>What is Tree of Savior?
Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, and not fully released.

Tree of Savior is somewhat unique in that the games translation is heavily supplemented by fan contributions provided at IMC's offical Github. Is this genius or laziness? It's both!
Tell me the secrets of leveling beyond 78 and I will.
Unless it's just go ahead and do quests in areas 6 levels above me then fuck.
still looking for more people to go into the dungeon, diekdirvys left and another memelander joined. Can't read whispers at all if anyone is interested.
Doesn't only INT increase magic attack? How does SPR increase your damage? I'm absolutely serious in that I don't see how it would. It'd be nice if it did since that would mean I'd actually have so regen and use less pots.
Okay. Since things are getting to level 130 and taking 3 million years to kill. Where is the best place to grind for lvl 108 up to maybe lvl 115?
The set isnt worth it
I had to do it 5 times because I got 2 boots
Is there a comprehensive list of head cosmetics yet?
Specifically looking for cat ears, how get?
Is summoner worth a shit? That outfit screams best but I haven't looked into the class line at all since I'm doing swordsman first.
>got bored of Highlander at Lv64
welp, that was quick.
Also I really hate how quests are not marked. It just adds a level of tedium trying to find them all. At the very least they could have a 'X/Y number of quests completed' for each zone.
Monk looks good as fuck, but fuck if having only autoattack for 115 levels isn't bullshit.
For people who are having trouble levelling, make sure you talk to NPC's and do every quest
you should never have to grind
Look at the world map for places your level, the game isn't quite as linear as you'd think
case in point: I'm now 89 have never had to stop and grind for levels, not even in the awful 75-86 part
Though there is no reason not to do 50-60 in a few dungeon runs
Someone in the previous thread wanted the image of all the costumes. Here you go.
Rate my weapon (going for +9 after I get enough money).
I'm gonna go priest c3I wanna see what the fuck stoneskin is.
I might not oneshot shit but I can kill it in a few hits with my blessing doing 130+ twice thatnks to sacrement. Plus the other spells.
Rank6 up to debate, But better zaibas + AoE attribute from C2 krivis would be a good zombie-making tool. Druid's AoE might do the same job though.
About stats, full INT gives you better Zaibas and Cure. full SPR makes your life easier overall (and shit ton of max mana and a shit ton of regen) which makes Effigy spamming viable. Remember that NO bokor damaging skills scale at all, so you're free to invest into SPR/CON (Hex and zombie health actually scale with SPR).
Unfortunately bosses are a thing, and while leveling up, a 2:1 SPR/INT build is best. Enough scaling for zaibas/cure and enough mana to spam Effigy. before you have max (5) effigy never use it, so before then stay full INT
Cure's problems still stand.
-pratically the same cooldown as Zaibas but only 1 use (no overheat, which means Zaibas deals double the damage)
-Time-based, spends charges on nothing if nothing is on it. Near misses are too devastating, even if the mob steps on it after 3 seconds, that's 3 charges of dmg you lost, while Zaibas doesn't have this problem
-Does not hit flying/hovering targets, Zaibas does
-Is wonky on elevation (like stairs), might not hit anything, Zaibas always hits in its area
They may be similar in damage (..somehow), but in pratical terms Zaibas wins out in quality of life. Also, having both Zaibas 5 + Cure 5 is much better than only having Cure 10. Missing 1 of your 3 AoE's isn't as bad as missing your only AoE.
No. The pet will literally never be useful as anything other than a damage sponge. But it's AI is so fucking dumb it will actively do whatever it can to break up groups of mobs, making killing huge stacks of them a lot harder.
Thanks for all the advice by the way, I'm definitely going to roll bokor on launch, since I've invested too much time into the nightmare that is archer c3.
I also can't wait to see what shepherd will do. I originally wanted to do that because the outfit looks nice.
int increases your magic attack by 1, that literally all it does. It's the same as your rod/staff giving you magic attack. It's actually such a horrible stat to put points into.
It literally increases the damage of your spells by 1 point every time you get int because of how the damage formula works.
>not signing up when keys are given to everyone and their grandmother
>first lvl 4 EXP Card
>think this will finally go faster
>barely gives 10%
>this will go on until 85
How do you guys do it?
I don't know
My level 4 hexing curses 3-4 enemies
Then my Effigy hits it all.
Is Paladin worth it?
Smite looks like it will be overshadowed by monk skills but the other real option at that point is priest C3, that only gives +20 to blessing and +16 to sacrament.
Feed them more gems, 100 exp each
Or get a gem enhancer dust (not named that, but something to hat effect), a boss drop, think it's somewhat rare, for 3000 each
Each time you unsocket them they go down a level.
fuck off BR scum
here's the gerber treatment you wanted
Unfortunately, no one's gonna be able to answer this. Necro's rank 6
Energy Bolt is "okay" early on, and it gets a buff against sleeping enemies when you have the appropriate attribute. But if you don't level it past 5, fucking forget about it and remove every point you invest because it'll be worth nothing. It depends somewhat on which route you go, too. If you go Cryo, for example, Energy Bolt loses all value because Ice Bolt is simply better and even when it's on cooldown you'd be unable to justify the waste of SP on Energy Bolt, SP better used on anything else you have.
If you don't go to Wizard's second circle, remove the points from Energy Bolt via respec around level 40-50
The price is actually not bad. And if people are attracted to this, might roll on a squire next time. Although:
Are there any requirements when enhancing other people's items? Or you just set it up, wait for the dosh to flow in.
Can you leave it open even when logged off?
It's ok for the first levels, and it's damage is not terrible, but I've found I do more damage overall with just basic attacks
with enchant firebecause of the cast time and cooldown.
You can ignore it if you reset when you get higher rank shit. You can put some points into Lethargy and buy a cheap attribute that increases striking damage against the debuffed enemy. Doesn't work on your ranged attack from what I've noticed, only on the C one, but it's good if you party with clerics.
But yeah, Energy Bolt is one of your only damage source as Wizard and it can help fill in gaps of cooldowns for your first circles, but forget about it later.
So if you leave Cure unattended for half of its duration and then a mob steps in for the remainder of the duration, that Cure will deal as much damage as a Cure that hit a mob from the very start?
From what I've seen Cure ticks every 0.7secs or so, and does it from the very start, because it might be used on allies. Because of that if nothing is on it, the damage is wasted, not accumulated. I've never seen Cure hit a mob for more damage or more times at the last second when a mobs finally steps on it. All I've seen from my missed Cures is a mob walking around, taking 1 or 2 ticks, and then Cure vanishes (from time, not because it spent all of its hits)
Why would you step out of a nightmare to get into another one?
Bokor C1 to C2 is the worst thing in the world. You'll suffer just as much, if not more. you'll not have fun for a long time.
Not even I think I'll roll Bokor on final release. The resets really help the class out. Without them the first 80 levels would be even more painful.
Next characters I'm thinking of doing are Cataphract, Wugushi, and Sorcerer/Necro. In that order. They all seem to have a better life than poor pre-C2 bokors.
Guys, send fucking help.
I've worked it out. I need 11 million exp to hit level 136. Between my current level and level 136, I will earn exactly 21 level 7 exp cards. This is 2.94 million exp.
I need to sit and grind just over 8 million exp. That is equivalent of going from level 1 to 81 by doing nothing but grinding on trash mobs.
Unless this level 130 instance dungeons shits out exp, these next few days are going to be suffering, and I do not suspect many people will hit above level 130.
I'm not stepping out of one nightmare into another, I'm staying with archer c3 -> wugushi for this beta until launch, when I'll probably roll bokor.
It just seems more fun than archer c3 because cleric -> krivis -> bokor is a little less tedious than 3 circles of archer. I also enjoyed cleric a lot when I played just up to about level 40 before I started the archer character, but I made a mistake by going krivis c2.
When you make the wugushi, don't go archer c3. Or quarrel shooter either.
>So if you leave Cure unattended for half of its duration and then a mob steps in for the remainder of the duration, that Cure will deal as much damage as a Cure that hit a mob from the very start?
Pretty much. Keep in mind that friendlies standing in it will consume ticks since it, y'know. Cures. Gimme a few minutes to get a recording.
that cyclops didn't know what hit him
Monk in training. Auto attack battle Priest is a go.
Earthquake has more longevity only because it's such a big AoE, but its damage becomes irrelevant around the same time. It does a really good job of launching smaller targets into their air, though, which stops them from acting for a few seconds. I'd keep points in Earthquake just for that
Damage falls off unless you go full wizard, but it provides a decent/good breather for your other skills to go off cooldown.
Problem is it sends your neatly packed mob flying all over, so unless you're linker, it's a bit of a pain.
>finish archer2 grind
>1 point in stockade trap
it was worth it. I dont have to try and kill things with my shitty attacks anymore, i just make a huge train and drop a trap and they all die
Still cant decide which archer skill setup to use
10 multishot and swift step are a given, that leaves 10 points
oblique is good while leveling, but it seems pointless now that i got some sort of aoe that doesnt drain my sp like crazy, heavy shot as well for single target damage with knockback.
The thing is i get the sense both of these are 1 point skills, but im not sure if better to leave them 1 point, or to raise them some. The SP cost is a lot now, but will it be forever? An extra 'free' 200 damage or so per hit on them isnt huge, but it could add up.
so with my remaining 10 points its either.
1 into each and then dump the rest into skills ill never use. max oblique (it does have that snare attribute), or max full draw (being able to knock things into my traps might be a good idea?)
I tested kneeling shot and its actually not that bad but crossbow range is shorter than bow range so the silly screen wide farming you can do with a bow doesnt work as well with an xbow, and im going rogue eventually so...
I dont know what to do. I could max kneeling and heavy and just toss out oblique, it really wouldnt make leveling that much harder come release since kneeling with a bow will level you fast.
>tfw BR and have no noots received in-game so far
Aight screw this video recording is hard. You can test it yourself, though. Drop cure, stand in it instantly and see when the square disappears. Then drop cure, wait three seconds, stand in it and see when it disappears. The duration that you're standing in it is consistent.
I /think/ that's tied to cure level, although I haven't tested it as much as I'd like.
okay I need some help here senpai, I traded my recipe to my friend hoping to give it back to myself but that turned out to bind the recipe. If I give him the crafting material and he crafts it, will the weapon also still be binded or could he trade that to me? And yes I know that ruins the potential but ahh my recipe
>Sapper skills won't work on flying enemies
c2 cleric is alright, anon.
I'm so sorry anon, just rerol, the skills barely ever work unless you hack
I had a pretty bad time with w3, it might just be because it was around the time I found out int scaling is ass, but it just felt underwhelming, magic missile does fuckall, faster casting doesn't fucking matter because everything has a cd, and it still eats your SP.
That's just me though, I found pyromancer to be a lot more fun and powerful.
I'd encourage you to try again with SPR, but maybe it's just not for everyone.
INT pays off if you intend to use Summoning but really not for much else and that's super lategame. One extra damage on autos is really worthless.
>Finally get to Sadhu
>Using OoB autoattack at some range bugs the damage numbers and they come out as a blurred mess
>Forcing max range on the spirit produces a bunch of random particles all over the screen
>FPS drop down to 12
At first i was worrying that my hardware was failing however all my parties report the same stuff
Because I want to level fast with auto attacks. That's what this build is all about. It isn't the best against bosses but bosses aren't the majority in this game.
Here it is just grinding. It does pretty well I think with minimal brain effort.
Anyone else /grindingallnightlong/?
I need level 127 to get back to the main quest line. Not to mention to Corsiar jobchange.
partly why i gave up levelling one character, just gonna make alts to see which class I actually want to main on release
Which one, /tosg/?
Right seems to have better stats than most level 120 swords I've seen on the database, but left is much much cheaper and has a higher attack value pre-upgrade, but it has less aoe.
I'm not even sure if block pen or crit damage is better at this point.
Blessing and Sacrament. I got rid of Aspersio.
Yes you need the powder to cast it. Buy a stack of 100 of each for like 4.5k each time you're in town. It's basically like buying potions, but cheaper.
I hadn't thought about it that way.
Anon, you're much too lewd.
Don't give up.
I have it dex:str 1:1 right now. I've tried all possible combinations, full str, full dex, 1:2 and 2:1.
Full STR is OK but you sometimes miss, full DEX will have you CRITing a lot but the damage will be very weak. CRITing with STR 2:1 is amazing but it almost never happens.
All Quarrel Shooter's skills are terrible. It's like being a rank 2 archer but without any benefits.
The shield does hardly anything and doesn't actually block projectiles. All it does it aggro ranged enemies.
Stone picking is bad enough as a nothing skill, but each stone weighs 100 so you either shoot one stone at a time or have to go back to town twice as often as any other class. Stone shooting does a lot of damage to enemies weak to crush but costs too much SP to actually use, has a long cast animation, and most enemies will resist the stun.
Caltrops are pretty weak. Small enemies usually won't walk over more than one or two and their damage isn't anything special.
I thought about powering through it to rank 2 when they get an aoe ability and teardown, but now I'm hearing that the aiming for their one neat skill is totally fucked anyway.
Not even their skills but the class itself is super lame. Their special attribute is to add their shield's defensive stats as attack power for 10 seconds after blocking an attack. Like thank god I have 50 con so my block is high enough to actually activate and I can add a whopping 20 damage to my attacks for 10 seconds. I couldn't have possibly just added 50 more strength that only gets more effective the farther I get into the game.
I don't think psychic pressure and sorcerer would gel together at all. The sorcerer summon drains 3% of your SP and prevents normal recovery and psychic pressure drains 4% of your SP every second. With 3 ranks in psychokino pressure is basically your only big damage spell.
boss traps are where it shines
However I've encountered 2 mage bosses that had traps that could resist it.
But still, like 95% of bosses it means everyone gets 42 more int and str which is great.
this is literally good. People who are shit at their class will not be able to grind anywhere near efficiently enough to keep up with the main wave, people who lack patience will quit.
Basically it filters out everyone you dont want in your high level community by ensuring only people who know what they are doing and who arent going to freak out if you need to spend a little bit of time setting the group up optimally are left.
My only wish is that they extend the levels infinitely so that i am forever separated from the shitters
>finish the Great King Zacharias Heritage questline after blood and tears of tedious boss fights and kill 10 rats quests
>open the chest
Did I just get meme'd on
>People who are shit at their class will not be able to grind anywhere near efficiently to keep up with the main wave. People without patience will quit.
And the game's gonna die and everyone's gonna flee back to LoL or whatever shit they play. Server merge's gonna happen, and the BR's still aren't IP banned.
If this lag doesn't get fixed by release, I've got other reasons to drop beyond grind.
That, and uh..if you keep your nonsense hush hush about how to build a class properly, you and only you will be good at it. I mean, yeah - you're awesome and have that top spot on the rankings or what the fuck ever, but guild content will need more than one of you...
>t. mlgpro wowclone raider
Grinding will always be the hardest core, kid. :^)
No reason to be quiet about builds, thats stupid. The ranking thing in game is also stupid.
People who have both the ability to read to understand how to build a class, and the patience to grind it out, are all that you need to have a crack team in any mmo.
Literacy and patience. That excludes like 80% of all humans for some fucking reason.
If it's any consolation I think psycho is a super fun class. But it would be so much better if you could rely on demons while your SP is low. Actually don't they get a pet that buffs them with sp recovery and stuff? Maybe you could use demons for trash mobs and then psychic pressure for bosses.
Actually archers have the best crossbow attribute. It's 20-25% chance to ignore armor, but personally I don't think it activates nearly that often.
>That huge jump in difficulty after level 130
Is this done intentionally? Not only does the grind become full retard at this point, but enemies go from dying in a single level 2 Cartar Stroke, to surviving 2 level 15 Cartar Strokes with Skull Swing active in a single map.
I pity anyone who gets to this area and isn't a Highlander. These enemies have literally 100,000+ health each.
>Level 81 for the horn of BR's Bane
>Claims to be some elite hardcore pro
>Isn't even in the top 10
Those people in the top 10, infact anyone above you in ranking is simply better than you. They grind faster, harder and more efficiently.
What makes you think you're going to be some high level guy when you can't even keep up with a bunch of random fucking BRs?
So is this game literally just a pointless solo grind to nothing?
No cool hub areas, fun group activities or other reasons to connect and communicate with people like a Massively Multiplayer Online game is supposed to have?
Is this really the best MMO 2015 - 2016 has to offer? A linear grind fest with boring fetch quests and a cliche story of "YOU ARE SAVIOR, YOU ARE HERO".
No races, no different starting areas, boring classes, level locked content, no reason to explore because of linear paths and fast travel, extremely uninspired quests, and a shit story.
Disappointment of the century desu.
wizard1 pyro2 linker1 sorcerer2 sound?
because sorcerer seems really cool and has the best outfit in the game. exploding bats and a cat that gives you SP regen and the obvious giant black coollookingboss seem like they'll just be a fun class.
will pyro2 be enough for my shit to still do tons of damage later in the game?
>not using beta to test different things so you can grind fastest at release
the ranking thing isnt tied exactly to level, sure starting out people at the top are going through the game faster, but once the hard grind sets in people who dick around exploring are going to gain lead over people who just grind the hardest
All true except
This has some of the best classes out of most modern MMOs. The things you can do and the combos you can pull with others are fantastic.
Its just there is literally no reason to group up.
but how do you turn it off ;_;
Ranking is tied almost exclusively to level. There is some minor variance, but the vast majority of point you earn are from monster kills and quests completed (I have 16k points, like 15k of them come from those two things).
You cannot kill enemies significantly higher level than you, nor can you do quests over 10 levels above yours.
oh, i did not know that, i thought map uncovering/crafting was significant as people a few threads back were dismissing it as frivolous and meaningless
i guess the ranking is ok then and they were just casuals
It was on channel 9, i ran back on my cataphract and it is gone. When it killed my cleric it had a yellow bar that was slowly decreasing. Was that like a timer? All i know is he hit my cleric for 4000. The boss looked like a giant reaper.
>Is this really the best MMO 2015-2016 has to offer?
Dungeon Fighter Online Global is Korea's #1 export as it stands, but
>It's dying HARD.
Nothing fun lasts long. FFXI's dead. Wonderking's dead, ROSE is dead, Trickster's dead.
>People think FFXIV is good.
Well, compared to WoW, and only compared to WoW.
IF YOU'RE ON A SERVER THAT ACTUALLY HAS PEOPLE DOING FATE's
We're seing around 36 classes of the intended 80, and maps for about level 400 characters at best. You can solo and breeze through the game until you're almost 5th class, when it starts getting challeging enough for you to group up and grind.
That was a major problem with RO. The game was massively difficult from the begining, meaning that you were stuck for several hours levelling with one, or maybe two skills. On ToS, you can setup a variety of skill sets, so that by the time shit hits the fan, you're been having fun with the game for a while now.
The grinding could use some better scaling, though. Mobs between 0 and 100 could maybe give you a full 1% or 2% EXP, and it would still be fine. There's no need for the grind to be that difficult that early into the game.
>still can't think of a way to make a game that isn't "grind for ??? reason"
>still can't write a story that isn't just "you are the hero"
Name one thing this game does better than RO or even fucking Maplestory.
The graphics are nice, and some of the classes are decent, but it's just the same old shit we've seen time and time before except done worse. It has been 11 years since an original MMO was released. You should learn from your mistakes and learn from other games, not just take all the tropes and cliches of all past Korean MMOs and combine them into a boring grind-filled shitfest.
There is not one original idea or mechanic introduced in Tree of Savior.
Yes, but check recommended level on each floor. If you're more than 10 levels below it, you won't get them.
Get to grinding.
Or open up the world map and visit the areas in your level range that you haven't visited
>playing a game needs to have meaning
>every game must be new and exciting
Pretty sure you're the one that has a problem. People play just to play, not try to set some meaningless trend. But you're probably baiting for replies so whatever
You can probably get by with C2 Pyro if you got something else to support it, not sure how Linker C1 will do though. But Pyro is pretty good even later on as a C1. Just make sure your magic attack keeps going up. Generally that means upgrading your staff and maybe putting blue germs into it. INT helps too, get a healthy amount, but don't neglect CON and maybe SPR, you might not even need that much
Anyone know what the point of guiding the spirits in the guards graveyard?
I got two buffs
the ability to see spirits and 10 purification contribution
but what do they do?
what happens when people turns this stuff in
linker's mostly there for fixing the pyro problems like large chunks of flying mobs ignoring fire ground, and needing to put fireballs on things melee is near.
which is absolutely the worst. I would do unspeakable things for a fireball attribute that makes it not get knocked around.
plus it lets you lump things up in one area and makes them take more magic damage.
if I wasn't gonna do linker c1 I'd do psycho c1. elementalist c1 doesn't really interest me and I'm pretty set on sorcerer.
These are what I've tried so far and here are my ratings
Just realized all of the grinding being done will be useless next month.
>Mobs between 0 and 100 could maybe give you a full 1 or 2% exp.
This is with ACCELERATED EXP RATES and it's gotten to the point in which "0.01%" exp was gained per kill at like level 30. That's a touch too soon. I don't think RO had it that fucking bad that early.
In the core game, the peanut gallery is gonna shit up leveling even more, and based on acceleration at the present...
>Everyone's gonna be stuck in that shitty mine for 2 weeks.
Jesus christ. I don't know if I can handle such crap base classes for a month before things get better. I'm nothing without cookie cutter builds as is, but that'd be enough of a deterrent in grind to make me consider Star Wars Galaxies Emulator from scratch again.
At least that grind doesn't have obstruction.
ToS's slow as fuck recovery when resting even at a bonfire fires up my autism something fierce. I know they're trying to make people suck alchemist dick but COME ON. I JUST WANNA GRIND IN OPTIMAL FASHION WITH SKILLS THAT COST TOO MUCH SP AND SKILLS THAT HAVE WAY TOO LONG A COOLDOWN
If you put it that way, yeah, Linker sounds pretty good for Pyro. I'd have no idea, I went Pyro1 and Psycho2 myself. Don't work that great together, pressure on the fireballs isn't that great, but Psycho has insane damage by itself. Swapping with Fireballs is nice, though.
Ok, so the reason to play as str cleric/priest is because these classes doesnt really have that much offensive magics and you spend a lot of time whacking things, right?
But what if you equipped a rod instead? This thing says it does magic damage. Wouldnt using a rod be better because that would mean I could go full int to buff my skills' damage AND the rod's basic attack?
The only thing sorc C2 gets you is a slightly stronger demon. With how minions act, I personally think quantity > quality as far as summons go. 9 stupid monkeys is better than 2 + 1 really strong one imo.
>sapphire sells for 8k as a material to the vendor
I know it crafts tha red quality shield but is it really that rare?
can I jew someone out on it
not him but that's not -that- many.
I've gotten to rank 3 in the space of like 5 hours playing with a friend. he decided bokor sucked ass so he wanted to reroll. squire's the only one there that's actually highish rank that would take a couple days.
Psychokino should be between pyro and cryo as far as damage is concerned. I'd say 4 deeps, 2 support, 4 utility, 1 tank.
Deeps is on par with pyro if you take cryo + psycho though.
you're going to run around for 21+ seconds so you can do shit damage when your offensive spell comes off cooldown? Why not just make a meme barb and actually do damage off cooldown
>can't get thru Masusolem 3F
>everything kicking my ass despite full plate peltasta
>no parties on 2/3F
suffering... And going back for the couple side areas yeilded like half a level. it aint enough when top floor is 91+
I need a reason to keep going....
the extra skill ranks in summon doubles the bonus damage and defense from stats to 1.4x, and you also get 5 more levels of cool exploding bats
also I'd assume the big sorcerer demons aren't as bad as bokor zombies, since you can actually kind of direct them. and you can directly control the things with mount, too. I'm not too interested in the little fire dude because he doesn't look cool and I dropped Flare entirely because it's shit, so I don't benefit from setting them on fire with something that isn't fireball.
Are people getting stuck before 200? I thought this beta was going to have increased EXP rates?
I'm hesitant to bother playing this CBT if I'm not going to reach a level where I can actually test shit.
To the people playing cryo, is C3 worth it or should I just stay at 2?
so I'm a retard. The Ride UI is bugged and lists basic attack 3 times and then dismount. I used the first skill which is the same one they use when you're not riding them, so I didn't mess with it anymore. But you can use all their skills. It looks like they won't use anything except their first skill when you're not riding them.
There's a small wall aroudn 40 which is easy to get past. Around 80 you hit the big wall and it's painful. Even if you've done every quest possible. Later reports are comming in that 120-130 is the next wall and it's worse.
No one has any idea what the boosted exp is either. I've herd x3/x5/x10/x20/x30. Bottom line is it goes fast if you can quest. Soon as you grind it drops into super korea job time.
>we will actually ahve to grind just to get to chapel in the real game, no perfectly timed exp cards making you ding 40 on the first floor
i like grind but grinding before second class change maybe not so much...
The 130 instance does shit out xp but you're limited to two runs a day. Today I went from 133(30%) to 135(80%) on the two runs. Just a heads up that you have something like 1 hour and 30-40 minutes before the timer kicks you out. Clear all the trash. Recommended to bring a full party. There are two bosses Harpeija being the last one which if you kill triggers a 60s timer to end the instance. The other boss is Mineloader.
Instance cooldowns reset at midnight servertime.
get the fuck in here
lvl 110 field boss, F2 in the hidden area in crystal mines
If you were actually serious about easing up the server strain, you'll tell BRs, Pinoys, and Chinese to leave aka the usual suspects that invade every f2p mmo release meant for EU/NA
People that point out flaws are doing their job as a tester
I don't think they will keep base rates for launch. It will still be probably 1/2-1/4 of the rates we have right now. That's part of what the beta test is for. Also, there are lots of incomplete zones that might have something later
although most of them aren't low level
The Revelator has a real hard job. Just wants to be helpful and save the world, but everyone in the world lies.
>I was tricking you, I'm the boss of this field
>We were evil monsters all along!
>I didn't like you, I just wanted to walk around some altars with you and learn about the king, you sad sap.
No one can be trusted in this world.
Here's a map for people who don't know the way. It's the Unstable Area in Lot 2, 2F.
i wonder if the story will keep being this stupid or if the revelator have character development and tell people to fuck off starting the boss fights by himself instead of following retarded series of quests into obvious twists
Surprisingly, dievdirbys feels pretty good right now. Statues are fun and at least for me personally I'm seeing at least a 70% success rate. My only problem is for vakarin's attribute, which says "decreases cd TO 10 sec". I can't tell if I'm lagging, bugged, or if it's a garbage translation that's suppose to say "decrease BY 10 sec". Any higher level dievs wanna update me real quick?
>slap the Priest trainers shit around
>1100+ melee which got shit on by protection field
>he full heals himself at like 15%
>he keeps trying to use his heal when he gets low again but it doesn't work
That fag would be immortal unless you went full dps classes beforehand. Either that was an amazing bug or balance on their part.
What the hell does Stoneskin even do? What is "number of blocks you and your party" even mean? I know it scales like x4 with SPR which I max.
>bosses take forever to kill as cleric
mfw just realized almost all of my gear was broken
Also, which hat?
Finally home and starting the game first time.
Which class can wear the cutest armor?
cataphract, hoplite and scout have the bestests outfits
Lv 81 Highlander here, Crossguard is great if there is no lag and the server registers that you are actually guarding when the attack hits. Level 1 is enough but I have level 3 for the attribute
They aren't still in the game, but shepherds have the cutest fucking clothes.
Can't wait till their rank is unlocked and I can be a cute shepherd.
It increases the Block stat
which determines if you block an attack or not with the shield
it adds a huge amount so its pretty much 100% block and probably last for a couple of hits
CON 20 (eh)
Blessing 10 (eventually 15)
Blessing + Blessing Attribute lv 30 + Sacrament + auto attack
Because of Sacrament
None of you told me which hat is best btw
>block stat goes over 1k with it on
>just lasts a set amount of time
Is it chance to block or amound possible to be blocked? Lettign the tank block a load of extra damage would be nice.
this is just baseless guessing I dont actually know but I'm a peltasta and with my shield up I have 400 block shield down I only have 80
and that block was enough to block a high percentage of hits already except I need to stand in place to hold my shield up
seeing that 900+ block seems overkill already and OP since you can move like normal and I'm guessing it only lasts for a number of hits
Class Circles in green are recommended, red is not recommended, orange is meh but could be useful. The bar colors don't really represent anything other than green good red bad or null
What the hell is this buff limit thing anyway? I dont think I've ever encountered it before
I was asking if int increases increases the rod's basic attack since it says magic damage
Anyway, I just tested it and apparently a rod still uses str despite saying it does magic damage
I'd post an image but my fucking internet keeps dying for some odd reason
>Blessing Attribute lv 30
I'm getting there
Trying this for now. I think they changed it so that dual wielding isn't that great until Circle 2 of Corsair though. Something about subweapon canceling being a C2 skill instead of a passive?
So I'm a C2 Archer right now going to get C2 Wugushi, and I was originally going to pair that with Schwarzer Reiter but then I found out all of their abilities only work while mounted, which locks out a lot of the abilities available to the lower ranks, such as Wugushi Gu pot and literally everything for Hunter. I'm not sure what to take for my 3rd rank that would be of any use and am debating just becoming a Falconer instead.
You still have to go through Rogue c1 which is quite shit. Vendetta scales badly early on and Sneak hit is the only actually good skill you get as Rogue c1. If you don't like to play Archer then you won't like Rogue because quite a major part of what you do will still be your earlier archer classes.
I shouldn't be level 35 at the tenet chapel 1f right? Considering the boss and monsters here are all level 40+?
I did all the quests in the tenet gardens and the areas before it that lead to the paladin master so is there something I'm missing?
sorry senpai better luck next time
krivis is fine if you're going the INT route for leveling im going the minimal brain power method.[/spoiler
Can't wait to pop all of these EXP scrolls at around lvl 60. Haven't used even one yet. Heard that leveling kind of takes a nose dive there because the maps & enemy density sucks. Hoping to skip all that or lessen it at least.
Is it that bad? I can at least use the Ranger skills while mounted, but a lot of them seem to be redundant and then I still have to decide whether it's worth going SR/Wu C2 at all because I wouldn't be able to use Gu Pot anyway.
So which magic class has the best dps? And which magic class is the most sought for?
>open the cube I get from the secret boss in the secret area
Mostly int but some spr
I'm lvl 94 and I have like 150~ int and 35 spr
1500sp, 107 regen
The only time I've run dry is when I was doing heavy fighting for about 8-10 minutes straight.
Thanks anon. I'm trying to put STR since I just started the Cleric after getting tired of the mausoleum grind. And I'm going the cleric tree and not memelander on live anyway.
I'll tell you tomorrow or maybe sometime later.
Bleeding damage is based on STR. And Sky Liner hits like a truck on bleeding enemies. Do note the small hitbox and the lag but it's there.
It's what convinced me to go C3 on memelander. Cross Cut > Skull Swing > Sky Liner > Vertical Swing is so rewarding if you pull all of them off.
I like the Krivis outfit with the little mushroom hat you get from one of the recurring bosses. Makes me feel like an inquisitor.
Has anyone tried the waifu maker class? Can you oversell your figures to disgusting barblander NEETs?
Does anyone who has done any datamining know which of the files includes what monsters drop what items? I can only find a list of items and list of monsters but no relation between them.
>I don't believe there are many ice monsters in the game?
There aren't that many but those that you get often freeze you and then proceed to fuck you up while you can do nothing.
Could I buy the other one off you? I sold the swords I got playing my other characters because I was like "no way I'll never play a highlander..." Then I leveled one to 40 in 6 hours.
I'm not the anon you're replying to, but if you don't party and you don't grind that's the level you arrive at at the chapel. And I'm certain I did 100% of the quests to that point.
