Lots of shit is happening! ANTs are on PTS kind of! Continent lock rework is in progress! LMG changes and the Orion got buffed! Wait, what?
Update time! Victory points! LMG changes! Bounty Directive! Devs breaking the game!
A small hotfix to victory points. Will this stop the Indarside? AHAHAHA no.
The Halloween event is still live with silly hats for you to buy at 10x the price of last year's event.

Planetside 2 on Playstation 4 is live! We don't really know shit about the PS4 version, so console players, you're outta luck here if you've got PS4 specific questions.

I finished the Uppcut and the baron, what should I try to work on next? I am a fan of heavier faster damage weapons usually and I am kinda iffy on the barrage and haymaker but have little experience with the blackjack and nighthawk.
Night hawk is full auto, blackjack is like the uppercut but worse apparently? From what I can tell the haymaker is a smaller spread barrage with more ammo, but I haven't looked at specifics.
BJ gives you one extra pellet for the cost of a horrible pump time. if you don't chump them with the first shot, you die. haymaker is total meh, barrage is a shittier baron, but the extended mags are nice.
ShitHawk is for drifter jet knee cap adventures.
>'man I feel like I'm doing really good with this gun!'
>20% accuracy and 15% HSR
>best weapon stats are on the fucking autoscout
Nighthawk is a shitter haymaker/barrage, you just don't need to manually click. Fire rate, and I'm pretty sure spread, are worse.
If you've any skill at FPS's, then the haymaker/barrage are more or less straight upgrades.
ANT? What is this ANT business you anons keep talking about?
Wait, logistics? In my planetmans? Oh man, my autism is tingling. I'll finally get to do something other than driving a sunderer. I do wish the game had more in the sense of logistics / non-combat stuff.
Well unlike in PS1 where it was used to refill power at bases, in PS2 it will be used for building AV and AA turrets and hopefully/eventually more base building and resource harvesting.
Well, at least it's a start I guess.
I'm new to the game, and suck at pretty much all of it, the only thing that brings me some amount of enjoyment out of this clusterfuck, is driving a sunderer and supporting groups, rearming and repairing, that sort of thing.
>Remember at release when Galaxies would still just chill at the warpgate to ferry people around?
Yup, then the playerbase realized that the devs crammed 3 times as many bases as there should be per continent to the point that they are in walking distance of each other and transport logistics were not needed.
The devs should have listened to us PS1 vets...
Let's take a second to talk about how useful medkits are even with potato aim and incorrect Chug'n'Shrug Shuffle Thruffle technique.

Boy howdy has Emerald been even more cancerous than usual lately.
it will fail
these things are unarmed and will be popped like pinyatas left and right.
also, there is hardly any incentive to protect mates driving these things as they're merely an afk cert farm for retards once deployed
i for my part will c4 these shitters rather than protect them
Is vulcan for harasser is even worth buying anymore / does anyone know if any time to kill stats exist? I tested it out in VR, and it felt pretty similar in terms of time to kill to the memekeeper, only difference is that memekeeper has range advantage.
Let me show you the average fight bigger than 1-12 that I've seen lately, regardless of faction.
>Enemy has 60%+ pop and enough tanks to literally clog the path to A
>They zerg steamroll until your faction decides to stop them
>Then instead of having a fight your faction pulls EVEN MORE TANKS and kills all the spawns, restart from 1 except now it's your faction with the tanks and zerging and instead of getting shelled in a spawn it's your team doing the shelling, fights continue to be shit
Is it seriously too much to ask for a 50-50 fight without there being tanks out the ass/MAXes/airniggers?
Can't count the number of times I've flanked an enemy position with a sunderer and asked people to spawn at it over regionsay and got nothing.
People in general are so goddamn clueless that 90% of them might as well be fucking bots.
This game fucking sometimes, man. I was about to farm the shit out of some VS if it weren't for the quick action of a hero.
Maybe this is more to your taste
>all those people saying GRB
>it literally has 60 people using it
>across the whole ded game
>600/167 has 4% more DEEPS than 577/167, and is widely regarded as the best NC LMG damage model
>780/143 (after spinup) has 4% more DEEPS than 750/143, and it's still underpowered
No. While anchor definitely is a huge help, you still need to hit two shots instead of one, and if you pause for a bit to line up the second shot, any non-retarded ESF is going to boost off and start convulsing.
However, valks, libs and gals don't have that kind of maneuverability, and wouldn't get OHKd by a vannie or FPC anyway, so having higher DEEPS, as well as being way less penalising for missed shots, makes the prowler vastly superior at that.
The only time it was best against ESFs is when they accidently made the velocity increase from lock down 600% instead of 60%. That was the best 2 hours of PS2 for the TR.
They sure fixed that shit fast though.....then shortly after left ZOE in the game for 6 months in its wildly OP state.
And people wonder why TR have a victim complex.
>They sure fixed that shit fast though.....then shortly after left ZOE in the game for 6 months in its wildly OP state.
Quit crying you faggot, one was a design fault, the other was a typo.
It's like the difference between an ex quake pro with arbitrarily high stats and fastmemoryman, surely you wouldn't expect the devs to treat them the same way?
Is it normal for vehicle and air aiming to feel very sluggish? It seems like there is a quarter to a half second of lag between when I move my mouse and when a turret or aircraft actually responds. Same thing happens happens in AV and AA turrets, but not the MANA deployables. Are they supposed to be as responsive as aiming with infantry? I consistently have high framerate so I know that isn't the issue. Do I just need to git gud?
They're the cockgoblins of planetside and have the best traits and weapons, which is why all the mlg players play VS.
If you enjoy montages, wubstep, and tryhards screaming in your ear that you're doing it wrong, play VS.
Nobody really tells you how to play aside from Wisdomcube but I think he quit
You just kinda derp around with a bunch of bluemans and shoot at redmans and purplemans
Sometimes you get shot by your teammates but at the end of the day you're still a space burger chasing that elusive bonus check
Also the jackhammer
hold right click to revive and left click to heal
friendlies who aren't at maximum HP have a partially-empty bar over their heads, and are generally spamming voice macros asking for heals.
as an nc, it just kinda pisses me off that i dont have a gun like the sva/orion/battlegoose. its not so much for their OPness, but for their versatility. NC weapons are so goddamn specialized that you have to constantly rekit if you want to go against these vanu shitters that can just use one gun
what am i supposed to do as a heavy? sure the godsaw and gausssaw are good at range, but they're fucking garbage cqc. okay, so ill go pull my cyclone. A completely different gun that fires completely different. But now I've lost all my ranged advantage.
I just want versatility with NC. They can be fun because the guns are really good at what they're designed to do. But unfortunately, the game doesn't usually play out that way.
Don't know lmgs m8, I do know that your nit going to want to use the saw a lot however. Use whatever has the closest to a 143 damage model for versatility.
>T-thanks anon, it is always a warm and reassuring feeling when you know your team has your back when you try to be a logisticsbro for them
this type of ANT promotes credits to your certs, but you're not much of credit to the team
that's the fundamental flaw of PS2.
the logistical mechanics of PS1 were by far more team oriented than any of the crap that they're tossing out now
>these things are unarmed
ANTs have a turret slot, which comes with a mining laser as a base, but can be replaced by an actual weapon.
>You know it has some of the worst horizontal recoil right?
It has effective 0.36 horizontal tolerance with foregrip equipped. This is long range assault rifle tier.
Orion for example has 0.54 effective tolerance.
Thats without headshots. Just pure damage output.
200 and 167 damage weapons drop more DPS on range than 143 weapons.
Thats how i feel except I play TR.
Every time I play VS I always win except we usually win a little too much and kill the fights. Therefore when I play VS I spend more time looking for fun fights to ruin rather than fun fights to participate in.
>We are going to try a few things that I think will actually help a lot, though they are fairly straight forward. First, I want to surface achievements more. Make goals more clearly apparent to new players so the "Welcome to Planetside" effect does not deter them so quickly. Second, we're actually going to add a lobby to the game, so when you enter, it isn't disorienting and throwing you into the frying pan, causing you to go through all these load screens to get were you really wanted to go, etc. I can't wait to share more details on how we will be implementing that. I hope you like it. As a Planetside fan myself, I think it is super cool.
>Second, we're actually going to add a lobby to the game, so when you enter, it isn't disorienting and throwing you into the frying pan, causing you to go through all these load screens to get were you really wanted to go, etc.
S A N C T U A R I E S
The zergfits are dead. All the good players that used to be part of them have split in to small elite outfits. That leaves noobs and shitters to either run squadless, or be lead by someone so green they don't even have a mic, let alone command chat certification. Once one of these new players actually gets good, they naturally want to find a small elite outfit so they can learn advanced skills like destroying your own vehicle to deny kills.
The metagame of player management is dead, and caring about stats killed it.
Ok, so I'm getting pretty close to 1k certs, about 120 to go.
What should I invest it in? I've been playing mostly infil and medic and have both almost maxed. Been trying out engie and raping ass in a Magrider, but I'm not sure that's my thing.
Flying is out of the question because I don't want to grind 3k+ more certs just so I can stay in the air for longer that 5 minutes.
I've been trying out the Vandal and like it alot. Should I get it? I love going out as infiltrator and just running around knifing and sniping NC scum.
Max out your medic tool.
If you absolutely want a weapon, try out the Terminus. If you're not bent on any assault rifles, get the Commissioner sidearm.
Never play infiltrator again.
Medics don't have to worry about teamkilling when the enemies' going all AC3 on your ass.
I would be on board with this if it were some WW2 shooter where wear and tear will kill bright colors on tanks. But this is PS2. Nanomachines build these tanks brand new the moment you order them, and eat them up shortly after they're destroyed. Why do they just build them with dulled colors? Is this what buying pre-shittified blue jeans feels like?
It's especially silly looking at stuff like the Vanguard which used to be this super bright, colorful burgerbrick of rebellious freedom and LOOK AT OUR COLORS, LOOK AT OUR EAGLE, FUCK YEAH AMERISHA and now it's just a generic looking modern grey tank (as they tweaked the model a bit as well to get rid of some unique texture parts).
Vannies used to look like this.
Remember, having empire logos on vehicles is too much to ask for.
This can't be blamed on the players. People naturally gravitate towards the play style that favours them the best. It's Daybreak's fault for not providing more incentives to lead large platoons. Even in the old days, platoon leading was largely a burden that people didn't want.
Leading a zerg is not only extra effort with no reward, but it actually punishes you because surrounding yourself with sub-optimal players means you're going to die a lot more and hurt your stats.
It can't just be blamed on the statwhore mentality. It's poor game design.
>tv sucks I hate everything on it.
QUESTION TIME /PS2G/
If they released a camo bundle that restored the old, bright faction colors as well as give you plain faction logos, would you buy it?
just accept your fate rebel scum, the devs made us op on purpose and there's nothing you can do about it !
>walk at door
>press Q at corners
I havent died to a mine besides when someone jihads them in a group of allies in probably a week, it only takes a millisecond to spot at corners before blundering through like a hungry american at a buffet.
I already got maxed medic tool and a comissioner. I'm not a fan of any repeaters except for the Sirius.
What do you suggest I do then?
I know Infiltrator isn't good for anything but fucking about, but I really like fucking about.
Yeah but they stick up a foot and are big and red. Betty and prox mines are grey and blend in with the ground. Claymores are easy as shit to see, I dont see how people so easily die to them.
Here's how the average TR typically uses claymores:
>Be at tower fight where TR is getting zerged (pretty much always)
>Run out top floor doorway and drop claymore off of landing platform
>Multi-Kill+ every time
Here's how NC/VS use their mines:
>Place mine at random ass fucking base 6 hexes behind the front lines
>45 minutes later get 1 kill
But they ALWAYS glow and don't insta-splode.
Claymores do INSTANT damage so you can't just run past and be safe.
>EHEHEHEHEHE PRESS Q NON STOP ANON XDDD PRESS Q NON STOP XDDD
>vehicle color changes
Remind that TR vehicles look absolutely fine, because gray in one of their primary colors.
NC vehicles (at least ES ones) would look a million times better if the gray was turned into khaki, matching their infantry color schemes
>Claymores do INSTANT damage so you can't just run past and be safe
They also have a longer activation range and do more damage so you can't skirt the edge of the blast and survive like you can with Betties/Proxies.
All you gotta do is get in a big fuck of fight. Wait for that push to get the point and toss it a few seconds later. Exp for days, any you actually help your team win a fight.
But why wouldn't you want her to do it?
I think that just for one day nobody should play any faction but Vanu. Just everyone be Vanu.
So then hopefully Sony or Daybreak or whatever fuck they're called understands how much of a fucking awful decision it was to add a faction that prides itself on being better and then never nerf them under any fucking circumstances. Fucking HORSESHIT.
I'm done with this, I'm fucking done with this game.
I'm tired, every night, EVERY FUCKING NIGHT, EVERY FUCKING DAY the same bullshit. I'm done.
It's ridiculous. And you know what? Vanu will always say "oh it's because you are bad".
BULL FUCKING SHIT. When I play Vanu I do substantially better, SUBSTANTIALLY! It does no comparison.
I think all heavy assaults should be given the same fucking guns, equalized - all stats everything.
Make them carbon fucking copies .
That way I will never have to say "oh Vanu heavy assault is better".
use the optic that works best for you, 1x is the one with less percieved recoil fuckery, the other ones get more of that the more x you get, but it don't matter get what works for you
Consistency is key, it also depends on your FOV, if you play at full retard 74 then 2X is probably going to be better. The way the game calculates sensitivity for each zoom level completely ruins muscle memory if you switch often, pick one and use it across the board.
Runspeed is the same for every weapon and tool.
But the GD-22S has always been better than the Anchor.
You're not seriously saying 4% higher DPS is better than a much faster reload and better accuracy/recoil, right?
I know right, just look at this enormous impact in real world usage that massive nerf had. oh wait
this took way to long
Ok, let me see if I can end this micro shitstorm I started. I'm only BR 10 so I'm not even looking at the anchor or even EM6 right now. I'm just looking for something that I can swap out to if needed for close to med fights since I'm pretty decent with the starting saw in med to long fights.
>ran over someone who was trying to get in
G22 EM6 (because 200 bullets mag fuck yeah) saw s (150 mag but has tacticool upsides with an rps small penalty) anchor if you wanna be full tacticool, and git gud with the SAW for close range
People who think Vanu is OP don't know the history of Planetside. In PS1 the Jackhammer, MCG, and Lasher were the only endgame weapons. The MCG and Jackhammer COMPLETELY outclassed the Lasher because the Lasher would fucking spray everywhere. Vanu players had to adopt superior skill and strategy to survive.
Even to this day, the Lasher will always lose to the MCG and Jackhammer, but because PS2 has more weapon variety, the Lasher is no longer holding the VS back.
Vanu once had to work twice as hard as the TR and NC to achieve the same results. Now that there's a more even playing field, VS are naturally going to dominate.
>Someone actually gives a fuck about accuracy?
Accuracy alone is a meaningless stat, because it can be statpadded easily by shooting at maxes and harrasers.
If you want to judge if player is good you need to look at LPK (shots landed per kill) and SPK (shots fired per kill).
For example : If someone has 35% acc/hsr with 10 lpk/45spk on a 143 weapon it's a statpadding shitter, but if he has 7.5 spk/23 lpk with same acc/hsr you can assume said player has a really good aim.
also thank you vanu zerg for contributing towards my sticky aurax. I never regretted running out of nanites so much before
>and the Orion is still the best LMG in the game, albeit in a different way.
Nah the best LMG is now MSW-R.
Orion - 0.40, MSW-R 0.35
>Effective horizontal tolerance with foregrip
Orion - 0.54 degree, MSW- 0.36 degree (two horizontal kicks!)
>Maximum damage range
Orion - 10m, MSW-R 15m
Orion - 540 m/s, MSW-R 580 m/s
>Cone of fire
MSW-R - 0.35 with 0.05 bloom, Orion 0.40 with 0.04 Bloom (for the first 5 shots MSW-R is more accurate cof wise)
You have no excuse for being bad anymore shiTR senpai
>People who think Vanu is OP don't know the history of Planetside. In PS1 the Jackhammer, MCG, and Lasher were the only endgame weapons. The MCG and Jackhammer COMPLETELY outclassed the Lasher because the Lasher would fucking spray everywhere. Vanu players had to adopt superior skill and strategy to survive.
>this selective memory
Yes, what you said was true at release, but then Lasher 2.0 happened and a single VS with a lasher could clear a hallway.
Meanwhile VS had the only AA weapon that could reach the flight ceiling on all continents; the Starfire. Let's not forget maxes that could fly, and the only MBT where the driver could gun as well and you could magmow an entire courtyard clear of infantry in a single pass. Remember when they had to rework the magrider to actually take damage from running over infantry to counter balance that?
Let's see, what else? Oh TR had burster maxes as their AA. The flak could not reach the flight ceiling on any continent except for one. On any other continent, enemy libs could literally sit still over a TR base and freely cluster bomb the fuck out of them. While their MBT required 3 people to be as effective as the other MBT's were with only two people which meant that they had less bodies available to do other things on the battlefield?
Yeah the VS sure had it rough back then, that's why they're better players today.
I'm just not used to retards clumping this much together. I mean TRID and TFDN are pretty terrible players, but I've never gotten that many kills with grenades that fast before. I don't use grenades much though, so that might be it
I have an excuse. I've used weapons pulling straight up or up and to the left so much I've completely forgotten how to handle recoil up to the right. so last time I tried I couldn't hit shit with the MSW-R
here's mine. And I've pretty much had the things equipped since the game launched. engy is my most played class too
VoGu and CSG are cheesy and tryhard, but they are generally decent players.
F0G, on the other hand, are shitters carried by instagibs, warping and lack of hitbox, and they should all die IRL.
>15m max damage range
>580 m/s velocity
Why doesn't daybreak update the tooltips?
Salty bads, their leader is a salty shitter. They have few decent MCY's on alts.
They are good at infantry, they aren't laggers and they don't spam MAXes like most outfits on Miller. They are ok in my book. DESSPA might be suffering from mild autism though. I've heard he wrote a 500 pages (!!) tactical guide for every base for KOTV during the early days of PS2.
Cyka blyat )))))))))))))))))
I'm doing the same, but as infantry. Whenever i see a real lowbie i leave him alone or let him kill me and i dunk on wannabe MLG shitters trying to farm newbies as HA's or bolt shits.
Why are the rage tells I always get so fucking stupid?
Post your good rage tells, I want to see some real salt please.
>ya 6x vagina
It's incredibly hard to give any kind of verdict about the LMG changes, because thanks to victory points, balanced infantry fights are now much harder to find. Also because hit reg is shit, FPS has halved and 160 ping is the new norm.
>log in for a bit
>get a shit load of kills with the butcher
> log off
Man that was a good session. I really love hip firing this thing now that they improved it
god damn it, it forgot to add this in as well
>Dumbshit ally throws a grenade just as I spawn in at a sundy.

Fine, if you want to fuck around, medic isn't good for that so you may as well go full faggot. Buy/cert into any of the following
>Stalker cloak with crossbow or Black Hand
>EMP grenades with bandolier
If you want to actually be a credit to your team, motion darts are top priority, otherwise whatever
This patch is fucking unplayable.
Done with this amateur horse shit until they make an announcement that they're aware of the issue.
>removing A point from every tower in the game
what is the point of a tower if you don't even have to attack it, it might as well be a giant cock made of nanites sticking into the sky
oh many maybe this will be the patch that fixes all the performance issues i've gotten since last patch that sure would be nice of daybreak to actually fix their game hahaha right guys?
My game was running decently for a couple of days before the patch, and after the patch i dropped to ~30 frames across the board during pretty much any fights and randomly, especially during combat, even more especially when I'm about to shoot a mans, my game will completely freeze for a solid 5 seconds at a time either which generally gets me killed or fucked up pretty bad.
>tfw flash suppressor on my CARV-S
A fairly controllable spray of lead with no flash or tracers is surprisingly great.
Go for it. A lot of people hate on flash suppressors, but on controllable weapons the no flash/tracer can make you hard to track down, particularly on Hossin.
I have a GTX980 and this patch absolutely assrammed the game into unplayability.
Not running like shit, not random jitters occasionally
Full on skipping like 40 frames every half second. It's so fucking bad.
It took me some time to understand what he was talking about...
This nigga "ordered" me to not destroy his spawn beacon
When I informed him that I was wearing blue, not red, he said NC are still TR or something and kept rping as a fucking grand petty admiral third class honor guard or something
This was after I outsniped him in the process of destroying his beacon with the
>tfw any time you're run over by an ATV it's always an infiltrator and always VS
Don't forget the ones where a br100 infil takes his br100 engineer friend, and destroy all the sundies whilst cloaked.
LOVE those guys. Battles get so much more epic when that stuff happens, especially when it happens within the first 5 minutes of a fight.
Still looking for a regular Prowler gunner on Emerald, someone EST who plays often. Voice chat required, in-game or external. New players welcome, would prefer you upgrade repair gun asap.
Tank's certed out except for weapons: Last ammo upgrade of AP cannon and Memekeeper. Vulcan and Halberd need upgrading too.
I'm really confused by something. I unloaded on someone with my SAW and there's at least a half second delay between when I shoot them and they shoot back, but they ALWAYS manage to kill me in what seems like 1 to 2 shots. Am I wrong or is something fucked up in this game?
Didn't screencap it, but..
>You killed [SomeChineseShitter]

>WHISPER: 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11
Guys I recently grinded to 1000 certs on my TR but I have no idea what gun to get for muh lmg directives. Should I get the t9 carv-s or the t16 rhino? I'm mainly looking at medium range and I heard both of these got changed in the recent update.
I just read that last part in an asian voice screaming "NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN! NINE ERREVIN!"
Haven't played PS2 in a LONG time. How bad has it gotten? I really stopped playing after they nerfed the Deci. Yeah it was a bit strong at the time but they completly destroyed it and it sounds like from what my dad told me they made it p2w by nerfing guns and adding new op ones every other month or so. He hasn't played for about 4 months though. Now reading this thread they got rid of the faction colors and emblems? Sounds fuckin stupid.
>not being able to trade having weapons in a sunderer at all and reduced troop carry slots for a secondary utilitarian use?
>no actual combat engineering, building and repairing bridges, performing maintenance on stations and turrets other than plain repairs?
>bases needing fuel?
>bases having limited stocks of nanites?
>using the roads already mapped in the game as supply lines, enemy presence on those roads would cut the supply chain and starve out defenders of resources / ammo / fuel / etc, forcing the defending force to either call for backup or relocate to launch an offensive on the blockade, causing the attacking force to gain a force advantage on the siege to gain momentum?
>no overheating shield generators that need to be maintained by engineers in order for the shields not to drop entirely as they sustain constant fire from vehicles?
Why does this game have almost none of the FUN aspects that are very particular and subjective to my own personal preference bros? ;_;
You might be entirely right. I never played the original planetside either, which brings an abstract kind of sad with it.
Those are just some random things I tend to mentally masturbate to rather often.
Then again, with my tingling milsim autism, I guess I should be playing TR instead of trying out NC and realizing how full of literal glue eaters NC is.
Not necessarily to that extent anon, but you make a good point, balancing that idea would be complicated once we factor in the retards, you're right.
But maybe, just MAYBE (and yeah I'm being entirely too hopeful here, I know) it would slowly create a culture of actually thinking things through in the playerbase, instead of base fights turning into rampant grinding shitfests where everyone just keep throwing themselves at the enemy with tanks for lulz and kill rates.
They'd burn through their own resources before bleeding the base dry if it worked like PS1's NTUs
Too bad PS2 Gals still can't transport medium and light vehicles
PS2's a disappointing PS game and a skeletal MMOFPS
I don't remember them completely removing the NTU drain for spawning vehicles. They did significantly reduce it. The best way to drain a base was still to force the base to self-repair by destroying shit.
>instant action earlier dropped in into the action
without a fucking drop pod and kills me
>instant action again after the alert
>drops me way the fuck up here
well fuck you too game.
Yup, that's along the general line of what I mentioned.
But not entirely either, if it was to be just plain out penalizing people for being shitters, well; for one, my idea is not that only good players should play (good in terms of just how good they are at killing shit, or surviving, or what have you) but rather provide venues for other play styles, say, someone is terrible at fighting, but could be a valuable asset to his faction by driving logistics forward.
To just penalize the playerbase into doing things differently would be just as stupid as the current gameplay feels to me. That would just be trying to shoehorn a particular play style instead of providing the tools for the player base to create new tendencies and perhaps change the meta in a way that isn't just pure 720 mlg noscope inane bullshit.
The current gameplay seems to be more than enough for the regular player base, and that is fine with me. Personally I don't particularly like it, but I think that just changing everything would be detrimental as well, since that would turn away the dedicated player base that PS2 has, be that small or big. Not really my idea, just developing ways to attract people with other interests into the game.
I think he might be referring to the idea of bases being drained of resources needed to create more vehicles, specially if some type of supply line is implemented. If that happens you wouldn't be able to create vehicles on the spot, thus they would either have to be dropped by gals, or moved to location from another base.
Bypassing blockades and geographical obstacles
That and needing to drop ANTs to refuel a base
>Is vulcan for harasser is even worth buying anymore
>I tested it out in VR, and it felt pretty similar in terms of time to kill to the memekeeper
you aren't close enough. vulcan is king of close combat.
>suck at this game for months

What the fuck? is this what I have to look forward to every time I play now?
Okay, let's look at this supply line thing.
Each cont has 9 facilities (barring Esamir, which only has 7).
Then you've got large outposts, the number of which varies wildly based on cont (Indar alone has about 13, while Amerish has 10, Esamir has 7, and Hossin has 8).
And then you've got the small outposts, which I'm not going to bother counting cause there's a fucking lot of them.
So how does supply work for all these bases? What do you do with them? Do only facilities get power? Do you implement power at every single small base?
That's why PS2 feels so barebones. All there is to do is killwhore. Respawn logistics are limited to bringing a Sundie because of redeploy hopping, Gals or Valkyries if in a platoon. There are no bases to refuel or drain or ANTs to drive or intercept or viruses to install or purge or LLUs to transport or intercept or PS1-style gens to drop or repair to cut off or restore a benefit.
The combat aspect of the game is adequate. It's carried the game for three years. There needs to be more to do, and it can coexist with the combat.
