Walker Gears. Also more maps and game modes are needed but other than that it's pretty good right now. Smoothest online launch I've played in awhile, and I always get a match no problem. MGO2 didn't start off amazing and it got much better, so I expect the same with MGO3.

Walker gears are nothing compared to CQC hitboxes on any server with a less-than-flawless connection. Ghost grabs are the most OP thing in the game.

Yeah, from the host's side. The host can summon an infinite amount of helpers to gank as long as there are signs down, and there's literally hundreds of healing options as a host. DKS2 PvP relies entirely on both participants in PvP to be honorable if you want a good match.
When that DOES happen and you get a good connection, it's the most fun PvP in the series, bar none.
Its fun but needs tweaks like fixing the laggy CQC. If Im shooting someone from close range he can still have time to run up and CQC in laggy conditions. There needs to be bullet hit stun or pushback at close range.
Dont like the simple interrogate choke hold they changed from the single player. Now you can make them talk but you cant strangle them asleep again, only kill, so you must slam them down if you want to fulton.
Needs host migration.
Needs one or two more maps.
Needs vote kicking as the host can get butthurt and kick you for no reason.
The party system and matchmaking could use work. I assume that it will be fixed up in a month or show. This game is a fucking blast with a team of buddies. It reminds me of the bananas Lost Planet multiplayer.

Also grabbing is weird, I try to interrogate and choke, but I end up pushing them away afterwards. Do I wait for the prompts to show up or do I just mash R1 after I Interrogate?

MGO3 needs to remove health regen, and add a medic class. Also needs to make the invisibility camo not work at all when you're running, and make your aim sway a lot more after running.
It needs a free-roam mode in the SP maps where it's essentially Free-for-all, and you can buddy up with multiple players and become a group. Bots in certain checkpoints and in a base of operation, but you and others can clear them out and take the base as your own. You gain money from it, and are given in-lobby missions to complete for more income.
For example, if you and some others have taken a base, a quest could appear to steal an item and take it back to your base. Other players can steal your base by killing the majority within it and then going to a capture point and holding it. One base of operations like that per lobby.
Its the best since its the most stealth focused mode. Bounty hunter is full of idiots shooting stunned or fultoned enemies, and comms isnt too bad since I focus more on defending and hiding in the general area.

You press triangle after you interrogate. Either that or press R1 + any direction once. It takes too long to stun someone and you leave yourself open to attacks by choking people out.

The interrogate and choke is based on time limit. If you don't have the better tiered skills than the dude you're trying to choke, he can break free after the first command and you either have to shoot them down or try to cqc again.

Scout is fucking useless, the sniper rifles don't kill in one or even two hits making them redundant. Enforcer is slightly less useless but they're slow as shit and even though they have heavy weapons they take too long to aim and are too inaccurate to be of any use. Infiltrator is fast, has decent health, acess to assult rifles, shotguns and submachine guns. PLUS INVISIBILITY.
Comm Control is a clusterfuck, both teams just take turns gangbanging the other one who's trapped in a small enclosed space with multiple approach points. Cloak and Dagger is great, Bounty Hunter is too but I'd like to see a non lethal Bounty Hunter variant.

this shit netcode was around in mid to late 90s with Jedi Knight and X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter when you would just die by everything ghosting over 56k dial up.
the sight for the tranquilizer. GZ had a ghost ring, or whatever, which gives a more accurate guide to where the bullet is going to go, but its meant for close quarters.
The second is the one in TPP, and its a general iron sight that is meant for longer ranges so the iron sight actually is sighted for about 50m. Well most people tend to use it at less than that, so the round goes over, especially when going for headshots.

I only play cloak and dagger every other mode is completely unplayable right now.
From personal experience: binos are fast r3 is average and unreliable without Intel bonuses, and scope is painfully slow, but there is a lvl 3 ability that makes scope marking more viable
I made the mistake of choosing Scout and I can confirm that - at least up to level 11 where I stopped for the night - there's nothing worthwhile you unlock aside from two or three perks and a red dot scope. You get some snipers, but they increase your equip load aand there's no one actually sniping since everyone runs around like dumbass children.
I've used literally nothing but the starting assault rifle because there hasn't been anything else worth using as a scout.

Probably but I'm thinking they'll be later content updates like the swimsuit. MGO2 did the same thing, teasing the map E.E. before the game's release and then releasing it in an expansion pack.
I'm somewhat iffy on CQC.
Walkers can seriously fuck people up regardless of what they do because of the maneuverability and power of it.. CQC has a lot of power behind it but I'm thinking how damning it can be will make people play more carefully. If not, however, they should weaken CQC so it's not an instant knock out until you're in much later levels.
I miss the skill system from MGO2.
MGO 3 is a massive downgrade from MGO 2. The amount of freedom of how you wanted to play was amazing.
Infiltrators are too OP, why the fuck are they allowed to use lethal guns and still remain invisible? Walker gears are annoying as fuck, in cloak and dagger the defending team shouldn't be allowed the stealth camo, its just them camping the objective with stealth on.
Please for the love of fuck tell me they get something other than sniper rifles, I love the e.detector but I would really like to have some weapon variety like the other classes.

I want to like this more but I feel like I'm pulling teeth. All that seems to happen is some faggot runs up to me and decks me, I spend 8 seconds trying to wake up, and then I'm fulton'd away. The only time I have fun is by protecting whoever has the biggest bounty on my team by cloaking with a shotgun, and even then point-blank shots seemingly do nothing half the time.
When it first came out I never felt a 12 year old could come on and dominate a game. There is no challange to MGO 3.T The camoflage is soo useless. You can see them as clear as when they dont have it on.
the thing is you take too much time recovering the disc and let the defenders set up around the objective
just leg it, grab the cd and bolt it to the objective in such a way, that you always have cover from enemy bullets

I've gotten two handguns and two or three snipers plus a few perks after leveling my scout to 11. That's all. There's nothing compelling me to see if there's anything else worth leveling for, since Bounty Hunter is a shitshow right now.
I was doing pretty well in a BH game sitting on a rooftop and sniping people with my tranq rifle. Granted, my dumbass team couldn't bother to fulton/murder them, but I came out number 1 or 2 on my team from all those knockouts I got. Good times.

The cherry on top is that the game is p2p (peer to peer) which means Konami isn't running any servers that your subscription fee is supposed to be paying for.

MGO2 had a shit launch due to server issues and the dumb Konami ID. The gameplay itself was fine. CQC in this is equivalent to CQCEX which is a one hit ko, but CQCEX used all your skill slots, so it balanced out. They nerfed CQCEX anyway.
The biggest problem that plagued MGO2 ended up being the lag switchers. This has a lot of stupid bullshit, especially the unlocks.
if you're talking about custom mgo character on tpp, you can't use them. only character you share on tpp and mgo is Medic, this is just a DD staff i picked because she had blonde hair and had the cutest face from all the default female feces
I dont understand the complaints against Walker Gears. They operate exactly how tanks would in any game. Dont fight it head on, this is also offset by the fact that the fucking things die to literally 1 mag from the stock AR, stop fucking trying to take them head on, if you get caught in the open thats not the walker gear being OP, thats your dumb ass getting caught in the open. Make it deal less damage or have a spin up minigun, any change to its defenses would render it useless. Its essentially a tank, its not meant to be as easy to take out as infantry and should be a boon to use, not a negative.
The real problem is shotguns, for a class that can turn invisible, thats fucking retarded, infiltrator should have SMGs and pistols only, but thats not going to happen now. Also the enjoyment is going to tank when people start actively using the semi auto sleep grenade launchers.

I feel that's not enough.
Whenever you're on the move, camo should drain 50% faster, make the camo regen slower, taking damage drops the camo immediately.
Oh, and whenever you shoot and have camo on, it'll be drained.
-stealth camo needs to drop more often: shoot lethal or loud weapon, get shot, and when running.
-x2 or x2.5 health (headshots still kill). Maybe an extra health boost for enforcers (x3?). No "health" increase for walkers though.
-CQC slam isn't instant knockout (or isn't for only some classes?). It requires two slams or similar.
Make the instant knockout a 2 slot perk and the problem is solved, would also make for more interesting engagements when you arent using it and get into a scuff with someone.

The game isnt really anything to sing and dance about, youll play it for like a month or two and move on, and given the amount of hackers in FOB that still hasnt been fixed in the PC version I wouldnt really hold my breath for the "definitive version" of the game.
Bounty hunt is fun if you have a good team on both sides, otherwise it actually becomes frustrating because the shitters practically guarantee the enemy victory. The Comms mode is the same, C and D is good because even if your team is shit you have the opportunity to carry the team.

Everything I can remember from MGO2 was a lot of running in tight circles and trying to pick each other off with headshots, along with TONS of quick swapping boxes.
Also CQC that wasn't 100% depthless.
Guns also didn't have this fucking abysmal sway horseshit, they somehow managed to make first person something I use even less, unless it's an AR.

Might be a skill, theres a perk for the shields so I imagine there is a lvl 2 version of the perk which gives this ability.
