1. Make sure you don't have an Oath rune equipped, your network is set to Worldwide, and your chalice is set to Open.
2. Set a password with at least one number and one letter (the more the better).
3. Provide glyph if necessary.
4. Due to 1.05, there is no longer a way to Dungeon skip via SRRC.

YOU'RE A LOOSE CANNON DJURA, AND NOW I GOT THE HEALING CHURCH BREATHING DOWN MY NECK.
An Arcane Tool developed by a hunter of Gehrman's workshop, builds upon the art of Quickening, allowing for an attack similar to Golem Axe's R2, except it's much quicker and cuts through multiple enemies.
Buscemi Phresko Benjie Meme King (with crown)
No matter the choice, you will be
I really wish from would implement some kind of boss rush mode. I know that's basically impossible but damn I want to fight the likes of Amelia or Gascogne 1on1 without starting a new game
>boss vs boss soulsborne fighting game
>tower knight vs cleric beast
>gascoigne vs penetrator
>allant vs gehrman
Day 1 purchase.
I'm enjoying our good times tbh
just set aside one of the chalice tombstones to always lead to 'Dreams of the Past' which takes you to a big circular room with a bunch of fog doors. Each fog door would have an inscription on the side with a bit of backstory for the vanquished boss. The fog doors of each boss all lead to the area you fought them in.
I don't understand why they wouldn't add in a way to practice/rechallenge bosses. I'd fight Gerhman all day.
HEY /BBG/ HAVE THEY ANNOUNCED BLAME!BORNE YET?
wtf happened to that guy drawing a BB manga?
Last I heard of him was some months ago.
I want to
in 3 hours
I would but pic related, dodge towards his attacks, his left your right, punish then back off, repeat, youll be fine
Nihei? He's probably rolling in that knights of sidonia cash
Alright lorefags, riddle me this
What purpose do the bandages the are wrapped around several of the Hunter's Workshop trick weapons serve? Examples would be the Hunter Axe, Saw Cleaver or Rifle Spear.
Would some of you agree that perhaps they serve to soak up blood so the hunter can absorb the effects of the blood for regain and whatnot?
I wonder which of my characters i'm gonna use on my first dlc playthrough. Probably gonna make a new skill character, deleted my old one because i got sick of the glasses
There's just one trailer, right?
>Obtained my 4th Yharnam Stone
>Everything was even easier than ever before
>Unsure if it's because I'm gittin' gud or if it's a commentary on how fucking amazing the Hunter Axe is
Oh well. Time for Spelunkin'

Dungeons are great
Boss rush dungeon that the guide mentioned when?
You better have a notebook for taking down notes on your own Root Glyphs. I always write down the chalice, glyph, rituals, and a basic summary of noteworthy loot or enemies as well as which bosses are on which layer.
Cooked up an FRC Isz just now. S'gonna be great.
What BL, and how often would you say you get invasions? I'm 50 but it takes 5 - 10 minutes to get anything in most areas.
Nightmare Frontier hurts my eyes so I fuckin hate invading there.
micolash cunt here, idk if anyone remembers me from when we plastered that BB Kotaku article with 'KOTAKU SUCKS NIGGER DICKS' but I'm doing a new video in which I kill every boss with a Micolash build.
I'm pretty sure I invaded you on my wheel twink
I don't know what the fuck happened but the ticks of the watering can staggered me out of my dash R1 every time and I died before I realized how much damage I was taking
BL66, good activity in post-Rom areas and canehurts, occasional invades in Byrgenwerth and even Forest. Good for hosting as all twinks are going my way.
I remember that your wheel dealt some pretty low damage, maybe because i have like 300 ARC resistance thanks to my armor set and runes though.
Arcane build stomps all the shit from chalices though and gets some damn good gems thanks to insane item discovery.
Zombies are weak to arcane up to the point my 450 ARC ar cane did like 700 damage per swing.
Beasts are weak to fire up to the point they melt from fire saw.
Ayyys care getting annihilated by lightning damage and lighting axe, cursed level 5 chalice Ebrietas goes down in under a minute from what i remember.
Everything not even counting arcane tools. You can go for BL135 and 99ARC build who will probably annihilate all the shit even from deepest chalices and will deal major damage to anyone in pvp.
Anyone fancy carrying a pleb shitter through cursed pthumerian defilement? glyph is z2u7bkej and pass is bebege
currently at layer 1 and can't even beat this faggot fire which slut I'm that shit
Guys i just found the Workshop of the holy church* is it really possible to get to the bottom without dying by fiddling down slowly? i tried it a few times and always died
*did i translate that correctly? im talking about that church next to the cathedral when you take the elevator)
Nope, it's shit even with BMA.
It should only consume 6-7 bullets at best. In pvp it won't even phase anyone with a decent HP pool not to mention how easy it is to dodge it, in pve two shots are nothing, i can deal more damage with a kirkhammer combo.
>loud background noises
>some japs chattering away in their moonspeak
>alpha ludwig with his two moves
>playing spending 15 minutes fucking around in the starting area swinging his washing saw-spear cleaver pole
>mfw save scumming rit materials and keeping the chalice glyphs
a veritable splunk unending
>a little better general damage output
>tricked R2 is the best anti-group attack of both saw weapons, second R2 is a hard knockdown useful against large foes, generally has better options against groups of opponents while still being good against individual enemies in non-tricked mode
>transformed R1 is a vertical attack with a good reach allowing you to hit the heads of Kin bosses at any moment which is impossible for Spear which has a poor transformed R1
Idunno man, I'd been using a saw spear for about two months but only used the cleaver in this past FC. I think the cleaver's dash R1s are better. The only things meme spear would then have over the cleaver is tricked seration and a wide swing tricked R1 which is slow as fuck anyway.
That said, the best for PvE is probably ludwigs or some cheesey pellet+kirk shit.
I'm using the hunter's axe and thanks to the insane rally, I can count the number of times I've used a blood vial on one beast-blood covered hand.
>all of the strongest chalice bosses are either neutral or kin with the exception of firedog and cleaver's moveset is more suited for that battle than saw's
Discard yourself anon.
>Implying the cleaver isn't good
The moveset is GOAT, in extended form you can combo any attack and it streams together without a pause or break in animation, for example it's the only weapon you can go from a jump attack to a charge R2 without the character doing an animation reset
Plus it's also the only weapon with 3 different charge attacks, which also changes the R2 followup depending on which charge attack you do
Extended moveset is great too, R1's hit high places and boss weakspots easily, R2's for swipes when you need crowd control, spear has a half assed horizontal swing for the first R1 only and a poke for R2, despite the range it's shit for crowd control or pvp without lock on, it has a slightly bigger hitbox though
Saw cleaver is by no means a bad weapon
I'VE BEEN FARMING ENJIDS45 FOR BOLT+24% & BOLT+14 AND ALL I'VE BEEN GETTING IS PHYSICAL AND FIRE ONES
WHY AM I GETTING A SHITTON OF PHYSICALS IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A RARER DROP AAAAAAAAA
At least it's good for low level gank squads.
Someone enlighten me as to why nobody runs BLT Reiterpellach builds?
BLT scales moderately well on the Reiter's shots, and you can get 3 gems to scale it up with as opposed to the one from standard guns.
Isn't there a potential for ridiculous damage there?
do you think Doll is too tall?
>just enjoying this here beautifully crafted vie-
Yeah, sure, I know the reiter's amazing because of the way gems work on the gun mode. I'm saying that for a build that focused particularly on the gun mode, won't it scale far, far better than any gun, because of the fact it gets three times as many gems?
Hunter Axe is miles ahead of almost any other weapon in the entire damn game.
>extremely versatile moveset
>default version is best version in terms of gem slots
This nigga right here
Hunter 's axe is best pve, the movepool + rally makes it insane
>dash/dodge r1 for quick poke
>charged r2 for ejaculating a 720 span
>that heavenly l2 combo for crowds and higher damage modifier
I was never able to get into the hype behind the Hunter's Axe. Can you go into more detail on why everyone loves it?
The regain I get, and the tricked charged R2 is a given, but after landing that it just feels so flaccid.
Is untricked useful for anything at all?
Plus, it's a STR focused Workshop weapon and it fits thematically.
For me, at least.
>Is untricked useful for anything at all?
Yes. The Charged R2 is a pancake machine and the rest of the attacks range from solid to good. Really, I don't feel the need to really explain why it's pretty much one of the top 3 PvE weapons in the game, that moveset should speak for itself. It's got zero bad matchups for bosses and the reach to bully specific body parts and such on many fights.
>after landing that it just feels so flaccid.
Hunter's Axe is amazing for mixups. Every single possible mixup has a use and some of it's best properties come from that. What I think you have to realize about HA is that if you're alright with swapping between trick modes often and tactically, it's hard to cope with. It hits as hard as many other slower, longer weapons but outranges all of them. It hits as hard as many of the R1 mashing close range weapons but has big advantages in regain and super armor. I'm not sure I'm explaining myself properly, but being able to flow between forms so smoothly and effectively is huge for me.

WHAT THE FUCK I DIDN'T EVEN GET BRUSH OFF CAPE YET
I would argue that Burial Blade is overall better for pve and equally good for pvp.
>extreme range on charged attack, covers an immense arc in front of you dealing hard knockdown to anything in path and comes out faster than spin2win of axe so you're not as open for punishment
>arguably better 1hr1 and good 1hr2 suited for a group of opponents
>good scythe mode diagonal dash attack with a great reach and speed
>highly powerful L2 dealing LHB-tier poise damage
>god-tier 2HR1 combo which can easily ravage a horde of enemies around you
>actually useful transformation attacks with insane hyperarmor, enough to poise through all smaller weapons in pvp and some enemies in pve
>venture to the forbidden woods for the first time
>eventually make it to the snakehead area
>die couple times trying to fight those assholes
>say fuck it and run through everything
>somehow get to shadow of yharnaam boss
>die when there's one alive with 25% hp because he decided to hit me through a stone
>manage to kill them on my second try
couldnt be more glad it's over
fucking never going back to that horrorshow
Difference being you don't get the Burial Blade until beating Gehrman and you can start with Hunter Axe.
Plus Burial Blade is a SKL weapon. I will admit, the moveset looks fukken rad
>implying Hunter Axe's transform attacks are bad
>implying HA R2 isn't top tier poise break too
I hear your other points, they're not invalid. But I take exception to a couple things.
So what's your pvp/pve weapon ranking?
Saw Cleaver/Spear > Hunter's Axe/Burial Blade > Tonitrus > LHB > Kirkhammer > Chikage > BoM > Cane > Wheel > Rifle Spear > Claws > Steak Driver
Reiterpallach > Saw Spear > Burial Blade > Hunter's Axe > Saw Cleaver > Wheel > BoM > LHB > Kirkhammer > Rifle Spear > Cane > Chikage > Tonitrus > Steak Driver > Claws
would it make you happy if I edit the two gunshots out? not that I'd do it but I want to gauge just how arbitrary your outrage is atm
What do you think 'cheap' means as it seems to be causing you confusion?
Take it as jollity, that's how it was intended. Quite how 'three question marks' indicates anger i'm not sure. I forgot 4chan has that prison mentality though so I'll refrain from any misleading or confusing punctuation in future
>No chance of ever playing Bloodborne
>Romanticize the shit out of the game and come up with convoluted and complex notions of the game
If I ever get to play it I'm going to be really disappointed at this juncture.
Nigger bloodtinge builds are shit compared to quality ones. This gun is the only truly good offensive options they have, chikage is a mediocre weapon at best and if you're playing passive against it and has at least some knowledge about concept of spacing you will never get hit by that thing. So they shouldn't use the only good tool in their arsenal? Not even overpowered one as you can block 70% of damage with a shield if you can't dodge?
If you want to complain, complain about reiterpallach turtles or something, now that is some real top tier build territory.
Either you're baiting (in which case you're doing a pretty good job) or you're brand new to online games adults play.
"Cheap" tactics aren't an actual thing. It's just you not knowing how to respond to what's going on, and rather than learning properly, you're just coming up with an excuse.
Level 2/3 cheese in League isn't cheap, it's a part of the character picked and should be expected by the person fighting them. If you didn't expect and prepare, you deserved the early death.
Shit like Repeater spam is the same thing. If you don't know how to deal with it, it's not 'cheap,' you're just trash.
You're supposed to be 18 to post on 4chan, by the way.
So don't make a bloodtinge build? You speak of it as if it's mandatory.
You're both assuming I get hit by guns a lot? I shield and run a relatively high-end character for dodging.
I suppose my point would be that firing a gun in this game takes no skill whatsoever. I have a BT build but barely play it due to it feeling...get ready...here it comes...CHEAP! There's an exclamation point too
>don't make a fun build in a game that already has a shortage of builds
Fun but not viable for shit unless opponent is clinically retarded or blind.
I can't find a single good reliable setup option for that thing aside from using it after getting a parry.
>tfw BL50 defiled amy
Words cannot describe how much I detest this fucking pile of bullshit bossfight.
it's all about the hard reads
jk don't try this at home it actually sucks
sort of most of the time kind of
I'm not gonna lie - it's rare, but there's some areas where multiplayer just isn't viable due to how shitty the framerate gets, it's ridiculous. And we're talking extended jerky stuttery drops, not a steady manageable drop.
This is still easily my GOTY for what it's worth, aside from some framerate issues in multiplayer the amount of polish and care in it is staggering. Well worth your time if you find a cheap PS4, and DLC is just around the corner
>All this praise for the HA
So I'm really enjoy using the Kirkhammer, anyone here know how to use it proficiently? Mostly use its running r1s in transformed to block a hit and then go r1 and r2 into things
> kirkhammer/cannon 43 twink
> not really thrilled with kirk so far
> use fire paper on it
Fuck, that looks awesome.
I can't get into any strength weapons but god damn is flame kirk stylish.
thanks, but the double r1 looks pretty scrubby
my only saving grace is the tiny tim, because it's garbo and I got a kill with it's like I'm a nasty beast
that cannon whiff felt a lot closer than it actually was apparently
I see your ghost too fam, you sure you're using the password and have everything else checked out?
>Caring about how big a chick's breasts are
>Not caring about how many tentacles she has
Anyone fancy helping with Defiled Amy? I'm fucking terrible at fighting this cunt.
>is a build that has the ability to tear every PVE enemy's asshole apart while still having HP good
Yes You could always just go 99 ARC and use A Call Beyond for maximum damage though
oh god pls kill me, that did not just happen
The number of times I've been one shotted going through that boss door depresses me. Fuckin slut either jumps on me or bitch slaps me and I'm so fucking bad at judging distance
If she jumps, keep in on place and charge an R2, she will miss, if we're there, keep unlocked as she will not be jumping for you so you might get hit accidently, being unlocked helps you see the moment she crashed down
So I have some questions about the DLC i won't research because fuck you.
How many weapons and suits are they going to add?
Will it be easier to invade people?
Thank you. I love you, not really I hate you all but I like BB.
Sorry about this lads, last 5 times I've tried this fucker I've been killed right at the fucking boss door by bullshit. Earlier today all she did was the laser shit which was piss easy to dodge.
Fuck my fucking life.
First try should have been it. It's about a 25% chance that I land the attack while it spreads its eldritch baby juice all over the place, and if I miss I'll get staggered by the puddles until I'm dead.
Don't know why I still try it.
> the one reborn
I don't know why I have trouble with this boss but can clear everything else mindlessly with every weapon I've tried.
Is it worth unzipping my cannon on him when he falls over or just keep kirkhammering his face until he oneshots me?
that's all I hear from people about the tiny t, just use it around corners or in doorways
I've only been hit by one person with it and they did that but they ended up losing anyway
it's just a bad hunter's tool and I can't believe it and ACB cost so many bullets
maybe ACB because it's good against bosses but tiny t is only good against the ayymisary and barely better than just using the absurd start-up and recovery time to just hammer it
Can't wait for the DLC.
The bow and arrow weapon looks cool
First kill the bell ringers. Then go in for one or two hits at a time on his middle legs (more that that and he'll try to kick at you) from the sides, and back up as needed to dodge the gibblets that rain down, and the burst.
When he slumps over, use bolt paper, and go ham on his human-sized torso. You will shit damage all over him. 2 papers should be plenty.
In my defense I never knew there was an R2 followup on that
not even when I tried it out and dropped it right after
Projectile speed is slower than on guns so it's fairly balanced. It will be mostly used in pvp for sneak attacks and to pusnish spamers and r2 lovers.
Really want fully charged R2 on SKL build to hit for a good numbers.
So does using bolt/fire paper give any actual damage to pure strength or skill users, or is it strictly for arcane?
Even better, arc builds can salvage it too
At 50 Arc and base skill I was able to get the BoM to almost 500 with sorta good gems
Bowblade has close to double arc damage with about the same scaling when compared to BoM at the same upgrade, along with much higher physical as well, it has more base damage than burial blade too
Quite the opposite, papers give a flat 80 and you need a physical damage only weapon to do it
Useless for arcane users, but can be used to boost damage a good bit when used against enemies weak to said element
it literally takes the ar that the weapon has before the paper (AKA ARCANE DOESN'T EFFECT SHIT) and then turns it into whichever element at the same AR, so arcane gets the same shit out of it as an str/skl because it doesn't change any scaling or even the AR
yeah but in your not defense there are a few more duels where you eat my regular r2s like a champ
nugzbloodstain in your dungeon
nice footwork against the watcher you fag
Hey man, unzips with lag involved are one of my weaknesses, there's always a small part of me that really wants to try to interrupt it, even if you're doing a charge attack it's pretty much impossible with multiplayer lag involved
I am not a reasonable sort though
>inb4 bowblade has some crazy arcane scaling shenanigans and with nourishing gems we will be able to go full Caladbolg on asses of enemies
can someone please help me kill amygdala in the defiled chalice ive been stuck on this boss all fucking week on this character.
Judging by the guide they only drop bullets.
I have an FRC Isz Glyph with two chests that drop phys%/flat arc gems. Any takers? You just open the glyph, loot the chests and restart. Seems like it would be great for an ARC wheel twink or something.
Made a weird fuckass build for my first play through.
Then a BLT.
Now I'm working on an arcane build but I made a mistake and accidentally off'd Eileen when I wanted her rune.
No desire to play anymore. What the fuck.
I want to make another strength build for TOH, but I'm not feelin' it. This arcane build really sucked the life out of me and I don't even have the major hunter tools.
what level are you? You can use the Wheel, a Call Beyond and do great damage with the scythe which i though scales off Skill mostly while also having good hp and stamina?
Is this like level 120?
Waste of Skin can make it to 40 arc and 30 vit by BL55. That's low enough for some early areas. You could go lower by cutting your vit, too.
I mean, there's really nothing else to it because you don't need gems. All you have to do is collect all your hunter tools.
After beating the game 4 times with the same build, I have to ask is there any value in Bloodtinge or Arcane?
Bloodtinge seems worthless and Arcane seems extremely PvP related only. Am I wrong?
>Recycling one build 4 times
>Doesn't understand that ARC/BLT are secondary stats meant to compliment SKL/STR/Quality.
>Am I wrong?
I think you're doing it wrong. You're meant to pick 1 or maybe 2 weapons per playthrough and change up your builds/weapon choices every time.
Pretty much any of the firearms can do massive amounts of damage if your Bloodtinge is high enough. With Evelyn or the Repeating Pistol especially, you can shred through bosses without even breaking a sweat.
Arcane is also really good. Fire imbued saw weapon + oil urns = laughably high damage.
Not to mention, spamming Executioner's Glove makes most bosses a complete joke.
Well when I say build I meant stats only, I use a different weapon each time. Obviously with quality builds, my options are running out for my 5th game.
Probably mix it up next playthrough and get my ass handed to me but its all good. Thanks for the info doods.
> farmed winter lanterns no problem 48 hours ago
> just shot them, visceral, repeat
> get back to them on a new character
> can't parry them at all
Weapon upgrades don't matter for parrying, right? I'm just being retarded and missing the timing? They're like, staggering but not going down, for some reason.
Probably doing it too early. It's an easy mistake to make if you've done it a lot because your brain is so familiar with the routine that it's trying to skip ahead and makes you shoot off too early. Gotta be patient and wait for that last moment of the grab animation.
flame weapon wielding lanklets in central pthumeru layer 2 drop cursed fire radials
that's a good spot to farm them, but any of them in pthumeru drop them regardless of depth
there's a fire waning gem in cathedral ward, found after taking the path opened by killing BSB
Jesus fucking shit arcane builds are fun as fuck once that Saw Spear hits +6.
Feeling kinda nervous about investing in a new character before the DLC though, since I don't want to goof up stats on new weapon requirements. Are any known besides the bow?
Oh, and, adding on to this, the Threaded Cleaver had good ARC scaling, too. I think it was B.
Hopefully I'm not thinking of the wrong weapon. Someone ought to post the TC pic because I don't actually have it saved and am going by memory which tends to be unreliable.
I'm holding back on my arc build too because I heard Ludwig has a sword on his back and I'm hoping it'll be the new MLGS, which I figure will be Arc if it happens, and I want to make sure I have room for whatever Str/Skl requirements there might be (given Dark Souls MLGS I expect them to be significant).
But of course that's all speculation.
it'd just be a fun thing to do. Or we could goof off in the CD's again or something. It's just that with it being an exclusive, we don't seem so spread out compared to the other games, I wanted to capatallize on that
is this a decent arc build to have ready for the dlc (as well as do chalice content)?
Fire saw spear/Lightning Cane/Burial Blade
If you're going to be using arc weapons, you're getting nothing from the points you're investing in skill. If you're going to be using burial blade, you'll have shit damage with only 25 skill.
You could ditch the skill investment and get decent damage out of BoM/Burial Blade with flat arcane gems instead.
It's worth noting that hunter tools never drop off in scaling and so every point you can put in Arc increases their damage significantly.
Are there such things as unparryable attacks like there are in ds2?
Unless I'm lagging or the window for arc wheel dashing attack spam is completely fucked up I'm not really sure.
So it says here you don't bow or respect gesture before attacking your hosts.
Care to explain?
>invading in a pvp area
Gesture and wait for their response before beginning
>invading in areas where people are just trying to progress
use whatever tactics, cheap or not, to kill them
>"Discovered the chime of a small resonant bell"
> how do I get good with this weapon
> LOLOL UR BLAMING THE WEAPON! :D:D
Your reading comprehension could use some work, anon.
>Finally finished gemming my Hunter Axe build
>Ringing Co-operative and Adversarial SRRC
>Playing SMTIV while I wait
This is how it's done.
where should I go from here for my DLC/Chalice farming ARC build? I need 5 more points in skill so i can use the bowblade. Should I stop at 80 or push to 85/90 for more ARC/VIT?
>tfw you actually get a chance to use A Call Beyond and it kills your opponent
The only gesture I do is roar if my HP drops below 50%, then it's tricked beast claw time.
What's the spookiest and coolest find you got in FRCs? Aside from stupid chests faced against a wall, the non boss Pthumerian Elder was pretty neat.
Oh shit Beast Mode literally got confirmed.
>hunters will be able to turn to and fro from becoming beasts
Pic related. He's the hero Yharnam deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An Ashen Hunter.
Can any artist here make a Djura version of this?
Stupid fucking noob here. This is my first time playing one of these games. What the fuck do I do? There's motherfuckers everywhere and I really don't have a grip of the basics yet.
Welcome to Yharnam
It's pretty much the village intro for Resident Evil 4. Tough it out, fam. You can do it. Don't get too greedy on the attacks. Kite them if you must, and lure them one by one if you aren't confident enough to take on more than 3.
>Invader comes immediately before I could kill the bell ringer
>finds me while a bunch of enemies are on my ass
>waits for me to kill them all before we begin our fight
Why is the Bloodborne community such bros?
Right, got it. Thank you.
>On top of this, The Old Hunters also offers players the ability to go native and transform into terrifying beasts.\transform into terrifying beasts
>transform into terrifying beasts
I hope the dlc rebalances/changes some of the existing content.
Empty Phantasm Shell and Auger of Ebrietas might as well not exist.
Hunter's Bone should have a lower 'tap cast' bullet cost with the current duration but if you hold it you can charge it with extra bullets to significantly extend the duration.
Tiny Tonitrus needs to do more damage for its lack of tracking and it's cast animation or the bullet cost needs to go down.
A Call Beyond needs something about it changed since it's better to just Executioner's Gloves over it in almost any scenario.
Choir Bell should do something other than heal since by the time you ring it your co op partners are either dead or already vialed up. Make it purge all status effects (frenzy, poison, being held in stasis by those aliens/witches of hemwick) and buff stamina regen significantly for a while.
Beast Roar, Gloves and Camouflage are the only tools that don't need tweaking imo.
>Auger of Ebrietas
You mean the hard knockdown option that has no scaling softcap and immense amount of hyperarmor on hit?
True arcane builds (99ARC) can dish 300-400 HP per hit with this thing while being absolutely safe to parry fishing or interruptions while opponent is always knocked down.
It should work as a sustained effect. First cast activates it and it eats one bullet per 2-3 seconds, second cast deactivates.
>A Call Beyond
It should allow multiple projectiles to hit the target without causing knockdown plus buff its tracking a little.
And above all we need a way to replenish all bullets and consumables without killing character or going back to Dream. Maybe make hunter marks restore all items from backups or something.
I would be ok with it if
1. it could be cast faster (make the bolt come out fast and move the delay to the recovery period)
2. The bolt of lightning curved slightly (keyword: slightly) to track your lock on target
3. it cost 3 or 4 bullets
any one of those would make it worth using but as it is.
A Call Beyond does more damage and tracks for only 2 more bullets (and can randomly hit things with it's aoe) and A Call Beyond isn't even good either.
>300-400 damage at 99 ARC
I guess if you don't mind being level 13x or having no vitality.
I imagine shooting someone with an evelyn with 99 BT would do as much or more damage, faster, with more range and no long as fuck recovery animation.
Beast roar knockdown comes much faster and with shorter recovery time than the auger if you're using it for control.
>I imagine shooting someone with an evelyn with 99 BT would do as much or more damage, faster, with more range and no long as fuck recovery animation.
bone ash dual pistol can 2shot people with only 15bt and the 20% gem you find ingame
anyone even mentioning 99arc should be disregarded
>2shot people with only 15bt
Bullshit. At best it can 2shot newfriends with 20 VIT.
Only 50 BLT BMA Evelyn can 2 shot people with actually good HP pool but i've yet to see anyone hitting its mark against a passive player .
Meanwhile a highlevel arcane build can absolutely wreck shit in pvp even if it's used by a clueless person ignoring most of the arsenal:
If I'm planning on doing anything multiplayer related level 100 is the absolute max i'll push to.
Also wherever I skipped to in that video he's only using Executioner's gloves/Hunter's Bone. Both of which are fine with the Hunter's bone having a rather low duration for the cost but the effect is good. No one here is arguing Arcane builds are bad, just that most of the arcane gadgets range from shit to sub par apart from 3 or 4.
He's literally spamming gloves for 700 HP stunlocks and it's by far one of the least effective tactics you can use on arcane characters.
Gloves are best used for setting up oil urns or call beyond.
No matter how hard /bbg/ forces low-level metas most of the ng+ players aren't stopping at either 100 or 120.
He has a shitload of videos where he invades with BL200 character easily.
15bt repeater is the same as 25bt evelyn
with a 20%gem and bone ash it WILL 2shot invaders under 40vit with a hp penalty
but i guess this means nothing to sl163 pro pvpers like yourself
>15bt repeater is the same as 25bt evelyn
Which means it sucks huge cocks.
With 20% gems it has like 270 AR at best which translates into 400-450 HP per BMA shot, even less if opponent minmaxed his BLT defense.
Meanwhile 40VIT is like 1300 HP with two runes even while invading. Not to mention how hilariously telegraphed that thing is.
It has nothing to do with amount of them you can meet both while doing NG+ invasions or simply sitting in Mensis.
Having a highlevel character in BB gives a good amount of activity and this is a good enough reason to pay no mind to community circlejerking.
>Just read that PS blog
>mfw beast mode confirmed
>mfw All beast FC
>mfw All beast gank squads
I'm going to rip you to shreds Gascoigne
Lurker here, it feels like 98 is only perfect for invading end game pvers.
Hell I'm using a 97 and have been thinking of going bl120 as almost everyone I connect with at mensis has shitty gems or low health.
I want longer fights damnit.
>On top of this, The Old Hunters also offers players the ability to go native and transform into terrifying beasts.
I hope this isn't what you're basing your post on. I have a horrible feeling they're just talking about the transformation we saw in the trailer, not a full-body one.
Unless beast mode transformation is limited to that lunging attack, I say it would be pretty cool to do beast gimmicks
>get invader in Forbidden Woods
>lure him to somewhere secluded
>2 allies waiting
>you all transform into beasts in synchronization
