I hope we get more physical Atelier games for the vita!
Nights of Azure!
2016 will fill our vitas with yuri!
There is hope for Ayesha.
I'm going to try to convince NISA through email, use logical reasoning. Like even if people already have digital version, lots of us would still get the LE for collecting purposes.
What's more, some of use would also pay to free up 3GB space from our limited memory card as well.
>Can play as a girl and raise your relationship with girls and get endings with girls and have a pet girl who calls you onee-sama
Dragon Fin Soup seems rather interesting so far
There's lots of issues with the UI being too small or the controls feeling a bit clunky, and feeling too zoomed in
But the roguelike elements are quite good so far. Exploration is rewarding. You can cut down trees and they fall into other trees which causes chain reactions. You can pick up their trunks for I assume future crafting use. There's chests hidden behind trees, slight puzzles to solve which rewards you with more chests.
Combat is pretty decently done. You also get lots of shotgun ammo which is great for dealing some AOE damage while your dog tanks for you. There's enemy ambushes, etc. Feels pretty dynamic.
The UI is kind of tiny on the Vita though, and it's clunky to manage inventory or sell lots of stuff.
I had the urge to get the $150 tier, but then I realized that I'd be paying full price for ultimately an inferior version of an old, censored VN that's available for free, along with some goodies.
The figma seems to add a lot of value, but they are rarely actually good and I don't like Sumika.
The money would be better spent on some actual games.
Cutest otome MC
Cardia best though. She actually has personality and she is quite funny.
Day/night cycle looks decent. The sunbeams are a nice touch. At night I have to turn up the brightness to see more clearly since it's kind of fuzzy.
Summon Night is similar to Atelier in that it's kind of an otome-ish RPG. Even tough it's not outright romance most of the time, you always get to raise your relationship with both male and female allies. You can choose your protagonist's gender, but the female used to be the default one.
So as it stands, Yomawari would be the best horror game on vita.
I guess by extension, htol#niq is SORT OF horror. Sort of. Deception IV is horror-themed, but is more of a black comedy overall and never tries to be creepy.
Thought I'd get rekt by him, but he was kind of a pushover
What game can make me feel loved, and feel like i have friends?
That's a good question.
Best female friend is allowed though.
>AnS+ actually arrived a day after it shipped
>haven't even got started on replaying AT trilogy
The heroine in Wizards And The Master is pretty stacked
Why won't you trust cute anime girls?
is there a dating sim/vn where the protagonist is female, but it's not oozing the usual otome vibe? or rather, is there even one where the heroine doesn't have the personality of cardboard or gets almost raped every 5 minutes?
Possibly the best one at making you, yourself, feel loved (and not the character you are controlling) is Ciel.
Is something like 百合霊, where the protagonist helps set up multiple couples the kind of thing you want?
Yuna was a good protagonist.
think i'm mainly think of something like a normal vn/dating sim, but just swapping the genders. so the female being the proactive one throughout the routes.
>have social life
>come to the profound realization that my friends aren't anywhere near as fun as P4G tomodachis
>tomodachi days are over
>have to spend time with real friends again
>gets almost raped every 5 minutes?
You say this as if it was a bad thing.
>ps4 finally got ps3 avatars
vita is getting them soon, right?
that's neato I guess. I've been using K for quite a while as my avatar, he just had such a nice design.
This is the heroine of a game called Kind Love And Punishment.
The whip isn't for decoration.
>be a depressed wreck
>turns my life around, currently on road to a healthy life
>gave me a waifu
>tons of games to replay when I feel like it
>real life friends seem boring as shit
Guess I had a mostly different reaction.
All summon night games have have gay undertones because you can pick the gender of your character and you ca pick a lover, think mass effect but less sexual.
Any news on jp ps plus games?
I still like hanging out with friends, but I get to maybe 6-10 times a year anymore due to work and other obligations. So games tend to help me relax a bit.
>why can't they be anything more than flatties?
In japan you want to sell otome VN to many female players.
Women in japan is very flat chested and not very tall.
So a proper otome heroine only weighs about 44Kg and is about 150 cm to 160 cm, for self-inserting considerations have very slender bust.
They also tend to look sort of plain and doesn't stand out. But there can be exceptions to give them special eyes, or some kind of small magic power or ability given to the heroine so they become a little bit special, but not too much.
Besides the spinoffs, in the early ones you don't exactly pick a lover. The game gives you a hetero partner for the true (lover) end, and prioritizing anyone else doesn't give you anything.
I know that feeling. I've come to the conclusion that the assumption students kill themselves because of stress is wrong, its because their life will never be what they want it to be and they don't want what society wants for them. It just happens to be in student years people realise this
This will have physical Vita cartridge thanks to based Aksys, meanwhile other Vita games from Koei Tecmo can't have this anymore.
She's not really a sadist, she punishes them for story reasons. She's a teacher and her students are demons or something like that. Sometimes you have to punish your students, but in the romance they sometimes take the lead.
I will after "that"
That's not the case. Everywhere you go in the western fanbase you will see the same phenomenon in guys.
If you compare Kirito to Haruyuki you can see the guys prefer the slender, dark hero over someone who is less physical attractive. Sometimes it's not mere rejection but also loathing.
What? Male leads in bishoujo games are always plain looking with black/brown hair and dark brown eyes. Often self narrating of how "normal" they are while they're hobbies usually consist of video games/anime/otaku shit.
actually, the only thing that bugged me about haru was how short he was. it really made him stand out way too much in his environment, when all he needed to do was just be that weight. the height bit wasn't needed, but I still liked him better.
You have no idea how great it feels.
Otome heroines have hair of all colors, eyes of all colors, dress in plenty of different clothes, and have varied hobbies like music, dancing, painting, archery and more. They're school girls, teachers, nurses, princesses, witches, yakuza daughters and plenty of more setting. Saying they're all the same because they don't have big breasts is retarded. 90% of dating sim for guys have a brown-haired protagonist with his eyes hidden and the game starts with "My name is X, I'm in X year of school and I like video games. Aside from that, I have nothing interesting".
The magic disc ending even show the implied yaoi end for sn1. Also the game does not pick your partner. that decision is made in the first two options in the game when you decided who you leave school with.
>with his eyes hidden
I enjoy this part quite a bit. Esepcially when you play a game that actively shows what he looks like, then randomly throughout the rest of the game, after the common route usually, they hide his eyes once again. It's a tad strange.
Are you looking forward to this?
The mechanical cogwheels sort of reminds me of demon Gaze.
Because we don't need to be anything else besides ourselves.
We've been through this already Anon. Just consider it a normal thing.
Even so, there's rarely any game with a loli protagonist. I'd play a Vita VN with /ss/
Wow as someone who beated sn1 3 days ago I'm surprised with the choices here which was basically the same. I went with Hayato as the mc, Keel as the partner and spent all the night conversations with Lipre. Also why does 2 good friends who happen to be male can't just be friends without it being implied yaoi in any way? There wasn't a single time where I thought Hayato and Keel acted in any way that felt homoerotic.
Can I fug Seri? Damn sawashiros
Also, Blue King and Kuroh best boys.
There is going to be so much rivalry between Misaki and Saruhiko. I can sense the tension already.
Why not? I thought Vitagen loved Vita exclusives.
Damn Lupin is suave as fuck... I'm straight but damn he makes me smile.
I may be the minority, but I love otomegen at night. Never change, vitagen.
>fanservice harem shit
Fan service for the series, yes. No so much on the harem part.
Though I dig alternate Shirou's design quite a bit.
You're right. Unfortunately no new routes either.
I'll let him have his way with me.
I don't like this kind of Vitagen.
Sore wa iya desu.
Come one, anon. Give otomes a chance.
Get Steins;Gate. But use it minute before the sale ends so you can have it for the next and the next sale.
Souyu Vitagen wa kirai.
Obviously a typo, but pretty funny. 1 million sold would put it on par with a mainline Final Fantasy and more than double what any other Vita game has ever sold.
HAHahaha! You doubted me.
But Miniskirts and Zettai Ryouiki on high school idols truly saved Falcom.
Anyone else have Norn9?
Usually I like Sugita characters but not this guy
He is a creepy and tries to rape the cute MC
Okottemasen. Are wa watashi no odoroideru no kao.
That would be useless to me. I can only recognize audio and phonetic letters.
I can't read or write any of the japanese alphabets. So I often make mistake tsu for tu, etc.
>tfw I won't have enough cash on me to buy Gundam
Tsukihi is cutest Monogatari.
Kinda doubt there'll be too much new stuff. I don't think SCEK does much (although they did publish Xonic, lol) and with PC gaming being a lot more popular over there I doubt there will be many Korea-specific games. If anything, it's probably just localization announcements for Korean versions of games.
They are truly shameful and disgusting.
I thought they were fishing for Korean investors for a moment with that Q&A thingy. It looked like an investor meeting.
It's still going on, a new trailer came. More stuff coming in the stream
Yeah I more or less figured Korean localization stuff overall.
As for PC dominance though, I do remember that Sony did say they wanted to open a studio there or something. Not to mention that they have an entire college course on Playstation in Seoul and apparently PS4 is up YoY there so they are gaining some ground there. Like with China we just have to wait for Korean devs to really jump on board I guess.
Someday, Sega will care about the West and releasing Phantasy Star games.
It's only been 3 games. Once Aksys and Idea Factory see how badly these 3 otome games sold, these will be the last otome games translated. Enjoy these 3 otome games all you can otomegen, because it's all your going to get for the next decade.
Life is not fair anon
And it's rare to see people who want to play a yuri game
That's because most yuri games are boring ass sol shit. Also there are many more otome games than there are yuri so otome games have a lot larger diverse pool of games because there are just so many. There are sol otome, but there are tons of other fantasy/historical/weird shit for settings as well.
I just met up with the giant fish boss in Totori+ but he absolutely wrecks me.
What should I do?
I went through this game blind so I have nothing optimal. I'm in the tenth month of year four with semi-bad gear
no you can't
because now you can't use traps
and I'm attacking you directly
Do you know how offensive that it is to non-binary mentally challenged* folks? It has been used as a slur for decades against the mentally weak. Your not going to get into THESE free-bleed, "down with the patriarchy!" bedazzled, knickers using that language.
I currently have my chims making Migraine Medicine or whatever, which have both wound healing and melty on them. I also got a bunch of revival items, too.
The problem is my two other team-mates don't do enough damage and my N/A bombs are pretty ineffective.
What level should I be before fighting this thing (and would I be too late if I wait until the middle of year 5 to try again)?
I think Code Realize and Amnesia will sell well.
Maybe not Norn9
Will there be more older women with big tits in this game? This is important.
Practically 1/3 to 1/2 of the game is post-boat stuff, and the difficulty ramps up a lot. You gotta make good equipment. A good start is to use the highest ingot/cloth you have available.
PS Plus Japan Free Play November:
- ロケットリーグ (PS4)
- The Swapper (PS4/PS3/VITA)
- Woah Dave! (PS4/VITA)
- LUNATIC DAWN III (PS3/VITA) ※初代PSアーカイブス
- KILLZONE: MERCENARY (VITA)
- ファンタシースター ノヴァ (VITA)
- 勇者のくせになまいきだ:3D PSP® the Best (VITA)
That's kinda stupid to have the player build the boat in year 4, then.
But I guess I'll just look for some dragon scales or something.
Currently, my highest available ingot is the one which required Sunny Stones.
>Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
>Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi
>Sweet Fuse: At Your Side
>Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi
>Code:Realize: Guardian of Rebirth
>Norn9: Var Commons
Again, I doubt they'll be stopping if they only do a couple a year. It doesn't hurt their bottom line.
Most of the time I think it's a labour of love with Aksys. They wil probably make some of their fighting games subsidize some of the cost of bringing over more otome.
>Ichimatsu will never let you into his heart
>Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi
Forgot that one for 2014 as well.
I don't know, maybe. Mangagamer does the same with their bigger licenses. According to them their bigger licenses and their kusoge sell the same so they use the money from their kusoge to fund them.
If anything though, they're VNs so it shouldn't cost that much to recoup costs.
Yeah, and the original point of IFI was to communicate with the guys localizing their games. So Aksys might have an easier time getting more from Otomate now.
Am I suppose to continue with only 4 member in my party for the rest of the ice dungeon? (Post game) The mini boss on the first floor was already hard as fuck.
But Code Realize has
I think there was a shortcut you have to open. The one locked door at the start of the dungeon.
You might open a shortcut to bypass that door before the next boss. Anyway it's not a big deal. Be prepared to fight bosses with only four useful members for the most of the postgame due to class-specific doors
Remember to make a NISA Account, Anontachi.
If you don't have NISA account, you won't be able to accumulate points.
I was able to save 7 dollars for my purchase, since I has 700 points available.
If anything they started looking into it in late 2010 and their first Hakouki was released in Feb. 2012. So they've been working steadily on them. In a way it's almost an immediate reaction.
there's a cum guzzling whore...with tits
>Seriously breaks my hear that she is related to Noire.
Everything will be fine.
That reminds me, I need an English-version screen cap of this now that it's out.
You talking shit about Noire?
>I want to have sex with Noire while NTRing Uni.
You're the worst.
Sometime last week, Koei's tweet about it went out on the 28th.
>Sophie and Omega Labyrinth come out on the same day
>Criminal Girls 2 the week after along with Neptune vs Sega girls
>Umaru and Valkrie Drive after that
>FFF Advent in 2 days
>thinking of picki g up Lost Dimension since the concept is cool
>realize I just want to play Persona 3 and Persona 4 again instead
>realize I'll never live in the world of Persona
For real, though, is Lost Dimension any good?
>l. Be prepared to fight bosses with only four useful members for the most of the postgame due to class-specific doors
Yo what the hell man, thats some bullshit. I guess I could go Valkyrie. Joker, Sage, and Etoile
