossils it would be cool to explore caverns and shit.
I don't expect this at all but I can dream.
>tfw trying to get rid of this shit for weeks in New Leaf
I'm looking up tutu
goddamn that is not an appropriate outfit
I kind of want Rover in sm4sh as a Villager clone/semi-clone since Tom Nook and Isabelle are already non-playable.
>check archive because
>some perfectly fine images pruned
>Improve Mayor stuff.
>Improve relations with chars.
>Add new stuff.
>Please keep cross dressing.
>No matter what features Animal Crossing WiiU has, it will not look as good as the MK8 level
Well, well. Look what we have here. Nintendo fucking knows.
I love Tammy!
>I like being able to crossdress
>relationships would be cool
>a little more interactivity with villagers beyond HEY YOURE MY FRIEND and generic present giving.
I liked the Acre/plot design in the GCN one honestly so i'd probably bring that back?
>>291943039 god damnit I want that dress
Fuck the top down shit, give me third person view AC or first person (or switch as we please) can even have the over the top camera as a third choice to please everyone.
Just give me a damn full 3D AC game already, Nintendo. You have the models for the buildings right there
People have been against a first person view for a long time but honestly, seeing villagers face to face, looking around your room at all sides, seeing shops and trees looming above you, I think it would all go a long way to making the town feel like you're really a part of it.
I think they randomly assign a number of animal to the track each race. I'm curious if all the animals show up...
>sable watching me race and cheering
>also weaver, who is your least favorite villager out of curiosity?
There's too many to consider, but of those I've lived with, Biff will always hold a special place in my dark heart of hate
Sadly, I haven't seen Margie anywhere...
I don't think I've ever had biff, but the only villager I ever have actively hated was that rainbow colored clown ram thing. I don't even remember his name or why I hated him but for some reason he just annoyed the shit out of me.
Wait till you accidentally run into Resetti...
the AC track only has 20 villagers that get moved around each time. heres a list:
They must be making a new AC game for the Wii U, and since I'm an optimist, I'll be hoping they've got an announcement lined up for this E3.
My wishlist of improvements
>The writing needs to be better and/or more abundant
>The curved world shit needs to go
>Orchestrated music is nice, but I'd like to see more music like that of the original Animal Crossing
HOW MANY TIMES WE GOTTA GO OVER THIS KID?!?!?!!!
The female villager is too cute in MK8.
You had all those models from that WiiU shit and you only chose 20. What the fuck Nintendo?
I want bigger villagers with new objectives alongside all the old objectives/collectibles.
Along with a bigger village, maybe a faster way to travel could come in handy. A skateboard, bike, or that scooter from MK8.
I liked being a Mayor, expand the things a Mayor can do.
Get all the City shit integrated into your town again. It's annoying as fuck to go to the town every time I need to turn in a fossil.
Choose what kind of house expansion you want, maybe even a building tool (similar to MySims).
If the NES games aren't making a return, WarioWare-like feaux-retro games would be fun as a side-distraction.
If it's on console, put an effort in the visuals. The one on Wii looked like an upscaled DS game.
In all seriousness, a best friend mechanic, villager houses that are less easy to shit up by accident, a way for you to live with your favorite villager, and more unique personalities for villagers in general.
I want more control over where villagers homes and public works projects go.
I'm also going to be mad as hell if they decide to go full jew and make the new game amiibo heavy. I fucking hate amiibos.
Looking at all the attention Isabelle is getting, I'm really worried she'll come back in the next game.
I wouldn't mind costumes again. Scan Mario, you get the full Mario costume set. Scan MegaMan, you get the full Mega Man costume.
They could keep the regular Mario Hat items and such, just find a way to make these Amiibo Costumes a bit more special.
Nintendo did it!
I was thinking of an idea for a restaurant, and encourage eating once a day. Like if you haven't eaten that day your character will pause and their stomach will growl, sort of like tripping.
Then the food could have a system like Monster Hunter's eating, where you choose certain ingredients and they'd have certain perks like increased item or money luck, or making fishing easier for that day or something.
The restaurant would work like Tom Nook's shop and start out small and the more you eat at it the bigger it would get, the cook could even ask you to occasionally get him ingredients for a special meals or upgrading your menu.
It's just a rough idea, but more stuff like that would be really great.
Personally, I'd like some sort of convenience or grocery store to be added in.
Make it pretty huge on the inside, merge in a restaurant and the roost and make it so you're able to get ingredients to make your own shit or just rush in and get some stuff from a restaurant at the entrance.
