Yeah, but how else I'm I supposed to get replies?
So around the time for this game to be released, like a week out, just do what everyone else does. Have a thread running 24 hours for it
uh yeah.. the game is not even out yet you fucking dumbass. at least we'll get nude mods unlike you console peasants
your shit is about to be shared on /r/pcmasterrace. prepare to be laughed at by people of class, peasant scum
It's actually around 2.5 million sales now.
Well, I'll do just about anything for more content in DD
True, and most of those sales had to have been less than the normal $60 too.
The console already had a nude mod, anyone have that webm?
Great. Its a crime that it wasn't made with PCs in mind primarily, but I'd rather wait for an optimized port than deal with even worse framerate issues and bugs that are holding back a great game from being fucking stellar.
Should I get Tales of Zestria to tide me over until January, or continue to play my Mahou Shojou run in DA?
not really, the /vg/ fanbase was incredible with new users every day who would gladly shell out for a better release
we knew the game ran like garbage but it wasn't to the point of being unplayable so we looked past it instead of shitposting like a bunch of fucking children who only get on /v/ to throw their dirty diapers at other people because they can't have fun like other people
>DLC? If you defend this you're wrong.
It's like you don't know what it's like to have a favorite video game. I'm not talking about garbage like Call of Duty or Mass Effect that shells out shit on the daily.
I'm talking about a video game that resonates with your soul, like some stupid shit that makes you hear "Dragon's Dogma" and go "I got nothing bad to say about it"
So yeah, I'd go for more content if DLC came to be a thing, but I'm not talking about things like 100 different DLCs for cosmetic updates, weapons and abilities, then yeah.
>Thanks for beta testing!
YOU GOD DAMN FUCKING FAGGOTS ARE JUST NOW GETTING THE GAME, SOME BULLSHIT I REMEMBER WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT THAT NIGGERS SHITPOSTED ABOUT BEING SOME RAN DOWN GARBAGE JUICE AND NOW YOU WANT TO DRINK IT? PIC RELATED.
>he /vg/ fanbase was incredible
Yeah no, it was a massive circlejerk of people who have never read jackshit in their lives and think that this game's story was worthy of highly praised literature.
Never seen a bigger bunch of pretentious posers.
Yeah, you can't be that specific about it. It's fine as long as you find enough loli mages/sorcerers, which is incredibly easy.
Maybe I should, but it's so damn fun! Is Tales fun?
Let's go back, when I said incredible, you're obviously not thinking about the base of pawns everyone contributed to with the Excel style google drive that was created right?
What about the mass of how to's and stat calculations that was created and hosted in every /ddg/ thread?
I bet you didn't even notice the resurgence of new info that everyone shit over in dark arisen.
I'm not trying to insult you so don't get the wrong idea, but the lore isn't what I was talking about.
I do frequently anon, some games even older than that because time doesn't enter my definition of enjoyment or deterioration of enjoyed games.
>Speaking out of my ass: The post
From what little I actually saw of those threads, it was mostly WHY THE FUCK IS THE INNKEEPER MY BELOVED and HEY THE PAWN AI IS ACTUALLY KIND OF REALLY FUCKING NEAT AND YOU CAN MAKE IT MIMIC SO MANY OF YOUR STRATS IF YOU JUST LEARN HOW TO FUCK WITH IT.
Me too. More armor, clothing, weapons. More customization options in the already goat character creator.
I'm going to pass out if I keep thinking about it.
>HEY THE PAWN AI IS ACTUALLY KIND OF REALLY FUCKING NEAT AND YOU CAN MAKE IT MIMIC SO MANY OF YOUR STRATS IF YOU JUST LEARN HOW TO FUCK WITH IT.
Literally why I loved those threads.
Mine is a bit much but i hope they do a DMC fighting style. Assassin is fine but I would kill to have a Dante and Vergil vocation.
>base of pawns everyone contributed to with the Excel style google drive that was created right?
>What about the mass of how to's and stat calculations that was created and hosted in every /ddg/ thread?
>I bet you didn't even notice the resurgence of new info that everyone shit over in dark arisen.
Standard shit found in literally any online community ever, from every single other /vg/ thread to specific subreddits/forum sections in other games. It's not a unique or distinctive feat in the slightest, nor does it grants it a higher status than what is the average for online communities. It's not even a job of creation per se, but mostly of merely gathering the data everyone posted and assembling it one place.
One guy wrote a 90 page essay on bloodborne's theorycrafting. That alone is far more than any of this standard community effort.
Commendable acts, but, again, not worthy of distinctive mention nor does it actually relate to the attitudes of those who made it, specially when we have what >>315586434 has precisely pointed out.
>I'm not trying to insult you so don't get the wrong idea, but the lore isn't what I was talking about.
Well yeah, but I'm not talking about the lore as my end goal. It's only means to assert an end = that the fanboys of this series gathered at /vg/ are as blind as humanly possible, utterly incapable of discussing it in a rational manner and going as far as to pretend they are highly versed in literature to deflect criticism of this game's extremely flawed lore and story without actually being able to refute anything.
Hence why it's a shit community just as any other arrangement of blind fanboys. A community that only gathers its members around only so they can pat each other in the back is not a good community, but rather an obnoxious circlejerk of pretentious cunts.
That is all.
>at one point 23 people were playing this game
>you weren't one of those 23
>WHY THE FUCK IS THE INNKEEPER MY BELOVED
I'm still glad I lucked out and got Selene the first time I played.
I'm still mad she somehow turned into fucking MASTERWORKS ALL after I stabbed myself.
What I don't understand is why people keep talking about this character as if she was meaningful or anything. She just appears like twice or so just for a few minutes and everything involving this scene and everything behind it had the worst pacing I've ever seen in anything. You're just thrown in the middle of it without even knowing what is happening as if you were extremely late to the party and that's it.
This game's pacing is utterly terrible. Wish they'd have taken the effort to actually finish it with all the things they've left out because except combat, from world building to character development, is utter garbage.
>Youll never get an expansion with the cut moon content
Indeed, they think they're the ones helping the most in the best and most perfect way while the people who made the hugeass wiki, for example, are autists because that's different.
I absolutely despise communities where people are utterly unable to recognize simple flaws for example. People are so genuinely stupid that it still baffles me even though I should have gotten used to it by now. I wish everybody would learn that just because you like something, it doesn't mean you have to start doing some massive mental gymnastics until logic and reason break in half or take criticism of the thing as a personal insult. It's such a gigantic display of immaturity that is not benefitial to anybody and stiffles actual discussion in favor of an purposeless echo chamber.
Can you tell me the name of the quest so I can youtube it?
It's been like two years since I played this but all I remember is seeing the guy right beside the king and then the next thing you know I'm in that settlement and this cutscene rolls out and I'm like "wat"
Actually "wat" is a precise description of how I felt throughout the entire game until they uncerimoniously threw all the story at my face right in the very end.
>probably because she's more than likely to become your first beloved
I got the queen. I literally just talked to that fucking bitch once in that quest where the king wanted to strangle her and never again. Actually I was expecting I could fucking kill her for leading me to this POS of a situation but supposedly I loved her all this time.
I don't know what's got into the devs heads to design this romancing system because it was nothing short of atrocious.
There were at least two, the one where he goes to meet Jewtits and another where you meet one of the nobles at night time in the castle. Can't remember the names of the quests though.
>tfw imagining all the awesome mods we will get
>suddenly realize capcom would never release mod tools
>which means the mods will be closer to dark souls level then skyrim
No quest overhaul mods.
No combat mods.
No new area mods.
No different armor/bodies mods.
no sex mods
If it's like dark souls we'll get hacky shit like texture edits and the ability to edit stats and that's it.
This. Bitterblack Isle was DLC on the same caliber as Artorias of the Abyss, Brood War, Shivering Isles, and Lord of Destruction.
I will GLADLY pay for more Dragon's Dogma DLC to be made.
I've been gaming nearly exclusively on PC since I was like 8 years old.
Some of us are more interested in good gameplay than graphics and extreme FPS. 30 is functionally fine, 60 is just eyecandy
But he said that it wouldn't be crazy moddable at all, and be just as moddable as Dark Souls was , with "hacky shit like texture edits and the ability to edit stats and that's it."
>there are people who think this will actually sell
It's way too late to PC, by years even. And it's unpolished as fuck even without the performance issues. It doesn't have pvp, or any kind of multiplayer either, and literally nobody has actually heard of it. It'll just bomb again.
I have no idea why /ddg/ sucked so much cock sometimes, the actual faggots were more fun than the bitter shits trying to pass themselves off as lords of game mechanics. Some guy even posted a white board with math equations and we were supposed to be impressed.
Performance issues were the only thing people didn't like. A direct 1:1 conversion to the PC (with no FPS lock) is all people want. Even if the controls are complete ass, as long as you can use a controller natively, the game will have fixed the one and only issue anyone ever complained about.
>It'll just bomb again.
Wouldn't they not release a giant expansion for it if it bombed the first time? Wouldn't they also not later release it on other platforms if it bombed?
It'll "happen" as much as DMC4 modding did, which was a few reskins of Dante and Nero, and that's about it. And even then, the reskins were just fighting game palette swaps.
Believe me, I want it to happen.
If it wasn't a bomb, it would have been on PC from the start, not years later. They're triple dipping to recoup costs from this shit. And it's honestly hilarious as to how many people think it'll get any mods that are more complicated than mere texture swaps.
Oh god that would be fucking amazing.
Probably isn't going to happen though. I'm trying to manage expectations
There already is. There are already mods on the consoles.
No one is asking for anything other than reskins. Nobody. What are you on? If people can get proper HD texture replacements it will already be more than anyone is asking for.
>No one is asking for anything other than reskins. Nobody. What are you on?
I never said anybody was. What the fuck are you even asking about? It sounds like you misclicked your reply, it has so little to do with my post.
No. Me too.
I replaced DD with DD:DA like 3 days after buying it and realizing what I did Even went to youtube to listen to it, but it still wasn't that good
Coils of light is GOAT.
A lot of Japanese songs are getting pulled off of Youtube for some reason
I just found out that most of the Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo OSTs got pulled off of Youtube yesterday
I'm trying to curb my expectations to "standard port with a few issues" but i still get giddy as a schoolgirl whenever news pops up.
I am glad in the screenshots they have shown so far they have removed the grime and letterbox. I can't to see my favorite girl in Madeline again. Just hope the actually port isn't busted as fuck since Capcom is all over the place with their track record.
They need to post a fucking release date, I've got some vacation time to burn.
Trans Pacific Partnership.
You know, that one thing that had a clause that said "This shit is so unconstitutional and oppressive that we are going to make it so it is legit unlawful for anyone to amend it for any reason"
The one that was written up in secret (yeah, a trade agreement in secret, not national defense shit, not CIA experiments, just a trade agreement)
The one that says the government has a right to fuck you in the ass if it even thinks you are violating copyrights from any country east or west of the pacific.
>This video contains content from Being Inc.. It is not available in your country.
USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA
i listened to this just now but it isn't cleaaaaaan
Dumb Daimon poster.
I got jewtits. In fact, I have never gotten anyone but jewtits. There's no escaping her.
OniAi. It was a fun ride, but since it's a harem show, it goes nowhere. The only real development happens with one of the final lines of the show, and even then, it's established that the protagonist never plans to reveal it, so it means nothing.
>Get stuck with the slutty princess on the first go
I won't make the same mistake this time around.
I went with the "princess" type the first time around for sheer thematic reasons.
The second time, though, you bet your bouncy ass that Madeleine started glowing pink the second I escorted her to the camp.
>mfw they removed Into Free from Dark Arison
It just wasn't the same.
As someone that started with Dark Arisen, I was content.
But upset that it was taken away entirely.
She tries to seduce you, then has you thrown in the dungeon when she fucks up, then tries to beg for your forgiveness.
Nah, fuck that.
It's still a dick move.
I went up there to talk to her about dragons, then she tried to eat my dragon and the duke threw me in the dungeon and tortured me for a few days.
Hell, she never even tried to fuck again after that unless you get her as your beloved.
>BBI was amazing
It wasn't. I love DD and even enjoyed BBI, but it was nowhere near AotA or Brood War (seriously, Brood War on the same tier as BBI?). 60% of BBI was rehashed dungeon rooms
Problem is her quest crops up proper early and it turned out a lot of people missed the qualifying quest early on. Near enough every major love interest has a quest later that'll max affinity and remove them from the map.
Oh, well, then I'm wrong.
>Did you even try to play the game or did you just do the quests that were spoonfed?
I played the shit out of that game. I just don't waste my time on literal worst girl.
>complaining about spoonfeeding
>when discussing the spoonfed love interest that's almost guaranteed a pink glow
DD was repetitive same environment same monsters same strategies same everything. Here are all these tools you can use. You need to use exactly zero of them because it would be stupid financially to use them, or because they are completely unnecessary if they are not something that simply lets you kill trash mobs faster.
BBI was incredible. Mostly new enemies or at least ones with new abilities. Debuffs actually matter. Things like dousing enemies in oil can actually help a lot. "Trash mobs" had dangerous debuffs rather than annoying ones. Using expensive things like blast arrows and periapts is not just viable but in some cases required, and they are much more economically viable now. New bosses are actually hard, especially their harder versions which can 2hit you and/or fight in pairs. Things like the Living Armors made you completely rework how you approached the levels. Hitting enemies' weak points ceased to be a method of speeding up repetitive fights and started being your goal if you didn't want to get decimated when fighting 3 gorecyclops at once. The new loot gave you something excellent to strive for, the list goes on. It fixed most of the things lacking in the original game and packed them all together densely in a mega dungeon. Most of all it added a real sense of danger to the game.
It was an experience that added as much fun as any of those others mentioned.
>She tries to seduce you,
She falls in love with you, and asks you to come to her chambers. That's hardly seduction.
>then has you thrown in the dungeon when she fucks up,
Gee, I wonder why she would lie to the Duke about the true intentions of the meeting
It's not like you there was about to adultery was a major crime in medieval times.
Even less so when it involves a ruler of a small duchy.
Are you retarded by chance?
Maybe it wasn't as physically huge as those other games but it was just as much fun. You know, that thing video games aim for. AotA was just a rehash of the darkroot forest. Big empty nothing with enemies dropped every so many meters. The weapons were mostly useless shit. So were the armors. The only good bossfight that didn't just copypaste aspects of previous bossfights was Artorias. It was still a lot of fun though.
>She falls in love with you, and asks you to come to her chambers. That's hardly seduction.
She brings you there to FUCK YOU. That is seduction. It also shows that she's quick to fawn over a dude in a party hat.
>Gee, I wonder why she would lie to the Duke about the true intentions of the meeting
>It's not like you there was about to adultery was a major crime in medieval times.
That doesn't make having me tortured for her error okay. You honestly sound like an abused housewife
>h-he had a reason to hit me. I err'd, not him. never him
Round two enemies are a fright too if you go in blind. More so if they do an alternate spawn on a quick chest run just when you thought you had things figured out. Death by that point can spawn anywhere as well so you're on your toes through most of the BBI experience as a whole.
It's a common trope in medieval fiction for the noble women to fall for men of common birthplace, she says so in the first bloody scene you meet her.
And even goes on about how ashamed she is that you might think of her as a harlot, everything regarding her background puts her and the Arisen unto a romantic path.
What exactly did you think was going to happen when you went up there at night? Are you completely dull?
>That doesn't make having me tortured for her error okay.
Yes, she should have rather said the truth and gotten you both hanged.
I fail to comprehend how anyone thinks the duchess means meant any ill-will towards the Arisen, when she prevented far worse from happening.
>It's a common trope in medieval fiction for the noble women to fall for men of common birthplace, she says so in the first bloody scene you meet her.
That doesn't mean it's good writing, or that she's any less of a slut.
>What exactly did you think was going to happen when you went up there at night? Are you completely dull?
Oh, I knew what was going to happen. Doesn't mean she still didn't lie about passing information to fight dragons with.
>Yes, she should have rather said the truth and gotten you both hanged.
She should've not put either of us in that position in the first place.
>I fail to comprehend how anyone thinks the duchess means meant any ill-will towards the Arisen, when she prevented far worse from happening.
Nobody ever said she meant ill will, stupid. And the "far worse" only happened because of her. It's like that episode of Jimmy Newtron where everyone cheers for Jimmy after he saves the day, then Cindy points out that everyone was only ever in danger because of him. She deserves no praise at all.
>She should've not put either of us in that position in the first place.
You didn't had to talk to her in the first place.
You didn't had to break into the duke castle at night.
You didn't had to save her from the duke.
If you didn't got involved, none of this would have happen.
Her romance was absolute shit tier but it's clearly the "rescue the princess, plough that shit like a farmer" element to the archetypal medieval fantasy Dragon's Dogma presents itself as on the surface. For that, I can give a pass and even look at the shallowness as intentional.
Also if you do it all and still end up with someone else, it just looks like your Arisen is only in it for the poon.
>or that she's any less of a slut.
Please do tell me how the romance between the Arisen and her makes her a slut.
>Doesn't mean she still didn't lie about passing information to fight dragons with.
What, pretty sure that Mirabelle simply told you that she simply wanted to see you.
>She should've not put either of us in that position in the first place.
Sure, you could have simply done the right thing in your mind and not have gone up that tower. You put yourself in that situation as well.
>And the "far worse" only happened because of her.
No, the "far worse" would have ended with the both of you most likely killed, if she hadn't quickly gotten the guards to escort you away from the guy who, just recently, was in delirium and about to strangle a bitch.
Then that would leave her character as just a horny slut, at best.
I get what they're going for, but she's just one of the worst ones I've ever seen. The only thing vaguely interesting about her character is the Duke trying to kill her in a mad rage, and that's more of a thing about the Duke than her. She was just the newest one he grabbed.
You can't go wrong.
>Please do tell me how the romance between the Arisen and her makes her a slut.
Literally falls for you at first sight just after her marriage, then tries to fuck you that night. She doesn't even know your first name.
>What, pretty sure that Mirabelle simply told you that she simply wanted to see you.
Her maid talked about how she had info regarding the Wyrm Hunt.
>Sure, you could have simply done the right thing in your mind and not have gone up that tower. You put yourself in that situation as well.
The plot of the game is the Wyrm Hunt. I went up there for the info. You actually do so little other than stand there once you arrive, that your pantomime actions could be taken as either "you tried to fuck her", "you tried to spaghetti your way out", or "you tried to just get the info."
>No, the "far worse" would have ended with the both of you most likely killed
I know that, stupid. But there wouldn't be a "far worse" if she hadn't tried to fuck me in the first place. If she whipped out a map beforehand and made it look like she was actually trying to help me instead of fuck me, I wouldn't have needed saving.
Wait a second here.
Can anyone be your beloved?
Even the little girls?
Please respond. This is quite important
At least masterworks will aid your adventuring, japes just gets you laughed at.
I'm actually sure I remember dressed up npc dialogue practically saying she is horny, can't remember who said it though but I'm sure they were in the castle.
>Then that would leave her character as just a horny slut, at best.
Tell me anon, are you the guy who hate jewtits because she may have fucked a lot of dude, therefore she's isn't pure?
Seriously, you sound like him.
No, I went for jewtits my second time through. She ain't married, though. And unless you're in NG+, it takes a while to win her over. You pretty much have to shove consumables down her throat or do her whole questline.
Yes. I ended up with that stupid fucking little brat you walk around town, because on my first run I didn't give two shits about romancing NPCs and I didn't know it would matter.
Off the top of my head, I don't remember there being any other little girls in the game though, other than her.
>First time playing through DD
>Meet princess for the first time
>Hit it off, okay sure, no surprise there
>She wants me to meet her in her private chambers
>fully expect her to give me some kind of amazing quest, like she lost her prized amulet or some shit and doesn't want the Duke to find out
>make it there, can't wait to go on another grand adventure
>mfw she actually just wants to bone
She falls for you after an arranged marriage, to a 80year old guy a in a foreign land, spending her time in a court consisting mostly of stuck-up nobles.
And the Arisen apparently cares for if his/her behaviour in the cutscene is anything to go by.
>If she whipped out a map beforehand and made it look like she was actually trying to help me instead of fuck me, I wouldn't have needed saving.
Yes, you would. Since you were trespassing.
Thanks. Sounds like a harsh system but I can see the potential.
>Can anyone be your beloved?
Assume so, I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that isn't.
>Even the little girls?
Think Fournival's shit of a daughter is romanceable, seen it mentioned enough times over the years that it's probably true.
Selene is a loli and she's a main love interest. Even if she isn't your beloved by the end, she'll live in your house with your actual waifu if you do the quest so just imagine cloudwine fueled threesomes.
I never got why people were upset over not having the eternal ferrystone. The crystal at gran soren and cassardis always have a free ferrystone next to them. Just shove two on your pawns, and makes sure to grab those whenever you drop by.
>And the Arisen apparently cares for if his/her behaviour in the cutscene is anything to go by.
Their actions are intentionally left neutral.
>Yes, you would. Since you were trespassing.
I think the fucking duchess has enough say to not have me thrown in the dungeon when under her not-horny supervision.
>Not already having a notepad of your favourite creations
Mute this and watch
>Hand on her shoulder in a comforting way
>I think the fucking duchess has enough say to not have me thrown in the dungeon when under her not-horny supervision.
Oh yeah, just let the guy who just snuck into the castle, and into the duchess bed-chaimbers go free, Duke-dono.
We didn't do nothing, just let him go.
This always drove me nuts. Arisen's Bond should lock who it is. Drives me fucking up a wall that you have to basically tunnel to endgame after Mercedes takes off or you can't get her. Have to skip several quests, among other things. Its stupid. I hope some people can mod that in on the PC version. Would playtrhough for that ALONE.
Do you want your graphic card to melt a hole through your floor, anon?
>mfw I have a PS3 but still going to wait for superior PC version
Your intentions are pretty meaningless in this case, mate.
Fact is you snuck into the castle
Fact is you went to the duchess chambers with no one else but her maiden knowing about it
Fact is that her entire interactions with you from the get-go is romantic in nature
Fact is that the guy who can very well have you executed on the spot for the smallest transgression
the guy who is know for 'slaying" a dragon
who just a few seconds ago was strangling the chick in his delirium
is rather pissed at seeing you in the chambers of his wife, at night
So the Duchess does the smart thing, takes control of the situation and claims that you mistook kindness for love and went to her without her knowledge
Turning the situation into something far less severe then straight on cheating.
I don't see what new AI they'd have to make. I'm pretty sure the reason why they didn't include hybrid classes the first time around was due in large part of framerate issues. A pair of magic cannons or ricochet hunters coupled with healing and status effects would've caused consoles to reach unplayable framerates.
>How does her stopping the Duke from having you killed for kekolding him make her a not-shit person
You know, mate.
If you're too socially inept to read into a persons (easily known) actions, and intentions then you have no one but yourself to blame when you get burned by being to dull of a person.
>playing new game+
>get hauled off to the dungeon anyway
I could have torn all of their fucking heads off and drank their blood, dammit I hate disparity in power between gameplay and cutscenes
>projecting this hard to try and make a point
We already established I knew everything. It doesn't make her any less shit for trying to cheat on her husband, permit you to trespass, lie about having information on the wyrm, and having the only hope of the dukedom tortured because of her own errors. You're not saying anything at this point except for spelling errors because you are "to dull of a person."
The point is that while she is shit, through her improv the punishment for the both of you was reduced. Best thing to do after that would be ignoring her further quest and hoping that the game let you shit on the Duke. The latter of which is mandatory, the former optional.
All in all, you're roped into it if you play normally. There's no need to continue interactions with her character afterwards though. Even better, ignoring the later quest is a bad end for her so that would be better for you.
Son, Gran Soren guards are like The Elder Scroll guards after snorting a mountain of speed.
Before you could even finish swinging your sword twice, one would have run up to you and opened up the dialogue box.
They are in-escapable.
Dark Arisen was sold at ye olde expansion pack price. While I disagree with mandatory rebuys for the whole fucking thing, if it's expansion cost on release then it's actually a gain.
The only thing that you established is that you're too butthurt about someone saving your ass, by lying.
You can claim that you simply went up there for information on the wyrmhunt all you want, it really would only further prove my point of you being dull for not
>Realizing the romantic subplot
>Realizing that she lied to save you
>Realizing that the entire situation regarding her marriage is fucked
Brace for quests in the last half taking characters you want off the map. If it happens, just beat the everloving fuck out of anyone that wants the D until the one you want is the last by default.
There shouldn't have been the need for saving.
>it really would only further prove my point of you being dull for not
I already told you I knew she wanted to fuck, but that doesn't mean I can't go there for the info then not fuck her because lawful good.
You know what? I just realized why I don't like Aelinore and her quests: because she's a Bioware romance subplot shoved into Dragon's Dogma.
Its a question of whether or not Capcom linked important gameplay systems to the framerate like many nip developers do. If they didn't, even if the game isn't 60+ fps on launch people will quickly mod it to be.
I fail to comprehend as to how you proceed up there thinking that she is going to share info with you, at night.
Seriously, explain to me how you go up there thinking it was about anything other than love, considering everything surrounding your entire relationship with her up to that point.
>they just rip the outfits from DMC4SE
>thinking that just because there's a woman there, sex has to be involved, no matter what
Reminder this is a game where you can play as a 6 year old girl. And she'll try to fuck that 6 year old girl.
>every interaction with her beforehand.
You mean the exactly one time she says hi, then disappears until you visit her at night?
Where all she does is blush and remove the party hat?
Gosh anon, Sword/Bow Assassin is a thing you know!
>The notion of people falling for each-other at first sight is equal to being a horny slut
>tfw not available in my region
well time to pirate I guess
I wonder why a girl wouldn't care about her husband in an arranged marriage.
I wonder why she never says your name as well, might have something to do with you being able to name yourself how you wish.
That seems a little far fetched though.
This desu >>315601729
Nevermind them clearly showing more soul than most of the npcs
Only because Arisens are like meth cut with heroin rolled in cocaine to Pawns. They can't do or think anything beyond doing anything you say and an insatiable need to be near you.
Your defends equates to defaming her as horny, disregarding everything surrounding her situation.
I chalk it due to me not immediately triggering her quest and spending a long time wandering the lands before going back to the castle, hence it feeling a bit more natural.
I give to you though, I find that it should have taken some until she invites you and I find that the reason why everything happens so fast due to the development time being too short to make a meaningful romance plot.
Hence it feeling to rushed, personally I can see why you see her as a slut, but no matter how I look at it, the situation of her in the court, as well as her pretty much only lusting after you, as well as the romantic nature of it all is reason enough for me to look past her cheating on her husband who quite clearly does not give a fuck about her.
>disregarding everything surrounding her situation.
The situation is that she is horny. That's not even defaming. That's just a straight fact. If you take that as a negative, then that's on you. But the whole situation is that she saw something she wanted to fuck, and got it fucked by a whip in a non-kinky way.
I was really happy with DA making the top tier weapons so incredibly strong I didn't have to worry about base stats while leveling. That annoyed the shit out of me in the base game.
>Love equals to being horny.
It's more about how you seem to think that her trying to spend some with the person she fell in love with is somehow bad.
Why do you equate being in love, with being horny?
>Downpoor Valley or even Hailstorm Valley as a Ranger
>Why do you equate being in love, with being horny?
Because, as said before, she doesn't care about the person, just the fuck. She wants something inside of her vagina, not inside her heart.
Assassin is best class, to the point of being nerfed in DA. Even then it's still overpowered in its own way and can use anything aside from longbows and staves, with unique abilities from each.
Most go daggers/bow for utility, sanic buff (can speed about the map even), counters (best in the game), grab skills and cancelling. Shield is decent too though due to flying about with the parry and a buff that increases damage at the cost of defence. Sword isn't used much but is good too with a nonbroken parry, grab skill that ignores shaking and that spin attack with I-frames
Just a good class really, with passives that let you get even stronger at night or without pawns.
Her words, her deeds in saving you from harsher punishment, her gifting you one of the rarest items in the game, her relationship with the Duke and court, Mirabelle sharing Aelinores opinion of you, as well as the entire affection mechanic of the game.
Are shallow and have next to nothing to do with you as a person.
>her deeds in saving you from harsher punishment
Which was her fault in the first place.
>her gifting you one of the rarest items in the game
Almost every NPC with a questline does this.
>her relationship with the Duke and court
Has nothing to do with anything.
>Mirabelle sharing Aelinores opinion of you
This somehow makes Aelinore not a horny slut?
>as well as the entire affection mechanic of the game.
Which applies to every NPC, so it means nothing, really. Hell, since she's a guaranteed romance just from meeting her, that actually means less.
To add to this, from capcom's site
>The hero’s marriage was heartily welcomed by the people of Gransys. Everyone believed that it meant the birth of a successor would follow quickly after, carrying on their hero’s bloodline. But there would be no reports of an impending heir to hearten the people of Gransys. Even after the exchange of their marriage vows, Aelinore remained as pure and untouched as she was the day that she was delivered to Edmun. But behind the duke’s frigid demeanor, a dark secret is hidden within his heart...
>with blast errors
Looks like you
missed the mark
>Are shallow and have next to nothing to do with you as a person.
Words directed at about the situation at hand have nothing to do with you?
>Which was her fault in the first place.
And she averted worse, and tries to make it up to you
>Almost every NPC with a questline does this.
It's almost like it's a form of affection, on top of this item being pretty 1 of the 2 ways that you can get it
>Has nothing to do with anything.
Yes, it does considering its what causes the entirety of her being even inclined to fall for you due to the Duke neglecting her
>This somehow makes Aelinore not a horny slut?
Considering that it further strengthens her being lonely, and frightened and now finally finding someone who is not a stuck-up nobleman, yes, yes it does not make her slut, since the relationship between her and the duke is utterly meaningless and devoid of any sort of emotion whatsoever.
Every mob in DD is photogenic as hell, they are some of the most endearing and expressive mobs I have ever seen in games.
You ever saw the Chimera trying to catch a Snow Harpie near the Hillfigure Knoll? Fucking adorable
>her being lonely, and frightened
she is definitely frightened since the duke had like 2-3 other wives that mysteriously perished
and we do know the duke has gone mad that the fact he chose to sacrifice his lover for that
only when she is being choked does she fully realize how terrifying it is to be his duchess
The Duke screams "Lenore" as he's choking her. I thought that she might have been Aelinores sister since her names are so alike. So her being deathly frightened of him could very well be due to that, it would explain as to why he avoids her.
if we're talking about the duke's lover that was sacrificed then it would make more sense to say that this "lenore" would be closer to her Grandmother/mother considering the duke's age actual age of like 80
>pre-order this game you've bought TWICE ALREADY for special rewards
I fucking hate everything.
That sounds plausible, would explain as to why she doesn't talk about it too.
I'd do it if I had disposable income, I feel like a battered housewife.
It'll be my fourth time. At least this time I don't have to buy another xbox.
I hope they add something to
make the game fun. It just doesn't feel good to play.
>implying Dragon's Dogma ran well on either platform
I'm not saying it ran well on the consoles however the engine DMC4 was on made the game super optimized on PC. I doubt DD will have the same issues the RE4 port had because of that.
I had that situation in the Everfall in that room with the two black cockatrices.
>standing in the sigil near the cannons
>one of them lands
>while the other breathes their shit in my face
>got knocked down by the other one
It took me like a minute to get back up because everything ran at like 1 FPS.
>where is lock on
>how the fuck do I unflood watergod altar
>how do I kill the drake
>BBI is bullshit
>why the fuck is Fournival my beloved
>is there a trainer/CE table for this game yet?
You know PKeks are gonna ruin the fuck out of it.
There's something so satisfying about tanking the framerate with OP spells and abilities all over the screen in Dragon's Dogma. I'm gonna miss that. Kind of like EDF 2025 to EDF 4.1, where the framerate rarely drops from 60.
Or maybe I won't have to, considering how bad ports often are
I'm a PC gamer who bought a console 80% just to play Dragon's Dogma. I did none of these things. Your kind might have done all that shit when they started but not mine. Get rekt pleb.
Yeah, we're gonna see how good my 780 will hold up in January.
I think it looks like that one pokemon. Filename should be "Name that Pokemon."
Won't be that bad, Dark Souls is the big PC shitter example but that only got so infamous because the general ventured out of the /vg/ hugbox to discuss pc DaS and got typical /v/. The asspain was so supreme it became a meme.
The Dragon's Dogma general has been ded for quite a bit and the community is usually helpful, so it won't be like two communities clashing again.
The plural of LEGO is LEGO. The singular of LEGO is frequently 'LEGO brick' or similar, but the general concept of LEGO can be referred to as LEGO. Like how you could say "when you step on rocks" without meaning multiple rocks, but the act of stepping on a rock as it could be repeated with any given rock.
>Like how you could say "when you step on rocks" without meaning multiple rocks
No one does this, you'd say "when you step on a rock."
Besides, it doesn't matter that the plural form of Lego is Lego, you'd still say "a Lego" in order to denote a single Lego. Otherwise how would one know you simply stepped on a single Lego rather than a pile of Lego?
So autistic manchildren now own the company? This is hilarious, who the hell cares?
True, but it still denotes rocks as a general category. If you were to say, "it hurts when you step on a rock," it is still grammatically sound you ignorant clod.
I never argued that it wouldn't be, you're the one who was claiming that "rocks" in that sentence would imply stepping on multiple rocks at once, which it COULD, but it clearly wouldn't be the natural interpretation. The difference between the two sentences is in their temporal implication, where "it hurts when you step on rocks" has no specific timeframe and sounds like a statement of fact whereas "it hurts when you step on a rock" carries the connotation of a learned lesson.
Not that I'd expect you to pick up on subtlety to that level, considering you can't even stomach calling Lego "Lego" rather than "Legos" (which they aren't).
Copyright lawyer here, it's basically so that the name of their brand does not fall into common use, because the protections its afforded particularly in trademark law is considerably weakened. In basic terms, there has to be an association between your product and the trademark. It's not uncommon to hear people refer to other blocks made by different companies as 'legos' and the insistence to 'keep it special' is purely so that isn't the case and Lego purely remains a registered trademark and receives all the protections afforded to it.
Google has had the same problem but on a more substantial level, and hate the use of the verb 'googling' for similar reasons, particularly as it is often used interchangeably with other search engines or search functions.
TLDR: Not autistic manchildren, it's for legal reasons to do with protections from trademark infringement
Ah, in that case it makes sense. Still, it seems rather futile in attempt. People are going to use whatever terms they please, and a small blurb on their website isn't going to change that.
Only in the expansion. In the main game you just need to follow the quests or occasionally go on your own adventures. You will find hard enemies at the beginning which may make it seem like you need to grind, but sometimes it's just a region you shouldn't really be, you can still beat them through getting good or just run past them.
Absolutely agree anon. Same goes with Google.
They've issued cease and desists before and made public messages to say that you should only use the word 'Google' and specifically in reference to the Google search engine.
I think it's obvious how little success they've had with that one.
Copyright does not subsist in your penis. Your penis is not recognized in the Copyright Act.
But with the recent stuff to do with patents and medical cells, it'll probably be covered by other intellectual property law areas in due time, but unfortunately patents is not my expertise.
It's called hit-stop, done intentionally to highlight how hard your hit is.
It's all over the place in DD and especially Monster Hunter. Nothing more satisfying than smacking two large monsters with your fully-charged GS swing and being stuck in place as the games goes "Dam son you cool"
I feel this comparison is slightly unfair. Not that I disagree with the overall sentiment, as DD's magic is unbelievably satisfying, but both Skyrim and Dark Souls had more enjoyable spells than basic fireball and crystal spear.
Skyrim honestly doesn't go much further up, though being able to shoot fire out of one hand and lightning out of the other was pretty fun.
Dark Souls has all sorts of fun things, like most of the pyromancies, lightning spears, gravelord blades, and some interesting status effect ones like Tranquil Walk of Peace and Power Within.
Dragon's Dogma's magic is really impressive, and very fun to use, but most of it is just elemental damage stuff. I could never seem to use anything like the silence, sleep or drawing-in spell for anything actually useful (I might just be using them wrong).
I did play my entire first playthrough as a greatsword loli so that might've tainted my opinion.
