Preliminary patch notes were just released.
Was the wait really worth it?
>[3.0] Players may ride mounts in Idyllshire.
>[2.0] The casting time of the ranged DPS PVP Adrenaline Rush ability, Terminal Velocity, has been reduced.
>[2.0] A search function for recipes has been added to the crafting log.
>[2.0] An item search function has been added to the Gathering Log.
>[3.0] When using Matron's Favor or Trader's Favor, players will always be able to locate a hidden gathering point at least once under the effect's duration.
>[2.0] The color of the display for non-targetable objects has been adjusted for the party list, focus target bar, and the enemy list.
>[2.0] Players can now use waymarks while riding mounts.
>/statusoff text command
>>[3.0] Players may ride mounts in Idyllshire.
[2.0] The parameters of enemies and mechanics in the following dungeons and trials have been adjusted:
>Copperbell Mines / Sastasha / Haukke Manor / Brayflox's Longstop / The Sunken Temple of Qarn / Cutter's Cry / The Stone Vigil / Dzemael Darkhold / The Aurum Vale / Copperbell Mines (Hard) / Haukke Manor (Hard) / The Howling Eye / The Dragon's Neck / The Chrysalis
>You can now buy catgirl meidos
>the current expert dungeons get their own roulette
Oh, great. Now I have to run the new expert dungeons AND Neverendingreap & Fractured Farts.
>Clan mark logs obtained from hunts can be exchanged with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5 Y:5) for the following items:
>Illuminati Gobtwine / Carboncoat / Wyvern Horn
FREE 210 GEAR FOR EVERYONE
>Shield Swipe is now an ability and does not trigger global cooldown.
>Recast time has been adjusted to 15 seconds.
What is even the problem
>No more limit break penalty for having more than one of the same class in your party
>but only in solo duty finder
But now it looks like they nerfed it for premade as it looks like you're still gimped for duping jobs and it'll fill even more slowly if you have more than 2 members of the same role (Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS)
>Instead of making specialization skills good, let's force people to use our shitty specialization system with specialization recipes
>1.0 gathering added to golden saucer as mini games
Actually this is funny more than anything else
At least I have the music to look forward to. I should really write down what songs are already in the game so I don't get confused when I rip it.
I have no clues, making it even easier?
Why would they nerf stone vigil of all things too? The shitter filter.
Be ready to see new players even worse than before.
WHO IS THIS
I'm a completely straight dude and main monk. I never healed or tanked once in the game. But you got the role of my fc leader right. It's just that we became good friends over the time and he's kinda rich and gladly spends a few bucks for his friends. He even gifts me games if i'm short on money but I usually don't even ask for anything. He's just a nice guy.
>24 man retard proof raid
>lords of noonewillplaythisafteraweek
>FC hunts that are dead on arrival because hunts give exactly the same ilvl of loot
Yeah, great patch, loved the 5 month wait, totally worth it. Yoshi PLEASE let me suck your cock.
I'm pretty sure prepatch notes listed new story related trails.
Or rather they use "Mystery Trial" to prevent spoilers.
And the mantis bitch is obviously a boss in the void ark.
>[2.0]The following item for concealing the appearance of a pugilist's arm is available for purchase from Tataroga in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:6).
>The Emperor's New Fist
[2.0]The following item for concealing the appearance of a pugilist's arm is available for purchase from Tataroga in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:6).
The Emperor's New Fist
TIME TO FINALLY ROLL MNK YES GOD
T U R K E Y D A Y
What male? It's an ugly moonnig.
I wasn't talking about the new girl, also not the same girl, too bad.
Now to find out if they properly animated a weaponless fist or if they'll just make it invisible which looks awkward when your character is wrapping their fingers around invisible handles
I think it's funny they are finally doing this the same time they add gauntlets that are not completely terrible and won't break your wrists.
If there was a new trial they would have said something. They know a large amount of players are upset at there being no new trial so they wouldn't have kept them waiting. But that isn't to say that patch 3.15 won't have a trial for the Relic or something. But most likely we will need to wait until 3.2
>A FFXIV patch added more content than WoD's 2 major patches
15 months of Hellfire Citadel, wew lad.
>In Patch 3.1 we’ll be introducing the first beast tribe quests of the 3.0 series. This time around, we will be implementing a level adjustment feature for beast tribe daily quests. Up until now, the level in which you could accept beast tribe daily quests were set; however, we changed the system so that the enemies’ levels are automatically adjusted to match the job/class with which you accepted the quest. There are no level caps on these quests, so I think it will make it easy to use for leveling. However, you will not be able to finish the quests on jobs or classes other than what you accepted the quest on.
I really hope the quests will reward a lot of XP. It will be an incentive for people to do them and it will hopefully break the boring dungeon-filled cycle of leveling.
No half baked mudra fix please. I want to do at least 12 jin.
Might actually increase their dps and enmity gain
>nin brd changes
Looks like AST is officially fucked as the resident iseless healer forever.
>TIME TO FINALLY ROLL MNK YES GOD
>No one wants a monk for any kind of end game content anymore
>Shieldbitches still crying on the forum
You received your dps increase, what now? You wanted to do 1200 dps like war? Lose defense.
>No one wants a monk for any kind of end game content anymore
What kind of overly minmaxing optimal faggot FCs would refuse taking a monk in its Team?
Seriously stay away from FCs like that.
Thats just it though, they actually DO think they should be doing WAR/DRK DPS because they know they wont be able to compete with them otherwise for wold first progression. And of course they dont want to lose their defense for more DPS either.
The only thing I can agree on is that PLD could use more aoe DPS
>What kind of overly minmaxing optimal faggot FCs
The ones going for world or server first. The ones that did A4S almost 2 months ago. Please anon, don't tell me you still can't get past A3S?? You should stop playing with scrubs.
>You should stop playing with scrubs.
But I'm a scrub myself and I don't give a single fuck about world first just like most players on this game anyways. I just want to chill with my buddies and laugh while we get stomped like retards on A3S instead of trying to complete the content as fast as possible.
everyone i come across tells me that dragoon is boring later on and i should probably start working on a monk or ninja. Got me thinking that i fucked up. i even started working on a subclass for that particular reason
DRG, WAR, SCH and BRD/MCH are the only locked spots when doing end game content. They probably told you that so they could level their dragoons and easily get into groups. :^)
Well, I admit I got sick of it at 60 and then made nin my main job, but it is not that bad.
It was mainly because keeping heavy thrust up make me angry.
Dragoon was my first level 60 and I have to say that the job is pretty stale to play compared to Ninja or Monk. Don't get me wrong though, Dragoons do amazing burst DPS and bring some decent utility with Disembowel and Battle Litany.
However, their combos are slow and after you used all your jumps and cooldowns then it's just repeating a 123 combo until your dots fall off or your cooldowns come back up. Some people may enjoy the gameplay of DRG but after playing Ninja with 30ms ping, I vastly prefer NIN over DRG even though a good DRG would out DPS a NIN anyday.
I'll be honest, I'm genuinely more excited for the hundreds of quality-of-life changes in this patch than the battle content.
I've been wanting a way to search the crafting/gathering log for ages.
>Shield Swipe Is now an ability and does not trigger global cooldown. Recast time has been adjusted to 15 seconds. Potency has been reduced from 210 to 150.
>Goring Blade TP cost has been reduced from 60 to 50.
>hield Bash TP cost has been reduced from 150 to 120.
JUST FUCK MY PLD SHIT UP YOSHIP
Ninja has branching combos and their global cooldown is as short as Monk while Dragoon has to follow a strict heavy thrust combo after putting their chaos dot combo up and their GCD is longer.
What? Just juggling debuffs and DOTs I almost never actually manage to get Aeolian Edge off.
Don't get me wrong, once you know your rotation the class is braindead simple but it's a far cry from "just 1-2-3 lol"
NIN is more like 1-2-3 and 1-4 and drg is 1-2-3-4-5/6-7-8-9-5/6.
I don't really understand the complain against drg.
FINALLY my chocobo buddy can be maximum edgy.
This. Pretty much every melee class has the same level of complexity at the moment. Dragoon used to be at the bottom in terms of gameplay but now they're on par with the rest.
Can we set the party finder filter to HW duties yet?
Why couldn't we so far?
Great, isn't it? I mean, who gives a shit about Clemency cast time, Divine Veil long cooldown, Sheltron being severely gimped IB.
But hey TP reduction for the skill that you rarely fucking use in hard core raid.
The only change that wasn't complete shit was Shield Swipe.
>ontop of having positionals
DRG has more positionals than NIN though and two of them are random. Also NIN doesn't have the same buff pressure that DRGs and (especially) MNKs have with BotD and GL.
>Play sounds when window is not active.
>BGM, Voice, Ambient Sounds, Sound Effects, System Sounds
This is a godsent for me
worst change: my dye is now worthless
not sure about change: I may be reading it wrong, but is Lord of Verminion a MOBA?
awesome change: EX primal items can now be farmed with unsynched parties. if you've been sitting on a whisker or something, sell it now
Ninja didn't change much post HW other than having Armor Crush which extends Hutons duration, Duality which is a copy of Bard's Barrage skill, enmity control abilities, rear and flank positionals added onto aeolian edge and armor crush, and gettin a new oGCD ability to add every 90 seconds (dream within a dream).
We will never get a patch with as much content as A Realm Awoken in this game ever again
>3 new extreme primals dropping raid level gear
>New weekly quest for primal weapons
So much fucking content in one patch
It will never happen again
4 positionals vs 2, wow it's not like they are hard to do since 2 require you to actually move to the flank instead of standing at the rear like you should be.
Most of the time you're going to using your heavy thrust combo which doesn't have any positionals and if you get lucky you don't even have to move an inch if you get wheeling thrust all the time, so the only time you have to move is to do heavy thrust every 20 seconds or so.
>Similar to Crystal Tower, defeating bosses within the Void Ark will drop treasure coffers for the alliance, and you’ll be able to obtain Void Ark gear. As usual, there will be weekly restrictions on these, and you’ll be able to obtain one per week. Furthermore, by clearing the content, each person will receive a “Mhachi farthing,” which can be exchanged for accessory or armor upgrade materials.
Fom the Live Letter.
Sounds like it has something to do with the Void Ark.
but that is literally the mathematically perfect rotation, including the order that you use your oGCDs in, and you definitely wouldn't figure that out leveling. Hell, most people don't know you can use 2 oGCDs per GCD and not just one.
> savage clears much less ten expected
> we will wait more before adjusting
The opening is mostly the same except you throw in Armor Crush when Huton is about to expire, always use Duality on Aeolian Edge, and throw in Dream Within a Dream after using Trick Attack.
This is why Fem Highlanders are the absolute best girls in the game.
It's the same shit for NINs though. Also as a DRG you have to alternate between the Full Thrust combo and the Chaos Thrust combo since it's more optimal to clip Chaos Thrust. And since you should technically do an Heavy Thrust before every Chaos Thrust combo you have to move betwen flank and rear once inbetween every combo and sometimes more if you're unlucky with the RNG.
>Weekly VA clear is required for gearing unless you have A4S on farm already
>Instead of making the new Ex roulette give out a little more Eso, they took some Eso away from the old Ex dungeons to make them the less attractive option
>Retainer dyes obtained before the patch are still untradeable
Why are you doing this to me?
Not only is it still a dps increase in OT but more importantly it allows for more royal authority overall and icreases dps in MT which is what PLD should be doing.
You're a fucking dumbass
>>Instead of making the new Ex roulette give out a little more Eso, they took some Eso away from the old Ex dungeons to make them the less attractive option
They've always done this.
Their had always been retainer venture only dyes since ventures were a thing. Now they are no longer bound so you can sell them.
The metallic blue, red and green have always been cash shop. I wonder if they'll be unbound too
>nerfing literally every single low level dungeons.
It's like they want shitters to stay shitters.
They keep their subs a secret but it's safe to assume that the game is growing since WoW is flopping and this game is the only sub based MMO besides Eve that still has new content delivered on a consistent basis
What's worse is that they're nerfing Garuda NM, pretty much the only challenging fight sub-50.
god they are doing it! THEY ARE ACTUALY DOING IT!! more hunts
>every relic step can be done in one afternoon or less now
>books still have 3 dungeons, 3 fates that never pop and 3 leves
>oh but they reduced the number of overworld mobs needed
I just want some glamour
Yes. The only difference is that you only have to kill 30 mobs per book rather than 100.
You may be able to solo the dungeons if you're a warrior or summoner but good luck if you're a WHM.
>You will NEVER have a Zeta glamour for the 3 new classes
>They had the time to make fucking primal and coil weapons, but not relics
Because everyone was hankering for those hot Levi glamours, right?
You see, I never really mind those crap.
The only thing I mind from the books are the stupid FATE waiting games.
And they didn't change that.
Thank fucking Nymea I ditched that sinking ship for this weebfuck game
There's so much stuff to do, I'm more than happy.
>b-but muh endgame
The amount of people that have cleared savage is miniscule, this patch is for everyone else, and the vast majority are going to get a lot out of it I think.
>BRD still fucked
>BLM still fucked and everyone is fucking complacent with it
>Don't enjoy any of the other classes
No point in every playing this again, is there? I'm genuinely depressed. Heavensward ruined my two favorite classes for me.
>BLM still fucked
What? Its the highest magic DPS and has a rotation that finally isn't pressing two buttons. Like holy fuck HW BLM is so damn fun to play, especially with 10k Fire Crits
BRD is a shitter job for shitters anyway.
play non meme classes senpai
Not even 500k
Game is even worse off than WoW jesus fuck
Patch notes have some nice QoL shit but most everything is trash
>new story content we'll do in a single day
>>BLM still fucked
You only say that in Neverraep, Neverraep fucks everyone, not only blm.
>Random shit doing aoe all the fucking time fucking up melee
>Turning turning around fucking melee
>Tornadoes and invincibility phases fucking up everyone.
>the reason they did this was because they are now selling full outfit glamours on the mog station like minfila outfit.
I certainly look forward to the new trial. While I am sad its only one, at least its the savage ver of the best damn trial ever.
>Implying that most trials dont end up sucking anyway
Trials are so hilariously hit and miss.
You can compensate for pretty much every mechanic with swift/sharp/am and not being bad at the game.
BLM ranks the same DPS as melee currently on fflogs. It actually has higher parses in a1/a3 than melee, but no man you're right blm is bad, not you :^)
>You only say that in Neverraep
>You only say that in mechanic heavy fights
If we ever see challenging, mechanics heavy raids again, BLM will be fucked. Making us balance two timers like that was a shitty decision.
Man, these patch notes make WoW look so fucking dead.
Blizzard has like hundreds of employees and billions of dollars yet they pump out patches and expansions with less content than a fucking F2P game.
>You will never play the proper RTS
>tfw the ASSFAGGOTs gives shit latency to everyone but Japan
>Let me state the obvious senpai
put your mind to work anon, you can do better than that
You're a casting class. To put out damage you need to stand still for a few seconds. Learning fights so you know when to stand still and not to is the 1 thing your whole job is based around.
At least they didn't nerf sickness must be purged man
It's Void Ark. Mhach were part of the 5th era crap. The calamity that destroyed this Era was a flood. Void Ark lore is about an Arc a group of people used to escape a flood. Mhach are void mages.
They should have, they said experience would be increased and difficulty reduced, but the patch notes are only mentioning the exp, I don't know.
I wouldn't call myself a shitter, but I'm definitely nowhere near top tier and certainly not worthy of those world first groups.
Not quite handed to me, no. I just really don't enjoy the extra work in getting a fight down. For me, at least, I always end up fucking up my rotation during the learning process. Something unexpected happens, like a mechanic, and I end up dealing absolutely abysmal damage thanks to an entire string of fuck ups like these. I get it, it takes skill and hard work. But it's not fun. It's not fun for me in the slightest. I enjoyed BRD and BLM's simplicity because they allowed me to focus about 100% on the fight, save for the occasional proc. I'm sorry, anon. Enochian killed my enjoyment of BLM and basically killed my enjoyment of the game.
MCH has extremely high burst damage because of reload and wildfire but that high burst then turns into mediocre damage after the CDs are down. Over a long period of time it's about the same as BRD though. They bring more for physical DPS and less for magical DPS.
>completely memorize and master a fight.
So like everyone else?
>B-but I like standing behind in a safe spot.
Enochian turned an extremely grounded class into an even more extremely grounded class. Balancing two timers is unpleasant and rather unforgiving at times.
No, I just don't want to halve my fucking dps for 15 seconds for making a simple mistake. But funny you mention dealing damage on the run. Remember when BRD could do that? Those were nice times. Now it's grounded like a fucking caster class AND its dps is garbage!
>BRD still fucked to oblivion
Fuck sake Yoshi, admit you made a mistake.
>Card-based Arcade RTS game
Bard is fine, people are just terrible. The brd in my fc I expert with sometime always do over 1200 dps.
One of the best bards on my server easily outdamages our melee and BLM whenever she helps us out with A1S and A2S.
I've tried it, I don't enjoy managing all the DOTs and pet actions. The pet management especially. I've tried all the classes in the game, and the others just weren't my thing.
Primal bro, but no.
>Waiting until the XI collaboration event to level my ninja because holy shit that glamour armor
Is that bad of me to do so?
Now create them abilities for levels 1-60 keeping them balanced with current jobs, while having them their own unique feel and then develop some unique weapons and gear for them.
It's the "totally, absolutely, 100%, last story update ever for sure this time" They're doing a collaboration event in XIV where you can get the armor of Iroha(main story NPC of the final arc).
I thought they mentioned only that it's the end of current storyline in XI, leaving open the possibility of other stuff in the future.
But I don't play XI, so there might be some context I missed.
There's no reason to buy the DLC until you've beaten the main game. Everything other than the Aura is locked behind the 30 hour long 2.1-2.55 main scenario quest line.
Just buy the base game for like $15 and decide if you wanna keep going after that.
Thinking of playing this over the winter to kill the cold months. What kind of toon should I make?
It's not about it being successful, it's about how little of the playerbase there is that the game feels dead.
less than 400k with 1 60 and who knows how many of that are alts or people who aren't even subbed anymore.
It was me all along anon, I sold the scions to the garleans and to the blades.
>Using Empyrial Arrow with barrage for the first time
>The ones going for world or server first.
So a group of like, 24 total people in the entire world? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure theres only 3 teams, maybe 4, who are actual contenders for any world firsts.
Just started playing recently
I want to have sex with theseboth together at the same time?
The PS2 and 360 versions won't be able to connect starting in like, March, but the PC version will continue for the foreseeable future. They should just merge a lot of the servers, and make it Buy To Play, remove the sub fee.
Well the PLD changes were pathetic. Guess I will stick with DRK after all.
>[2.0]The following item for concealing the appearance of a pugilist's arm is available for purchase from Tataroga in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:6).
>The Emperor's New Fist
Glad I picked up MNK again. Now I just need to get it to 60.
WoW has only 1 345 992 characters at level 100. That's roughly only 4 times the population of Heavensward for an expansion that lasted around 7 more months and had probably around 6 times the amount of subscribers at launch compared to Heavensward.
Dead game indeed.
>There are three difficulty levels for exploratory missions. Players can select their desired difficulty prior to undertaking a mission. The strength of enemies and rewards obtained will vary based on this setting.
>Do the rewards vary with the difficulty?
>Yoshida: If you mean will better stats be available on Aetherial gear at the higher difficulty, it won't be like that. It will simply be a change in the drop rate of the golden treasure boxes. Since the only difference will be the strength and the drop rate from monsters, there are still plenty of reasons to try the lower difficulty exploration.
Odd number patches has always been catch up welfare patches. The only new thing Diadem will really bring is potentially BiS gear with enough dedication due to possibly 3 secondary stats or just the two you really want.
For healers I hope it means good accuracy+crit/pie gear because the crafted gear available right now is dog shit.
The drop rate is apparently very low on Easy, so maybe one chest in 90 minutes will have it. Yes, it's still 'handing' people gear, but that's one piece of good gear for 8 people in 90 minutes.
And either way, this is how gearing works in MMOs. Provide best stuff for hardest content, then provide same for easier in the next patch, then a higher level in te patch after that.
That's what I'm saying. Since Heavensward is only 4 months old, let's compare it to the state of WoD 4 months after its release.
Since I have no idea how many level 100 characters there was after 4 months, let's just take the current amount (and since some people probably deleted their character).
So, let's imagine that after 4 months, WoD had 1,345,992 characters at lvl 100 for 7,5 million players. That would mean there should be roughly 3 subscriber per max lvl character. If we transpose this number to Heavensward it means that since it has 385,651 max lvl characters, it should also have around 1,2 million subscribers.
Except I didn't mention the fact that WoW is extremely alt friendly while FFXIV encourages to only have one character so let's do all this shit all over again. If we suppose that the average WoW player has 2 max level characters on average and the average FFXIV player only has 1, it would mean that the number of WoW players who have at least one character at max level should be roughly half the number of current max lvl characters, so around 725,000 players.
So it would mean that there are actually 725,000 players at max lvl for 7,5 million subscribers. So that means that the number of subscribers should be 10 times the number of players with at least one max level character. Translate that to Heavensward's number of characters at max lvl and it makes around 4 million subscribers for FFXIV.
And as a FFXIV player I sincerely doubt there are actually 4 million subscribers.
Conclusion: Judging the amount of subscribers by the number of characters at max level is fucking dumb.
>using Errow with Barrage for the first time
>using pre-nerf Sidewinder on Ravana during Liberation with all buffs on
>seeing unlimited procs through RoD, literally raining arrows
>ripping hate off a tank immediately with your raid opener when you 'forget' to use Quelling Strikes
NuBard gets a lot of stick but at the end of the day, it is still a fun class to play.
That rotation is pretty shit and costs a lot of DPS.
I keep seeing terrible dragoon rotations like that posted and it's no wonder why I see dumbasses in dungeons doing 600~ at 60 instead of 1100+
I just hope they streamline the leveling process a bit going forward into 4.0. The scaling (especially in the MSQ) is fucking awful; there's like 20 quests for one level then like four for the next.
>streamline leveling even more
Yeah, why haven't they let us pay for level 60 yet? This is 2015. I have a wife and kids and a job. I don't have time to spend playing the game. A week to get level 60 is excessive.
Dropped my sub a couple of months ago and I'm as happy as ever now. No more getting mad at losing easy trial fights because your party is terrible. Playing with other people in this game sometimes gives me nightmares.
I've been in groups that manage to fuck up Ifrit normal, no amount of nerfs is going to help some of the braindead shitters playing this game.
>get bored of leveling
>buy bot for 4$ a month and it gets me a shit ton of gil and 2-5 levels a night
I think I played my dragoon from 1-20 and then let the bot do the rest
>just fuck my main up senpai
Thanks for neutering my second favourite gladiator skill SE
There weren't any first timers in the group either.
>Still playing PLD when WAR is still on top and DRK is everything PLD was supposed to be.
But anon. You do know that anything that isn't a raid isn't content, right?
>Adding ilvl to Heavensward Extreme Primals,
Good move, SE. I personally am happy about the removal of the weekly lockout on Alex normal loot drops. I'm still at the point where I'm in i170 gear aside from my weapon. Should get to i190 a lot faster now.
time to post this copypasta again
Reminder teleport hacking is so easy even a babby can do it
addresses for teleport hacking
x: "ffxiv.exe"+ECC9E0 first offset a0
y: "ffxiv.exe"+ECC9E0 first offset a4
z: "ffxiv.exe"+ECC9E0 first offset a8
yes, teleport hacking is really as easy as changing your position in cheatengine
pointless in raids unless you have an all hacker party since your party will obviously see you, but you can use it to dick around and teleport to places with a good view/teleport to hunts/save time traveling/etc
if you use it in raids, you can teleport back into the arena if you die in A1S/A2S/A3S
if the pointers are outdated, do a pointer scan in cheatengine with only one offset, a0
x,y,z (and other player information) are always near each other and always have the same offsets
also, even with i210 people will still get walled by a3s
shield swipe was the TP recovery skill, seeing as it only costs 40tp and you end up regenerating more than you spend while in battle
if you were smart and happened to be low on TP, you'd pop bulwark and feed off those block procs from the higher block rate. You could shield swipe every 2.x seconds.
The damage you'd get off it was great too.
Now they're going to give it a mandatory 15s cooldown, kill the potency of it completely and treat people like idiots by telling them they have to time their pacification debuffs.
Good plds popped sheltron or bulward when they needed to pacify an enemy to stop a skill going off.
But in the end it's useless since everything in endgame is immune to pacification.
The two skills they reduced the TP of aren't going to magically fix TP problems. If anything they are going to make it worse than it was before.
do a scan for a floating point number
move back and forth and check for values that have changed
look for a static (green) pointer that looks like it might be the x or z value
that isn't the pointer you're looking for, but save it anyway by double clicking it since the location of that pointer won't change in between game launches, as opposed to the dynamic pointers that you'll need to edit
after you find the green pointer, search for floating point numbers with values equal to that green pointer
add all of them to the address list and do a binary elimination (i.e. edit the value of half the pointers to see if your position changes, if it doesn't then the pointer you're looking for isn't in that half of the list)
keep doing that until you've narrowed it down to one pointer, the other addresses you're looking for are directly next to that pointer
to sell to chinese gold sites
>I seriously hope you don't use a controller for this
The only reason I play this shitty game is that I can use a comfy USB gamepad. If I wanted a generic KB+M I'd play WoW, which is essentially just a more polished, higher skill ceiling version of XIV.
The funny thing is you don't. Anything that requires extra effort will require extra gil; but you can play 90% of the game at an optimal level without going out of the way to meld shittons of materia or jew the markets. The only real downside is you will probably never be a property owner (but I view that as a good thing since you lose your house if you unsub for too long anyway).
I spend my gil on crafting/gathering quests and equipment. Every now and then i just buy some MGP aswell.
Nothing much else to spend money on really. I don't care for a house for the reason you stated.
Sometimes people get so used to being able to steamroll old content they forget about important mechanics. Even though the nail is literally the one thing you need to remember in Ifrit Normal.
If they wiped more than once though then yeah they're shitters.
I'm just saying that sometimes people get in that mindset of just brute forcing through all the old content that they auto-pilot shit and don't pay attention to certain things.
>All those great crafting glamors forever out of reach
