Downloading World of Warcraft 3.3.5a + Single Player Project Real (for offline playing). What I'm in for ? I've never played WoW before.
Pick any official server with low population and close the chat frame.
>mmo with no social interaction
What is this, fucking tumblr? Afraid you'll be raped every time somebody asks you where the auction house is?
Everything that makes the game fun. Early WoW was all about supporting and building relationahips between people. If you remove the people you just have a mind numbingly tedious and unfulfilled experience.
>besides the entire game, what am i missing out?
What you're trying to do is like playing dota or CS:GO with no one else in the game. Except it's arguably worse because the entire experience is balanced around the idea of large groups of people working together.
I hope this whole thread is one person.
This is the most shit bait I've ever seen.
With 10 friends would be enough ? I was reading about the config in this project, I can run the private server and up to 500 players on my PC (this pack limit is 500, but I guess my Ram would limit this number to much less)
Or just go on nostalrius with those friends or another bc/lk server
Trust us wow players are famous for being antisocial shut in neckbeards and still even us of all people enjoyed playing wow because of the social aspect of it.
The only good thing about WoW was playing when everyone were still clueless about the game and the world, so they actually had to get together to get shit done and as a result each server had its own tightly knit communities.
But even the game now won't allow this with all the cross-server interface doing everything for you
Can this be the continuation of the comfy MoP thread?
leveling from 1 to 100 is basically a single player game anyways, who cares
I made a new character recently, got from like 5 to 20 without seeing a single other person
Games fucking dead right now
Because doing the same dungeon over and over with 4 people who might as well be robots isn't very fun.
Plus maybe it's just me having bad luck, but the few dungeons I did do I had at least two people rolling need on EVERYTHING, and I never got a single decent item out of them.
When I played earlier this year I didnt touch dungeons because they somehow managed to make them easier than they were during wotlk.
It doesnt help that pve is boring just by being what it is
It's especially bad because I was leveling a Rogue without heirlooms and was losing roles for leather to Mages and shit with entire sets of it who probably have tens of thousands of gold.
It's like stealing food from the homeless when you're a millionaire, and it's food you're allergic to.
>only in capitals
>half a dozen
That's the definition of a dead game
On Nostalrius you'd see more than a hundreda just in the barrens, like you're supposed to in a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online rpg
Offline!? whats wrong with you, the only way you can immerse yourself into the story is to play online.
Look, look I got an idea. What if we merge all the servers into one mega server? Hey I'll even throw in a vanilla server. Just don't unsubscribe, I'll even make the naga a neutral race.
Why is it that everything Blizz adds to the game requires you to have less and less interactions with other players? You can literally raid and do dungeons all day long without saying a single word. You can do pretty much everything else by just staying in your garrison.
Pandaren Rogue, taking advantage of the FTP till 20 until I feel like resubbing again maybe around when Legion comes out.
Leveled in the North Barrens, Silverpine Forrest, Azshara and didn't see a single other person in the zone, wasn't till I went over to Ashenvale Forrest that I saw anyone, and it was some Alliance Hunter dude who looked like a Blood Elf for some reason.
This is all on a Medium Pop PvP server, about a month ago.
>MFW I love metzen posting because everything posted with him is probably true
>MFW metzen is falling apart
Just imagining orgrimmar completely empty is depressing. Theres always someone there and that felt nice. Hell when i played esrlier this year and kept going through shattrath for tbc transmog shit, seeing it empty and remembering how busy it was back in the day, always made me pretty sad.
You often need to communicate more if you're healing or tanking. Most of the time you won't get a reply though so I'm not sure if that counts as communication.
You can't raid without communicating unless you mean LFR which isn't raiding.
