Post your sword art wants
>bastard sword and other small greatswords, that actually real life longsword size
Halfsword for faster attacks and armor piercing effect
or Mordhau for stuns and strike damage
>anime big UGS
Attack while blocking, like the FUGS
>small axes and hammers
Shield hook, to break guards
>scythes and halberd
Normal attack, but when used to backstab, does a throat slicing motion
Normal attack, but when used to riposte, does shitton of damage with a nice animation
Cannot be backstabed or stopped at all while swordarting, send people flying away
late for four cucks worst boss in the entire history of gaming.
xth for I want Kriegmessers on Dark Souls 3
you're a little anonymous shit, and Menas is a great and talnted famous artist. Do you expect him to draw your shit character for free of all things? Go and make a commission faggot.
Post best fanarts of the best and most loved in the community bosses ever - Dark Sun Gwyndolin, Gravelord Nito, Great Duke Seath, Lord of Cinder Gwyn, Bed of Chaos, Capra Demon, Centipede Demon, etc.
I wonder if would be too hard to let us choose the colors/patterns of our clothing/capes by placing image files into a folder or something like this.
It would be nice to at least have an ingame tailor type npc that lets you change the color or patterns of armor with presets so you can make matching sets with mismatched armor.
I love the cleric's outfit in the test. much more paladin.
I hope the starting outfit isn't as stupid as DaS2's was, which was literally 1 quarter of a late game outfit, the same "temple knight" outfit from the network test but without gloves, boots or helmet
First time Dark Souls player, where's Solaire? I just killed Tauras Demon or whatever, and I know he's supposed to be here, but look, he's not here
>has the elite knight set, ASS and returned to the asylum for the crest shield before fighting the taurus demon
can I post my favorite fanart instead?
I watched that Matthewmatosis video and it convinced me to buy Dark Souls, so I know a fair bit about the game already. As well as friends have been wanting me to play it since 2012.
>I know a fair bit about the game already
I was not a big fan of Dark Souls II. I did not hate it. But out of Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I, and Bloodborne; Dark Souls II is my least favorite.
I did not play all of the DLC. I did not have a desire to, until recently.
Is Scholar of the First Sin worth getting? Is enough changed to make it a new experience? Should I rebuy this entire game or just get the missing DLC for my original version on PS3?
its true, i'm not a dragonfucker, but i still love this pic
last night's fight club was an embarrassment for Peeve
Brandon was spanking shitter like it was his rob
Peeve was getting his shit pushed in by randoms that even Cone could stomp
Peeve and Frosty are the only ok Soulbrandt nerds. Brandon, Yukas, Sen, and Barneezy are all cancer.
EvilApai has the best fanart hands down.
Like I said, I didn't hate the game. It was just the worst game in the series to me. I hated soul memory, I hated all the limitations to pvp.
I hated limited respawns and enemies that only drop items in dumb locations like the NG+ ninjas in the Flexlie boss fight. That is the worst offender of the game to me.
Now, is stuff like that fixed? If I get SotFS can I get that Ninja set some place else or will I still have to go to the boss, kill 2 ninjas and feather out?
There's also the fact that he's barely in Soulbrandt anyways, he acts much more like the smaller streamers.
Also, I completely forgot to mention Pep because he is so unlike Soulbrandt, he is cool too.
The "ninjas" are regular enemies in No Mans Wharf now so you can join CoC and easily farm them. The visible Aurous set is also a treasure in the Gutter now so no tedious farming there either. Agape ring (to control your SM) still exists.
I don't think you've ever seen Barneezy when he isn't putting on a facade on his streams. He's a giant asshole who does whatever he can to get ahead, by getting people banned from twitch through his admin friends or shilling.
SotFS remixes enemy spawns, item locations and and makes some other miscellaneous changes. Many of those Phantom-only sets are now available elsewhere too and joining the Champion's Covenant makes enemies respawn on a permanent basis.
I wouldn't be surprised if buying it doesn't end up costing much more than buying all the DLC anyway.
scholar improved a lot of enemy placements and item placements. (no more farming the red phantom for the auros set, or the ninjas) heide knights are now in heide, Dragonrider's dragon is there too, Pursuer actually pursues you across the bastille, (and he fights you pre-curse buffed)
stuff like that.
if you were not satisfied with the vanilla game, then perhaps don't get scholar. or pirate it first and decide if you like it better.
but I would definitely try the DLC, in order. (Sunken King first, Iron King second, Ivory last) that has some of the best level design in the game, much more Demons Souls than the rest of the game. (all the DLC's are disconnected from the world, you warp to them)
the DLC doesn't change at all between the base version or scholar, so theres that as well.
I don't understand how people complain about despawning enemies. The whole series has this to some extend with bosses and minibosses. DaS2 gives you the option to infinitely respawn them without going into NG+ and losing all your bonfires.
Yukas is a lying wetback. Back in 2012 his whole story was that he had a wife and child back in his home country and he was trying to make money by streaming. Now he has a Russian gf. He has also admitted to being an illegal immigrant.
Peeve cheated on PC release day.
it is annoying because they also tied specific weapon/armor/item drops to those enemies when in dark souls 1 all armors were in chests and items that would be dropped are always dropped if the last of that enemy type is killed (so you're assured to get the item)
in dark souls 2 you have to raise the difficulty the level of the whole area to even try to kill them again, they also removed the soft humanity meter so you cant boost your item discovery with that
its pointless, they try to make the game easier but they end up making it worse in general
I think the possibility of despawing enemies is great, but the way it is done is terrible.
Should be something like, an usable throwing item that makes the enemy glow and gives him a super buff, but if you kill him he's gone forever. Then just make this item super rare until endgame.
This cost me 21,000 souls. Debating if it was worth it. Ah well.
No one understood his humor really outside of a small part of his fanbase. It's a shame about how he got banned and they won't let him back. After his ban is was never really the same, he moved to instagib and the only people that stayed to watch him was a few loyal austists. No streamer can stand streaming for the exact same 5 people for years, so he pretty much stopped.
>being on 4chan of all things
>not being into dicks
>the DLC doesn't change at all between the base version or scholar, so theres that as well.
Reaching it is different. In the SotFS it's locked until...I didn't like the game enough to bother figuring out how to unlock it.
hexes/dark magic are not in the message system, they added freeze as a status tho
it will probably be back but not as its own type of dmg
there was a webm showing all the messages categories but i dont have it
In SotFS you get the keys manually.
The claw for Shulva is in the pit, you can get to the gutter right away, kill the giants with poison arrows and get the claw, then proceed to kill Rotten.
The Key for Brume Tower is in the fire lizard area, which you can access from the begging as long as you have the cat ring.
The only one locked away is the Frozen Flower. It's in Drangleic castle.
