ITT:animals that would make good vidya monsters
I'm monitoring, but don't want to click on anything
I'm actually gonna add these to my "game"
>tfw i'm one of like 5 people who remembers impossible creatures
Haha, that's a funny shop
Oh god tell me it's a shop
Reminds me of this.
Someone was spreading it around claiming it was an unused Bloodborne enemy, though for all we know it was just some from guy's Deviant Art.
>doesn't even bite off the tail but instead rips the skin and flesh from the bone
Still not clear on how something like this can really exist
I'm curious how deadly would one million lions really be?
Like what is the species' greatest accomplishments
Take him to court, they have evidence.
>it has teeth even in the throat
Was Lucifer the designer of this one or God just felt like "Ok, I don't know where should I put all of these extra teeth I made; I'm gonna hide them in this creature, nobody will ever know, anyway.".
Just wondering, but do animals even grieve at all for any of their lost kin? I binged on watching some videos of nature and shit for whatever reason, and it always seems like mothers just freak out for a moment when they lose a child, and then go back to normal shortly afterwards. Do they instantly chalk it up as a loss and move on with life or what?
Bearded vultures a best.
pachyderms (elephants) establish graveyards, known to grieve for their dead and also remember who or what killed them.
if a ivory collector slaughters a pachyderm and returns to his village there have been occasions where elephants will find and destroy the village if small enough.
oh, so this is ok then?
Dogs don't grieve like how elephants do but they realize when someone they know who they're used to being around is going. They can tell between gone for a while and... gone...
Well, it's a muscly cat the size of a motherfucking motorcycle.
So there's that.
most animals don't, although some will hold on to their dead kids and try for days to take care of them for days before finally letting the truth seep in.
Some penguin moms also steal others kids cause they still have their maternal instincts kicking in.
Believe it or not but Raven do care forbthier kin, or at least their mate parthers, they basically stay togther for the rest of their lives and if one dies, the other goes insanely depressed and usually end up dying for no eating.
Only it's not. It's running straight the fuck through the snow like it's not even there. That's a hell of a lot scarier than if it were gliding atop the snow like a graceful little elf, but mother nature's fucking monster truck just doesn't care.
Not sure if tigers mourn their kin, but they do take revenge. Read a story once about a tigress mother that got her kill stolen by a crocodile. She then hunted the crocodile and killed it. Didn't eat it, just killed it.
Don't fuck with mothers.
Only if your games protagonist is a spider.
Those spiders have heads like that specifically to keep their spider prey away from their body, because they don't have immunity to their venom.
absolutely useless for other prey items.
Probably. Fish are kinda stupid. Their whole existence is swim, eat, mate. That's about all that's going on up there.
If anything, it's just thinking "I should be moving. I'm not moving. I should be moving", not in a panic mind you, just a loop of it's fishy logic.
If I recall, mammals, specific marine life, and birds are the only ones that have been proven to be capable of complex emotion. Could be wrong on that though.
who knows, anon
fuck man this shit is so scary, i remember hearing about some bug that attaches itself similarly to a caterpillar cocoon and warps it psychologically to forgo it's own development and life and protect the parasite's larvae by spazzing out violently.
Fucking christ that thing creeps me out.
Probably. Humans are kinda stupid. Their whole existence is work, eat, mate. That's about all that's going on up there.
If anything, it's just thinking "I should be moving. I'm not moving. I should be moving", not in a panic mind you, just a loop of it's human logic.
You made me depress myself ya fuccboi
>tfw they won't be around in 50 years because some fuckers in China seriously believe that they need the ivory to cure diseases
I fucking hate everything
God bless red pandas.
No seriously look at these fucking things. they needs all the help they can get
I know I shouldn't laugh, but Jesus Christ.
>So this is the power of freedom.. Not bad
That rabbits got a vicious streak a mile wide!
Fun fact: Bread is actually bad for birds and ducks. They cant digest it.
Only we humans as a species so far have proven capable to have existential thoughts and actions. Whales and Elephants and some apes are so far the only other creatures to exhibit similar behaviors, but at the same time their brains are not developed enough to really process and display the kind of emotion it may be feeling. this is all theoretical so far though as scientists are still trying to make sense of how other intelligent animals brains work. shit aint easy.
wasps and hornets are GOAT though
they don't pretend with any of that pussy shit like getting tattooed above white girls' asses. murder is what they do and they do it well.
Took me a second to realize that the stuffed animal has a hole cut through its face and there's a dog sticking his nose through it.
>tfw Darwin beetles participate in a tournament gauntlet of wrestling matches for a chance to mate with a female at the top of a tree.
But you're the one presenting a messed up argument.
Humans are very smart as far as animals go, and their brains in specific allow for a lot of shit that other animals can't have.
For example, you being depressed right now. A fish can't be depressed, it doesn't even know what happiness is to start with. As far as I recall, the same goes for most reptiles and amphibians. The point is that they don't experience complex emotions like we do and just react to stimuli via their instinctual concepts.
Monkeys, pets, birds, dolphins, and many other animals still have that capacity for complex emotions, but certain ones just don't have it in their brains.
Been awhile since I saw something like this outside of /b/
>shit aint easy.
>live and work with chimps for most of your life
>walk away telling everyone else to stay the fuck away from those assholes
Animals are lucky many of us aren't willing to wipe more of them out
I need to reinstall it and find the free DLC given out which allowed you to use insects.
Sperm Whale + Elephant = Ultimate Tank.
Giraffe + Hawk = Ultimate Scout
I can't remember the best range unit, but Porcupines were fun on Cheetahs as you could get them into battle quickly and pullback if stuff could overwhelm them.
Nor can I remember the best melee/assault unit. I think it was Tiger + Rhino or something like that. Either Tiger head + Rhino Body or Rhino Head + Tiger Body.
FUCK WHY ISN'T THERE ANY RTS LIKE THIS ANY MORE?
I even spent £15 on Paraworld 2nd hand just to say I have the disc. I don't think it works on Win7, but I'll give it an install one day.
Nothing's funnier than animals fucking up
