My damage ratio is pretty much fine, but I tend to lose a lot in it. Just happens. It's a tank that only really performs well when everyone completely ignores you and instead decides to have a tea party.

The only "advice" I have gotten is to camp in one spot and jerk off sniping, which is so fucking tedious and boring when I could do the same thing in an LAV-300 and have a higher DPS and more mobility with less chance of being spotted by one of the 90 Swingfires zooming around to flank my sorry ass.
If there are superior russian steel in your tier let them go first, this way you can punch holes in the enemy without senpai noticing you as much. If you're the best top tier MBT then push the city parts of the map and always make sure you have an escape route after you belt out a round. You get a get out of jail card in the way of a smoke grenade, use that shit.
The thing is, even if I do try to provide support fire, I'm the one who gets targeted the moment I'm spotted. It's understandable. When I am against Starships, they are the ones I target first too, because they are free money/rep compared to actually putting the effort and aim in to damage something like a T-64.
You WILL be spotted, because you're a Starship and if you're anywhere but spawn you're probably gonna be spotted.
Well the weekend bonus was nice, but now I think I'm gonna take a break and wait for them to fix shit. Every single game comes down to matchmaker now. Last 5 games, each was decided by who got an extra top tier tank/platoon. Or in this case, who got actual tier 7s and who got bad ones.

I just tried being support fire at the back of my team, and even though there were 4~ tanks in front of me with less advantageous positions, the enemies focused their fire on me and my weak spot while my team plinked at them.
People rally do not like Starships, or just see them as money pinatas.

And fucking yes Starship has its assets, gun handling is fucking mad (Try the Sheridan to try out the opposite), aim circle is as good as on lav-300, and the alpha is crazy for this tier.
The fucking way to play Starship is to to a place with solid cover close to enemies, and do the BLOP-HIDE dance, and thats fuckign it. If you are trying to do hulldown with a weakspot that large, and you know that its a weakspot, then you are a fucking moron, and go back to playing wot.

There's practically nowhere you can effectively "hull down" in a vehicle that is spotted through walls by most opponents and has a weakspot the size of a small Eastern European country.
I've tried your strategy and all it really results in is the entire enemy team throwing a shitfit and aiming for me over anyone else.

Facing the terminator head-on, you can also aim at the base of his turret where it connects with the tank body. Near the slated plate smack-dab in the middle, there are two sections of the turret ring exposed. If you pen those, you do guaranteed crits
Also forgot, T72 and T72A's gun mantlet is bugged. On the cloth portion, there is no armour. Even autocannons can pen there for full damage.

AI aims at the center of your gun. Poke, pull, they wiff against cover, pole, shoot, bait the next shot. They'll never shoot your exposed front alone and hold the shot until they can "see" the center of your turretring. Abuse that to the fullest extent.

Sometimes the bonuses from retrofits and crew get bugged, and the reload time always takes 92% of the original time, even if with crew and retrofit bonuses it should be less than that. Which is annoying as shit since you can't tell when that'll happen. Some people are speculating that it might actually be a bugged feature, not just a bug.

Did you check your event log from windows? More often than not that might give you a bit more info on what's going on.
They patched that into 7 and 8 as well. So unless you take the time to filter out these updates you're sending it as well.
Do a rightclick on your "computer" and select "manage". You should find the event viewer there. You should find events for your system and there you have logs of what's going on on your system. Or maybe pic related to open it. Never used windows 8.1.

No-one is implying that, but the game is about new generations of tanks. The Centurion and T-54 were arguably the first real MBTs which is why they can be in the game. The T-34-85 and M4s are horribly outmatched, barring the super shermans and T-34-100s at very low tiers as TDs.
Can you imagine going up against a T-54 with either a T-34-85 or E8? Disaster, hell even autocannons in the game would have no trouble going through a lot of their armour, and it's not like their speed is any better.

T-34-85 (well the Chinese clone) will almost certainly be the Chinese line's Tier 1 for which I think it would be just as capable as the other tier 1s.

Its a teamgame. After the first 6 matches in the chieftain i had 3,5 kills per match and 2,9k damage and lost all of the games. Then i got my double with a match where is got fucked at by atgms at the start with doing 0 damage.
Not too knowledgable about this stuff so I'd have to look up what was done to that thing. They did mention the Type 58 in that Type 59 post which apparently is the 34-85. Guess we'll have to wait for them to add the third dealer.

Gvosdika is fucking trash. It's more accurate and has better aim time, which means fuck all because of the shell travel speed limitations (even slower than the M109).

The more tanks you own the more free xp you get. The best MBT commanders are on arty, particularly Juan. Upgrade your base's shit and prioritize what gives free xp and crew xp.

On NA everyone goes to whatever their favorite flank/spot is. They get to a safespot and poke for a minute or two. At some point they realize they massively outnumber the flank they are against and commence to steamroll the enemy. If this happens for both teams at once you get a kinda nice fluid battle, but usually one team recognizes it much earlier and simply collapses upon the other team in a stomp.
Basecamping is pretty uncommon and sporadic, usually caused by MBTs driven by the retarded setting up behind TDs and such because that makes sense to them.
Heavy stalemates where each flank is evenly matched usually comes down to individual players trading shots well, but again, this is not common.
I almost never see basecamping, but I do see a lot of top tier MBTs that camp behind the AFVs and TDs so you get some kind of weird role reversal where the rice paper tanks end up pushing while the MBTs snipe in the back a lot of the time, but I assume this happens on both servers.

I just have the ones I currently play favorited. I only have three 3s, two fours and all the fives I'm playing starred. That and the Challenger and prems, but I just play them once a day. Still over half my tanks are not favorited.
Makes sense to me considering there is no reason to ever sell a tank. Using favorites allows me to easily see the ones I would actually want to play.

Add the my.com launcher to steam, end the my.com task in task manager and start it through steam. The launcher needs to be started via steam or you will have to end the task and start it through steam.
If you stack multiple module damage bonuses and "penetrate" with HESH/HEP, you will do a lot of module damage.
Otherwise, HE is for chipping away at targets that can't otherwise be damaged, or hitting targets that it can fully "penetrate" for more damage.
Unless I'm flanking, I go into MBT on MBT fights with HE loaded. If you know where to aim, you can reliably hit for 3-400 damage a shot while you wriggle and bounce AP shells like no tomorrow in T8.
You get credits for selling a tank. If you're not going to use it, you may as well get paid.

I've also that when you get the stock engine, you can do sick turns with the brakes and even 180s when you install the power steering

You get 1/8 the credits needed for the next tank or less. You also get bonus rep for having tanks in your garage. The only tanks 'worth' selling would be a tier 8 that you found to be trash, like the Warrior.
With infinite slots and bonus rep for each tank there's very little reason to sell anything. Especially when credits flow like water already.
I was the same. I rushed to Chieftain, didn't like it. Thought I'd try out Leo 1 and loved it. But it doesn't seem like the rest of the line plays the same, maybe I should just stick to light tanks.

I've wondered this. I've definitely seen it pile up to 200 a few times, and I think I've seen 400 once. I dunno if there's a cap, if it deteriorates over time, if the rate decreases over time or if premium comes into the equation at all.
