I really fucking like this game.
Even after 50 hours of dorf no boredom in sight.
Havent even touched one of the other classes.
Why has it taken so long for a decent Warhammer game to emerge? The IP just begs for all kinds of adaptions. Am i overlooking something here?
huh yea I guess that's true
kruber never says shit in my games
yea there are some friendships
These values only work with the dwarf. To change your speed and gravity you will need to search for the exact double 4. Make sure you have rounded default on or it will not work. You should add a hotkey for next scan exact value. After you scanned for 4, add 2.4 for the scan value. Go back into your game and hold right click to block with your sword not gun. Wait one second then hit your hotkey to scan for the exact value 2.4. Add the address with the value of 4 to your list after you release your block.
Now browse the memory region and make the display type double. Right click the 4 you found and click the option add address to list. In the address box add the off set 3c0 for gravity and 450 for speed. If you have trouble finding the offset the value for gravity is 11 and speed will be the value 1 a couple addresses below it.
Now you can make a negative address for gravity to fly.
The way I find max health is by searching the memory for the byte array of (you do this by right clicking in browse memory and selecting search memory. Make sure to check array of byte instead of text. The array to scan from should be 0020F6A8 to 9FFFFFFF)
00 00 00 00 00 C0 62 40 A0 1A * * FB FF FF FF * * * * * * * * * * * * FF FF FF FF * * * * FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 * * * * * * * * F4 FF FF FF A0 3B * * FB FF FF FF
for cata the byte array is
00 00 00 00 00 00 59 40 A0 1A * * FB FF FF FF * * * * * * * * * * * * FF FF FF FF * * * * FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 * * * * * * * * F4 FF FF FF A0 3B * * FB FF FF FF
you will see two 150 values if it is not cata and two 100 values for cata. Change these to a high number. You'll need to search this four times to find the values of all of the bots or players.
how to fly with CE
BW is one of the nicest ones out of everyone, and the Soldier is hesitant but he's not outright mean. BW likes to tease WH (ex she pokes fun at him getting medical attention from a 'witch') but ultimately she's the friendliest
Even the Elf likes her
Starting to hate that shit. And just now I had a stormverim patrol literally circling the bell entrance on engines and doing 360s when they were about to leave the door. Never seen them March back and forth before.
>Oh boy, finally a good game with a general that isn't overrun with waifuposting
>Sure am glad there are no fapbait characters in this game
>People shitpost about lewd skaven now
Shut your whore mouth
>The whole town's asleep!
>Skaven are marching through the streets
>Some can be seen banging on doors trying to get into buildings
>Get up to the rooftops
>You can see that 1/4th of the city is on fire
>As you enter the tower, you can hear several explosions rock the city
The city must sleep pretty fucking heavy.
STOP YOUR WHORING AND SODOMIZING SINNER! I SHALL CLEANSE YOU WITH MY BLOOD!
>tfw didn't know about friendly fire on my first Nightmare try
Skaven? What Skaven? What's a Skaven?
You silly lot will make up stories about anything. A few rats weasel their way into the granary and engorge themselves, next thing you know everyone is screaming about absurd tomfoolery such as giant marauding ratmen.
>"I will find it, even if it takes my whole life."
What is Bardin talking about?
Aim at the head, with the charged attack that's fairly easy, with the normal swings you need to keep the way your weapon moves in mind. There are only 2 different normal swing animations, so even that isn't too hard.
Also, while the sign of landing a headshot is cutting their head off, the angle from which you hit the head doesn't matter.
on ogres either rapier charge their back over and over or use brace alternate to spam headhots (headshots better if you can consistently do it and get in front)
spam rapier regular attack to clear shit or if at range and not worried about ammo then spam brace
Does the normal attack of the conflag staff get a bonus for head shots?
Obviously it doesn't say headshot on the stat screen. But I always feel like I do more damage with head shots and vermin tend to react differently when getting hit in the head with it.
In one of the later levels, it can trigger a conversation where he tells that he's found the shop in the dwarven quarter that had the book he was looking for.
The Skaven burned it to the ground because the owner barricaded himself inside.
In maps that feature a lot of wide open spaces, I take the rapier - it's my favourite and a single swipe can interrupt two or three skaven - plus, the pistol shot can put slave rats down.
In closed spaces, it's the zweihander, and I keep close to a shielder.
How's my first orange lads?
Soldier gets a greatsword.
>farming Cata White Rat exploit
>last one up, killing a couple skaven
>spin around, OH SHIT, THE LAST SKAVEN, HE'S GONNA GET ME
>game goes down
I'm not sure weather to be thankful or not.
Because at least I've never had to handgun snipe over 24 specials in a row before ammo.
And if you're using anything else while pretending to tank shit then you'd be a shitter.
most people are saying it has nothing to do with loot rolls since those happen outside the main game.
Many people are noticing, for instance, decreased specials spawn and increased frequency of potions/meds/ammo, though wether it's a placebo effect or not is still in the air.
Nightmare is fairly easy on horn of expliots though, even without exploits. I don't know about harder maps though having high "luck" probably can't hurt.
>get heroic killing blown on a charged attack with a 2h hammer for empire soldier
>take it for a spin
>rat ogre on horn of exploits in the hog pit
>go up behind him while he's distracted with me
>land one hit
>land another hit
>dies instantly to a 2.5% chance of instant slay
pubbies momentarily thought I was hacking
bows are dependable long ranged sniping.
Trueflight if your sniping with no crowds
Longbow for sniping with crowds.
Other ranged apart from wizard penalises you if you miss.
Also its really geared around headshots.
>Everyone is still damn well devoted to cheesing it
>Cheesing it tends to create more problems with escape than actually doing it legit
>It's not even particularly hard to do the last encounter with 2grim
I don't get this community.
>It's not even particularly hard to do the last encounter with 2grim
Unless, you know, you're playing on nightmare difficulty and the director decides its time for 4 Stormvermin and a pack master in addition to the horde that's already in front of you. I'll take my chances with the escape, thank you.
why is everyone in this game so afraid of using buff potions
I can understand not wanting to waste them but when we're getting worn down by hordes and storm vermin and then you guys pass four buff potions at oliver's inn why do you even grab them in the first place
>Bomb FF a danger before Cata
>Not knowing how to throw the bomb just behind the vermin and not in their face
The alternative is for someone to take a stormvermin halberd in their face most likely. I'll much rather suffer FF ticklies and not wipe.
>TFW can't stop attacking the elf by accident
Goddammit you hunched fur-wearing little asshole, stand up.
>chugging on poitions all the time.
>Ratoger next corner
>good thing we have oure strength potions, right guys :^)
Dont be that guy, Also get the Trinket for group effect at potion.
>Rat Ogre spawns
>Pop strength pot, sharing it with my comrades
>We all throw bombs at him
>tfw Just rolled a 7 and got the ugly ass red soldier hat
Goddamnit, game, is pic related too much to ask.
>Elf joins game
>Framerate suddenly drops
>I mean, like, really drops
>Fuck, we 5 FPS now
>A million rats swarm us and don't stop spawning
Seems like someone's having a giggle with the cheat engine, RIP my computer
I just solo farm white rat cata if I want items senpai.
Anybody else playing cracked version? Playing the current patch 188.8.131.52. but there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of people playing it.
Hearing how easy it is to cheat the game makes me glad I didn't spend on it.
It's like a pen and paper game, sure you can cheat and give your self great gear, you can make some encounters easier, some people like to, some people don't
it's your experience
dude what? i just got a exo beam staff and I hate it
yea the shotgun blast is nice for hordes, but you can do it like once before you break the threshold
fireball and conflag are so much better
>complete all missions on nightmare unlocked
>still have to do wc nightmare
How much damage do you get hit with on nightmare by Friendly Fire?
It seems like nothing when it's melee. Fireballs only seem to have an effect and I shot my team several times and there was not a scratch.
Was this just made to stop BW and Drake alt fires from helping teamates?
>Ogre shows up
>Time to get to work
>Check around me real quick for stray enemies
>Pop str pot, spreading it to everyone, whip out pistols
>Get about 5 shots off before I take a hit from behind
>Turn around to find a single slave rat that came from who knows where
>Elf not 2 feet behind it trying to snipe the ogre
So if it's not currently aggroed on you it's just not your problem or what
>Your characters in Vermintide will have the option of importing them into Total War: Warhammer as heroes characters.
>This will also include the gear you earned with bonuses based on the highest difficulty missions you successfully completed.
Wait, did I dream this?
>2 level 5's thinking they can do hard on horn
>They die before they even reach the tower
After more exploitation of the game's lua, it seems it's possible to make all difficulties have the loot pool of cata.
>All the armor used by the heroes are super toned down, in contrast to the iconic over the top stylization
>No over the top comic relief or super dark humor. All the jokes are the heroes teasing each other like a bunch of office workers.
>The witchhunter doesn't even burn anyone
Am I even playing a warhammer game?
I hope they add lots more, not just in terms of visuals but content in general. I only have a few levels left to finish on cata and after that I don't know what's going to keep me playing.
Anyone got any good Skaven lore/comics?
I want a good read.
Not him but I'd like to since my table keeps crashing every game. I can work around it by rstarting the game after every 2 missions but fuck it. Are you in the autistic group? Leave a comment like "I want to gargle on Skaven cum" and lets play.
I'm looking more along the lines of this
>tfw there are only a few nightmare games
Damn it feels bad to be gud.
Holy fuck I got carried so hard in a nightmare match.
2 level 50's and a level 70 I barely did anything I felt bad. Then again I was doing my best to focus on not team hitting.
Also are there less enemies on nightmare? It felt like there was less than hard.
>Hiding from stormvermin patrol
>Grabber suddenly yanks teammate out the door
>Right into the patrol
>Everyone charges out ready to go
>A second grabber grabs me
Couldn't hear those niggers at all through the KLIK KLAK
Is this axe good? The damage seems insane.
>Devastating blow=push force
>Second win=chance of not consuming stamina when blocking
Devastating blow seems fine but more fit a shield. The rest don't appeal me too much.
'd also like to ask something. Could somebody make a .png chart of all the weapon traits and weapon types and post it in the next op? To have easy access to it and remember what the icons represent and also have the best traits for each type of weapon per class as well.
melee doesn't do FF damage
anything that isn't sustained damage won't hurt your teammates too much, but it adds up. any elf that does nothing but fire their bow in nightmare is cancer. only shoot things that are far away from your group, or are specials. also a poorly placed bomb can kill your whole fucking team.
I was kind of bragging. our group was competent for a pug, everyone knew what they were doing
had a much harder time getting a good pug for hard mode. it's a map that will fuck you over easy if you have tards
Nightmare runs are usually more successful than Hard. Hard acts as a barrier to keep morons out of most of the levels, the exceptions being BP and Horn. If you're doing nightmare W&C, it means you're with people who did Hard W&C, which is virtually impossible for your average pub.
>He doesn't pug every time
Casuals the lot of ye.
yes and to incredible effect
drinking two speed potions will make you swing a twohanded hammer overhand super fucking fast, as well as move with extreme urgency
strength potion stacking isn't as fun except when you can take out a storm vermin in one smack. Theoretically if you had everyone with a potion sharing trinket and you all drank potions you would all stack the effects of each potion you drank, overall increasing everyone's damage or speed massively.
So imagine the caliber of player you'd be finding on Nightmare or Cata W&C. Hard is a massive, impassible barrier for 99% of players; it acts as a filter through which only the finest, most refined players in the game may pass.
You're being far too generous to Bethesda's TES. This is at least on par with Chivalry and KF2 with the difference that enemeis flank you and surround like madmen.
I'm talking about the player combat.
>Click to swing
>Hold to power attack
>Click to shoot bow/spell/gun
>m2 to block
>m2 m1 to bash/shove
It's the exact same thing, the only noteworthy differences are being able to back/sidehop and hit multiple targets at once.
God damn, WAR had such excellent armor sets. Warrior Priest gear in particular, I love it.
You might not have noticed this unless you took a couple courses on video game design at your local college, but when the swarm comes you can hear the dwarf say "The tide comes and finds me ready"
He's referring to the horde of rats as a tide, a VERMIN tide, if you will
Guise I think they should make more characters, there is a long play value for each character so it would add a lot of playtime if they did that.
Also we need some sort of a crazy ass chaos realm map for diversity.
Have they given any hints as to what they are doing in the future
>get first Orange
>it's a Hammer/Shield
I mean... yeah, I got lucky, it's got decent perks and I know shielding Bright Wizards is a strong combo, but smashing shit left and right with a Great Hammer is infinitely more satisfying.
They cancelled most of the future developments due to exceptionally poor sales. You may have noticed that we stopped getting daily updates when the game is still riddled with bugs and exploits
Well, it's believable. I was interested from when it was released but was hesitant due to the small number of reviews it had, when I expected a game like this to blow up.
I mean, on paper, the idea is fucking great. L4D with gear rolling, 5 different playstyles and a much higher difficulty? But it just seems to have scooted by relatively unnoticed.
Because virtually every single lobby was BP or Horn for a week straight and they lost a shitload of players who became frustrated with poor rolls, bored of the same 2 levels over and over again, or got all of their oranges and lost all reason to play.
If you ask me they need to give you dice based on how far you make it through the level, and maybe upgrade the dice based on how well you do in random categories.
People are just going to keep running the easiest most well-known levels over and over again in order to minimize their chances of losing, because wiping at the very end is basically a total waste of ~20 minutes.
It does damage, just less. On cataclysm, my orange hammer/shield takes about 4-5 charged hits to kill anything, but you really use the charge attack for that sweet gigantic knockback on all the skaven.
I reckon there should be a reward for taking out storm patrols, to go with the risk:reward playstyle they have going.
I'd like there to be a shop, or some other form of trading goods that ISN'T running a map for 20-30 minutes and literally rolling a fucking die hoping to get the colour I want.
They also need to offer greater rewards for completing harder maps, or remove some of the difficulty from them; as you said, there's no reason at all to do anything but the easiest maps because everything else is inefficient. I'd LIKE to do W&C or WR, but there's zero point to it considering the high chance of failure for no better loot.
More upgrades to weapons that don't rely on fucking chance would also be nice. A way to specialize weapons, for instance, or simply more effects.
While I'm fucking dreaming, I'd also like a ferrari and a lifetime pass at Subway.
It did blow up from their point of view.
It sold way more than they were expecting which is why they had to upgrade their backend a couple times.
That is completely on the players though.
If play the game just for loot of course there isnt much to do.
BP was only good for lots of average loot and HoM is one of the worst long levels to run.
It isn't Fatsharks fault that people dont understand how dice work and think that you should get good rolls without going out of your way to get good dice.
Stormvermin patrols are there to punish players who aren't paying attention, I dont see them ever giving rewards.
That's what I'm talking about though, at least award normal dice based on how far you made it before you died. Got 4/8 bags? Here's 3 dice, good luck.
Just something so that a loss isn't a TOTAL waste of time, and you can still have a reasonable chance at getting at least blues or something if you can only make it halfway through a cata level.
Nightmare clan rats hit you for ~10-15% of your health. Cata clan rats will hit for 20-25% and stormvermin will kill you with 1.
You literally cannot allow yourself to get hit by anything in cata, and getting grabbed by a hookrat is pretty much instant death just because they'll drag you through a group of shitter rats that will kill you before your ES can even pull out his handgun.
Fortunately, aside from the damage increase, there's not much difference; rats might be a little tankier but if you can clear a level on Nightmare without getting downed or hit more than a few times, you can clear Cata.
Thats what EXP is for.
The problem with rewards for failure is that they will be abused especially if they are actually worth anything.
Rushing a bit through cata and failing for a couple dice would give you about the same chances for good stuff as beating a hard level.
What's to learn from the director throwing 2 ratlings, 2 grabbers an ogre, 5 stormvermin and a swarm at you?
You need to be more pragmatic about this. Yeah, in an ideal world, people would play for fun and every level would get somewhat equal amounts of play time. In the real world, however, people are only going to play levels that they believe they have a reasonable chance to get something from.
so what if the director was altered so that it never threw too much at you, but the loot tables were also adjusted to give shittier loot at a rate equal to how much you used to get fucked by director RNG. Would you not be wasting any time then?
ass-fucked runs are an inevitable part of the game, it's annoying but anyone who seriously wants to quit because they feel like they "wasted time" on such a run is being a baby
Except there is no reason at all to care about loot once you have something that works and anything on nightmare really isn't that difficult and fine to grind.
People dont play on Cata for the loot, they play on it for the challenge.
And pretty much every level is about the same difficulty other than BP and a couple of the hard ones like White Rat or WW.
Not that same guy but I knew that having random loot was a double edged sword from the start. Yes, it keeps things interesting but too many people have stopped actually playing the game and just do their best effort to rush to that rewards screen.
I'm tired of people always wanting to cheese the last section of Horn of Magnus, it's fucking lame.
It's not news to me that I hate how large groups of people work
but I'm not sure I want shit to be adjusted, like making the hardest levels easier, just to make the game less boring to loot-whore. I'd rather keep some challenging levels even if I can only play them once in a while with a few people.
Holy Shit. Playing with pugs a rat ogre wiped 3/4 of the team I rescued them and we went on to complete the mission.
Is this what it feels like to be The Kruger?
>rat ogre spawn
>some fuck aggro's patrol
>they all down after lots of fighting
>i remain with nearly full health
>start cleaning up because luckily rat got downed
>casually go to their respawn points
>ANON YOUR SO AMAZING DAM GOOD HUSTLE DUDE
feels good playing with shitlords sometimes.
Is there actually a benefit to playing Nightmare over Hard? There's a fairly large difficulty spike, but the only addition I've seen to the loot table is a piece of fucking headgear, which is completely useless and not at all what I want. It's still 2 oranges, a bunch of blues and greens.
I've always felt like there should be an option to lock loot drops to your class in exchange for less rare loot. Or maybe being able to pick any one loot drop less than or equal to your roll
The primary benefit is keeping the shitters who can't clear Hard out of your lobby. Any random level 1 elf can join your Hard lobby, but with Nightmare you're guaranteed to get someone who has at the very least cleared the level once before.
You can no longer bomb with impunity, which I find really annoying. You're also punished a bit more for getting hit, which might not seem like much, but it stacks up with a long run.
None of that would matter if the queue wasn't full of shitters who don't know what the term sword and board means, and run wildly around during hordes.
I just tried Well Watcher on nightmare a few times. What the fuck is up with the special spawns? I don't think I saw a single stormvermin but globadiers and gunners were spawning at almost a constant rate.
The bombs are really annoying in that the friendly fire radius seems to be much larger than that of the bomb's effect on the rats. So when you throw the bomb at an ogre 50 yards away, you and the whole team somehow get lit on fire.
Well ain't that some shit. I always try to shoot the bastards out of the air when I see them coming for me and it never knocks them down.
Yeah, the radius is very difficult to tell, and they're generally useless when the first thing everyone does upon a horde spawning is run straight into it. Of course, that doesn't stop anyone else from using them...
Good for you. I've been getting shitters every time I queue for nightmare. A stray bomb here, not watching their backs or teammates, rushing ahead, not changing focus to rescuing a teammate under duress from a special... it all stacks up.
The placement on the table matters a lot.
Oranges on a 5-6 are way more likely than on a 6-7
The specials seemed fine to me when I was trying and there were stormvermin in most waves.
The problem was no healing supplies.
They never seemed all that great when I tried mine out.
I would think the grudge raker is much worse than drakefires for horde clearing.
Its also pretty inaccurate and doesn't seem to do much damage.
it's similar to WH repeater in that another option (drakefire or brace) is so much better largely due to non-stat stuff
like who gives a fuck if your repeater shoots a bunch of shots when you can stand there and fire braces forever at higher damage
I sure hope you aren't trying to do it with the pistol. I don't even know why the rapier has this thing; I mean yeah it's cool but jesus christ it's useless. It'd be nice if it at least had an accurate crosshairs. Just for desperate hail mary headshots on packmasters or what?
drakefires are inaccurate, but because they don't use ammo you can usually hit whatever you're trying to hit in a few shots
drakefire or a rifle/xbow with master crafted are the best options
Uou know, I'd like to see a couple missions where we encounter other resistance fighters from other safe houses or have an escort mission of moving a a wagon of civilians with a few npc guards and if you fail the mission you get treated to a cinematic of peasant women and babies getting eaten.
Maybe the leader of the other safe house is a Bretonnian knight and is a total jerk, but he's fighting the good fight and rescuing people.
Maye have a tower defence mission where we help defend a guard tower with atate troops and toens people and we have to prevent enemy cart ( a Skaven Hell Pit Aboniation) from making it to the tower.
Flavor, I guess? You could say they're good for having a way to damage armored enemies but I find that just thrusting with the rapier is way better for that at close range, and at long range you might as well pull out your brace and get ready to fire off ~10 shots because half of them will miss unless you're sitting stock still and crouching.
>treated to a cinematic of a peasant women and babies getting eaten
In fact, one of the origin stories about regular rats being mutated by warpstone and growing bigger and atanding upright, they talk about how they initially avoided confrontations with humans but snuck in homes at night to carry off babies and small children to eat because they were weaker.
You must give all the characters (except BW) unique abilities or features
What do you give them
Dwarf: taunting the elf and it lowers her health
Wh: taunting the elf and it lowers her health
(Kruber doesn't because he is nice)
Elf: exlodes violently and dies when she is taunted enough, can be used as a weapon
Soldier gives morale
small damage, ms and attack speed buffbased on health %
dorf has increased stamina and slightly more health at the cost of a small ms penalty
wh gains a stacking fervor buff based on # of specials killed and or consecutive attacks
elf... does something
Dwarf: Can burrow strike enemies from afar
Elf: Can teleport to any location, also has the ability to walk on ropes, rooftops, etc
Soldier: Can activate a tank mode, slows movement but increases stamina and gives a damage resistance buff
Bright Witch: Can do a spinning flame attack
I can show you a glitch to do Cata White Rat easily if you want if you're just doing it for the achievement.
Unless you're doing it to play fairly then in that case...
RESPECT, DWARF. RESPECT!
So regarding adding more special rats to the game, I was thinking Fatshark should add one similar to the boomer which, if triggered, will send a horde after you. Perhaps they could work with a special which employs piss pheromones that attract rats to the unfortunate individual who got pissed on.
Dorf: Can draw skaven onto him by yelling taunts/banging his weapon on his shield.
Soldier: Gains a cooldown shoulder-charge attack that sends enemies sprawling.
Elf: Longer-ranged dodges, maybe a sprint ability?
Witch Hunter: Can fall into a religious mania, briefly buffing his speed and strength, with a debuff on both afterwards.
>tfw 18% scavanger on my braces, and 16% scavanger on the rapiers.
I literally never need to worry about ammo as long as i don't just mag dump at a retarded target.
I'm purely crowd control though. I'd actually default to my rapier for most specials except for maybe the tank if i have a strength potion.
How much would it suck being all warm and comfy tucked in bead and then you hear the door creak open and when your eyes open, you are greeted by a red eyed skaven clan rat with a knife standing over your bed hissing at you ?
Imagine if they genetically manipulated rats to make them look like mini Skaven. They could use the litterbox and you could dress them up like Skaven in the game. Would be cool as hell.
Does the WH Zweihander really fall off in usefulness, compared to the rapier once you're working with exotic quality and doing nightmare/cata?
I did a couple nightmare runs with it and it performed extremely well, even for just a green item with a good roll on a bloodlust trait. It was just surprising because I had only really used the rapier before under the assumption the zwei would be mediocre like the axe.
Probldm is, GW dose not realize that not many partents are willing to pay 900 dollars for books, models, tools and paints when they could instead pay 500 for a used console and some games for christmas or a new cell phone, bicycle, a shotgun or fishing tackle or any other hobby.
Back in the 1990's miniature war gamming was expensive but not anymore than any other hobby that could take up a teen's time, you could build an army by buying a 10 dollar blisterpack every week and slowly build and paint a unit at a time, but now we are paying more for less.
In 2001 a box of soldiers with 30 or more figures was 25-30 bucks...then it was cut to 20 figures for 35 bucks and now it's just 10 figures per box and since some basic troop units in that box can also be asembled into elites, well that means their more valuable and thus some 10 figure boxes are veing sold for 40-50 now
Further even for nasic units it's still always been optimal to run squads or regiments with at least 30 to 40 figures, more for warhammer fantasy.
End result is GW executives being dumb and not knowinf how to business...they initially tried to cash in on rich kids buying atarter sets in mall stores and pissing off the old neck with more disposible income, but have finally stretched them out too thin.
Elf: Build meter with melee kills, activating meter causes elf to pull out bow and auto-fire arrows when the crosshairs go over an enemy's head for 5-10 seconds
Kruber: Damage reduction aura, think shield wall/last stand while Kruber gives an inspiring speech
Dorf: Strength buff aura, dwarf sings a short dwarven war poem or something during it
WH: Speed buff aura, party members whipped into a zealous, purging frenzy while he loudly recites verses
In case of overlapping ability activation, the first ones speech takes priority. I choose these because it continues the tradition of ES, Dorf and WH being extremely helpful teammates, and Elf being a tryhard magnet that doesn't contribute anything useful.
The problem with the Zweihander is that the rapier just does everything it does way better and also is good at stormvermin.
Its even worse than the axe because at least the axe is the best at what it does.
Hey now, BW is a firey red headed MILF who obviously partied hard during her youth, like how most white girls age faster being out in the sun at outdoor concerts and raves.
Wood elf is technically the oldest one in the group by at least 5 centuries and is young looking and can be considered beautiful if you can get past the fact they look like gaunt pale grey aliens with pointy ears, black eyes and sharp teeth.
One thing I like about warhammer is making elves kinda creepy looking instead of the Peter Jackson LOTR shit where they look like normal humans.
Before electricity or gas lamps, most people went to bed when the sun went down and woke up with the sun.
Sure as a major city there might be some people having a night life in taverns gambling, drinking and such but most of the time medieval cities had curfews and the only people up and about at 3AM would be city watch or soldiers looking out for thieves and smugglers.
When you blow up the gate, I'm sure people are starting to wake up and by the time your on the roofs the skaven are through sneaking around and are full on attacking, and the other explosions you hear are probably cannon fire from the survivng watch towers and state troop garrisons rallying and trying to fight off the skaven.
Well I recently upgrades my computer, hard drive and all and was a level 50 before and now I'm level 1 again and I can't play normal because it's so easy for me, so I search hard as a min. And people often vote kick me in INN so I joined a started game with level 25-30's and they allgave me shit over Voip, but I ended upcarrying their asses the whole gameand even showed them the horn beam exploit still works.
I know the specials are the representatives of the clan but I kind of wanted to see plague monks in a formation like storm vermin swinging bells and have the sound of buzzing flies as their cue and have them a bit tougher than clan rats but not armored like Storm Vermin and just use knives...the monks having a weak globe gas effect if you fight them up close and being slow, bot running like storm vermin to make them different.
Making it preferable to shoot them at range or nade them
This, the dwarf seems to be in too much of a good mood. I know he's not a slayer, but not a single reference to grudges or honor?
The only thing that dose not make me quit and uninstall is when the dwarf talks about Bugman's or getting a dozen ales at the tavern.
Well, they are ninja rats from Nippon...kind of want to see a pair of non warpstone wrist blade gutter runners running around throwing ninja stars and perhaps as a balance not give them a locking pounce attack.
This, imagine if we could knock back the man catcher, less people would bitch about him.
If they could add one more special tommorow and it was in akaven lore, what would you like to see?
I think warpstone sniper would cause some players to rage quit...or how about a rat swarm?
And sometimes when there's a swarm of skaven approaching the Witch Hunter says "Vermintide!"
Possibly a meta reference to the game's name? This intrepid researcher will continue digging for clues.
They rarely leave their homelands but occasionally you have loners that decide to travel the world.
Played a male waywatcher in Warhammer Quest table top.
In the Warhammer World, Elves are dicks to everyone, but did ally with Dwarves and Humans to fight chaos and High Elves are the ones who taught humans how to cast magic, so we wouldn't have BW if not for Elves and Dwarves are pretty bro with humans and gave himans gun powder, beer and steam engines. Dwarves and Humans live closer together and often fight along side each other in war...though Warhammer Dwarves can be pretty bro, they do have a really uptight sense of personal honor and respect and hold grudges. Also since Dwarves are a dying race and lost more than half of their kingdoms to skaven, orcs and goblins, they have a fatalistic view of life and act that they know the end is coming and kind of accept it and want to go out guns blazing and axes swinging.
Elves are very much "fuck you, got mine." And are extremely racist and elitist and think they are top shit and humans are animals barely better than talking monkeys. And at best treat you like a child.
Dev Blow is really really good, as it enables you to push back stormvermin. Pretty much the ideal trait for any melee weapon. Don't actually know how it works on shields, as they are able to push stormvermin already.
>They rarely leave their homelands but occasionally you have loners that decide to travel the world.
It's from 2 ed.mof WHFRP, it's not canon anymore (after current AB release). City elf (camouflaged shadow warrior) more possible thing than lone waywatcher in WH group.
While Warhammer draws influence and inspiration from many popular fantasy sources like LOTR (and who the fuck dosent?) But they have sonce the 1980's had a unique take on it, their brand, and have they themselves inspired other fantasy IP's
Heck most green orcs we know today like from Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls and many others are inspired by warhammer orcs that deviate from LOTR which are a unique monterous barbarian race, and not just mutated elves.
Is this worth using? I know swift bows are considered bad, but the traits seem nice.
Rapiers are fast as fuck, so they have tons of potential when combined with the right runes. I love the Flamberge on the WH as well though. I assume you're still working with white items for now, but with some luck you can get some good rune combos on weapons like the rapier and ascend to godhood.
Best overall option. You can control entire groups of rats by moving around them and keeping them all stunlocked, and the strong attack hits hard has armor pierce and comes out fast as fuck
Only drawback for rapiers is swarms, slashes works well for headshots and charge attack is pretty much number one stormvermin killer. Throwing out a shot is fancy but on hard and higher it won't even oneshot regular rats even with blue and orange version.
It's so far beneath Chivalry in terms of mechanical complexity that I really don't see why you would use it as a point of reference.
>completely on the players.
No, it isn't. There should've been a stacking bonus on maps as you proceed through the sequence or random levels. People always, always, take the path of least resistance with shit like this. It's well documented. Fatshark deserve everything they're getting and everything they're losing here. They fucked up, badly; but the game is still fantastic. Slow turn around on a fix is the biggest threat to the game health now.
Yes? If you're just going for slow single target damage right in front of you, why wouldn't you use the axe? Slash is great for controlling groups of rats, thrust is good for killing specials and breaking objects
Woo, got my first exotic from rolling six.
The only thing that seems mostly set-in-stone is ranged weapon choice:
WH: Brace of Pistols
BW: Conflag Staff
DR: Handgun/Drakefire Pistols
WW: Longbow/Trueflight Bow
Melee weapons largely come down to what everyone else is using, the map and the group strategy.
First orange, thoughts on stats? More ammo and auto headshot seem pretty good. Don't know if reducing spread matters much on BoP?
Which is not how Vermintide works at all. Beyond light and heavy attacks it's completely different. Dashes, forcing parries and dodging parries, swing acceleration and dragging, matrixing. It's not alike enough to serve as a point of comparison.
I'm surprised they patched out the ability to go into 3rd person while holding a charged attack. they must have really feared people abusing such a powerful glitch
I just liked to use it to dumb poses
Why do people think well watch is that hard? Just give up on the well that you have to defend first, during the normal "hold your ground" waves, climb up the ladder thats between the 2nd well and the starting point. Bring loads of aoe and rifles, then even the well defending waves aren't that hard. Honestly the ogre is the most troublesome part.
This mission is fairly easy, even without exploits.
I'll just assume you are not a garbage shitter that exploited. If you managed to do white rat, then this is a fucking walk in the park in comparison.
So what is the general consensus on fusing items?
Should I just fuse every green piece of shit to blues and every blue to orange?
Is there any point in collecting all that stuff and not just melt it as soon as i get it?
It was a very important fix.
Now, floating gutter runners, sniper packmasters, insta spawning patrols, terrible loot system, inferior exotic weapon over blue bug, Rat Ogre gliding around like a fucking ice skater, skaven running through closed doors ... not worth the fucking effort
Just had a run with some guy who started moving during the intro cutscene.
Wouldn't say how he did it, does anyone else know?
>Getting raped in your sleep by runty skavenslaves
>They ream you so forcefully and for so long that your ring feels like it's on fire when they finally douse it with a fat wad of ratcum
You have some serious fetishes there anon
I am pretty sure there is supposed to be a patch these week including tweaks to the loot system and a lot of other fixes.
It will probably be more active after that.
First movie had some decent armor as did the dwarfs when gearing up in the third until they decided to remove it for some reason. Just that you can't cover up main characters too much because you won't recognize them then.
Also the third movie had this really annoying light over everything making it all look like shit.
They could just make it so the rats start throwing rocks at you if they can't find a path to you. Make them really weak, like a single friendly fire shot, but enough that you can't sit and exploit out of reach of them for minutes on end.
the point was that there is no reason for exploiters to be mad because all the exploits still work in a slightly altered form
on top of that you can now solo white rat on cata with a grim
