>Where do i buy x module/weapon for my ship?
High-tech systems have the best inventory, look there. The more population the better.
>What's this RES you guys talk about?
Resource Extraction site. spawns pirates and space cops that shoot each other. HAZRES in best left until you have a Vulture or better.
>Steam Group (post your commander info in the announcement so we can add you)
>Change HUD color:
>Ship discounts (report these as you find them)
All systems exploited by Li Yong-Rui have a discount on ships and outfits for example:
NU TAURI - Parmitano Terminal
BD+28 413 - Gunn Station
>Test your ships before you buy:
Some weird guy wanted to collect a list of us (Seems like a lazy guy as the list hasn't been updated in ages)
ASP = ASS
>praise the vision
DONT DIE PLEASE
MY LIFE IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT THIS GAME
JUST LIVE FOR ONE MORE THREAD EVEN
This game is shit.
For me personally I want ship balance but fdev does not want to buff anything. The forums are filled with with hurr-DURR THE MORE EXPENSIVE SHIPS SHOULD BE BETTER CAUSE IT IS MORE REALISTIC!
>finally arrive at Sgr A*
>feel dead inside
>remember I have to go all the way back
>feel even more dead inside
Got a type 7 and 30M spare,
if i ever want the type 9 upgraded http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=70Y,,2-8SBa9Y8SA06u9s,0DI0Bk0AA08c07207205U05U0nE I will need 98M meaning 65M more
in order to get 65M, with 212 cargo, it means :
306 trips of 1K benefit
153 trips of 2K benefit
fuck this shit, I'm not supposed to do that, takes forever, uninteresting crap because I have to find a proper trade route, then one day after it's fucking gone, benefit is gone, need to find another, waste of time, waste of super-cruise time, friendship fuck, rinse and repeat
fuck this grind simulator
lots of these got a big problem, they are not viable few hours after data shown
you try a 5 hours old data road and you find yourself without any benefits at all route.
thanks but I don't think it will work.
waste of time ...
you do twice the travel
twice intercruise travel
then you have to go back,
take other ship
then do trips
then go back
then scout with hauler
seriously, that is dumb
also, type 7 has 27 ly jump range without cargo, why scout with hauler..
Did rep grinding get more difficult? Back when I was grinding for the clipper it seemed pretty fast. Just trying to rank up with spacemerica to go visit sol and it seems to be taking far longer.
you cant prepare upon such short notice, but it usually involves:
-fasting for a day or two before stream
-a trip to the galactic core or a nebula of your choice
-buying a cobra
-meditating upon the grind
Damn, that EDFX thing is neat
I WANT BRABEN TO KILL ME WITH HIS BARE HANDS
I WANT HIM TO STRANGLE ME AND LET ME DIE IN HIS POWERFUL LOVING EMBRACE
it will probably involve grinding but we are not alone, i want to beliebe
Is this a good guide for it?
Namely the ship build.
I am pretty sure I am decked near a planet with rings since I was pirate farming before, but I have not played for a while.
Ya but you burn through almost half your ammo capacity just trying to kill one ship since they're so weak against anything as large as another Python
Multi's are only good against smaller ships, unless you do like 5x multicannon setup, but then in that case why not just do a superior 5x pulse?
Not really, however the powerplant changes severely nerfed cannons. I used to run a vulture with 1 beam and 1 cannon. The cannon could snipe powerplants in just a few hits. But now cannons are pretty much useless compared to any other weapon since you have to work through the hull anyway.
>Killing pirates for bounties
>clean NPC FDL decides he doesn't like me for some reason and attacks me
>Kill him in self defence
>i get wanted
why is this allowed?
I've had a few fights against other Cobras/Vipers that were using railguns.
If you're gud and really work the inertial thrust with FA off, they'll have a hard time hitting you while you can plink them full of multicannon rounds.
But yeah, like the other anon said, don't use them against bigger ships unless you know you can maneuver out of getting hit at all times, and can keep that up for a few minutes.
Reminder to the next OP to put the mining guide in the OP text. Still taking suggestions.
I'm proabably going to stick with a Mk. III even after Horizon launches, but reading all of the whiny babies complaining about expansion packs here is priceless!
Didn't any of you kids ever play the original Sims games? What about World of Warcraft?
Expansions are awesome guys
I have heard a lot of different explanations of how increasing naval rank works.
Can you increase it via just collectiong bounties, or just bb missions? And can you just stay in one system and grind indeffinetly or do you have to move to another every now and then?
Dev confirmed you get it by "doing work" for the faction and that includes bounties and bulletin board missions.
You used to have to move on once you hit "allied" but you can now hang out in one system and you'll keep getting rep for the major faction.
Lost my first six million and put myself back in a sidey miscalculating costs and letting autopilot crash my ASP into an entry slot wall which somehow tool out my shields and full hull in one bump. I had three hundred credits less than I needed. Stopped playing for a few months after that.
So I wasnt only one who thinks Aisling looks bit Daenarys Stormborn :D Gonna Pledge her only 'cos her morale mirrors my own (altough I have smuggled slaves... Who hasnt :P) lets hope she can stop slavery once and for all!
Welp, still got my 4 billion, still haven't been banned.
Horizons looks like its going to still give me fuck nothing to look forward too since I'm compleatly passed the primary game-play loop of "Earn credits, upgrade ship"
Is there truly no hope?
You lack vision.
If you like Game of Thrones then you probably like Khaleesi, and this is basically her. With open heart and open hand I pledge my allegience to you my queen!
I'm in it for the money
>not being in it for the money
I attempted to Crusade the core. Bad idea.
Thank god I stopped giving a shit about the in-game universe then. You can get to the point where no matter what is thrown at you, regardless of how great the reward is for your time, its still just not enough to peak your interest.
I'm glad you still have something to work for. Personally I got enough of the stuff that I can self destruct a maxed out Conda around 2600 times just for shits and giggles. Its not fun at that point.
