Haven't had a chance to really play it yet. I wasn't really planning on buying it I thought the Beta was just alright. But I broke down and bought it mostly out of habit, and not really playing anything else. I plan to spend some time with it after work, the install time is insane sadly no time before work.

Colorful, fast, blows every other IW game out of the water when it comes to customization, and Zombies has been made a main focus of the game.
Campaign's still goes full "WHOAH DORITOS DUDE" mode, but it's easily the best looking out of them all.

It fucking sucks. AW showered the player with weapons and gear, and you can only unlock one fucking thing per level. The camera is shaky as fuck during sprint, and the boost jump is weak. You can't jump on/over thing, but you can run on the wall like a fucking spazz, because that helps you get kills apparently. There's no player customization so everyone ends up being the same blond guy or the girl. Multiplayer for some reason isn't playing music. I'm on PS4, btw. The game is fucked. I'm going to sell my other copies of the game to make up for the difference of the cost of the game.

Most things seem to kill them easily on a non lag servers. LMG's are hot.
There is player customization. Go to specialists and then press customize. Plus AW was jittery as fuck, the new boost and things are way better.
The LMG's are goat. They are a little slow to aim, but they got a good consistent accuracy. You can spray an area and get triple kills all the time.
The Gorganzola is literally a 2 shot kill and feels sexy as fuck.
Bruh, anything but an SMG is going to have you iced right out of spawn. I don't know what kind of shitters you must be getting matched with but LMGs are objectively the worst class of weapon right now.

I am pretty sure SMG's are only seen as good as they have the quickest aim down sight. If you combine it with the faster aim after sprint perk it is almost instant. Now that their are dedicated servers instant aim isn't to much of a problem.

ARs are competitive and they might even outpace the SMGs at higher ranks, but I haven't managed to unlock anything that high up yet.
Shotguns are not so great. LMGs are too slow, even the one with the fastest RoF will be easily outgunned by an SMG. Sniper rifles are only good for certain game types, like S&D.
I passed on AW and Ghosts. Is this what CoD is doing today? It seems that anyone who is running on a wall is going to get straight up shot. I was hyped for more movement. It just seems like "more ways to die" now. Also, where are my guns? They killed the variety.

He's basically on point. While it's nothing to write home about it's the first CoD I've bought this decade and I can't say I'm disappointed. I don't play a lot of FPS games so I don't really know the state of the industry though, maybe it's terrible and I'm just out of touch. I'm going to estimate anywhere between 50-70 hours of playability.

The exo movement is almost worthless in contrast to AW. Apparently, from the ground there's only sorta jetpack-ing upward. It's not technically a "boost", because it's not quick at all. How do you fuck up the idea of what's basically a dodge by only allowing it in a single direction. There's also a forward slide, but only if you're already running. In other words, instead of dodging, you can just sorta double jump and also direct that some.
There are a bunch of free kills through free "killstreaks" that don't require actual killing -- just automatic recharge of whatever ability. This includes single-shot kill pistols, ground pounds with AOE autokill, etc. Notice that a less powerful AOE slam was already standard in AW. It's a specialization ability now.
The maps are still some of the worst in the genre, just like the BOps games before it. They're tiny, especially for having exosuit movement; and they're campy and crowded (and back and forth instead of square, with awful objective placement).
Worst of all, apparently AW has bunny hopping which BOps3 has none of.

first CoD I've played in 4-5 years and I'm enjoying it. I've only played about 10 matches so far and my only real gripe is how limited you are on loadouts. MW3 was my last CoD so being told I can't stick a sight on my pistol without taking off a perk or a grenade is kind of weird, but I'll adjust.

I stopped playing CoD with Blops 2 because I always felt like I got killed much faster than I killed others (1-shots vs my ticklemarkers).
Hell, I've got a video where, in my perspective of a guy in S&D, he was shooting almost 10 feet behind someone, but in the killcam he shot perfectly on target.
Any reason for this or how to fix if I ever want to play CoD again?
I had interest after the beta, found it kinda entertaining. Last one I played was COD4 and it was kinda entertaining, but I'm glad I've stopped preordering games after these constant problems. Seems like it's been nothing but rewarding.
Is the game any good? I'm between this and Fallout 4, but I'll be waiting at least a month before getting either, because FO4 looks broken and i havent played a COD game since BLOPS 2, but mostly because I'm broke and bills gotta be paid.

A killcam isn't an accurate example of what's happening. It's just snapshots of position, direction, and action interpolated into a movie.
BOps2 had huge connection problems from the game's design though, and even more than this image is pooling problems (wouldn't notify of taking damage until it pooled up a lot). This picture shows dedicated servers as "player vs player".
This has supposedly all been fixed in BOps3, but it might still have server issues or P2P problems if consoles don't have servers or whatever, according to this video (which hasn't been followed up on, yet):

The rason COD sucks is because it's effortless copy and paste crap not because "this mechanic is so cheap" or "these kill streaks are overrated" or even "this glitch or that glitch" it is the ctual game, only a retard thinks it is well made or cool.
I like multiplayer games mostly, so that's why I'm interested in BLOPS3. But I also really enjoy exploration games. In the end I'll be getting both, but I want to get one while i wait on the other.
I think I'll be getting BLOPS while they fix FO4 now that I think about it.

Honestly, epic quickscoping isn't a problem, at least on PC. That shouldn't the only criticism for an FPS though.
See, I've seen this image and watched tons of videos when I played CoD regularly, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I tried my PS3/4 in and out of the DMZ ('cause portforwarding takes too long), throttled my net, got speeds of 45d/15u and nothing changed.
I live in midwest US, so I should be good to go at all times I would have thought, during peak playtime.

They've said shit about 'Hybrid' P2P/Dedicated servers since MW3, and it has never been correct/truthful information.
I play Battlefield 4 often and have never had a bad connection and felt like all of my kills and deaths were correct
after the first 6 months after release when they fixed the bullshit.

I would watch some videos really trying to figure out if the mobility system was a major determiner of engagements (maybe less of an issue on console because of analog sticks, but it's still the depth of skillfulness), if the specialist freebies are overly annoying (ground slam, insta-KOs, etc.), and if the maps are fluid instead of clashy (most aren't). All of these are the basics of the game being great.

I just don't have any mindless shooters and have been playing Bloodborne since its release with a small amount of time on other games, so it was something I'd purchase if I had the extra cash.

Player customization was major in both Black Ops games. Hats, face paint, colors, cammo, gun insignias, gun etchings. It was awesome. Blops 3 though, everyone looks like a ninja turtles villain and you're forced to play as these characters. Even in the campaign, you get the option of playing as male or female and you can cover the entire face with helmets if you wish.
