None but I was in the store and almost bought the complete series of Sailor Moon and Sanford & Son
What do think will happen at PSX and why?
What we won't see:
-Agent, that's E3 material.
-Anything we just saw at PGW, except for one more Uncharted trailer.
What I 'm guessing:
-VC4, the new trademark makes me think
-More Yakuza coming over
-Drawn to Death, Let it Die, among other updates of Sony games
-Square Enix updates like SaGa, plus Project Chrono Trigger Setsuna
-More previously PC exclusives coming to PS4
I started several current season ones but I've been playing a lot more games recently, so I'm 2-3 episodes behind.
I looked it up but I can't find anything. Will it be in the upcoming Winter season?
One-Punch Man. Gonna start Owarimonogatari later this week.
Looks like SharePlay is getting an icon on the homescreen
I was listening to the Gameinformer's Dorito Pope interview podcast, and they way he was talking about the possibility of Kojima being at the 2015 TGAs was interesting.
Dorito and Kojimbles are pretty close, I won't be surprised if the new Sony partnership is announced at the TGAs.
Rockstar didn't even attend that E3; an Xbox executive announced IV via a tattoo. Last Rockstar-related appearance though was in 2014 for the GTAV next-gen remaster, at Sony's conference.
No you can play any PS Now game that is part of the subscription (which is most of them). You won't be able to play some games, like Catherine or Deus Ex HR, that are only available as a separate rental.
I've tried the 7 day trial as well as renting Catherine for a month, and it worked well. I couldn't even detect any lag with a fighting game like Street Fighter. Your mileage may vary though -- try the trial and see if your connection is good enough to make it worthwhile.
The only thing that bothers me about the PS Now subscription is that it's $20 a month which I think is a bit too much.
Accepting all friend request, but don't hit on me silly bois -:)
>Missed Worst Korea conference
>PlayStation South Korea has announced a press conference on November 11,
Hell I completely forgot to watch out for the PGS news from being busy at work. Was anything of interest even announced or shown? I heard there was a bit of morpheus stuff but otherwise it seemed quiet.
>It's a MOBA
They make great Waifu's but their games are whatever. Feel bad for Hyung Tae Kim.
Trying to decide between these. Which game is less shitty?

I like the controller, and it's not much more expensive than the console I'd otherwise have to buy. I'm a sucker for Star Wars.
Sorry, I meant with the themed console. Fixed pic.
Oops, I got both from the website and picked the wrong bundle. Photoshop is hard.
I'd get the Infinity bundle if you like the look of the PS4 and controller.
Battlefront isn't good if you're looking for a good shooter. It's got a lot of problems that really eliminate skillful play. However the graphics, sound design and pandering to Star Wars fans is top notch. I didn't enjoy the beta that much but I'm still considering getting Battlefront just because it appeals to me as a Star Wars fan.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is a decent game, but probably not appealing if you don't want to get involved with physical collecting and creation aspects of it. Also the Disney Infinity Boba Fett sells for about $40-50 on ebay because you can't buy it outside of bundles until early 2016. The other DI stuff will sell for about $50 total so if you end up not liking Disney Infinity you can just sell the stuff to offset the cost so for that alone I'd suggest the DI bundle
Next numbered Dragon Quest Game could be Mobile Exclusive. Phones are already more powerful than the Vita. Makes me wander if Sony next handheld is just an Xperia they make exclusives for.
It also has real game sections. 3.0 had the combat redone by Ninja Theory so it's totally passable now.
That bundle anon posted comes with a "playset" which is basically a few hours of missions and cutscenes.
I'd definitely call DI 3.0 a "real game"
Haven't played 3, but it always seemed bland to me.
You just have a base world to mess around in and more if you buy toys. Like a real toy box. Good for kids though, and I think it's the cheapest toy game,
Actual DI fan here. They're fairly good games if you miss PS2-era 3D platformers, which I do. Hardly any 3D platformers come out these days.
I haven't tried DI 3.0 though so I can't talk specifically about it.
Yeah that's an okay comparison, is improved from Lego games though which pretty play the same since the PS2 era.
It's a shame they botched the PC version where they made it a F2P game that's not actually F2P, otherwise I'd tell you to try that out.
You're kinda on the right track. DI campaigns are set in open worlds, so of course there's a lot of jumping/running around and searching for collectibles if you're into that. You don't have to.
But 1.0 and 2.0's combat was similar to LEGO games. Apparently 3.0 really changed things up though.
DI games' Toy Boxes are a whole different story though and are why most people play the games. The Toy Box aspect is kinda like Minecraft I guess. I've never really played random people's levels.
How is One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 for someone who fucking loves One Piece but has never played a Warriors game? I saw it's on sale for PS4 and Vita, and I'm wondering which I should pick up.
Is there any chance at all of a physical copy of GR being released due to backlash or is he talking shit?
What are some other fairly long games with tons of boxes to check?
She's a character in the Monogatari series. Her sleeves are too long and she's just generally spooky dooky. Unlike the other characters she is really pale, has black eyes and her motives aren't quite clear.
Not with those legs. It's all part of the spooki illusion.
Black Ops 3
I hope that Youkai shit manages to get big in the west and nintendrones fall in love with it
I will drink their collective tears once Level 2 announces the rumored Youkai watch PS4 that is currently in development.
I preordered fallout 4. I'll plat it in a week and trade it in for a different game.

Next game-related purchase: Metallia DLC for Disgaea 5
Next game: Fallout 4
Next PS4 game: Gravity Rush Remastered
Very pleased that Kasumi's costume comes with the PS4 version.
We're not going to get this game after all, are we? I don't want to make an asian region PSN account just for the DLC.

So much crap on screen, so little of it is important to the task at hand, why is it there? Were they just high as fuck on indie juice that they thought they had to have all this stuff here?
And the map, one of the most important things in a roguelike is the ugliest thing in town and not always accurate. It should be simple and unobtrusive you should be able to take a glance at it and know everything that you need. It's pretty obvious that the people who designed this were not familiar with the genre at all.
I'm glad it was free.
>all those waifufags who were hyping it up days before cause coverart
Played it for about an hour, it's not for me.
Didn't even realize breaking shit lost you money, was in the negatives.
It's like a combination of bad game design with a mixture of not incompetent explanation.
Yea I get that you're proud of making your game, now put the control scheme as the first thing in your instruction booklet, no not a "things to do so you won't die" page. Do people really not know how instruction manual should work anymore? The most commonly referenced stuff (like controls) are first not hidden on page 24. It should never take a conversational tone while explaining game mechanics, it should always be an informative tone.
I love this type of game, but I cannot properly articulate why this is bad without screaming everything. Even the opacity of the map pisses me off! THE OPACITY OF A MAP!
Should I get a PS4 or upgrade my PC? I wanna play Bloodborne and TLOU and prefer using a controller for games like MGSV and other third person games, but that's possible on PC, too.
Basically, I'm torn.
Flip a coin.
Either you are gonna wish for one of the two outcome to come true before having the result, and you have your answer, or you dont and by flipping a coin you resolved your problem.
Nobody can really decide for you, but you're not really giving much information.
What games do you want on PS4? How much does that come to?
What are your PC specs?
What are you planning to buy, game wise, in the coming months?
How much money do you have, are we talking "I can buy a PS4 now and upgrade my PC in a few months" (or vice versa) or "I can only do one of these"?
That's the problem, I really don't have a preference, which is a shame as what you're saying usually would work.
You're right, I'll elaborate.
>What games do you want on PS4? How much does that come to?
I'd probably buy most third party and first party titles, so Fallout, MGS, Bloodborne all spring to mind, money doesn't really matter because they usually amount to the same because Steam a shit (well, except for sales but the same could be argued for anything if you wait long enough).
>What are your PC specs?
My PC hasn't been touched since 2008, it's running an Intel Q6600 and AMD Radeon 4800, I'm surprised that it managed to run games into 2013.
>What are you planning to buy, game wise, in the coming months?
Fallout, TPP, Ground Zeroes, Bloodborne, The Last of Us, Hitman, Dark Souls 2. My fear is not getting a PS4 and missing out on exclusives, I was extremely hyped for Bloodborne before it came out as I adored the original Dark Souls.
>How much money do you have, are we talking "I can buy a PS4 now and upgrade my PC in a few months" (or vice versa) or "I can only do one of these"?
The PS4 would certainly be easier, but I could probably do both after awhile. I'm an oddity in this day and age who actually enjoys sitting back with a controller for certain games, however.
If you're willing to get third party games on PS4 and don't really care for getting an ultra high end PC then I'd say go for the PS4.
That lists enough for you to get it now and be satisfied for a while, I'd say. So if playing multiplats on PS4 is fine for you then I'd say just go with whichever offers you more exclusives that interest you.
If you end up wanting to upgrade your PC so that it can run games better than PS4, then you'd benefit from waiting anyway since as time goes on, doing so will be cheaper/you can get something more powerful than if you bought it now.
Just noticed in Disgaea 5 that in the Edit Interior mode, you can change the character in charge of a facility (like netherworld guide, hospital, recruiter...), and that unique char have lines for each job.
Desco is now in charge of bringing more people in my army, Etna is torturing people, Flonne is healing and Void is garding the regular netherworld while chatting with the Carnage guide Goldion
Honestly if your PC would have a hard time/not be able to play new releases at a solid 60fps and decent settings I'd just get a PS4.
Additionally if you're into multiplayer, playerbases are much bigger on PS4. I know a lot of people are jumping ship from PC to PS4 for Black Ops 3 because CoD's PC population dies after a month. Advanced Warfare has like 6 game modes you'll never play on PC because nobody is playing it
I own a Wii U, so I've never been a graphics whore, but I do wish PS4 developers would lower the resolutions in games to try and achieve 60fps, but it shouldn't bother me too much. Thank you for the advice.
Yeah, that's the thing. Last release I got running decently was Splinter Cell: Blacklist, only now are games really starting to show its age.
As for multiplayer, the only games with multiplayer that interest me are on the Wii U, honestly. The PS4 would be more so for singleplayer multiplats, but that is good to know in case something piques my interest, thank you.
Fuck. New info on the last 2 playable characters for Star Ocean 5.
Junichi Suwabe as Emerson and Ayumi Fujimura as Anne.
the jew model looks like poop
I'm considering Infinity for that reason. I've never been a fan of shooters in general, and I hate online multiplayer shooters more than anything.
Why couldn't EA make at least a half-decent single-player mode?
What are you looking forward to next year and beyond?

I'll probably import the US release unless they confirm a date and physical release for EU before it's out there. CPEx got a nice LE here but it's like 6 months after the US release and I'd already imported so RIP.
Fuck off, people have been complaining about that shit since ME1
Tell me EXACTLY what the dialogue choice is. Don't make me fucking guess how you're going to word something that might be totally different than how I'd say it.
mite b cool.
If they actually put out some quality games that ONLY works as a VR game then I might check it out.
If we get the usual stuff, just with VR-enabled, then I'm not interested.
Hoping to finally try VR--PSVR in particular, since that seems the nearest--when they have a concrete launch date and stores start setting up demo areas. It sounds great. Those who've tried it shower the experience with praise, though I need to see more built-for-VR games like Rigs and Robinson. Walking simulators will benefit immensely from this I imagine, so I wanna see new adventure games.
The prospect of a game like No Man's Sky in VR is a dream, but that makes me wonder if it would be immersive enough to ignore the obvious procedural generation.
Watcha listening to slaves?
I won some Turtle Beach PX4's ages ago which I used a lot with my ps3.
I still use them with my ps4 but sometimes they randomly seem to fuck with the wifi in my house so I don't use them as often.
When I don't wanna deal with all that crap I just use the earphones that came with my phone, they got a mic on them as well.
Too bad the mic died recently after 3 years. I still love them and would buy a new pair if I wasn't a poor NEET.
I have one of those coming to me as well, will be nice for youtube and netflix, the DS4 switches off every 20 minutes so it's annoying when I need to pause to go for a piss or something.
Dunno why the PS3 one wasn't just compatible out of the box.

I started that 7-day trial for PS Now because suddenly my internet connection can handle it. Played Puppeteer, BioShock Infinite, Earth Defense Force, and De Blob. All were impressively responsive though with some heavy artifacts throughout BioShock and EDF (worse than it usually looks).
This would be the best shit ever if PS+ included the service. No way am I paying an additional $20 per month on top of the regular subscription.

Anyone else get Darksiders 2 and find its causing the fan to enter hyper drive mode?
The air blown out is not very warm at all, but the fan seems to boost up awfully often. Playing other games like Destiny are fine so it isn't the ps4 still.
Also don't forget to recream your Noire.
The ACC in TPP is the reason I redid my thermal paste, and it turns out its just the area is not well optimized so it has unlimited FPS causing the ps4 to go into hyperdrive. Meanwhile running around in the game with way more going on runs fine with no fan issues.
I am guessing its just an issue with the game but see no reports of it with a quick google and was curious if anyone is running into it.
In software update 3.0, did Sony purposely gimp out the media player? I heard it was good for playing mkv torrents, yet I am unable to get anything other than mp3's and photos to work, everything else seems to just give me a weird broken icon next to the file I was attempting to play. I only recently got a ps4 so I'm not familiar with this.
>Tfw no glorious PS3 media player on ps4
>best girl playable
I knew she would be, but now I'm buying for sure.
So what's the consensus? good?
Haven't seen anyone talk about it.
Haven't tried it myself, and I don't plan to; the art style is too unappealing. Too bad if the gameplay isn't great either, because I like the idea of playing an alcoholic heroine.
Millions of people were used to it from the 360
On PS3 I could play MGO and Street Fighter for free. Now I have to pay for it. It's bullshit. Especially when these games are riddled with microtransactions anyways. It's too expensive only sticking to SP since you need to buy several games a month to keep yourself occupied.
Your post makes no sense. You can play both of those on PS3 for free. Go play it on PS3, faggot. YOU bought a PS4 knowing full well it would have paid online, it's your issue, faggot.
>Can't formulate an argument because of getting asspained so badly because of something he did to himself
>Has to fall to insults to save face
Nice going anon, you really showed me.
>It's too expensive only sticking to SP since you need to buy several games a month to keep yourself occupied.
Spoken like a true NEET
But the game isn't very good. The only thing I can say is that it captures the essence of DQ very well.
This is one of the reasons I guess.
Is farming the King Metal Slimes in Arba Town the only method to leveling up quickly? This is taking forever and I've only finished Aurora+Jessica with Psaro+Terry 30 levels behind.
>When primitives find a spaceship hilarity ensues.
Not a surprise. Usually the old men in star ocean games were in their 30s to 40s. At least as twice as old as the protagonists.
Also Welch seems to be the secret character seeing as how she is going to be one of characters in the webcomic.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to level a Lalafell tank class
I've had a ps4 for like a week and have too much on my hands already. tales from the borderlands, walking dead, re2 revelations (local coop fun), uncharted collection, warframe which seems cool and getting bo3 (for fun/coop). and get used handsome collection, fo4, farcry 4, destiny, last of us, star wars, or gta v with buy 2 get 1.
what the fuck do I do ps4g? my head is spinning. so much to play and do.
also which 3 games should I get? I was considering handsome collection, fo4, and last of us or Star Wars.
You sound like a normalfag, so go ahead and get Destiny TTK, GTAV, and Star Wars I guess.
Destiny and GTA will last you quite awhile if you enjoy them, and Star Wars is fun even though it's pretty brain-dead.
FO4 looks terrible; don't get that. Destiny is a lot better than Boredomlands. Last of Us is movie game trash.
>got myself a new PS4 for 280€
Can't wait to get my hands on Bloodborne.
I'm the guy who responded to him. I assume he's talking about Battlefront.
Yes, we both know the game is pretty brain-dead, but he sounds like a normalfag that doesn't mind bad gameplay anyway, so he'll probably enjoy it for all of the SW fanservice.
So many assets in GR2 look copypasted. It hardly even looks like a PS4 game.
I really hope they pack content into this one and its not a 6 hour long story plus time trials like the original.
>So many assets in GR2 look copypasted.
I don't see it. Look at the GR Remastered screenshot in the bottom right and the one above it. The amount of colour alone shows that there's clearly a ton of new assets.
Beyond that, we know the map is an entirely different location than Hekseville.
>hardly even looks like a PS4 game
I legitimately don't understand how anyone can say this. The environment detail is massively more than the first game, as is the drawn distance and again, use of colour (the original heavily used single colours mostly to mask the short draw distance and low resolution since those wouldn't work well with higher detail, and it was a good compromise that worked with the style).
Either you're massively overestimating what the Vita (or whatever benchmark you assume it looks like) is capable of, or you're massively overestimating what the PS4 is capable of.
How does this "not look like a PS4 game" to you?
Kat and Ravens models, the envrioments, the enemies are largely the same.
Sure there's nicer stuff like lighting, and you can see a bit more detail on buildings, but it could easily work on vita if they toned them down.
The two models look nothing alike. Look at the screenshot you posts, hardly any single asset in those shots are even the same. The enemies are still varied and probably more than they were in GR.
>It's completely different because they changed the colors
Yes the draw distance and other small things are improved. But the geography is numbingly simple, there's nothing in any screenshots that look like they could come close to stressing the fideity of the PS4 in any way.
It looks like they started development on Vita then transferred to PS4 and then added things like "new colors" since there weren't limitations. Like how Tearaway on PS4 took out jaggies.
There is much more detail yeah, in that trailer it also looked like the city was MUCH more alive, but look at all the jaggies, I don't know whats going on it looks like its 720p upscaled to 1080p or something.
I mean obviously its not out for quite a while so its got a long time to get better looking but yeah, just look at Kat in that image for instance.
I mean thats not gonna stop me from playing it if is a good game but still.
The only REAL problem I got with it is the lightning.
Having it all bright and sunny is great, but it feels like its just a little to much, like its so bright everything looks kinda washed out.
>Kat and Ravens models [...] are largely the same.
No, they've gotten some visible improvements.
>the environments [...] are largely the same
Absolutely not. Go back and play the first game. The environments in 2 have magnitudes more detail.
That greentext is clearly not what I said.
Look at that image and this one and say with a straight face that the first game has the same level of environment complexity as these two images. You fucking can't.
I can't speak for "stressing the PS4" but no, it doesn't look like it started on Vita at all. You are massively, massively overestimating what the Vita is capable of. Even running the first game at subnative, the buildings and streets weren't nearly this detailed.
It's definitely 1080p, it's just that the outlining method leaves those sharp edges. I'd like to see them iron that out, yeah.
Ah see, that images lighting is toned down some and it looks LOADS better already, there are still some jaggies on buildings, but that looks mostly like a LoD related thing so I don't mind much, Kat also looks better in this one.
Got any close ups of Kat when she's normal?
I wanna see if the more severe jaggies on her model were just from that image.
With those buildings in the background I can't read your post with a straight face. The "details" are just bells and whistles, none of the geometry it difficult at all, it looks like it'd run perfectly on PS3.
I'm not claiming the game is some super amazing thing that pushes the PS4 to its limit. I'm saying that claiming it looks like a Vita game is fucking stupid and is a massive overestimation of what the Vita is capable of.
Well obviously it couldnt in its current state but if you toned down the signs it could easily run.
I'm pretty sure those low poly orange umbrellas are even carried over from the first.
I don't think they've stated, but in the first game the sky was coloured based on where you are, mainly.
They've shown "night" but whether it's by time or area isn't specified. This webm includes a couple shots of it.
I don't doubt some assets are taken from the first game. But I think the game is far beyond the level of being able to say "clearly this was being made for Vita first".
They increased that too.
There are more objects in streets and more of them are affected by your gravity at the same time.

First one is about how the release date is confirmed, and Miki is talking about how everyone will be able to see the love story between her and Fidel.
Second one is about the limited edition Ultimate Box which comes with a Miki figure.
How is the handling? I know the NFS series has always had arcade physics but is is like, really arcadey?
I like the look of the customisation in the new NFS but Driveclub's gameplay is my limit, any more "arcadey" than that and I probably wont like it.
the 1st is something like this
>Fidel-nii! Star Ocean 5 launch date has been announced!
>Finally our love story will be published!
>Ehh, it was that type of story?
>Err.. I better go tell the others
>When it launches all kinds of people will have their eyes on Fidel-nii
>I'll deal with those bitches!
2nd is something like this
>Gotta pre-order, gotta pre-order
>Good thing I stayed up all night reading the relationship thread (the game has various paring endings you can get)
>Nice legs, gurl
>The limited edition comes with great stuff like this!
>(Limited Miki Figure)
>Supply is limited so be quick!
>Good thing I stayed up all night reading the relationship thread (the game has various paring endings you can get)
Isn't it Miki saying
>Good thing I forced him to stay up all night and read related threads. Just as planned.
Are people optimistic about star ocean 5?
It should at least be something to scratch the jayrpg itch till some of the forever delayed titles finally finishes, right?
I wonder how many pairings you can do.
I've actually not played much of the series but this was something earlier titles had too right?
I guess there won't be a complete free-for-all and that each characters can only have so many choices. Though I'd totally pair Fidel with Emmerson (the old guy) if that's possible.
No wonder every niche or Japanese game bombs on ps4. Sony probably thinks that showing them would scare away dudebros and we all know that dudebros are the lifeblood of their console.
Good for pee sea owners I guess as more and more japs seek greener pastures for their games.
>implying they aren't bombing because with just a few exceptions they are mediocre at best.
>implying they aren't just weeb pandering, cynical cash crabs 90% of the time
>implying the few good and honest japanese games that exist don't suffer from horendous production values and/or complex, arcane mechanics
>implying that people with jobs or in the midst of education should also study the few good, arcane, complex for complexities sake, grind filled japanese games instead of simpler more straight forward western games that are just as good.
You will shitpost about this.
lol do you really think they are successful on PC? Are you insane? Enjoy your weebshit while it lasts, soon they'll all be on phones. Bend over and rev up those micro transactions goyyyy
