honestly dont understand why people complain about difficulty in blizzard games
Blizzard aims all of their games to the casual market (sans SC2 but they killed that off in cold blood). They are not meant to be difficult, balanced, or competitive. If that is what you are worried about you shouldnt be playing a fucking watered down version of MTG turned phone app. Its like playing LoL and complaining about imbalance and the company monopoly on the esports scene, The games flat out are not made with you in mind.
>face hunter makes me mad as fuck
>decide to make a taunt deck
>never see a face hunter again
Nice rigged game bliz. On the flip side I'm 2-0 against secret paladin for some reasons.
I've always hoped for an Ahn'Qiraj adventure, it would be a dream come true, the nostalgia is real.
I would like it too
But I think Ulduar and ICC are more likely just because it has more than bugs and probably the bosses have more pre-made art for them to steal uhhh repurpose
no that would currently be secret paladin. Bots have literally taken it to legend
are you high? nat pagle, thrillhouse, lorewalker, gruul, hogger, and all the other unplayed leggos.
Saraad is actually somewhat used in control decks and the occasional tempo mage.
Counterpoint: This is fucking blizz we are talking about
Actually no wait I know EXACTLY what the fuck they will do
Some Burning Crusade adventure so they can hype up WoW: LEGION at the same time by making people remember Outland
Without a doubt, that's what will happen.
so grind arena for like a week or so, then you should have enough dust and cards to make whatever deck you want to play.
no it doesn't. look up the definition of underused, retard.
>playing a game that isn't good
You aren't making any sense. If it's not worth spending money on then it's not worth your time. Yes Blizzard are fucking Jews but it costs what it costs.
>If it's not worth spending money on then it's not worth your time
That isn't entirely true, HS is great for a game here and there to fill in some time, but it isn't worth money because it's a horrific investment. My time while eating or watching a show means little.
How can people stand to watch trump? He's cringe and extremely boring.
>le value face
>all this facehunters getting rekt by mill rogue
If you are a facehunter i seriosuly hope you don't do this
Ulduar Adventure hype
If it's not Ulduar I swear I will buy a dragon dildo in mlp colors
has anyone seen this? its like hearthstone with cooler animations and better balance. Thinking of transferring over with the current shitty state of the game
If i mulligan for my early minions, I have nothing to play around duplicate.
If I mulligan for my better minions, I have nothing to play at all and lose board control.
Either way I get fucked. I have to waste a utility minion like aldor or owl to keep some control of the board
Here you go the deck is made to beat aggro and slow decks. My aggro techs are loot hordaer and refreshment vendors, i also run lot of draw to make your deck more consistent but it doesn't matter since you will alaways win the mill game.
but then it would only combo with knife juggler and it would still take too long to actually kill your opponent or even do significant damage before the rope burns.
Minions having a specific attack or mana restriction would be better, it could even make them cost 1 less then
Why is flamewaker a card that's allowed to exist? It's beyond broken with all the cheap spells they can get and it also limits new mage cards in the future.
Explain why there is no viable counter to freeze mage
WTF HAPPENED WHY DID THIS SUBHUMAN MONGOLOID CHINK CHANGE "TO BE HONEST" TO "DESU" FUCKING SON OF A TAIWANESE WHORE
DESU MY ASS YOU FUCKING WEEBSHIT
>Autism the post like always
>9 mana heal for 14, deal 3 damage to the enemy per turn, summon a 6/6 each turn
Why do broken as shit cards like this exist with no counter
>tfw you're grinding with faplock but you played too many hunters and now you're scared to press the button
What site is this that records your shit way better than fucking Blozzard?
Should I dust my second Big Meme Hunter? You wouldn't ever have to run two, right?
I don't think you realize this, but we're all swimming in the river of shit that is card game. A legendary cost 900 dust to craft in duelyst and guess what, you can put 3 copy of it in a deck.
>you will never get to experience what life without Aspergers feels like
This game went from 88% luck to 110% luck, its total irrelevant what kidn of meta deck plays against echt other, it´s always 100% luck, no matter what card you play..
tldr : sold my account on ebay for a huge amount,
yeah some stupid fuck bought my account for 380 bucks while investing 50 looool
>Things that never happens
Unless they have an immediate effect like battlecry they honestly aren't, there's so much removal now that they're killed off that turn
the problem with kids like you is
that you know deep down in your heart that HS is a dead game
but you keep on playing and hoping tha everything will change
and blizzard will fix this RNG and nonsense
but in the end it doesnt even matter.
smart people like me installed HS on a new battlenet account cause yep you never new...
stay mad pleb boys and sell as quick as duck
>mfw vanish against a paladin with a full board and two avenge buffs
I think he rage quit and walked away from the computer because he roped two turns after that and came back to a TCL
If Blizzard is against auto-squelching, then why did they make almost every character sound like a sarcastic asshole? With the exception of Thrall and Magni, every emote from every character sounds like they are being a huge dick and it is honestly one of the more frustrating parts of this game. Losing to bad RNG, bad draws, or insane draws from your opponent and then having them rub it in is what makes me shut this game off for the day and I think that many other people feel the same. Yeah I can still squelch them myself, but then I still get to see their hero portrait light up over and over again, knowing that my opponent is trying to be a jerk.
I was told it had too much HP.
how much HP would be fair?
>mfw my spellslinger gave me sacrificial pact against the last jaraxxus I played.
>Kill both challengers
>Kill even fucking boom
>Lose because LMFAO FUCK YOU DIVINE FAVOR
>Midrange durid above sekret paladin
I call BS
>playing against priest
This is the most unfun, rage inducing class.
>nigger thief priests that bm and rope you
there is no worse hell, I hate these fags
>le coin doesn't give you an advantage maymay
Looks like another face hunter baby needs his diaper changed.
He's really not that bad, if anything his bombs could be changed to 1-3, but I've shifted towards the stance that he appears better than his is due to other 7 drops being crappy.
I want his bombs just to deal a static 2 damage to a random enemy
it's not that he's that broken, it's that it's literally impossible to even predict what he's actually going to do
he could hit your face for 2 damage
or he could clear off 2 5 drops for free.
that range of possible effects is just too ridiculous.
>appears better than he is because he's better than everything we have to compare him too
That sure makes a lot of sense my friend.
Face it, he's not balanced. He's far too good value and it's not value that can only be achieved in specific scenarios. The RNG doesn't make up for it. Countless times I've seen and endured games completely turned around by the play of Boom. You can't make an entire deck around countering him, if you don't have BGH or silence on hand you're quite possibly about to lose board control.
what he means is that the other 7 drops all suck
there's nothing to play in that mana slot except boom
he is really powerful, but honestly, any minion above 6 or 7 mana or higher needs to be that powerful to even be played. look at every high cost minion, they all have to be able to turn a board around alone to be viable.
The only thing I'm losing to right now consistently are control warriors. Secret paladin are kind of touch and go and basically comes down to hoping I draw finishers early enough before they bring out Dr Balance and his cronies.
>>appears better than he is because he's better than everything we have to compare him too
Go flip through all the 7 mana cards and tell me you'd ever play them, with the exception of a handful of class ones but other than that nobody plays them and does other things with their mana for that turn. Pretty much this >>121182437
He needs to either only get 1 bomb or have them deal static predictable damage. It's basically a reset switch right now, it's a massive crutch. It doesn't work all the time without fail but it works enough that it sees consistent play and earns a place in a lot of decks.
It feels like slight power creep to me and that worries me.
that's exactly what I was advocating here:
it's not really about him being too powerful, he just has way too much variance.
his bombs deal 2.5 damage on average anyway so it's more or less the same thing anyway.
>no mobile version
Nobody will care. The only reason I started playing hearthstone is that most mobile games are complete trash and it's a piece of common quartz in a pile of Indian poo.
>no 2 drop
If anything, there needs to be a sweeping change that lowers the value of 1-2 mana cost minions
fuck I am tired of running into fatigue warrior.
I love how blizz does not nerf cards because nerfing is not fun yet they allow decks like that to exist.
Even if divine favor only draws two, it's still value, most of the time you're guaranteed average 4. Against late game decks it's a solid 6 cards, and you think that's balanced? If that's the case rogue sprint should be 5 mana by that logic.
Battle Rage doesn't punish your opponent for having superior card advantage to you. For Battle Rage to have the draw power that Divine Favor consistently gets, you need to have a strong board presence.
>if it draws 2 it's value
if it draws 2 then it's just a basic mage card
It's a totally dead draw against another fast deck, medicore against decks that play tempo/on curve (often you will only get 1) and really only gets crazy against the greediest of decks (Handlock, CW) which according to you should have no counters at all and be perfect in every way!
I understand now, you just need your diaper changed and hand held because you can't get past rank 15 with secret paladin.
nice counter fag
sorry CW has a bad matchup for the first time in literally ever and that Paladin might actually be as viable as Warrior/Mage/Druid and it's causing your world to change
Why couldn't Blizzard give Cutpurse proper stats, like all the good 2 drop class cards ?
What the fuck is their beef with rogue?
>it's broken because it rewards a deck I don't like and punishes a deck I do like
you aren't even trying anymore are you
Flamewaker rewards tempo and heavily punishes aggro does that mean it's broken?
>Mage gets draw 2 for 3 mana
>Shaman gets draw 2 for 2 mana 2 overload
>Rogue gets draw 4 for 7 mana
>Paladin gets draw 3+ for 3 mana
Sure paladins is situational but it's completly bullshit compare to other draw spells also what the fuck were they thinking with shaman and Ancestral Knowledge
all they needed to do was keep stealth on it
this is how we know the dev team are fucking stupid or like paladin too much how the fuck do you create a card like that for an aggro deck? how control is supposed to win if he can't control you because you're still drawing like fucking crazy
paladins also literally can't remove minions until turn 4 at the earliest
did you ever play pre-GvG Paladin? probably not because no one because it was SHIT TOTAL UNPLAYABLE SHIT
>Kolentos stream right now
What does it mean to "overextend"? How much is too much minions on the board?
CW can never be broken because it's a Warrior deck silly :)))
Death's Bite being a better Truesilver is fine :)))
Bash being a better Drain Soul is fine :)))
Shield Maiden being a better GoK is fine :)))
Fiery War Axe is fine :)))
>people that say oil is good
I don't even understand this mindset. Oil has such a small amount of win conditions, and is very bad at setting them up. If you don't draw at least decently, you have zero chance of winning. You need to draw above decently/well to even have a shot at winning.
Even then you get keked by almost every deck. People that think oil shits on priest/paladin completely ignore the above statement.
Aggro rogue is LEGIT better than oil, and even then its just an inferior (unless perfectish draws) hunter
Consider what they could play on their next turn based on their previous plays.
Overextending is playing more minions than you need to properly respond to their next play
the most obvious example would be in arena. If you're fighting a mage, and it's their turn 7, you only need as many minions as you can deal 7 damage with, because most 7 mana minions won't have more than 8 hp. Playing more minions than that just leaves you open to a flamestrike, and the only benefit is some more face damage.
Sounds like you're just a very inexperienced player and don't know how to play Oil Rogue, especially since you seem to think some aggro face version is better. It's a very strong deck when piloted well and pretty good right now vs all the Paladins and board centric decks.
Yeah, that is definitely under the win conditions and difficulty fulfilling them part. You have to hunt for a 2 (x 2) card combo to even try to deal with this shit, even then you run into problems with following proper curves/keeping up with popular netdecks and keeping combos active.
I'm not an amazing player, but I have consistently been rank 5-legend with rogue for 5? months
Deaths bite doesnt heal
You fucking wut m8
GoK is a terrible card anyways, even before maiden came out, using that logic all 3 drops are broken because they are better than magma rager
Fiery War Axe is one of the only ways that warrior doesn't get overrun by aggro shitters who just spam the board with minions and hit face, it isn't nearly as effective against other control decks. I just find it funny that aggro shitters play broken decks like Secret Pally and then whine about decks like Control Warrior that never do shit in tournaments, I guess they need something to blame other than themselves when their tactic of hit face doesn't work ;)))
Have you not seen the aggro rogue deck that is slowly making it's rounds? It's been posted here once I think. Most people who have played it have had great success. (Granted it's much easier than oil)
I literally do not understand the "rogue beats paladin!!!!" meme. Do you play paladin and lost to a rogue with good draws? Because rogue definitely does well against secret with good draws, but it also straight up loses to its aggro without them. You REALLY need your preps, fok(s), and deadly poisons + flurrys early on or you're fucked. Having backstab for minibot is so fucking substantial that I can't even stress it.
What deck are you playing? I wouldn't use BGH in most decks anymore aside from heavy control decks. The only target you're going to have in popular decks is Mysterio and boom and that's only if avenge hits him for mysterio, and even then, most decks have another answer for them
>You lose against aggro if you don't draw well
Welcome to any deck ever, just because Oil isn't exempt from this rule doesn't mean that it isn't one of the better candidates to beat secret
Mid range Druid, Zoo lock, oil rogue.
I am missing core essential cards in two of the decks. If i get one more legendary to dust or a few more epics, i could be living in boom city.
Truesilver can never do 5 damage in one turn by itself. You can't play a Loatheb turn 5 against Warrior for example but you sure as fuck can do that against Paladin
Drain Soul: 3 mana deal 2 heal 2
Bash: 3 mana deal 3 armor 3 so balance :) no bias here :)))
No I play all decks and have a 80% win ratio with Rogue against Paladin this season. This "decent draw" shit that you keep spouting just makes it seem like you have no idea how to play the deck, every deck needs "decent" draws. When comparing match ups, you assume both decks have the average draw and in those cases, Rogue wins.
>You REALLY need your preps, fok(s), and deadly poisons + flurrys early on or you're fucked
>rogue needs X+X amount of cards to deal with ____
>paladin needs X
Why rogue is shit in a nutshell.
That's absolutely retarded and leads me to believe that you are full of shit.
Paladin doesn't need the card specificy that rogue does, that is half the fucking strength of aggro in general. Paladin gets a whole bunch of shit they can use how ever they want AND their 2 and 3 drops are bis.
You are literally a shitposter.
That isn't even a fucking card you retarded aggro shitter. jesus christ
>but you sure as fuck can do that against Paladin
Like that will stop them from playing either a quartermaster to buff up any 1/1s you couldnt remove in time or if it's his turn 6 and he can play balanced mystery man of draw 5 cards and put them into play attached to a 6/6 body, a play that almost no deck can answer without using a shit ton of cards. But e's balanced because m-m-muh warriors :(((((((
>being good = good draws
>literally said I sit at relatively high ranks playing almost only rogue
consistently shit since release sure
At last Blizzcon, Paladin was literally the ONLY class that never was once played in the top 32.
In fact, the mere idea of playing Paladin at Blizzcon was met with uproarious laughter by every commentator.
But please, go on about how well Paladin, the class with zero early removal, and until GvG zero early minions dealt with Deathrattle Hunter so well.
Yeah I just happened to draw good over a large sample size of games and winning the majority.
You are just very, very unlucky, if you had more luck you would win games too I'm sure!
Drain Life whatever sorry I'm not as autistic as you are about Hearthstone cards and I don't have everything memorized by heart like you clearly do
Now continue crying bitch ass Warrior tears about how they have been consistently the top 3 classes in this game since it's been fucking out and how Blizzard favors them so obviously with every single expansion all right
>slam cycles into an execute
>shield block cycles into a shield slam
>this is an unwritten guaranteed interaction
>Drain Life whatever sorry I'm not as autistic as you are about Hearthstone cards and I don't have everything memorized by heart like you clearly do
>I'm retarded and can't remember basic names, a skill that little kids acquire before age 7
I know playing aggro rots your brain but this is ridiculous
just beat a cancerdin with this deck lmao
Isn't this the scariest fucking micro machine you have ever seen?
>farming the 40 spells quest with deck with 2 mana worms and 28 spells to board clear.
>queue into some warlock that turned out to be some weird demon lock with malygos
>he emotes like a fag when eventually he is sure to win but hey I can farm the quest on his slow deck so it's fine
>I lose eventually
>4 spells left to complete the quest so I queue up again and It's the same warlock
>I start with mana wyrm coin mirror image into arcane missiles his face
>he drops nothing until turn 4 when he concedes
>I casted 3 spells that game so I have to queue again for the last one
Ayy, don't you look stupid now shitter.
I will be prepared.
It's these sorts of discussions that remind me why I should never take /hsg/ seriously. Not even that guy, don't even care about the rogue thing one way or the other, I'm just talking about the quality of the discussion itself. One guy who's unwarranted egotism causes him to autistically rage at a bunch of faceless strangers on the internet, and likewise a bunch of faceless strangers who are happy to continuously prod him and fuck with him for their own amusement. Both parties probably 12 years old on average. /hsg/ summed up.
I am ok with memes becoming cancer, at least I would get to look at the dreadsteed death animation more
>20 winds away
Was this a clever way to reference that the class you are going to get a golden hero in is Shaman?
I really miss the days in early TGT release when memesteed was actually played relatively often on ladder, you'd shadow madness that fucker and they'd concede. Truly hilarious times compared to today's garbage meta.
>Face hunter trys so hard to pop my ice block
>Alex back up and then win
why do people AFK in arena?
>get a 5 win quest for shaman or warlock
>have no warlock deck
>have some gimp shaman deck from 2 years ago
>go on unranked
>3 games against face hunters with leeroys
>1 game against legendary mechmage
>2 games against legendary hand discard druids that win in 6 turns
is there a place that i can play without playing against people with legendaries?
>implying I have anything better to do on a Monday night
Am I doing it right? I don't have any fel doges, I felt like fireguard was the next best thing. I heard being super-aggro was the way to deal with the paladin horde.
all i can do is look forward to the next week of tavern brawl where no one has their stupid fucking netdecks and there is actually some skill involved in playing this game
i cant even bring myself to ladder anymore it sucks so bad to play and lose to hunters and paladins
i know i suck but i dont even have a chance against these decks
why i'm always so fucking unlucky
>Dropping turn 1 Chow against Mage or Hunter
>25% of them concede on the spot
This making me mad as fuck for some reason. It's almost a testament to how cancerous these deck are.
Priest always has been, and always will be an anti control gimmick deck. Even when they play shit that is inherntly meant to counter aggro like dragons, they stuff in as much anti control tech as they can.
You think playing 2 fucking Lightbombs, 2 SW: Death, and Ysera does shit all against aggro? They lose against aggro on turn 5 to 8 at most.
Why would I play a paladin, mage or hunter? Their players all suffer from brain rot and retardation.
They have always, and will always be the most keked class because all they do is take it in the ass all game and then heal and then take it some more and then keep taking it and then lose. They are the "power bottom" of hearthstone.
How the fuck would fel reaver fix the problem with shaman when hunter has already taken out half of my life and has gigantic board on turn fucking 4? You cannot convince me that shaman must always be midrange in some form, lightning storms and healbots are an absolute necessity, there's no fucking way you're outracing a face hunter without a magic double mechwarper godhand.
Mage is shit against Warrior in general. If they open any early game whatsoever, you're fucked. The only way for the Mage to win is for the Warrior get fucked with drawing 2 or more of his 7+ mana cards in the first 4 turns.
No, because Warrior is ded after patron. Only Shaman is less played on ladder. All Mage variants are good against cancer, but weak to control Warrior and Priest.
Not like it matters though, the real eternal cancer of HS still goes uncountered. Angry tree noises will win almost every match up.
Just got my first golden portrait: Warlock.
What golden hero portrait do you guys have?
>Disney buys all of Lucas Arts for $4bn
>Disney buys all of Marvel for $4bn
>Activision buys King, a dying company with a failing product, for $6bn
>in a market where no one has ever entered decline and climbed out of it
tfw you win with infinite combo
>opponent gets a dreadsteed out of coined voidcaller
>turn 4 baron rivendare 2 sacrificial pact
>full health, 4 dreadsteeds and rivendare on turn 4
have you ever been memed so hard you got the urge to try the meme out yourself?
>opened Chillmaw in my previous pack two days ago
Dust or keep?
They either need to remove the charge key word from the game, or release a chow type minion for the 2 and 3 mana slots. Chow type as in completely unusable in any variant of aggro, and extremely strong for its mana cost.
That is entirely why I crafted the deck myself and I am a fag who wants Demonlock to be a thing
It helps that all I needed to craft was another Dreadsteed. No Anime Golem Desus though. I think they are trash. Unsure if I should swap out the unstable ghoul for something else though since I'm not getting much value. Doomsayers seems like too much of an investment.
They either need to remove the charge key word from the game, or release a chow type minion for the 2 and 3 mana slots. Chow type as in completely unusable in any variant of aggro, and extremely strong for its mana cost.
Dust, they made it for the wrong class. Warrior has absolutely no use for that card, it's worthless. A boulderfist is more useful.
I only really have zoo warlock and no dust.
I was wondering what would be another good deck to go for considering i'm poor as fuck because I recently got into the game.
Any tips? Is warlock a shitty hero?
Well... that probably could not have gone better.
>mfw playing Malylock
shits fun when you get the right cards
Coming from Magic the Gathering and getting into Hearthstone. Currently doing pretty well with the mage. Playing control type deck (removing all threats, beating down the opponent a little at a time). What's the best way to go about this? Using creatures that give + to spell damage? Loading up on small creatures with taunt?
