is there any android game that is not a pay2win waitfest/grindfest?
i only have minecraft PE installed, and phone feels empty as fuck but i cant find any f2p game worth shit on the play store...
is there a hope for mobile gaming or should i just give up?
whats the point on buying a 600$ phone when every game in it thats worth shit can be played on the PC....
I like fate grand order
Its grindy though
some fun games include:
MagicTouch: Wizard For Hire
Daddy Long Legs
Beat Hazard Ultra
those are just some that I've played and every single one of them is either free or is available on Pirate Bay. While I'd say they're all fun I'd never consider them particularly good games; though in some cases the devs are genuinely talented and passionate about video games, they're just stuck to a shitty platform.
also a SNES and GBA emulator go without saying.
Did they ever fix the boomerang getting lost in chasm levels?
Cardinal Quest II is a better roguelike since it has an endless mode and difficulty settings. Really great game even though it's still child
s play if you play real roguelikes like DCSS
That's the problem. Mobile gaming is cancer and full of iditos. That's why they can sell phone worth of the 600$ and keep people playing games that you can skip time if you toss money at the phone.
If you want game with something deeper, you need to stop looking at mobile's direction.
I love Puzzle and Dragons despite being one if those games. It's so well balanced you can play with no IAPs fairly easily. Of course, the stamina thing is an issue when you're starting out.
Still, I found it better than any other game of the same style. Most fair, most generous and best gameplay.
the two android games that impressed me the most are
Shadow fight 2 - (free but you have to grind sometimes if you don't want to pay. still playing it for 20-30 mins per day is a pretty good experience)
Reaper - has a free demo version and it can be pirated, makes the most of the touch screen controls is a great action game and has some rpg elements
>Not emulating ur pc on ur phone
I was going to shill pic related, but it's iOS only.
Android Games are literal fucking cancer.
I used to process refunds for them.
The Playerbase is composed of entitled manchildren who dump tens of thousands of dollars into Clash of Clans, and Game of War -Fire Age.
It's not uncommon to get some butthurt manchild asking for a 15,000 USD refund because he got stomped by some one else.
To top it off, theirs also tons of refund abusers, its not uncommon for people with 1 day olds accounts to drop 1000 bucks on in-app items, and then claim their children did it. By the time the refund is processed the items are moved, or sold, so even if the devs wanted to remove them its difficult.
Fuck Mobile Gaming.
80 Days is fun as fuck for a few playthroughs if you are into that sort of thing, story based games with lots of text and a steampunk setting.
It is also available for PC as far as I know, but I think it'd work better on mobile.
No idea what you are referencing.
Beat Sneak Bandit is a Rhythm Puzzle game. You move forward one "space" by tapping to the beat. Tap off the beat, and your character will freeze and destroy any clocks on your platform level (You collect clocks to unlock special stages) There are hazards/shill
>Fallout Shelter on Android
>No Cloud Save
>All game data stored on mobile device
>Game offers in-app purchases
>Game has glitches that erase vaults, these effect practically every user at a certain point
>People buy in-app purchases for a game that's only backed up on their phone and is essentially guaranteed to crash and lose those in-app purchases.
Whats the most someone has spent on Clash of Clans? I've been playing it for like a year and I'm ashamed of myself because I once spent $20. Can't imagine people spending hundreds never mind thousands.
Well, at least these rich people with spending and competition addictions and poor impulse control haven't resorted to using the rest of us as bloodsport yet, though I imagine that's about 3 years out. At least that's plenty of time to win the Powerball.
I played Boom Beach for like 500+ hours and never spent a single cent on it, It's pure garbage but I only play because my dad is playing too and he's happy we do something together.
Into the dead
those are fun wastes of time with no reason to spend money. Other than that get some emulators and turn based RPG's.
Casino Apps are pretty bad too, because people have legit gambling addictions. I'm not sure why they play them on Mobile, as both Google, and Apple has policies against offering money or items in Gambling games.
So essentially they dump all of their money into a casino that never pays out.
Humble Bundle games are hit or miss but at least they are not usually p2w grindfests...
I am playing a lot of IF lately. Its better than the Choose your Story shit on the store and works well enough. Some great games, little battery consumption, looks like you might have a social life while using it.
This shit right here...
been playing this shit for more than a year and I can tell you there's more to it than some tower defense game.
most premium stuff can be earned ingame and there's a gacha capsule mechanic which is addictive as fuck.
also it has a sizable non-cancerous fanbase on both the west and the east and garnered enough attention to collab with other gamedev company.
> Being an offline plebeian.
Seriously though, game doesn't translate well to touch. I have tried. Do yourself a favour and play it on PC.
Surprisingly enough Nethack is the reoguelike with the best Android ports.
You should try Deemo and Cytus. You just need to cough up dollar to unlock the full version.
They don't browse /v/ - they would play better games, or just be angry about them if they did instead of playing them. Read this though:
what the fuck can you emulate comfortably on android? You're either trying to play SNES with a fucking touch screen or you're using some controller peripheral that ruins the entire point of playing games on a portable mobile device.
JRPG's work fine enough on emulators, I beat Chrono Trigger on my phone without any trouble. As long as they don't require any sort of dexterity you can be fine.
Same goes for gameboy games
I cant speak for COC but in summoners war (stamina, RNG statwhoring turnbased combat game) there are chinese that just spend thousands on it. The game also has popups to buy something 3 times per day. They switch devices to get the popup more often.
Seriously those rich asian fucks have no sense of money. That is why P2W is so popular, since they cash in on those retards.
>both Google, and Apple has policies against offering money or items in Gambling games.
pretty sure at some point offering real money for virtual gambling was made illegal in America
>He thinks those "rich" fucks are spending money
>He doesn't know they just ask for refunds, and the devs don't remove their items
It's outdated, but it's the only list I can find.
>mfw I don't recieve an item
>mfw I ask the developer for a refund
>the developer tells me to contact Google, as they don't have the ability to issue refunds, as it went through Googles payments system
>I send them this link: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2741495?hl=en
>They tell me to never contact their support team again.
FUCKING ANDROID DEVELOPERS REEEEEEEEEE
>Lee stopped spending money on drinking roughly around the same time that he began playing Happy Kingdom, a Facebook game, with some friends. It was the first videogame he’d ever liked
how the fuck is this idiot making 6 figures and I'm not?
The dev's are not the ones who usually issue the refund.
Best answer right here.
Hoplite is also worth a look, especially if you're on a shitty phone.
I like this game, but I always lose because I mispress or I forgot about LOS.
They should do it so it warns you if you will take damage the next turn by doing an action. It would make things a lot more tactical and engaging
