itt characters who did nothing wrong
on a personal level he was right. i think his actions in the hospital are supposed to reflect the player's built connection to ellie throughout the game. the player's means has nothing to do with the means of the game's world, and through that the player's connection to ellie makes them acknowledge joel's connection to her.
last of us had some problems but i REALLY liked how it finished off
then you're a pedokek who doomed yourself and your 13yr old bae to a pointless existence, disgracing the work of all of our combined ancestors, you edgy faggot. fucking greater good and shit.
He was just slightly upset that the magic was to be taken away from humanity.
He just wanted to transfer his consciousness into a young British girl.
Is that really so wrong?
>Abandoned by brother, Basch, when the Archadian Empire invaded
>Forced to care for their sickly mother
>Returned to his mother's homeland, Archadia
>Enlists in Archadian military, eventually becomes Judge Magister
>Ultimately remains loyal to the very empire that destroyed his home and robbed him of his future, though it agonizes him to do so
>Gives his life to protect his charge, the young Larsa
>Still regarded as a villain by Basch and company
To be fair, he WAS a bandit at one point in his life, so he actually did do something wrong.
Not during the events of the game though. He did the right thing in the end, despite the underage/lonely faggots who have no one to care about saying otherwise.
