supposedly it's capped at 60hz/60fps, so gg if you bought a monitor after the year 2000.
i imagine it'll do this anyway
also this doesn't happen in any previous bethesda game, good job bethesda!
yes you can, but the problem is that the engine doesn't do well when you go over 60fps. This is from the guy that's leaking this, I can't confirm it. but I do know that was a problem in skyrim.
Beth games may have a lot of bugs and shitty settings choices but typically the performance isn't that bad, most computers should be able to maintain the 60.
That being said I really wish developers would realize that even if you have a 60hz monitor being able to go above 60fps is very useful to prevent drops.
Even a good rig can suffer drops at 60fps if you suddenly have something suddenly performance heavy happen. Going over 60 acts like a buffer.
Like 100 fatmans exploding at once
Fair enough man, it's /v/ and shitposting is pretty much the norm especially for Fallout 4 threads. And yeah it's pretty shitty and retarded that they still tie physics with the framerate rather than having them independent with each other. But then again the code base of Fallout 4 is based off an internal Skyrim XB1 port.
The human eye can't see above 24 fps. Glorious Todd Howard in his infinite wisdom generously granted us an extra 36fps to show his benevolence.
Just as he allowed us to keep the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats to sate our inferior minds to ease us into the wonderful world of streamlining.
Know your place heretic.
There are shadows there, its just not very good.
I dont know what they did. It doesnt look, defined enough?
Like the shadows are not pronounced like you would expect. Its almost too uniform.
Did you expect anything else after Skyrim's UI?
Oh yeah and source.
Whether this means Fallout 4 will still have 3.1GB RAM limitations like Skyrim did I don't know.
>never at any point threatened by anything at all, despite presumably being low level and not even trying to defend himself
>just casually jogs away from every enemy
well we know who the target audience is now
>Also why did anyone expect it to run at higher than 60 fps.
because tying framerate to shit is retarded and fucking dated by years and years?
because even amateur shitty half assed games like dragon age inquisition can do 144fps?
because alot of pc gamers have monitors with hzs over 60 now, and having a game run at half the frames it could be just because of lazy as fuck programming is bullshit?
Have you ever played Skyrim without vsync? vertical mouse sensitivity is tied to fps. In a small room where you get 250fps it's 10 times higher than in a big outdoor scene where you only get 60fps.
FPS locks are there for a reason. Because the game engine is shit.
The game looks the same on consoles as it does on PC. Only with PC you get 30 more frames maybe depending on the optimization and dick girl mods.
