how is this man still getting funded.
i do not comprehend.
Apparently there's a specific higher up Square-Enix rep whose a big fan of his work and make sure he's taken care of.
Drakengard 1, from there all games in release order.
>Yoko: Depending on damage received, her skirt will slowly be removed.
>looked at the plot of drakengard
>lmao the church is evil
>an ancient evil awakens
Japs are fucking idiots.
Nobody plays it for reasons other than twin incest, big tits onee-sama and dominatrix Zero.
Gods telling a cult to awaken some retarded seeds that recreate the world or whatever.
Absolute bullshit with giant 2deep4u giant babies and "what if the hero is evil because you know in video games you murder a lot of people?!!?!?!?" plot device.
I laughed for a good 5 mins watching all that.
Whatever, I just want to fug 5.
>just started Drakengard 3
the PCfag in me wants to kill himself, jesus fuck what the FUCK is happening with this game it looks like shit and runs several times worse...
I even turned on black frame insertion just to deal with it....
Just Youtube Drakengard 3 as well. It runs and looks like ass and is overall just a technical mess. You'll want to youtube the DLC stories too unless you want to shell out $30 for them.
Actually play Nier though.
It doesn't run much better on the ps3, I got slowdowns out the ass and something shit didn't want to show up but still pretty playable.
No, you can play drakengard 3, it tries not to piss you off 30% of the time. Or hell, watch a LP of it too, for fucks sake I still haven't beat the last boss.
Better than what?
I tried playing DoD1 on Ps2 and easily put in like 5 hours
This is just insanely shit though and only in the technical sense.
Can you even it slowdowns when it happens every 15 seconds?
Hahah no. Drakengard 1 is a bad game but it doesn't get difficult until near the very end and isn't even that long. It's a very satisfying game to get the endings for and LPs just take that away.
2 is shit but for completely different reasons, it's optional but I'd recommend people play it anyway since it has its moments.
Drakengard 1 is a steaming pile of dogshit, that would be like telling someone to play persona 1 which doesn't even have the benefit of having fun story, that game only has one decent character and he is a complete asshole.
Are you trying to deny Drakengard 3 runs and looks like complete ass?
It's not a fun game to play at all. I like it but it's a technical mess. The controls are ass, combat is floaty as hell and none of the weapons feel satisfying, FPS drops literally everywhere even when nothing is happening, which is a damn shame considering the game isn't very good visually either.
Nier and the previous Drakengards may have gotten repetitive after a while but at least what was there was decent. 3 is just a headache.
This isn't about difficulty, this is about playing like ass and D1 plays like some hot ass in summer time.
The combat is fine and sword and claws are satisfying weapons to use.
Nah Taro works in different ways, he likes to gives us things that we get attached to and then take them and put them in the meatgrinder...
If he made DoD2 I'd understand doing this but nope.
I want to play it even though the gameplay seems absolute ass, but fuck me this is horrid, I'll be alternating between TW3 in 1440p for which I'm about to buy a new GPU for for solid 60fps, and...this....
The gameplay gets better once you get more weapon types, the weapon switching mechanic is pretty cool and allows for some fun combos.
The gameplay still isn't actually good though mostly because the game recycles the same 6 enemies over and over for 30 hours.
They're not, and I fucking love fist weapons. Their attack range is incredibly narrow already making the shitty hit detection even worse and nothing feels like it has impact behind it. Watching things chug along because of the terrible FPS doesn't help either. This is true for combat in general.
And that's not even getting started on the awful Mikhail segments.
Defend whatever else you like about D3 but I genuinely can't comprehend how anyone can find the combat in it acceptable or even fun unless you've just never played video games before and have nothing to compare it to.
>Nah Taro works in different ways, he likes to gives us things that we get attached to and then take them and put them in the meatgrinder...
holy fuck I mean the story is above average but it doesn't deserve quotes like the above, especially Nier. D1 is kind of out there I guess
some of you people make it sound like he's the second coming of jesus or something
The only thing bad about the combat is the fucking chakrams and spears being ass to use and fucking the same enemies for hours on end and even that gets a bit more entertaining as the story goes on. I love when the generic soldiers chant in union how much they want to fuck their intoner or fuck Zero.
Fuck you. It's literally giant fucking babies.
Do you think Caim gives a fuck? In the last path he literally killed the only thing he ever could consider a friend and was pretty happy about the world fucking ending in dragon fire.
Because the weapon switching is fun and well implemented. Stuff like doing a fist jump kick then switching midair to a spear jump attack, then switching to sword and doing a combo, etc. It's really smooth and looks flashy. The combat isn't super deep but it's fun.
I'm not even the PC guy. My PC is a toaster.
The game runs like shit and if you're sitting there with a straight face trying to say it doesn't you're in some serious denial.
Nier didn't look or play this badly so I don't know why people think it's acceptable here.
>It's really smooth and looks flashy
I've seen smoother and flashier animations from a powerpoint. If the game could actually hold a decent framerate through any kind of action then maybe you'd have a point.
>you will never not give a shit about anything except your imouto, your dragon and all the murder
>you will never go on murder sprees with your band of mentally deranged associates
>my feet hurt
>i don't even know these people
>this elf keeps drooling on me
>i wish i was at home sodomizing boys
Use git versions of PCSX2, you shouldn't have any problems except for occasional slowdowns. There was one problem bothered me while emulating. It might crash every once in a while transitioning to cutscenes so you might have to switch to software rendering in cutscenes, there should be a shortcut for that look it up and save often.
I was gonna ask why you didn't call them his friends, but I figure you got it right by calling them associates. I never got the impression that Caim was anywhere near close to these people, and vice-versa.
>tfw I actually like d3
>but the game ran so bad I couldn't stomach it anymore
>have all DLC and jap voices too and the game takes like 30 gigs on my ps3
>will prob never complete it
I hate this
What the fuck are you talking about the symbolism is crammed right into your eyeballs.
>"what if the hero is evil because you know in video games you murder a lot of people?!!?!?!?"
You're retarded, the hero is evil because he is a homicidal maniac and historians tried to make him seem like a paragon of virtue.
Hah, fucking tricked.
Yeah, fuck him.
This guy might be the biggest beta i've ever seem in gaming. Little to no people get their asses handed by a 6 year old.
>the most compassionate character in your universe is one who lusts for little boys buns
Drakengard 1 isn't so bad when you get past the first few hours, it's much more manageable once you have some spells to kill groups of enemies. Also when you get allies to summon, some upgrades for Angel (aerial sections are fine too), and when you get the Ironmec/Hymir's finger, you can go all Guts on the enemies.
Nier finally came in the post this morning and its a fun as fuck game, didnt expect the combat to be as fluid as it is. Does anyone have the sidequests picture someone here made a while ago with all the quests and which ones to do and which ones to avoid?
Seriously tho, just do all of them like I did, it's not that bad.
He has some dirt on the higher ups, obviously.
I'm sure trying to suppress Taro's infinite desire for absolute misery can only mean it'll erupt in all the other endings with full force
I mean they had to make it "the point of the game" to have a happy ending, thats how hard they are trying.
Just finished ending E of Drakengard one.
I'm pretty buttmad to say the least.
>uncompromised by corporate greed
THIS IS THE MEMEPOST OF THE WEEK RIGHT THERE
BY PEOPLE THAT WANT TO MAKE MONEY
HOLY SHIT MY SIDES
I CAN'T FUCKING BREATHE SOMEONE GIVE ME A HELIUM TANK
But did you rike it?
>tfw Caim literally ended up murdering an entire planet in the end
Fuck you all.
F-Fuck you all.
None of the Intoners are there, just their disciples for some reason.
He has a lust for revenge.
I's love to see Caim and kid Mantis team up now.
I really want to know what it was like for these guys to travel together. I mean, it must be awkward sitting around a campfire together with a guy polishing the blood of ten thousand unlucky bastards off his crocs. And then you have the background noise of a cannibal talking to herself, a priest kneeling towards fantasy Mecca or whatever the fuck for the twelfth time before sunset, and the creepy girl who makes weird noises at night after her brother has gone to sleep. And so on. I mean, the idea of these people being on the road together, that's just fucking strange and morbidly humorous to me.
I'm sure they were talking about highly provocative and breakthrough topics around the campfire.
Might as well just dump this, I guess.

It's like you never played old games, anon.
I emulated N64 and PSX games during the early days when their emulators were barely functional, and I still liked the solid games that I played there.
Not everything in vidya has to revolve around fps and resolution.
God's work, anon. I am also very much looking forward to the new weapon stories.
I can't wait for the reveal that s/he has no eyes or some weird shit under those goggles.
>Nero, the Rapiest Elf to ever Rape
It has more lighthearted moments and comedy.
It does get pretty dark, but overall it's not as dark as DOD1.
The sluttiest. This proves once again that Angelus is still best girl. Where the hell is Inuart anyway?
Tbh senpai, they went a little overboard in the manga for me. I like the game's more subtle approach.
But yeah, slutty girl who didn't ask for this and wanted to fuck her brother. I can't hate her. I can't even hate Leonard. Drakengard is so amoral, if that's the word.
Post the snow webm, I don't have it anymore.
She just really wants to get laid. Can you blame her? Every day she sees Caim on the castle walls with his sweaty abs glistening in the light of setting sun. She needs to scratch that itch, no matter what.
Why didn't she fuck Inuart then? Don't tell me he was too beta to give her the Inuart.
>Every day she sees Caim on the castle walls with his sweaty abs glistening in the light of setting sun.
I didn't know I wanted this.
Digital Devil Saga.
I've been thinking a lot about it, but I don't want to emulate, and I think I'll need that extra money at some point. I am on the verge of buying it, but every time I ask about the game, people only tell me that it's shit.
I enjoyed DoD3 a lot, I wouldn't call it shit.
Can I just skip Drakengard 1 and 2 and go to 3?
I tried getting into 1 but it's so terrible, after 4 hours I just can't play it anymore, even though I like the Dynasty Warriors series and Nier.
If you liked DOD3's story and really want to know more about the Intoners, then go for it. They do reuse a lot of stuff from the main game, though, and I don't remember them being too long.
Anyone else here suffering from some connection error when trying to post?
If you want to know the actual answer, the lead Platinum guy on this project was a huge Nier fanboy. He created a pitch for a spiritual successor and worked on a design document with other Platinum people that liked the game.
Then Square-enix approached platinum, totally unrelated, and asked if they wanted to do a project for them. It was an open deal and offered to let them use one of their properties. The Nier fanboy jumped and immediately said he wanted to do a Nier sequel. Taro and his producer, art people from Nier, Keiichi Okabe and the Tactics Ogre artist were all called in. They provided their talents, while platinum makes the game itself. Complete separation of the technical and artistic side, very interesting approach that I'd totally be down to see more of.
>It's going to be a happy ending game
>it's going to be super fun to play
>it'll sound amazing
>Android qts, 3 different kinds so anything from boyish looking to grills
Taro, you've crushed my heart and made me feel terrible mixtures of joy and sadness. I don't know what the fuck is going to happen now that an actually solid game with a positive spin will exist.
I also know you're a coy motherfucker, and the game probably drags you through hell before it gets anywhere near happy.
The only thing I'm slightly worried about is that it will be of an action game like DoD3, and less of an RPG like Nier. I love both, but if it's Nier 2 and not DoD4, I want muh exploration and towns.
I want my towns with NPCs and depressing sidequests, dammit.
Of course. Make sure you bring your weaponfu with you.
>I love both, but if it's Nier 2 and not DoD4, I want muh exploration and towns.
Fear not, explorable environments is confirmed. And there will be RPG elements. They also said even though it's platinum they want the gameplay to suit the RPG and Nier style. So I think it'll be rock solid to fight and move, while also retaining the exploration of Nier. I want to say there are towns but with the way the earth is, I have no idea whether it'll be desolate and lonely, your upgrades done at some sort of station, or if there'll be some type of people to interact with.
I feel that while Drakengard 1's gameplay is pretty tedious most of the time, it does have some cool moments, like when you use the dragon's magic attack during ground missions, and kill everyone under you.
And played all endings of Drakengard 2... twice.
And there are people that think replaying Nier 4 times is some sort of insane terrible experience. They genuinely think they understand what a bad game is.
Christ almighty anon, you are a true hero.
You should. One of the weapons has to be unlocked by running up to a bunch of pictures in a certain order. There is nothing to indicate there's anything special about the pictures, there's nothing to indicate if you're doing the sequence correctly, and there's nothing to indicate how close or long you should be near the pictures for.
THIS is the level of bullshit you have to deal with while getting Drakengard 1's weapons.
I would if they described themselves as 'masochistic'. But really, up until Automata, part of the Taro experience has been flawed gameplay. Purposefully so in the case of Drakengard 1 since everything about the game is trying to make you dislike it.
Basically... "If you want to get the proper Taro experience, play the games, don't just watch them."
Drakengard 2... is optional. Especially given that it's not actually part of the Taro experience, since pretty much his sole contribution was cutscene editing. Personally, I very much enjoyed it, but on the flip side it was one of my first PS2 games and my gateway into the Taroverse, so I have a certain fondness to it even though I'm aware that it doesn't really... "fit" with the others. It's way softer and more generically anime than the other games, but some people like that sort of stuff. I appreciated that its gameplay was a significantly improved version of Drakengard 1's, since I drink up that watered down musou like sodie pap.
I liked how you could aim the flames.
>During his youth, he experienced an incident that would influence his later work as a scenario writer: while in a shopping street with a group of friends, one of them who was walking along a high building roof slipped and died from the fall. The scene as Yoko remembered it was initially "horrifying", but in hindsight he saw humorous elements as well.
>since pretty much his sole contribution was cutscene editing
And here I was thinking about typing out how much I disliked 2, but thought maybe it was worth it for a quick go through for the cutscenes and the boss fight with the roses...
Yes you can technically. They're all fairly self contained and most people don't recommend 2 at all since Taro didn't direct it.
Personally I recommend slogging through D1 because it starts to really pick up around chapter 6-7 and then it ramps up again near the end. It'll also make you appreciate the mediocre gameplay of D3 and Nier a lot more.
>his sole contribution was cutscene editing
That's nice to hear. Even if you have a little rag-tag group, it's nice to hear them interact.
>Nier hushing Weiss during fishing
I love that stuff.
Play it with a guide, is what I'd say. I was going to mention the paintings one, you have no sodding idea if you're doing it right until you get the treasure notification. Plus skeleton mages up your arse.
Another delight is the 20 minute one. Literally just sit there for 20 minutes and wait for the chest to pop. Absolute madman, he is.
>Nier Automata, of course, will carry on providing those sudden shifts "The basic framework of the game is similar to the first," explains Taro. "You've got action bits and you've got adventuring and exploration as well. When I first got the request to set the game up from Saito-san, he requested a more action type of game, but I personally wanted to make something that was closer to Ocarina of Time, where you've got lots of field areas and you travel and do battle. I thought it was a really natural, really nice way for the game to be, so I tried to twist his brief to make it more of the kind of thing I wanted to make, and I think I've got it more of mine than his."
Stop asking .
Of just those two? 882.
However, there are some duplicates I still need to replace, and I also have some pics a kind anon translated.
>Still on Earth after its destruction and on going war between aliens and humans.
Caim confirmed Red Eye King.
I wasn't even asking m8, just discussing the possibility. I'm happy though, thanks for clarifying.
I love stylish action, but P* have been very clear in the interviews that they respect the original Nier and want to make a game in the same vein. Just imagine Nier with much better combat, and you're done.
>tfw you saw the bullet hell stuff in the trailer
Also what the hell is wrong with 4chan, seriously.
This post is kinda funny.
I guess this explains why some of the deaths are so blunt and sudden. No slowdowns, no sad music or sad monologue. The characters simply die, just like in real life.
I hope the happy ending that Taro's talking about is some goofy ass joke ending with all the characters hanging out eating cake and shit
Playing Drakengard 3 right now. I have no idea at all what to expect from this story, but having a group of cynical, sex-crazed, homocidal sociopaths as the main cast is quite a unique experience, I have to say.
And despite the game running like shit, I actually still enjoy the combat in a way.
He's either lying, which is more likely, or he serious and the happy ending is going to be some nonsense so far out of left field that no one could have predicted it.
You sound like the perfect type of person for the series. Just expect more weird bullshit and a healthy helping of sadness.
I just want all the characters to be happy, even the shit ones like Four.
>I just want all the characters to be happy
cute fan art is the closest you'll get
>even the shit ones like Four
Fuck you, Four is the best intoner and fights for justice.
Well, it sure is interesting. I'll have to suppress my waifufag urges, though. Sure doesn't seem worth it in this series, even though most of the Intoners are pretty cute.
Definitely seen worse gameplay of the kind.
Here's Taro giving a presentation at GDC if anyone's interested.
So, this edgelord didn't get killed by Caim in DoD1.3? Why did they even bother to make 1.3 then?
>you will never receive money to freely make games with balls to the wall crazy plots, disturbing cute futa characters, giant babies, pedophiles, cannibals, etc
I want to be Taro so much
>but having a group of cynical, sex-crazed, homocidal sociopaths as the main cast is quite a unique experience, I have to say.
Boy, are you going to have a fun time with Drakengard 1's cast.
>Not waifuing a cutie with an obsession with genital mutilation
What are you, gay?
I'm probably gonna watch a walkthrough of that one. I played a bit of it using an emulator, but the gameplay feels pretty shit to me and the camera is a pain in the ass.
I tend to look for the more ordinary delights in a waifu, anon.
What sort of interesting twist do you think YoHah would have, other than the cliche robot develops feelings?
>Final battle is a massacre ordered by your commander. A complete one-sided curbstomp
>Once done, your commander celebrates and looks straight at you over the shoulder of YoHah.
>"Good job, you have done much more than we could have ever hope for. It must be fate that our vessel accidentally found such a powerful controller.Thank you for playing, YoHah unit 2B, disconnect the Watcher"
>PS4 turns itself off.
I don't have many
After going from 3 to Nier to 1, I felt 1's cast was fairly weak. Leonard being a pedo is barely apparent in the english version (or maybe I'm dumb and just didn't catch on), Arioch was pretty nuts and the priest guy's racism is only apparent in like one like of dialogue in the chapter where you fight a bunch of orcs.
Maybe I just need to catch up on supplementary material.
>I'm probably gonna watch a walkthrough of that one.
I would recommend reading this screenshot Let's Play instead. It is a 100% walkthrough, with all weapons and endings, and it has reasonably entertaining commentary.
Prudes. The cast for D3 is alot more relatable because there are more nymphos with deviant fetishes than flatout psychopaths. Also, Arioch and Caim were pretty much mindbroken into psychos so not its not really them as well.
>Didja get lost, sir? Well, I'm sorry to hear that. ...A scholar, ya say? How excellent! This village has a fine library. I wager you'll like it very much.
>There's a kind and beautiful lady what keeps the library runnin'. She loves them books, she does. Spends all day copyin' tomes to make sure they ain't lost to time.
>But such beauty can be deadly! Aye, her twin sister sings by the village fountain, and she'll have yer head on a plate if ya make false moves on the librarian.
>Those twins protect the village, they do. ...Eh? Since when? Oh, I couldn't say for sure. Long and longer still. I reckon they'll probably do so until the end of time.
I hope this man takes over the world
>All he set out to do
Are you fucking retarded? The scroll shit never gets resolved. When trying to heal his daughter of it, she gets kidnapped instead, and in any ending, she's not cured.
>I'd read his DoD 2 one as well, it's pretty fun.
That LP is worth reading just for the astonishing stupidity of the main character. He literally abandons everything he stood for and nearly destroys the world just because "muh oppression".
i hope automata has comfy loading screens, nier had real nice ones.
Imagine how hot One would have looked is she could have survived for a year or two longer.
That makes me feel all fuzzy inside
Another Nier reference.
>A visitor? Ah, yes. Come hear the song, then. The innkeeper and her daughter will greet you warmly. Their food and drink is without compare, and the girl is a feast for the eyes.
>The girl's song is the best thing about the place. A single listen will drive all your troubles away. Did you know she has a sister? Ah, if only the sang a duet...
>Welcome back, traveler! It's been a while. Come to see the girls again? You certainly do like them! It's been decades since I first told you of them, and yet here you are again.
>What's that, traveler? You wonder why the girls never age? Ha ha ha! Those are the children of the girls you once knew! Surely you didn't think they were immortal! ...Did you?
There's an image of his face.
>cute diary entries from Yonah
>then suddenly black pages about scientific experiments and nuclear fallout
cute dragon's are the stinkiest
>And the sequel
The king grew old. His piercing eyes lost their light, and his formidable body has suffered regression. The vanity and fear he gathered upon himself throughout the years devoured his heart in their ugliness. The king was afraid. So to prevent himself from losing the borders under his protection, he repeatedly invaded the surrounding countries. The king was afraid. He could not bring himself to trust in his people's voices or his advisor's words. So he tried to take away everything with violence and tyranny.
There was one dragon that was loyal to the king. The wingless dragon followed every word that the king said. It was once saved by the king, and swore to repay his kindness with its soul. Even if they were foolish acts that it couldn't stand to overlook, it would follow along if the king ordered it. For the dragon, the king was justice itself.
One day, the dragon appeared before the king, covered in blood - blood spilled from the young prince when he was murdered. The one who gave the order was none other than his own father, the king. The dragon pleaded with the king. I cannot defy your commands. But I cannot follow them anymore. Kill me, the dragon said, and lowered his head tiredly.
That's an old story. The story of a foolish king, his country that had come to ruin hundreds of years ago and a wingless dragon. Even today, wind rushes through the plains. The same wind that blew on the day the king and the dragon exchanged vows.
Think there's one more in DoD3
Now I'm sad.
>I mustn't trouble my brother. He's busy with his sword practice, so I must be a good girl and not bother him to play with me.
>I mustn't trouble my brother. He's busy with politics, so I must be a good girl and not bother him to talk with me.
>I mustn't trouble my brother. He's busy fighting other countries, so I must be a good girl and not bother him with my worries.
>I mustn't trouble my brother. I mustn't let him know of the dark lust hiding in my bosom. If he were to see me like this, I would have to end my own life.
Hotglue it the night before Automata comes out. Gives you enough time to build a paper mache Emil mask that you will wear while you record yourself doing launching your magic all across your CE. Your sacrifice will be enough to ensure Nier 2's perfect.
Should have bought multiple copies like I did.
No fucking idea. Maybe Zero being a strong independent woman who don't need no man was enough to automatically get it a 7. I remember seeing some tumblr post where some guy complained that the game was sexist, based solely on Five's and Two's designs.
I think the 8.5 is more shocking, considering I looked at the review and it's pretty clear the guy stopped at ending A, or at least didn't make it to the final boss
>The small island was surrounded on all sides by the sea. It was a quiet place, blessed by beautiful, verdant nature. And once, it was where violent criminals were sent to die.
>Atop a cliff was a grave etched with a bladed blue ring. Fresh flowers covered it every day. "Who lies here?" the young boy asked. "A criminal," responded the old man.
>"Then why the flowers?" asked the boy. "Because," said the man, "he led a revolution in an effort to improve the lives of all. Here he led a pure life, and here he finally died."
>And with that, the old man fell silent and gazed out to sea. The grave's blue ring reflected the blue of the sky, while the waves added a dark tone to the sharpened blade.
>I remember seeing some tumblr post where some guy complained that the game was sexist, based solely on Five's and Two's designs.
Funnily enough I saw someone blowing that kind of opinion the fuck out on tumblr
>we could have gotten a baby faced 5
Armoured Five looks pretty cool though
The fuck is a kijiji? But my point still stands, I bought multiple CE of DoD3.
>“i didn’t even want to go on a rage against drakengard 3. i didn’t bring this shit up, an anon asked why i was hyping child of light instead of drakengard 3 and i told them why. but hey, if there was a ‘misogynistic game of the year’ award, seems like drakengard 3 would be high on the list of contenders.”
This level or ignorance is fucking astounding. Zero is literally what some these people fucking describe as how they want female leads. And this game gets written off because Five dresses like the arrogant harlot she is.
yeah pretty much
>Some final boss fight against some fucked up alien monster who's just trying to save his people or something
>Defeat him, fade to black
>Zero, Caim, Nier and a bunch of others are there
>They congratulate you and give you a cupcake, then talk about how they need to prepare for Drakengard 8
>cut to black
No. D1's story is about the futility of life, war and violence, how easily one can snuff out life and end everything one has worked towards. E is a pretty clear expression of that. He got the idea from Koei musou games, heh.
>tfw you're such a fag you wrote weapon descriptions for the two shown off in the trailer
replicant AND gestaltreferences
>going to do this for the next couple of weapons to be revealed
Excremento! Orina! Just the children I wanted to meet!
>There is one thing I am curious about, my lady.
What is it?
>The names of these beasts... What do they mean?
They're Spanish for "excrement" and "urine."
They're Spanish for "excrement" and "urine."
Oh! Well, I... All right then.
God dammit why is Three so cute. Someone this evil and twisted shouldn't be this adorable.
I hear you. The disciples are all crazy or humorous in their own way, it's fun to hear them talking. It's also part of the reason why I love Nier as well.
The game ran like ass at certain points of the game, but the decent gameplay makes up for it. I hope they bring back weapon switching in Automata.
Do you think the CE is worth it? I'm thinking of negotiating with a local guy who's selling his CE. He has listed that shit for 7 months but no one has even showed any interest in buying it from him.
I'm thinking of just getting the goodies from his CE as I already got the game itself. DLC is already redeemed but the jap voice sucks anyway, so I don't care.
There's a dragon with Angelus' voice actor in it.
m8, I'm a britfag. We got no disc, and I bought the CE for £100. No regrets. Got my poster framed and must've read the novella quite a few times. It's not often I get to support an obscure nipponese IP in my country, so fuck it. I got the dosh.
You're not wrong there m8.
I'm 100% sure we'll get a physical copy this time, DoD3 wasn't announced as a big name PS3 exclusive at E3. I shall be purchasing the CE, should there be one as well.
I am fast losing my patience with Persona and Atlus, but that's for another thread
