Settlement locations you dont claim get taken over by a random faction, with their own style of buildings/weapons/items/ect. They send out parties to attack other factions bases and your own, find them scavenging, fighting ect
Able to set up diplomatic relationships with them. Sending them supplies, setting up trade routes, protecting yours and their trade routes, attacking people they hate to improve relations or losing relations for attacking their people. Being able to orchestrate joint operations and attacks on other factions.
New dialog system Better interface based on Fallouts 1 and 2 ENB equivalent for graphics harder difficulty and survival mode more difficult crafting No essential characters Total overhaul of the plot, characters, and setting Alternate character voices Vastly larger map with more space between locations
Basically I want a total conversion. Fallout New Vegas modding has convinced me that both Obsidian and Fallout fans can make a better fallout than Bethesda.
>>315609238 If it's not good without mods, don't play it. It's pretty simple, there are plenty of other games to play. >>315609256 I'm just being honest. It's like the kid who wouldn't play a shooter without infinite health. He didn't really play the game because he didn't experience it the way it was meant to be played.
>>315609668 >i'll make sure to download it 50,000 times and then delete it so they lose 50,000 sales. Even thou this is bait, im still mad at the thought someone might actually think this is how it works
>>315609457 because knowledge and personal taste are sufficient to judge something on a basic level, if i don't like chocolate i don't need to taste a chocolate cake to know if i'm gonna like it or not
>>315609421 >bethesda ships an incomplete game every time >"modders will fix it" >"don't mod the game its disrespectful" >implying anyone gives a shit what is respectful after paying $60 for a game senpai
>>315609668 I never understood piracy either. Why are you stealing a game you don't think is worth money? You're basically saying "This is worthless and not worth my time, but I'm going to play it anyway"
>>315609750 free is free. go to a costco sometime you'll see lard asses who don't even like bran muffins lining up for free samples, or go to any any fast food restaurant where people just steal all the ketchup packets because they're free
>>315609750 No it's saying it's not worth spending the money on and supporting the developer. I have plenty of time to kill. There are games that aren't even worth a pirate though. I swear Blops III is one of them. What a waste of 50gigs.
New dialog system Mute MC. Every dialog option completely written. Non shit HUD More weapon mods. Have clean prewar building/furniture options or something that's not filled with holes at least. Manage a vault instead of a settlement. Player homes. Improve enemy AI Enhanced Lighting More perks / Perk Rebalance.
>>315609862 Yeah but you dont' see people laying under the ketchup pump at mcdonalds pumping ketchup into their mouth. "Oh man this is bad, all well it's free so I'm going to enjoy it. I have plenty of room in my stomach" That's piracy.
Combat rebalance More weapons More Armour/clothes UI fix Survival mode Killable kids Unlimited power armour Sex mods of course Reworked settlement building so it actually works and isn't a waste of time Tweaked AI
>>315610048 Time is always money. NEET's just waste their time. >>315609968 You should do your research before playing the game. You can't go to store, walk out with a sandwhich, and decide to pay for it later based on whether you liked it or not.
>On Consoles - More hair - Body mods though I doubt anything CBBE-esque for women won't get past the Bethesda filter unless a modder disguises it as something else - Alternate texture for Dogmeat because holy fuck how does he not have hair physics in 2015? - Ability to access Power Armor indefinitely - More perks - More god damn hair
>>315610394 It's 100% accurate. That's what they're doing. Then once they're in the parking lot they go "FUCK, this sandwhich I barely looked at has mayonaise? I hate mayonaise. All well glad I didn't pay for that piece of shit, no way am I going back in there tomorrow to pay for that!"
>>315610283 >You should do your research before playing the game.
I'm talking about pre-orders though, you realize there's review embargos right? You think you can do research on trailers?
>You can't go to store, walk out with a sandwhich, and decide to pay for it later based on whether you liked it or not.
Yes we know how the real world works but that doesn't make it fair. Fast food places do this too by making their ads have sandwitches look like something you'd never get in store. I'd fucking pirate the sandwitch if I could too, that is if you could actually copy food like jesus or something. The real life object arguments never work.
>>315610605 Hey if everyone on earth did it, there'd be no vidya. Generally speaking if everyone on earth does it, and something bad happens, it's immoral. For instance. If everyone on earth murdered someone, we'd all die.
>>315610723 There's obviously that too, really demos are the only way to go. Free samples are a thing in stores too. There's confirmed shilling in Yelp reviews and shit as well. You can't trust reviews anymore.
>>315611083 Best believe there's going to be a mod that arbitrarily spawns you somewhere else an intermediate time after the bombs drop so you're not drawn into cryogenic freezing and the wife/son subplot.
Then you become the kind of the guy that likes to roam around and get caught up in replicant propaganda.
mod tools aren't even going to be around until well after release anyway, they have openly discussed this. (I think they said it might even take a whole year, because making mod tools for the same engine you've used for over ten years is hard, right?) literally everything they do is lazy or half-assed
>>315611707 Yeah, because no game ever has ever had any mods without A FUCKING MODTOOL. SKYRIM MODS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE CREATION KIT, NOT EVEN FALLOUT HAD MODS BEFORE GECK, NOT TO MENTION WITCHER NOT HAVING MODS BEFORE REDKIT.
when did betheshit turn into trying to tell a story instead of letting the player tell their own story? their games have never been good. the thing that made them good was role playing. that's fucking it. so then they take away role playing and massively overestimate their talents as writers.
>>315612187 irrelevant. The store doesn't care about the sandwhich, they care about the money they earn from selling the sandwhich. Same with games, the physical media isn't what you're being charged for, your'e being charged for the right to use the privately owned software of a company that spent a lot of time and money making that software.
>>315612297 It would be even worse if it was 1,2,3,4 cause then theres a chance you'll hit the wrong key and initiate gay sex by accident Wasd would probably work, or they could you know, just give a box with the actual text and let us select it with the mouse
Melee weapon mods. The idea that guns would even be around hundreds of years after the nuclear apocalypse is fucking ridiculous. I know there's monsters and robots and whatever the fuck else but that at least makes sense within the confines of the game's world. The existence of bullets still to this point despite 100% of all machinery and factories being destroyed does not make sense at all. Everyone would be using lead pipes and other crude melee weapons.
>>315612552 You don't really know that. You may change your mind months or years down the line and say "fuck it, game x is on sale I'll play it" Pirating cuts off all potential for a sale. Even if you're downloading as a "demo" like some people claim, that makes the assumption that you won't make excuses to not pay for it later (I really liked this game but it was short and doesn't have replay value so it's ok if i don't pay for it). No one is morally perfect and it's a slippery slope, better to never pirate at all. Of course if you don't care about morality at all feel free to pirate, they can't stop you. Same with stealing sandwhiches from gas stations if you know what you're doing.
>>315612614 Nobody is going to actually tell you this because neo-/v/ doesn't know FO1 or 2 exist but one of the reasons bottlecaps are used as currency is they can be melted down into metal to make ammunition. Which does not require much machinery nor a factory to make. Even if we are to assume guns would just vanish and not just be in a state of disrepair, government entities of many flavors and factions in-universe would also stockpile them, and repair any they come across for use. I'm eager to see everyone else try to explain why guns and bullets are so prevalent without lore because they are ignorant of it though.
>>315612412 >The store doesn't care about the sandwhich, they care about the money they earn from selling the sandwhich. False. Sandwiches are typically priced for 30-35% food cost for the manufacturer. Video games usually have a manufacturing cost of much less than 1%
>>315609216 >every other Bethesda game released has been a buggy, ugly, unfinished mess at launch >"Idiot, you don't know that THIS one is like that. LOL"
I'm pretty sure history all but confirms that it will be. It's not like Bethesda has any reason to actually try, considering they'll get their collective balls gargled regardless, and that mods will basically finish developing their game for them on the PC side.
>>315613313 >i-i meant thats what people are p-posting about! not the fact I cant read the OP and im stupid as shit! Uh huh, seems more like you're trying to save face because I just called you out on your bullshit.
>>315613428 Here, let me quote it for you >What mods do you want to see in Fallout 4? Feel free to read it at your own pace, I know its been nearly 10 minutes and you still dont understand this sentence. Ill check up on you in an hour to see if you get it.
>>315613351 >software just magically appears out of the sky and should be free! >>315613201 Bottle caps are made of steel so you might be right. Mind is blown. Still though you could make shitty bullets from aluminum without any machinery at all, you'd just need charcoal and some kind of mold. I'm surprised no fallout has touched this yet.
>>315613680 NV had ammo-crafting but it was rather bare-bones. With mods you can make some interesting ammo types, but then again they seem like something one guy wouldn't be crafting alone on a table. I was surprised they didn't do more with the Pitt in 3 from a manufacturing standpoint.
Unofficial patch to fix the horrendous bugs and optimization problems Unofficial patch for the dlc Texture update Script Extender Complete overhaul on almost everything UI fix Quest mods to make up for utter shit one's that will be in the main game
Average Bethesda launch. Release a buggy barebones game that gets 10/10s and then spin the fact that modders have to fix it into "we have such an active community"
>>315613778 Those piles of code were worked on over long hours by a large team of devs. They have value. Much more than a sandwhich, imagine how much it would cost to commission a game that could only be used by you personally. Granted manufacturing costs are low to nonexistent but don't pretend you don't understand that if you don't give companies money they die. >>315613925 Were there bows in 3 or new vegas? I barely touched either. You'd think bows would be more useful to the average person, especially in the less populated areas where most people rely on spears and knives to defend themselves. >>315613998 I'm assuming there'd be specialists, probably fairly wealthy bullet vendors. I mean you'd definitely need an enormous source of heat compared to aluminum. Wasn't there a bullet smith near a chemist in fallout 1 in the Boneyard?
>>315614164 Places like the Pitt could probably do it, and I'm sure major factions like the ncr have places set up to start making bullets and guns.
For the average wanderer they're better off looting bullets from houses of the long dead shtf prepper type people who have thousands of bullets for multiple guns stored away in a cosmoline filled pvc pipe
>>315614164 >Those piles of code were worked on over long hours by a large team of devs. They have value. Much more than a sandwhich, imagine how much it would cost to commission a game that could only be used by you personally. >Granted manufacturing costs are low to nonexistent but don't pretend you don't understand that if you don't give companies money they die. If someone created a machine that prints sandwiches at almost 0 cost and those sandwiches could also be copied by other people at 0 cost I would have no moral qualms about eating one of the copied sandwiches without paying the person who invented the machine or the person who copied it for me, even if the machine was very costly to create.
>>315615060 The difference is with piracy you're stealing a lifetime supply of sandwhiches from that machine. If everyone else did this the guy who made this glorious sandwhich machine would be homeless. Does that seem fair to you?
>>315614627 >major factions like the ncr have places set up to start making bullets and guns The NCR's Gun Runners manufacture all of the weapons and ammunition that they sell themselves. I have no idea if the Van Graffs make their own energy weapons, though.
All I need is an alternative start preferable lesbian start because otherwise I won't be able to relate to character or give a fuck about "family" and other fuckers. Because of that my play through will most likely be "hate everyone kill everyone" Fuck you Todd and you stupid shit writer. I don't give a shit about planted memories or programming or any of that shit. I'm so pissed I can't stop shitposting Is anyone feeling the same?
