My first game in the Kongo since getting it back.
I still need the accuracy upgrade, and some better aim, but really, im pleased with this.
your kongo is dressed like a slut...
btw, why is she named kongo? i mean it's some african country and japs despise negroes (japs despise everybody who achieved less than them), and then, the only navy which actually could name a ship after that country it's probably the royal navy since they have the most based names and don't give a shit
babby-sized hill in Japan
Battleships are named after ancient Japanese provinces.
Heavy cruisers are named after mountains. (Kongo class were battlecruisers/armored cruisers and did not change names after reclassification into full-fledged battleships.)
Light cruisers are named after rivers. (Mogami class were light cruisers and did not change names after reclassification into heavy cruisers after the 155s were changed out for 203s.)
Destroyers are named after natural and supernatural phenomena.
>tfw no Bingo Bungo battleships
>tfw no Bitchu battleship
>tfw no Tango battleship
I forgot that other converted ships include
Originally meant to be a BB (hence the province name) but converted to CV.
Originally meant to be a CC (hence the mountain name) but converted to CV.
Carriers were mostly named after birds and shit but eventually the Japanese just started naming them after random stuff.
>54-58K average damage on King Kong with 0 div'd games on it
My point is stop complaining about the incompetence of your team and just farm damage or carry harder.
It's a mystery~~~~
>not being able to lead your shots
>not getting close, angling like a motherfucker, and farming citpens
It's like you don't like Devastating Strike'ing enemy cruisers.
Are you really at this level of asspain? Okay, I'll humor you.
Decent, not great.
Not gonna lie. A fair chunk of my games are in Minekaze, which while fun, I'm not particularly great at. Got 148 games in that little speed demon, and I only do a little under 40K a game in it.
Come on, 46K is decent for average tier of 5.4 and no CVs. Not great, as I said, but okay.
Keep digging that hole.
I don't think I've div'd past tier 4 in OBT/release.
Are you sufficiently satisfied with my blog now?
>Come around an island and pump my load into a wide hipped BB with my Russian shotabote dick
>She shudders from the assault and disappears beneath the waves, exhausted.
>See her friend strolling up behind her
>Hide behind the same island and do the same thing all over again.
Low tier Russian shotabotes man.
I feel pretty good! Sucks for you, though!
But clearly, you don't need to div in order to have a good win rate. All you need to do is pray to MM-sama and RNGesus.
Pray harder, anon.
Why is the Yamato tier 10 with Iowa tier 9?
Yamato should be 9, with the A-150 sitting at tier 10 with the Montana.
This would solve the Iowa nerfs while getting rid of the not even paper ship Izumo.
>the literal pinnacle of battleship design
it means the larger the numbers, the less extraneous outcomes there are
if you flip just two coins, the probability of landing heads isn't always just 50% for a given set of unionized numbers
If I flip a coin N number of times where N is any number of flips, then the probability is inherently 50%
N could be 100000 or it could be 1329671298672986279
But I'm correct
if I flip two coins the probability of me getting two heads is actually pretty common
if I flip two million coins, the probability of getting all heads is extremely rare and the actual average of heads vs tails is 50%
At some points this general is more entertaining than playing.
>tfw you have so much isk that it's actually worth something.
Feels weird man..
>tfw I enjoy oppressing the Palestinian people
40 dollars is too much for me,
and it'd validate WG's shitty business practices.
Atago stats are ruined by the herds of fucking retard who can't play tier5
>127mm belt armor like New Orelans but more HP
>quite decent meme AA for IJN standards
>good IJN 203mm guns
>KM like torpedo angles
As for the citadels from tier8 every cruiser would just detonate if you don't fucking angle your hull
This. Watching guys like BaronvonGamez bumble around with high tier ships I don't have is supremely frustrating.
Ugh, oh my fucking god I agree completely
Or shit like this. This shit is just fucking pathetic.
I might watch a streamer if they were like a 60+percent winrate solo warrior who stayed fucking silent and played DDs or Cruisers. Maybe I might fucking learn something.
he is meh
i dont have especially high standards for streamers/vids, but when i saw how he played shimmy and just for no reason gun dueled a cruiser till he is down... why the f i would watch him
is jingles good? whose vids are worth watching?
You best be joking nigger.
Fucker stat pads with ST cunts and is annoying as fuck.
He the literal definition of what we hate.
Midway player, ST clique and a streamer.
>is jingles good?
Jingles is not particularly good. (He actually gives a shit about AA rating and doesn't actually bother examining the individual guns' dps and range.) His videos are informational about history and are aimed towards making the average player play it passably. To be fair, he acknowledges that he is not the best player out there by a longshot.
You also watch it for his unrepentant weebing.
Overall, I watch Jingles for fun, not to learn from him in botes.
Jingles vids are comfy as fuck.
He fully admits he's not the best player, however he was one of the original botestreamers to tell baBBies to git gud when they were complaining about planes and torpedoes, and then proceeded to post Kongo videos where he gracefully avoids torpedoes without issue.
>he gracefully avoids torpedoes without issue.
That was a hype as fuck vid.
He is a BB player who knows what a rudder is, which puts him at a higher level than the average BB player already.
Too bad he likes Mic Check best.
Jingles videos are to be watched on rainy days while you're wrapped up in a blanket. Other streamers are worthless because they don't have that comfy voice or historical insight. He also has good taste in botefus.
Third match, same shit. 980 cap points, and idiots get themselves killed one by fucking one JUST to lose the match. I swear to fucking god these people are the dumbest shits to ever play a video game.
I don't even like streamers, but his voice is fucking comfy as fuck.
>Too bad he likes Mic Check best.
Fuck off. Treerishima is best bongo.
Jingles confirmed for great taste in boatfus.
I don't understand. Are they like, bolted onto her head or something? Are they handle bars?
Does she honk like a horn if I hit her the back of the head. How does this work.
It's a headband with things on the sides, man, not that hard to figure out. There's probably a secondary arc that goes under her hair to keep it stable, like Nagato has.
So they are handle bars.
Now that just makes me wonder if she honks like a fog horn.
>Decide to switch to Battleships for a bit so I can finally try out Aircraft Carriers
>mfw these first couple of matches
This is actually cancer.
Why do I have to play these Shotgun-spread cannons to get to Carriers?
35 knots in 0.5.1 too
by the sacred spirit of lenin and the blood of marx!
>Izyaslav: the ship has been given designed speed of 35 knots (instead of 31,9)
senpai y no like me
the slavs are getting crafty
they don't just make their ships OP
they first make them adequate, and then claim that they need a buff, and make them OP that way
it's like they learned some underhanded methods from sombody. . .
The Jew cries out in pain as he strikes you.
izy is way too slow for t4 dd
and then, most of ships in the game have their design characteristics, not the recorded one
also the real izy could probably run faster too, but well, say, tashkent, to the time when she was damaged by stukas and scuttled, almost killed her engines running 40-42 knots transporting troops and stuff in the black sea every night, i suppose ships usually spared their engines of such overstraining
But yeah US DDs are decent tiers 1-5. 6-8 suck. 9 is where they pick up as well.
I need coffee.
I'm still confused as fuck why she's not in the game
Shes in the works anon.
They are actually doing a 2nd IJN CV line.
The Atlanta is a light cruiser. In other words, she's as slow as a cruiser and as armored as a destroyer. Her guns have the highest and worst arc in the game and they're knocked out by a strong breeze. Her torpedoes are almost an afterthought at 4.5km, because if you're that close to anyone it's because they passed your sinking ship.
That said, she's got a ton of guns (8x2 127mm - Three turrets front and back, one on each side - 14 guns can be brought to bear at most) that fire ridiculously fast and both range and ROF can be upped with talents. AP is almost worthless against other targets at your tier, so most of the time you're going to be spamming HE like a flamethrower.
She's got a great AA suite, but the ranges mean it's a one-pump chump as the enemy will fly overhead and past you and reset your tables. However, with the changes coming to the AA consumable that means the Atlanta is the only ship that will still have infinite uses.
It's a great ship for the niche it has and it requires a ton of skill and patience. She's a destroyer hunter in the beginning of the match, chemo for the sky cancer, and in the late she'll pair up with the BBs to hunt down the survivors.
The Atago, on the other hand, is all around great. 10km torps, decent guns. She'll tempt some people in fighting with BBs and you'll get wrecked. She's an IJN cruiser, they're fragile as fuck. If you're good with their main line, you'll do well with the Atago. AA is so-so, guns fire almost 16km and take 15 seconds to reload.
Both ships are seen from roughly 12km out.
I don't fucking know. This is WG, they've merely stated that its in the works. Along with Battleship Carriers. Knowing WG its going to be some fucked up overpowered piece of shit.
There will be second CV lines for both IJN and USN, they still need to add the fucking Yorktown. I think it's such a low priority the game will be ded at that point. Kaga-san never.
Don't worry, the chinamen will steal all the models and include them in their copy of WoWS anyway.
And since they seem to avoid all the retarded thigns WG did, the game will be better when it is finished in a year or two.
>implying WG won't release entire lines as premium ships.
You doubt their greed anon.
Just look at the alpha footage of steel ocean.
It literally began as a copy of WoWS 0.1.8, and they included everything that was good from teh 0.2.x versions, and did not include all the idiotic changes in 0.3. and 0.4.
And they have controllable secondaries, and subs, and a nonretarded A system, simply because they decided their users are actually smarter than Mycetozoa and are thus able to handle it.
Unless the chinamen decide to do some REALLY retarded shit, WG has to get their shit up to speed before the chinamen are ready or WoWS will die the second Steel Ocean hits steam.
>Chinese do warships better than Russians
>Both had shit navies
No one is surprised.
You know how WG is generally unwilling to listen to player feedback? Particularly from EU/NA?
The same would probably occur with the Chinamen, if not worse. Y'know, due to them being Chinese.
I could be wrong though. It could be more fun than WoWS, but from what I've seen, it's mostly just a carbon copy with subs and dogshit visuals.
>and take 15 seconds to reload.
That was the main gripe with the Mogami 203mm guns in CBT, their generally slower fire rate and piss AA.
I think I'm going to sit on my hands and wait for a German or Russian tier 8 before I decide which money maker I like the most.
>when you sneak up to someone with a cleveland or atlanta and they don't notice you so you can just citedel them down
As a battleship player who occasionally has trouble with being torp'd I have only this to say
I can handle being torped by a DD at full 6k/hit because of the risks the host pilot faces
I cannot say I'm especially pleased about being torped for 6k a hit by bombers who have infinite agility, can only be shot at by rather abysmal on-ship AA or fighters (who aren't necessarily going to be in the right place EVER) and who can move over any object the conceivably might face.
Cut the damage of aircraft torps by 66% and maybe you start getting some balance back in the game.
>can shoot 8-12 rounds with minimal damage of 1000 every 30 seconds
>has more than 50k HP and insane armour
>I can handle being torped by a DD at full 6k/hit because of the risks the host pilot faces
Wew lad, it must be so hard on you.
It can't be a flat reduction.
The problem is that midway just autodeletes, though high tier carriers overall are an issue because of bomber speed and HP. However low tier carriers would be nearly useless with any nerf if the enemy team is anything resembling competent.
Ultimately I feel like the aircraft stat bloat curve needs to be decreased. This would keep tier 4 carriers where they are, and add slight nerfs as you go up that compound until you hit tier 10. At 5 and 6 they likely would hardly be noticeable as well.
If the MM didn't also force carriers of the same tier now, this would have the secondary effect of lessening the dominance of a carrier one tier higher than its predecessor.
also a magic health potion, faeries repairing their ship faster that you can damage it with cruiser's guns
6k per torp it's a shit tier torp on dd btw, like those on derzki, dd torps are usually stronger than those from tb
>tfw watching a near full health Cleveland die to a half health Omaha
6k is max damage for derzki torps. BBs at its tier will take about 75% of that damage without tresholds. You need around 15 torps to hit in order to sunk the fat fucker and that's if he doesn't use health potion.
>balance according to baBBies
That's also assuming the battleship has taken no damage. If a derzki is in torpedo range you can be sure he's taken at least some.
I should know, I've been sinking BB's all night in my derzki and slav
>If I stay with the blob of boats for AA cover I never get a chance to shoot at anything because everyone is shooting from maximum range which is a hell of a lot more than my own because it's 100% Yamatos
>If I get in range to shoot anything I immediately get swarmed by like 5 TB squadrons
the Izumo makes me want to kill myself
why does arkansas have most of her turrets pointing backwards?
i mean i understand why derzki or izy have 2/3 of their turrets on the aft, it's for shooting while fleeing, but arkansas is a bb
>If the MM didn't also force carriers of the same tier now, this would have the secondary effect of lessening the dominance of a carrier one tier higher than its predecessor.
We can't have that. People want a CV in their game. They got exactly what they asked for. Tier 8 vs tier 10 instead of an extra Yamato or two.
This is what forced CV MM does for a small population of CV users.
>because they sailed side on and my guns penetrated their deepest part without mercy.
Stop making warships sound lewd.
>turn a tiny bit to fire off all my guns
>north carolina hits me a bajillion times in one salvo
>40k hp lost
>almost never stop turning
>never have to worry about my garbage armor because nobody seems to be able to hit me
life is good with relatively quick turning turrets
The more obvious, and objectively better, solution would have been AA that can actually stop airstrikes of its own tier.
Instead of AA that effectively doesn't exist up to t6 and ceases to actually do its job at t9, even if the whole team blobs up.
By ceases to do its job you mean doesn't completely invalidate carriers by just existing.
Tiers 4-8 are a fucking non-threat. At tier 9 you can't just ignore tier CVs and hope your AA just wipes them like a tier 8 BB/CA can do.
Is there any way to cancel a scout plane once you've launched it?
I like having it on there at lower tiers but when I hit it accidentally and everything I'm shooting at is like 10km away it gets fucking annoying.
My mission here is complete.
>People want a CV in their game.
Actually, people would rather have no CV in their game. Or at least a CV on their team that can compete with the one on the other side. CV's influence the course of the game too much, so it's a given that people would rather not see any at all, or at least want equal chances.
Stop blaming it on the community, Anumati. The class is OP.
Just like CV's completely invalidate DD's just by hovering above them, right? :^)
>At tier 9 you can't just ignore tier CVs and hope your AA just wipes them like a tier 8 BB/CA can do.
So...you just suck it up and accept you're fucked?
I have been playing New Orleans this last month. A Midway hovered his spent planes above me, a Montana, Baltimore and Yamato for a full minute before both squads were brought down. Same for fighters.
And even If I barrage, a spread-out 2-TB squad will still take down a Yamato to 50% of their health.
But of course, it's all of balance, because CV's are the 1% privileged chosen-class of super-special and above average players that totally deserve to rule above everyone else.
>They've just tightened IJN CV TB drop zones
And slowed the torps down, which might counter said drops.
>and nerf US CV TB drops zones.
Which was long overdue.
>IJN TBs are now better at US TBs.
US TB's still get more bombs, so even if IJN gets a better spread, both will be getting the same amount of hits.
Still, no changes to T10 economy and T10 bow-to-the-frong META means hightier games will remain as shitty as they ever were.
>Furutaka shows you her broadside
I had a lot of fun with Eve during some of College, a very comfy game, with THE BEST R-A-F System ever!
made literal millions due to 15, or 30 day noob chat and "want an extra week of trial, :^) ? " back when Plex was 400-600k
R-A-F paid for the start-up of multiple accounts.. Too bad I only ever really played that game as a
Miner.. multiple Hulks + Orca support made a nice 'Fleet'
Then looked into how much others were making, and how much people would spend on big fights and went "DAAMN!!"
>Some of the largest engagements would have cost something like $200,000-$300,000 REAL US DOLLARS!!
>The Jew-dye were definitely feeling that one.
>Stop blaming it on the community, Anumati. The class is OP to retards
The class is OP when the community is full of shit players. CVs are only strong in a match when a team has no coordination or teamwork. WG knows this and that's why they are in fact nerfing cruisers. Do I agree with it? No not really but that's the facts to WG apparently. Cruisers are too good at their job apparently.
>So...you just suck it up and accept you're fucked?
>Don't spec for AA
>Dont play botes with good AA
>Don't have AA captain skills
>Turn away from bombers
>Do everything wrong and still refuse to accept fault
Yes, suck it the fuck up and accept you made fucking mistakes instead of just blaming the CV for punishing your mistakes.
All high tier CVs rely on people making mistakes and doing stupid shit.
At what point does it become the pubbie's fault for making mistakes. You want to lay all of your blame on CVs when the fact is, people just don't prepare properly and complain when they get taken advantage of. Does it suck? Yes. Is it completely counter-able? Completely.
When people stop fucking up. ((The won't)) Then CVs will be less of a problem.
How fucking bad to CVs have to be at killing ships before people are satisfied? Hint, they won't ever be satisfied because bad players are bad.
>But of course, it's all of balance, because CV's are the 1% privileged chosen-class of super-special and above average players that totally deserve to rule above everyone else.
This statement alone show how uninformed you are on CVs and how little you know.
Also, please for the love of god, post a Webm of a that situation again, I would fucking love to see a Midway's planes last more than 15 seconds over that amount of AA. Of course these ships were AA specc'd right? If they weren't a Midway is going to have his planes survive much longer. If you can post actual proof other than hearsay, I will take back what I said.
Searchlights exist to be damaged and make you look like a chuuni.
>Have NM and Fuso
>Same amount of guns
>Fuso has higher RoF
>More accurate guns
>Much more range
>Much better secondary armament
>all or nothing armor
>Tighter turn radius
WG in charge of balance
>ten klicks from an Omaha
>scout plane still up from when I was trying to sight behind big fucking islands
>15 seconds till it lands
>guns loaded and ready
>let him shoot me until scout plane lands, because I don't want the increased dispersion to fuck my chance at his citadels
>took a fair amount of damage, but still folded him in half anyway.
Yeah, scout plane becomes less and less useful the higher up the BB tiers you go.
I kinda wish you could swap that for something more useful - like a scout fighter.
>implying the forums are important at all
Where do you think you are?
Doesn't look like it's able to penetrate baBBies' citadels though.
>The class is OP when the community is full of shit players.
>Everybody else is at fault but me! CV's top the performance chart surely because we CV players are just so damn good, and everyone else is just so shit that it makes me look OP!
Sometimes, I wonder if this is what CVnts truly believe. Or they're just so scared of their pet class being nerfed that they defend it at all costs, on all fronts, even on an anonymous chinese picture board that WG doesn't even check.
>The class is OP when the community is full of shit players
No, fuck you. The best padding BB-CA will always lose to the best padding BB-CV div. Stop using this fallacy of "we are just too good for this game, everyone else needs to come up to our level". That right there tells how broken OP CV's are.
>Cruisers are too good at their job apparently.
No. They're nerfing IJN cruisers with 2 barrage charges to make USN look more appealing with a whopping 3 charges, because WG is dead set on forcing USN CA's to be terrible at anything but AA, and nobody wants to play support AA barge when it doesn't net any credits, XP, or fun.
So, in WG's logic, making USN stronger at a task that gives no rewards will surely make people play that line more.
WG balancing decisions are retarded, if you haven't noticed yet from their track record on WoT, WoWP and now WoWS.
>Yes, suck it the fuck up and accept you made fucking mistakes instead of just blaming the CV for punishing your mistakes.
Mistakes like letting my barrage go on cooldown because I used it previously? And even then, barrage does barely anything. Any friendly Montana or Hotel that I'm escorting will still take 4-5 hits from a spooked Midway, because the launch distance, plane speed that negates any maneuvering, and ship length make it a non issue.
>Does it suck? Yes. Is it completely counter-able? Completely.
Spoken like a true CVnt. You have never even played any cruiser, DD or BB at T7 or above for any meaningful amount of time. Your opinion is invalid.
>This statement alone show how uninformed you are on CVs and how little you know.
Really? Because by your post, I say the same thing about you. You have no idea what it's like to play any surface ship against a Midway. And for all your complaints, you still get a fairly good amount of damage anyway. Almost as much as the top-ranking Yamato. But THAT is balanced of course. Or actually, unbalanced, because you deserve to do more dmg, right? :^)
>WoWS as a reflection of history
>History as a reflection of WoWS
>Last Stand of Edsall
>baBBies and CAsuals can't even hit one DD
>CVnt finally clicks the poor DD
>IJN literally terrified of post-battle repair costs
>never actually goes into battle
>finally does and gets clicked by CVnts
>Iowa and Katori
>CL gets dragged into T9 game by a fail division
>Iowa baBBie clicks the CL
It's funny when you think about it
>Also, please for the love of god, post a Webm of a that situation again, I would fucking love to see a Midway's planes last more than 15 seconds over that amount of AA.
I don't have replays enabled. I don't feel the need to go around posting my epic weebms of my ebin plays.
And planes surviving for a full minute is very likely. As long as they don't stay in the 3-km close-range AA circle, they can merrily fly above a bunch of AA ships without issue. Which is most likely what happened. Which is bullshit, because it just goes to prove how useless AA is.
You complain Midway planes don't survive more than 15 seconds. That's because when that happens, they're inside the 3-km close range bubble. And that only happens when planes drop, which is why you often see planes dying fast, just after dropping torpedoes. Planes have pretty much a free pass to maneuver around a ship as long as they stay in the long-mid range bubbles, which is what makes them OP. No matter how much you maneuver, planes can easily circle around to your side without losing planes.
>Of course these ships were AA specc'd right? If they weren't a Midway is going to have his planes survive much longer. If you can post actual proof other than hearsay, I will take back what I said.
The fuck if I know. I don't go around asking anyone. I'm, and I'm sure the Baltimore was too, because why would anyone play USN CA's anyway? And with a New Orleans Baltimore, Montana and Yamato all close together, I'd expect those planes to go down fast, AA specced or not, just because the ship themselves are suppoed to have pretty good AA by default.
to protect that smile
Concentrated fire when paired with a BB
AA coverage for the BB\CV
Rapid Fire defense vs Fast Targets (DD's)
Ships were designed for battlegroups historically, and their layout supports that - while WG isn't fully committed to historical realism, they do just make these ships according to their historical specifications.
A good example of this is high tier USN DD's, which became, historically, more about convoy escort and covering batttlegroup flanks.
Mogami is a gud boat. Tier 10 is the problem.
>Concentrated fire when paired with a BB
Why can't you concentrate fire of 2 BBs?
>AA coverage for the BB\CV
AA auras don't stuck and high tier CVs and BBs have similar or better AA. How is that supposed to work?
>Rapid Fire defense vs Fast Targets (DD's)
>implying all the Zekamashis weren't clicked by Midways 5 minutes ago
Your still looking at things from a Gameplay perspective, and not a Historical perspective.
Read my post again - WG doesn't understand that ship specifications are built for a use that this game doesn't support
How your supposed to use them in game? Your not. WG doesn't care about CA's or DD's. They only exist to give CV's and BB's something to kill, instead of each other.
I aint even Kitty, man. But I find it funny you think the forums matter in any way.
I like CA gameplay but BBs just catch up with every tier. It seems to me that tier 9 and 10 CAs in WoWs have no advantage over BBs of their level except #RrememberTsushima, in fact Monatana could set shit on fire with every HE salvo just fine if she needed to.
If the server population were high enough there should be quotas on the number of each class per team.
Obviously from a realistic perspective cruisers are much more cost effective than battleships, which is why they exist and why the number of BBs should be limited in the game.
started playing in t10 divisions
is evry match gonna be against 2 CVs? how is this better than solo
>I'm a bad player
>I don't have any evidence to back up my claims
>But its upsetting that I don't insta-delete equal tier or higher planes at long range.
>CVs are too strong, why can't I solo? I should be able to solo whenever I want and care not for the consequences!
No wonder pays attention to you guys.
>I'm a good player
>I don't even play anything but CVs
>I insta-delete equal tier or higher ships at the other end of the map
>CVs are fine, why don't you teamwork? I am fine without any kind of teamwork myself but I'm a special snowflake so that's okay!
>It's a progress bar for each ship.
No, it's a dice roll for each ship's aura covering the squad. That's why sometimes a plane will die as soon as it enters AA. And that's why a squad can enter and leave AA over and over again without losing planes.
More dice rolls means more planes die faster the more auras the squad is in, though.
Only the highest aura is active at any given time. Even long range and close range auras of one ship don't stack. The highest you can get in this game is 240 units for close range Colorado if I remember it correctly.
>He thinks this is how AA works
You're so adorable anon.
It's not a dice roll.
I'm sure someone has it, but everything was explained really well. I don't remember 100% but I'll do my best here.
The reason sometimes a plane will instantly die upon entering an aura is because that's when all the AA that can reach it fires. AA guns themselves have a cooldown period after firing, when the progress for one plane reaches that planes max health one plane dies and it starts over.
I think it was 5 seconds? for the largest and strongest AA guns on a ship. Which would explain why a plane can die instantly but then not take more casualties for a little, despite the first time the plane was taken out as soon as it entered the aura.
This is also why planes can leave and enter freely if the damage from the heaviest AA is not enough to kill one plane. As soon as they leave the range of the guns, the progress is reset to 0. They can then enter again and let's just say for example it's set to 50. But if they leave again, it's back to 0.
Someone that knows more about how exactly they work can explain it a whole lot better than I did.
I have a question. How do you blacklist a player in this game so you never see them in a match again?
>Be in my second match in a New York, only have the range upgrade
>Be in a group consisting of two BBs and a Kolberg escorting us
>group we encounter has a single Wyoming and THREE destroyers, not looking good
>Focus my fire on the Wyoming and ask the Kolberg to try and take out the DDs
>Kolberg starts putting AP into the Wyoming
>Wyoming is angled, takes no damage
>DDs sail past him, getting closer to me
>Ask the Kolberg again to take out those DDs
>Keeps shooting the Wyoming
>"KOLBERG WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING FUCKING SHOOT THE BBS YOU MOUTHBREATHING RETARD"
>start maneuvering before the DD group crests the island sheltering them
>Eat 6 torpedos anyway
>Kolberg is promptly citadel'd to death
Seriously how are people THIS bad at the game? A Kolberg that gets uptiered to T5 can basically only hope to handle DDs, and he had THREE of them handed to him on a platter. But no, he fucking ignores them and puts useless shots into an angled BB.
It's still a dice roll.
And here's the second part.
>Multiple ships do not accumulate, rather their own separate rolls are made.
Playing a battleship is just such a frustrating experience sometimes, get used to it. At lower tiers your glacial speed and agonising lack of maneuverability mean you are at utterly at the mercy of whatever side of the field you happen to be on. Your side of the battle has no cruisers and all the enemy's DDs are there? Fuck you, tough luck!
Is him a sort of idol or what?
What makes him more special than all the other autistic faggots we have here me included?
>Gets multiple shimakaze torpedo hits on the ocean map
arcade kitty please, stop being a shitter.
Vic is a good player, but hes not a god.
>There are people right now who think the NM is bad.
what's your favorite boat in your port anons?
I want to have ship to ship relations with her.
That cute rudder, such adorable guns.
Dem torpedo tubes, unf. I would apply greasing oil to them all day in port.
Chain_chomp is definitely not one of them.
Although Kongo is rather nice.
I really really like Myokou
but I'm pretending she's actually Ashigara.
>tfw no Takao in game
>tfw don't want to buy an Atago
>also a magic health potion, faeries repairing their ship faster that you can damage it with cruiser's guns
are you dumb? the repair party doesn't repair that much, one fire out damages the fucking thing.
that still means its not cummulative, its individually based its like getting advantage on a roll in DND except your chances don't change regardless you're just rolling more with the same coin flip
Damage control upgrade
>3% less to the risk of fire
For example if a ship has a 20% chance to start a fire with HE, the 3% acts upon the 20% multiplier. Do the math 20 * .97 (3% decrease) is 19.4
congrats the incoming shells have a 19.4% chance of 20% a chance so stupidly small its virtually non-existent
>5% reduction to the chance of flood
>if torps have a 50% chance of causing a flood, 5% of 50 is 47.5%
You have a 47.5% of causing a flood, literally nothing changed its still virtually 1/2 chance of causing a flood
>planes die literally twice as often.
Mathematically no, you're just rolling the dice twice as often and it doesn't directly calculate to a double the chance of killing something, you're just rolling more often
That doesn't mean my example is invalid, does it?
Multiplicative reduction is plenty powerful when the numbers are right.
And combining the -5% with -7% fire chance along with the 42.2% faster time to extinguish is significant.
if two ships have the same chance to kill a plane (lets say 1/6)
so anything thats NOT a 6 is a miss.
(1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 3.5
plus the second ship
(1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 3.5
the chance is not doubled
its not significant at all, its still virtually 1/2 chance of causing a flood and a 1/5 chance of causing a fire
She's a fun ship.
and she will be funnier ship to play with when the next update comes.
>Demonic traits discussion
>Math and Statistics
>EVE online discussion
>Geography and nationalities.
it is useless, the multiplier is so damn low it literally does nothing in the long run
choose something else in that row however I think the multipliers there are ALSO very small and useless
>(1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 3.5
>plus the second ship
>(1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 3.5
Please explain what the value of 3.5 represents. Because you're trying to say that each ship has a 16.7% chance of killing a plane per second, which 3.5 has no part of.
Each ship has the same chance to kill a plane per second.
If each ship can kill one plane per second on average, then one ship will kill on plane per second.
two ships will kill two planes per second.
three ships will kill three planes per second.
Eventually your ship will be set on fire 100 times by bombs.
If you combine the -5% and -7% fire chance modifiers, you will have been set on fire 88 times instead.
You have to decide it that's worthwhile to you.
>that 11.2km firing range
>that shell arc
does anyone own this ship
it had a lot of meme talk in the CBT but it seems most people agree now that it's shit
ohgod, rape spammer has begun his invasion...
I'm too busy organizing my Kantai Pacific botegirls folder, and hunting down max resolution files.
Hard to do when your running on 128kpbs crapernet.
For you Colorado enthusiasts. I'm seeing if there is a botegirl for New Mexico class, likely the Mississippi
i want to detonate my torpedoes in Dasha Perova's stern
>hey wanna review our game?
>we'll give you an account with access to all of our goodies
>"Atago doesn't make good credits you just got lucky" -anon 2015
Atago is simply the best bote to farm credits.
So just how much of a difference is Nürnberg compared to Köningsberg? Seems like they are exactly the same in offence wise, survivability and mobility, only AA seems a bit higher. I really fucking hope it's not just an uptiered Köningsberg.
>but then australians want something too
australian naval accomplishment during ww2 is basically losing a cruiser to a converted merchant vessel and two separate friendly collisions involving the same carrier
since American CVs are useless they will be paired with themselves only.
so if you have a Langley all you will face are other Langley's unless your partner has another vc. then both are mirroned.
this is somehow preferable that to fix aircraft balance.
wow I actually got sad with this
>since American CVs are useless they will be paired with themselves only
it's possible but i believe it is about their tier only
now... will it make dragging a random enemy t4 cv into a t10 game divisioning a t4 cv with a t10 ship possible :3
lol they're crying
why would chinks play in EU and not in SEA?
Low/mid/high tier carriers differ so drastically it's not even funny, yet wargaming is treating them like they're all the same shit.
They need to dump this national peculiarities shit otherwise carriers can never be balanced.
Shes cuter then Hosho
Seriously guys, is the Karl supposed to be a joke ship?
> non existent armor
> torpedoes with 10 cm range
> shells are slower than your grandma in a mobility scooter
> all systems disabled, set on fire, flooding if it takes as much damage as a bird poops on it
>Dresden, Kolberg and Karsruhe AP shells have been recalculated, armor penetration has been increased
>Karlsruhe: engine protection against HE shells improved threefold
It's hilariously underpowered yes. If it gets kept at tier 4 it should have preferential matchmaking forcing it to only see tier 4 matches. If it gets into any match just one tier higher it's an actual detriment to the team.
There isn't one, to my knowledge. No New Mexico either.
But there is a Montana, and a few Iowas
>Is a thing named karl in a wargaming game supposed to be a joke?
you tell me
Probably one of the Northamptons
After playing a few games in the Karl and getting just a few hundred xp in each because I'm firing literal wiffle balls I just free XP'd the Konigsberg and didn't regret it an instant.
Konigsberg best bote.
I have 3, I don't have Chicago or Houston
Yea, no. That's wrong.
Glad to help you out senpai
hahahaha, that twitter shorthand for family now comes out as senpai, thats funny
>he can't citadel pen rape the Atlanta
>the ship with the largest, most vulnerable citadels in the game
>the ship with turrets that blow up if you so much as breathe heavy on them
The Atlanta is only a problem if you let it be a problem. Or you''re a DD.
Why does the American boatgirl have darker hair and smaller boobs than the Japanese boatgirls?
Well the artist for them is chinese
