This year has been so shit that this might actually be the best game of the year, or at least, have the most value.
>Nightmares (Zombie Campaign)
>Dead Ops Arcade 2
>Zombies (Shadows of Evil)
What the fuck happened?
>What the fuck happened?
to me, actvision knows that CoD makes money, it.s guaranteed. so (and just a reminder this is my opinion) they put more effort into CoD unlike some games that came out this year. also since its treych, we will get a somewhat good story along with fun mutilplayer and zombies.
you have to ask yourself : "will i have more fun with black ops 3 or battlefront?"
I doubt it'll be GOTY for /v/ of all places, but it is weird to be in a position where I honestly hold this game in higher regard to a lot of other shit that came out this year or is about to come out. I definitely feel like I'll have more fun with this than with FO4, that's for goddamned sure.
But I've no doubt JC3 will be my personal GOTY.
I admit that I haven't, but the amount of content that we know of is quite substantial and CoD plays like CoD, so I know what to expect there. I'm honestly wondering if the 15 hour campaign rumor is true because if it is, that's pretty hefty. A CoD campaign is never anything to write home about but I have to admit I enjoy the setpieces a lot. BLOPS and BLOPS2 had pretty good campaigns too, and BLOPS2 surprised me with choices and shit you could do in some missions.
It'll be a good pirate.
>disappointing story, no splitscreen
the witcher 3
metal gear solid V
>excellent gameplay, barebones open world and stupid reasons
assassins creed syndicate
>same gameplay openworld fourmala
black ops 3 will be fun
>BLOPS and BLOPS2 had pretty good campaigns too,
I don't get this, I can sort of understand retards liking the Black Cocks 2 campaign because "wow, choices!" but the first Black Cocks was just MW2 with a tweest
Because I wasn't expecting that TWEEST at all. Went through it like any other CoD campaign and was surprised they handled having a protag that mattered pretty well. Infinity Ward's protags were usually nobody soldiers that accompany the characters who mattered, but BLOPS did that shit rather well. Made me care about the story, that's all.
Considering me and every one of my friends could not finish a match of the Black Ops 3 beta without raging from how bullshit the gunplay is; I would say I'm going to have more fun in battlefront.
What is free run?
>>Nightmares (Zombie Campaign)
>>Zombies (Shadows of Evil)
What exactly is the difference? Anyone know?
>tfw wanna buy blops 3, but no PS4
I'd buy it on PC, but PC COD communities die fast as FUCK
Top 100 steam games, and COD BLOPS2 at the peak of 6.6k today, and COD WAW at 2.1k.
We had this same thread earlier. If you're going to incessantly post about it at least be original or atleast use a different picture. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about this game too. Please try and change up your posts desu senpaitachi.
It's weird how, the new cods aren't there, which kinda proves my point of it probably not being a good investment.
They did announce mod support, so they could mean Zombies mods like CODWAW.
>It's weird how, the new cods aren't there,
No because they are fucking terrible compared to BLOPS2 so nobody plays them
which kinda proves my point of it probably not being a good investment.
Again, no. This is the successor to BLOPS3 and made by the same devs
>Oh boi oh boi i gotta make that GOTY
>What are fans liking about the past 2 cods, and how can we add that into the Blops universe?
>good game that started development as soon as Blops2 launched and adjusted according to the successes and failures of IW and Sledgehammer, along with listening to fans
>No because they are fucking terrible compared to BLOPS2 so nobody plays them
I didn't really enjoy BLOPS2 (Skipped the single player because MW3 was so bad, I just gave up)
Multiplayer felt meh to me.
Enjoyed BLOPS more than BLOPS2.
Enjoyed BLOPS3 a lot more than BLOPS 2.
>Activision is now shilling fucking cowadooty on /v/
This is so cute.
>want to buy it but PS3/360 versions wont have the campaign
>buying cross-gen games on old hardware
>Treyarch makes the best call of duty games
Oh boy, I can't wait for another year of disappointment
>november last year
>first weeks were actually really fun, lasers, boost dodging, stupid customization and jetpacks turned out to be exactly what call of duty needed
>already spotty performance sharply went downhill with each patch to the point where I couldn't play a single match anymore
>can't refund a game I am literally physically unable to play a single round or mission of because it was running fine for just long enough to go over the refund limit
fast forward to 2015
>black ops 3 beta happens
>preorder the game again for access
>performance issues again, this time more widespread
>quickly refund before going over 2 hours
>can't buy the game for the preorder content, have to wait for at least a day to see if it's still unoptimized garbage
I hate parroting opinions found on /v/ but I'm starting to believe that statement that bethesda and other developers basically raise the roof of system requirements so they can just bruteforce their game instead of making good use of a well designed engine
That's Bethesda though, expecting anything good out of them just leads to disappointment.
The only Cawadooty game I would actually defend is World at War, and that's because it was the last game that was somewhat decent.
>Newer games have loads of features and bonus content
>community is actually alive
>Black Ops 2 managed to get story choices better than every other movie-game bullshit this gen, and didnt even make a big deal about it
>Newer games have loads of features and bonus content
Wow, a new COD game gives me what every goddamn sequel gives?
>community is actually alive
Impressive, people play a multiplayer game.
That totally doesn't make it a generic game
>Black Ops 2 managed to get story choices better than every other movie-game bullshit this gen, and didnt even make a big deal about it
Yeah, and no trace of the choice system in BO3.
So original this little game, gonna preorder it right now.
>pre-BF3 Battlefield games
kek. DICE is garbage. The only reason to play those games were for the mods. I gave zero shits about vanilla BF1942 after discovering and playing the Forgotten Hope mod.
2 and three where shit and you know it
Never played the first but second is alright.
I've only liked 1942
1.6 isn't as good as CSS or GO, you fucking kekold
I can see the appeal but tripwire has gone to sjw shit
Objectively shit series.
I just see it as a pile of blocks, and a game being a structure. Bethesda and Ubisoft make their structures by piling the blocks on top of each other. You get a product, but it's incredibly unstable, prone to crashing, it's uneven and little bits are sticking out everywhere, and it's needlessly high on requirements. With every 'fix', they just throw another block on top.
Meanwhile you get shit like MGSV or most SEGA games on steam(Binary Domain comes to mind) and it's just a beautiful neat little igloo. All the pieces fall into each other perfectly and it forms a smooth but also solid structure. And because it's three times lower and compact than the big clunky tower you can run it 60fps on your granny's laptop.
It can't be that hard to just make a game that works, but apparently devs have a lot to learn still.
>Treyarch and Activision care enough about PC to do mod and map tools
Can someone explain this to me
Cowadooty certainly didn't, and that shit is the main difference between this and COD4.
Yeah, it's funny that they promised the same for Black Ops 1 and they still haven't delivered.
Bought it on one of those key sites for like $36. Game seems cool and at this point I'm more worried about getting the game taken away/getting my identity stolen than not enjoying the game.
Game seems packed to the brim with content and mod tools are nice if they actually come out. Haven't played a CoD game since MW.
>a game in the series has done it before
>that means people shouldn't be happy a later game is doing it again
They actually run at 30 fps. Might be unlocked 30 fps but it's still targeting 30 fps.
Yes they did.
I'm still waiting for those tools 4 years later.
So i'm not going to buy this until the tools are released.
Zero reasons to trust them.
It's got co-op for single player. And that L4D-ish zombies mode along with the traditional zombie mode (I think). And mod tools potentially. Not having played BO2 it'll be new to me. Plus the campaign is different. I've gotten over criticizing CoD for not innovating in each iteration, it's at least comfortable with what it is. At least they're not watering shit down every game like a lot of other series are.
>What the fuck happened?
Three year development cycle. That plus Treyarch's usually good with bang-for-your-buck when it comes to CoD games. I won't be buying it, but this is the most interested I've been in CoD since Black Ops 2 (last one I actually bought).
And to further shill: GreenManGaming has the game for $40.
Hope GMG has copies till tomorrow and my bank doesn't block them
>was 44$ last week
>40$ on day one with NO tax
Fuck fuck fuck fuck. I was going to buy it, but I'm so tempted.
Someone please. Talk me out of it.
PC version doesn't have offline co-op right?
Honestly wasn't that hyped for Black Ops 3 knowing nothing about it but I saw a trailer for it somewhere and damn got to admit it looked pretty good. The free running especially, I had a hard on for Titanfall while it was a thing.
>That plus Treyarch's usually good with bang-for-your-buck when it comes to CoD games
>Game seems packed to the brim with content
>It has the most content in any cod game ever
Props to Activision for this shilling campaign.
>has essentially 2 campaigns, one 20 hours and one 5 hours
>both support co-op
>traditional multiplayer and zombies too
>the whole gun customization thing
>potentially mods and custom maps
Shit on the game all you want but it does have loads of content.
I got a wolfenstein pre-order key from amazon almost a year after the game came out. It could be a pre-order key, it doesn't really matter since Nuketown was free in blops 2 after a while
Completed the campaign last night
it was all a simulation aka a FUCKING DREAM
At least we actually got to go back to world war 2 for a while.
I started playing COD around MW2. I jumped in late because I thought I wouldn't care about FPS war games, but then I learned how fun they could be. So I got Black Ops, and I had a fucking blast. Like it would be the game I'd come home just to play. The Zombies were my favorite, but BO1 had some of the most fun multiplayer maps I can remember. Even the DLC maps were tight.
The BO2 happened. I don't know what it was about it, but it just wasn't as good all over. The maps weren't that good, the futuristic tone was ok but felt over the top. I think the best thing to come out of it was the new class building system. But everything else felt worse- the servers even felt like they were shittier (don;t know if it was just me though).
Anyway, despite there being a rough patch around that period, I still hold BO as one of my favorite FPSes, so I have hopes for this one.
Oh for fucks sake Treyarch.
So what's actually going on. how does it tie with previous CODs.
MGSV runs well because it's not really pushing hardware. Everything has less polygons than most other games, the shadows are all sharp, and the way the world loads cuts down on performance issues but it's more gimping shit than code optimization. It's an example of removing stuff until the game runs well rather than pure code optimization like people seem to think.
You just reminded me of one of my favorite Zombies maps.
>there are actually people on /v/ who liked cod zombies
>those same fucking stupid codtards are actually here right now posting amongst us
I give up
Depends on how obvious the gimping is. Cutscenes mostly look fine besides the low poly issue I mentioned since it applies to pretty much everything. That's ignorable though. During gameplay it varies a lot.
Just letting you know that the game's "optimization" isn't due to (mostly) good coding but has more to do with the game just being a lot less hardware intensive than other games.
>Bullet Magnetism: The Series
The old cards with similar performance ratings company run the game worth shit. Nvidia is a shady fucking company man, they gimp the older cards on purpose so you are forced to buy the new ones 2 years later.
Syndicate is actually surprisingly decent. There's finally an emphasis on actual assassinations again. I don't know if it's as good as Black Flag although I'm still pretty early in the game, but I'm having
>you're some sort of spec ops soldier
>mission doesn't go all sunshine and rainbows
>robot fucks your shit up
>wake up as a cyborg
>your new friends train you with VR
>lol VR never ended
We source code now.
>enjoying a good yet shallow game that knows what it is over a game in a series that waters itself down with every iteration trying to appeal to people other than its fans
I don't see the issue.
Advanced Warfare was one of the better games last year. I'm willing to give Blops3 a chance, but I don't foresee it being the best game of it's release window with Just Cause 3 and XCX coming out on its heels, let alone best of the year
>all this hype
are we all getting tricked like mason did?
I have no idea why people like Just Cause 2. I didn't necessarily dislike it but it just seems incredibly overrated. The gameplay mechanics are garbage and the world is more empty than MGSV and yet people for some reason cling to it as some masterpiece and think JC3 will be anything other than a somewhat fun but forgettable game this year.
You really shouldn't do that, anon. Advanced Warfare was made by Sledgehammer Games while Black Ops 3 was developed by Treyarch. Just because AW was good does not mean this will be good (though it does look solid).
Trufax: Just Cause 3 is being made by Avalanche Software's B-team as their A-team (the team behind Just Cause 2) developed Mad Max. The Creative Director for Just Cause 3 has never designed a video game nor been director on one and has mainly handled the business aspect of video games.
>WW2 where all different sides are working together
>1960s playing as people like JFK
>Now a noire nightmare type environment with Ron Pearlman and Jeff Goldblum
It is way more interesting than a bunch of generic characters in modern day generic land
In retrospect I actually enjoy the Treyarch games a lot did a lot of interesting things with the story and campaign structure. I'm torn now should I get it on PC for mods and 4k or PS4 for friends and the co-op campaign?
>It was a bland, uninspired game mode stolen from Gears of War to try to get some of their idiotic fanbase.
>World at War was released in November 2008
>Gears of War 2 was released in November 2008
>4 days apart
>Gears of War 1 didn't have Horde
I put like 30 hours into the beta and then immediately pre-ordered both the game and season pass. Unless Fallout 4 knocks my socks off, it's going to be GOTY hands down. The Black Ops 3 beta on the other hand was entirely underwhelming and I only played a couple matches before getting bored.
COD 2 was my first exposure to the 360 when it came out. I found a demo kiosk in Target of the African level. I was really blown away by the graphics. It's funny thinking back to that
AVP2 had a horde like mode, probably games before it had one too
Bland and uninspired.
>implying Gears of War 2 didn't hype the shit out of it
Nigger that's why it was so shoddily made. They heard about what the gamemode was and slapped it together in a week. Goddamn retards.
Remember when this was hailed as great graphics too by people
It uses Uplay on PC and it's not being marketed enough for any system. While the map will be free I doubt it will survive.
Ghosts started a significant downward sales trend for the series that Advanced Warfare continued. Activision is desperate to keep this ship afloat so they're marketing much more aggressively than they had to before. Quite frankly, the multiplayer shooter competition is stiff this year and I think Black Ops 3's sales will reflect this by continuing the decline.
I haven't looked into this game at all, but Halo isn't gonna be good for a minimum of a month, so I was thinking about picking up this game
The most interesting part for me is Zombies, I liked them in Ghosts.
What are they doing with zombies this time around?
>I put like 30 hours into the beta and then immediately pre-ordered both the game and season pass
>30 hours of the same 2 maps over and over
>meanwhile cod had 4 maps, and unlocks to newer shit
>implying reddit is up this late on a school night
That being said, it is odd that even a relatively late night CoD thread isn't full of shitposting. Five or so years ago it'd only be late-night Halo threads that were free from shitposts -- wait, no, MW2 was still somewhat acceptable on here if memory serves me right.
I'm going to wait until March 2016 when the mod tools come out before buying it on PC
Don't forget the official modding and mapping tools.
Speaking of which, do you guys think that with the mod tools, modders will be able to directly port the old zombies maps?
If that siot got Workshop support that would be fucking amazing too.
I think it's because Black Ops 3 actually looks like a good game full of content that makes it stand out, especially considering it's been in development for 3 years
When the game was first announced, the threads about it here were few and had plenty of shitposting going around. Nut now, I think people are legitimately interested in it and I think that's a good thing.
I'm really torn between BO3 and FO4.
I haven't owned a COD game since MW3.
I have never played any of the Fallouts.
I really wanted to play FO4 because I'm in the mood for an RPG, slower paced game. But BO3 looks really fun. I'm leaning on getting BO3 now and getting FO4 when the price drops.
>I really wanted to play FO4 because I'm in the mood for an RPG
FO4 is barely an RPG. Go play something else if you want a good RPG. If you want to play an FPS with stats Stalker is better at that too.
But TW3 is fine. Do you people evn know what optimization is?
1. The reccomended requirements are for Ultra settings at 1080p and 30fps, stated by the devs themselves. I have a fucking 8350 and a 970 and I never had any bad performance with the game especially after the patches. Using riva tuner I saw that the massive game somehow didn't even get to 2GB of VRAM usage. Which is incredible considering how big the game is and how the textures are pretty good. Secondly the fact that all games nowadays seem to have such shitty bloated VRAM usage makes it even more impressive.
2. GPU usage is always very high, as it should be.
You can tell agame is poorly optimized when the GPU usage fluxuates when running the game with a fully unlocked framerate. GTA V is a good example of this, GPU usage is all over the place and will drop to 50-60% is heavy areas. It baffles me that people call that game a 'good port'/ it's a fucking horrible port. Then turn around and call TW3 badly optimized. Is the whole world fucking backwards?
3.CPU usage is stable and balanced across all cores that are utilized.
Weapons have various stats, so does armor. Here are the stats that armor and artifacts modify
And for weapons. This page also contains armor stats
it's funny how we used to see activation as like, pure evil a few years ago but nowadays they seem to be the lesser of evils compared to like Konami.
and i wasn't expecting to say that a call of duty game looks interesting. might not be the best game this year but it looks like something i might get after a price drop
the only problem i ever had with it was just how bare bones it was.
Zombies is alright, not the best hoard mode game but solid.
The lack of weapon diversity and damage sponge zombies is a bummer, but it's nice for a tacked on mode for a bigger game.
Nah, CoD zombies just has the whole gambling thing + weapon upgrades, beyond that the actual mode is pretty meh overall.
Don't call a game a horrible port when it's your inferior hardware. You do realize that a 770 was the recommended GPU for 1080p Ultra at 30FPS, right?
This guy explained it better
Activision/Sledgehammer are still shit, they make shit like Ghosts/Advanced Warfare now
Treyarch has been consistently good with world at war, black ops 1 and 2, while quality wildly varies when infinity ward and others make the yearly game.
After seeing all the leaked Fallout 4 stuff, I'm not getting it until its on sale and there are plenty of mods. I'm really thinking about getting this from GMG for around $40 though.
>Nightmare mode is just the campaign, but with zombies
That sounds kinda dumb, does it have it's own story or what?
>if you buy the Season pass, you also get Der Riese 2.0
I thought it was going to be a reimagining, but it's just the map in HD. Was kinda let down.
>That sounds kinda dumb, does it have it's own story or what?
We don't know yet
>I thought it was going to be a reimagining, but it's just the map in HD. Was kinda let down.
At least its a good map to come in HD.
This. At least CoD shills don't constantly shitpost about their game by comparing it to everything else under the sun because The Witcher video game series is the crowning achievement of all of Poland and it's every Pole's patriotic duty to blind themselves to all flaws and cry about how it probably won't win a single god damned GOTY award.
CoD shills just make a thread. Post a couple links and walk away.
So is Treyarch gonna make a new Spiderman game soon?
I expect them to make one more COD before it starts to completely decline
>Blops has more choices that effects the story than a shitton of modern RPGs
>Blops has more roleplaying mechanics than a roleplaying game
>Just Cause 3
>Mortal Kombat X
>Dragons Dogma PC port announced
>an actually good call of duty game
>One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
dunno what youre talking about op. pretty great year from my perspective
>And the game actually looks worse with every new "mod" they shell out
Since current gen the CoD games have actually looked pretty damn good. AW I thought looked fantastic most of the time.
Anyone know if they will increase enemy health in SP? what i the point in all these gadgets, movement options etc if you can insta kill enemies, even Halo knows that enemies need to be able to take some damage to be able to shine.
>mfw the PC version can create their own Spec Ops mode
>You will be able to create Maps & Game Modes and more!
>We will include Unranked Dedicated Server Files with the tools so you can run servers with modded content anywhere you choose.
>We will provide an Unranked Server Browser so you can easily find and join servers with modded content.
>Closed Alpha target date: March 2016
Hip fire should have laser accuracy, it would be more like a fast paced arena shooter instead of constantly slowing down by ADS.
Old CoDs worked fine with ADS but now that you are darting all over the place it doesn't fit, it completely clashes with the movement options, imagine if you had to ADS in quake to be accurate.
A seperate game mode to try it out would at least be a good start.
You sound like a 12 year old on Youtube posting about how cowadooty destroyed the game industry.
There is no legitimate argument you could give for the new games looking worse than 4. You keep throwing around "plasticy" but that applies to 4. Now that they're not stuck on the PS360 they can make shit actually look good. Yeah, the shaders are good, that's basically what keeps shit from looking like plastic. With last gen they couldn't afford good shaders and so your whole plastic argument actually applies there.
I am genuinely tired of discussions about shaders, textures, FO4 looking like trash etc. Unless it's a discussion about the art design of a game or if it really is horrible looking I don't care anymore, I can't muster up the energy to care when the games I have enjoyed the most in recent years have been technically mediocre looking.
okay brah, you still mad about your lack of dedicated servers. Like I care what some dumbass youtube star thinks, just going from my own impression of what I played. If you want a highly competitive shooter go elsewhere.
ROFL, a neckbeard telling me I am alone with myself. If you have to rely on youtube stars or /v/ hivemind to determine what is good or bad then you are just another spineless /v/irgin.
>having fun is part of the problem
only a person with no life or accomplishments outside video games would say that
been playing games since 89, sequels have always been a thing. Yearly releases are often shit, sometimes they are not. I refuse to believe that there are people on this board who actually use memes to determine if a game is good or not
The campaign is so weird.
>robot fucks your shit up
>get a cool cyborg body
>CIA files in danger, as always
>find secret old base with human brain experiments
>one of your teams go awol and leaks the CIA files
>lol raul menendez no flight zone
>crazy bitch with dreams about ww2, tiger tanks and zombies
Shit gets crazier the longer you play.
I like this shill. He just mentions his game and mentions how everything else is shit creating a relaxed thread to talk about the years vidya. Better than every other shill memeing it up non stop.
ah yes, you only play the most sophsticated and throught-provoknig video juegos such as senran kagura or neptunia. maybe girls aint your style, so you play metal gear. such a witty, deep masterpiece that latest one was! Or perhaps you keep it good ol' western hemisphere with such masterpieces as Fallout 4, that hippest and hypest work from the great orator Todd Howard. perhaps you've been playing that wonderful annual release from those vunderkin at ubisoft, Assassin's Creed Syndicate? Wait, wait, no. these are not the games one such as you plays. you only play "good" games, which MUST mean you've been entranced by Toby Fox's absolute magnum opus, undertale. Certainly no time to waste on things you don't like, thatta boy. and because YOU don't like them, well, no-one else would too, right?
>he disagreed with me
>he must be a shill
Take a real deep breath and think. Is it not possible there may exist people who differ in opinion from you who are not, in fact, being paid to do so?
fun fact family, fun things are
fun. I like to play things i find fun. I find call of duty black ops the third fun, from what media has been shown. hence, I'll be playing it. I'm sorry if that upsets you. You may wish to leave the internet, as it is a place where very few will deign to change their ways to please you. Might I suggest tumblr as an alternate site? it seems more your comfort zone.
>native to /v/
Ok now I know you're trying way too hard. No one is native to this shithole. anyone who is proud to be 'from' here is either 12 themselves or medically braindead from overdosing on memes.
we get it, how about you go about shitting another thread with your elite taste
welcome back friend. It appears you're still rather upset. Wouldn't it better for your mental health if you visited a different thread? You're only harming yourself by getting angry and raising your blood pressure while staying here and getting mad at us. Don't become another anon who died before he could find his perfect game. Do it for yourself anon! leave this thread, and purge us from your mind.
it's mirror's edge in CoD
Black Ops 1 was fun because it was a cheesy and fun story that didn't pretend to be the super serious real war like Modern Warfare.
Characters were actually memorable, and it had consistent story hooks that compelled you to keep playing (The numbers, what do they mean? And Reznovs death list). That's not to say it was a peice of fine literature, but it was written by someone who understood basic narrative structure, which is something a lot of games fuck up.
And the various Cold War settings made it fun, for some reason games went straight from 1945 to 2010s and beyond, skipping over all the great possible settings in the second half of the 20th century.
This might interest me.
Question for you - get it on PC or xbone, which would be better for community, controls etc? I've not really played any shooters since last generation until very recently when halo 5 came out and I got back into consoles, I'm mostly a pc gamer
>find secret old base with human brain experiments
Hold a fucking tit, you mean that fuck face who posted at least 5 whole post of leaks was right?
You men this?
>Crosby is relevant apparently
I wish CoD stopped the yearly release. It fragments the playerbase too much. I really wanted to get CoD AW for that futuristic FPS itch I've been meaning to scratch
But CoD Blops 3 would probably suck out what's left of the remaining players from AW
not even top 100 on steam, inb4 >playing CoD on PC
>friend is a reviewer
>big online site
>reviewing Fallout 4
>actually thinks game is one big step back and in the office BO3 is the talk of the week
>his editor told him that no lower score than 8 is allowed for F4
>he doesn't want to lose job
This got me furious, fucking Bethesda.
>mfw last gen consoles
In the fucking OP is saying that every game in this year has been shit.
Also, it's so cute how you pathetic shills have kept this thread alive for 9 fucking hours in one of the fastest boards in 4chan and it still only has 340 replies.
Holy shit, I just ended the campaign, that leak was false, the entire fucking thing it's a simulation.
IT'S ALL A FUCKING DREAM
I'm returning this piece of shit this evening.
Wait for an actual playthrough, you fuck.
This is so fucking lame.
Reznov is only referenced in the WWII flashback thing, nothing more.
Nothing it's explained, literally the only connection this has to previous Black Ops game is just a bunch of references.
Why they called this Black Ops 3 is beyond me.
I'm playing the zombie mode right now, but i'm having Deja Vu from the last 3 zombie modes, in the end, it's all the same thing.
This is so fucking bad.
There is no might about it. If you like videogames, Blops 3 will be goty. If you used to like videogames and have become jaded, Blops 3 will also still be goty. '
I don't even fucking like zombies. As far as fiction goes, they are rarely done in a way that I care about. But Blops doesn't try to be all serious about it. Its less Walking Dead and more Evil Dead.
>There is no might about it. If you like videogames, Blops 3 will be goty. If you used to like videogames and have become jaded, Blops 3 will also still be goty.
-t Treyarch employee.
Everyone knows the game is getting shilled pretty fucking hard, but don't seem so desperate, be more subtle with it.
>HURR IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS YOU ARE NOT A GAMER
Stop projecting, gaming pal.
Black Ops 1 had you download the components separately as well. That was half a decade ago. Some people don't want to play everything.
Hey, whoah, why are you so angry? You're one senpai that needs to step it down.
Holy shit Op you might actualy be right
>constantly shill this game in /v/
Can you grow the fuck up and stop being 12 years old?
This is a video games board, why are you surprised that people are talking about a popular highly anticipated game that is out in two days?
If you don't like people talking about video games you should fuck off somewhere else.
Oh yeah, I have to believe that in just 1 week /v/ changed it's opinion from considering this franchise itself a joke to loving it, preordering it and having one thread after another about it even though no threads have reached bump limit.
>why are you surprised that people are talking about a popular highly anticipated game that is out in two days?
Yeah, there's so much anticipation that this 10 hour long thread doesn't even have 400 replies, when your average popular thread reaches bump limit in barely 2 hours.
Isn't it weird that in order to not get shot posted to oblivion you just have to sign a deal with sony?
How many out of place COD shill threads have there been on /v/ before the sony deal?
Shady and disgusting marketing there sony
It's seriously ridiculous.
You are nothing but a sad little child who is brainwashed by shitposting and memes.
All you is spend all day shitposting tour sad little life away calling anyone who isn't a shitposting rurd like you a shill.
Go fuck yourself and fuck off to reddit where you belong.
>hyped for yet another yearly cowadooty rehash
>CoD shill telling others to go to reddit
You guys are fitting in well.
Now you just have to make some epic meme quotes to plaster over the game's cover and you'll even have your very own meme.
-t mad shill
>cod saving gaming
These guys aren't subtle at all.
Last one was COD4.
Tried all the other CODs and I never managed to stick with one, always came back to COD4.
This time will not be different.
Release mod tools first, release DLC for free like with COD4, give 64 player option to enjoy all that chaos, and then i'll buy it.
Fucking DICE is making free maps, I bet Activision can do the same.
I'm probably going to pick up BO3 which will make it the first CoD since BO2 I actually paid for. It looks like they're doing some neat stuff for PC. Though that's not exactly hard when your game is 70% finished before you even start making it. They don't really have to improve much on their visuals or engine. They just make weapons, maps, a campaign, and Treyarch makes zombies. I'm glad they've started using the games being nearly finished from the seventh week of development to their advantage.
Well I kinda got to the point where I only bought them for zombies. MW3 was shit, felt buyer's remorse for that almost immediately. I hated BO2 after a week because the zombies was shit. Had a friend buy me Ghost and I fucking hated it too. Glad I didn't pay for that one.
Pre ordered and the wait is killing me
Calling out of work on Friday and I feel like a kid waiting for christmas.
>MW2 not being the best CoD
C'mon son, it was just CoD4 with more stuff. Not to mention it had some fun glitches.
>every game is never-ending rust domination
>all ac-130 firing modes are full-auto
>unpatched akimbo 1887's were ridiculous
The only problem was it was where 360 quickscopes really took off.
MW2 was COD4 without dedicated servers, without mods, without 64 players and with an even more unbalanced granade launcher.
You are the kid liking post-COD4 cowadooty.
No, they were the same linear shit as always.
Black Ops 2 was good because of the choices, but they got rid of that in BO3 because, why would anyone do anything good?
>Black Ops 2
>literally biggest ms delay in the series
Ya know I'm gonna go ahead and admit I was still a console babby when MW2 launched so I didn't have the server or player problems. You guys have a point. Still, even once they patched all the console glitches I still had more fun with it than any other console shooter besides Halo 3. Those were always tied for me.
>everyone likes blops 3
You wish, Mr. Marketeer.
Hahaha oh wow, they are also shilling Black Ops 3 comics in /co/. this is hilarious.
When do we get a stand alone Zombie CoD? Zombies is the only thing good about the new CoD. I mean Activision bought Candy Crush for 10 billion jewish dollars. They have enough money.
>we cyborg robots now
>muh mind uploads
>CIA files in danger
>our backup team went rogue and published the CIA files
>rogue team found secret CIA mind experiment and got mindfucked
>one of the mindfucked soldiers put you through a WW2 scenario
I quit when the zombies entered the campaign.
>you can only have fun in the games i like!
stay salty, random autist anon
Yeah but if Blops 3 has mod tools, we'll have three years to enjoy it, because 2016 and 2017 will have whatever bullshit Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer crap out that no one will care about.
no, ya dingus.
on disc, but im sure theres patches you need to download before you can play.
doubtful, especially on PC, game is #2 best selling on steam now.
>saw my little cousin play once
>just follows the same pattern, running to 3 different places, saying how he saw a streamer kill 400+ zombies like this or something, spending half of his time on the edge of a ledge where they can't really get to you.
Pretty much just using exploits and spreadsheet data to maximize numbers instead of playing a game and fighting and trying to win.
Where does the fun come from trying to follow a flowchart as simple as that?
He only ever died when he got fed up after hours and let them kill him. what's the point?
Golly I feel old desu senpai.
Nope, it's still going to be Fallout 4, no matter what, because irregardless of all the shit being thrown at it it'll still be a good game.
CoD, on the other hand, is dead, and it has been for a long time. This won't be GOTY at all. Do you seriously think all the insane anti-CoD fans on the internet are going to let it be? Even if Fallout 4 was borderline unplayable it'd still be forced higher than BO3
Black Ops 2 is still the most played CoD on PC. Lots of people don't even care about the series anymore, unless it's made by Treyarch. So there's a chance. Their anti cheat is also pretty good.
Also mods and map maker next year. One is possible, that next two CoDs after it may really be dead after a month or two.
I mean currently. And it's really not
There's also lots of those servers with dummy players just to redirect you to different empty server.
I wish there was more vanilla servers with less than 24 players.
