Lots of shit is happening! ANTs are on PTS kind of! Continent lock rework is in progress! LMG changes and the Orion got buffed! Wait, what?
Update time! Victory points! LMG changes! Bounty Directive! Devs breaking the game!
A small hotfix to victory points. Will this stop the Indarside? AHAHAHA no.
The Halloween event is still live with silly hats for you to buy at 10x the price of last year's event.

>Suggested weapons for new guys to aim for
Anybody know what these two things are that the game gave me when I logged in on my VS alt?
Well I assumed that much, I meant are you able to access it.
There's no TR version because they're too busy crying.
No, we're not being sarcastic, ANTs are actually happening, and the victory point thing is already out.
Of course, ANTs are now an RTS worker unit, so don't expect it to be like PS1.
Hello yes I would like to call about a problem with my valkyrie.
Oh yeah, and here's a picture of it. Missing are the two pincer-like prongs coming out of the front, and there's a turret spot up on top that can fit a mining laser (to help get resources faster) or a gun.
>log back in to check things out
>they increased the vulcan base magazine size AGAIN
>mag size certs still exactly the same
>less than 10% increase now
Goddamn, recerts when. Wasn't that shit on the roadmap two years ago or someshit?
I miss super-ultra-knifefight 30 round mag vulcan, even if it was awful when you weren't at a range best described as barrel-in-colon
>Tired of the cancer island

Feels that way senpai
Marauder - undisputed best AI
Memekeeper - impossible to fuck up consistent damage long range AV
Vulcan - Top tier close range AV, on the same level as the Aphelion, and vastly better than the NC one
The halberd covers long range high burst damage, and walker does AA.
TR harassers 5/5
NC had their charm back at release. Their obnoxious colours fit their "fug sbace gommies eat burger ;--DDD" aesthetic. Too bad they look like shit now, along with everything else.
Why are pounders better AI than any actual AI MAX weapons? How do pounders even fit in with the TR firing speed theme?
Pounders should be common pool and TR should get a fracture variant with a faster firing speed.
>Someone said something somewhat intelligent on reddit
Why are vanu such trash?
Seriously why is this game such trash? You can literally get the jump on any VS, aim, open fire, get 4 hits on them, then they will open fire on you and fucking kill you.
Every. single. time.
Now I remember why I stopped playing this blatantly unbalanced meme shooter where every faggot flocks to the obviously OP faction for EZ mode player farming.
>wellknown toggler on emerald is unbanned, prompt lied again about bans
It's just pathetic at this point.
>TFW Lalunia is not a cute Korean girl but a 30-something Polish dude
Well, it's because they win most of the 'fair fights' they cherish so much, due to their overpowered weapons.
Bring along a max, and suddenly they start getting raped, because they're actually not that good.
Then their inner bad reveals itself and they start complaining about maxes, because you're actually killing them now.
Not really, while it's not exactly normal to have that kind of reflexes at 30, I know a 45 year old guy who'd absolutely wreck pretty much anybody ITT in quake, or really any FPS if given some time to adapt.
There is? I knew there used to be one on Indar, but that got removed ages ago; Hossin has a neutral (and unusable) control point or two someplace, but I didn't know it had a unique infantry terminal other than the vehicle terminal at that one base that has a second, broken terminal in the same spot so it's always smoking.
$40 USD, convert to the Euro money of your choice.
So it's gonna be like last year.
I only wanted the holographic Armor, refused to pay 20 dollars or whatever it was.
My bad then, I quit playing reguarly a year ago or so.
The lack of updates of the game just put me off since Smedley promised the world and we saw nothing.
There's always something they hint towards they're working on but "Woops sorry we're not releaseing that"
Me neither actually.
There's actually been MORE progress since Smed left. It's not PS2 2.0 like he claimed, but ANTs are (probably) on the way, the Victory Point continent system is already out, Xander is back on level design.
Don't get me wrong, I already love the new content.
Problem is, before Daybreak got in and got to know the engine themselves. They're updating it which I like, but I feel that Smedley and SOE were so fucking slow that I'm just returning now and going "Is this it?" after being gone for a year.
I am pretty hyped for ANTs though.
SOE devs = Daybreak devs.
Same company, different parent company owner which has no direct thumbling into game decisions.
They just expect DBG to make them cash and give them targets is all, just like Sony with SOE.

Am I the only one having this
DMR is so OP you don't even need to shoot people with it for them to die. I never even saw this guy to shoot at him at all so I didn't hurt him and he jumped off a cliff or anything.
Look at the killfeed.
>seeing a lot of people who freeze in place invincible then shoot you in the back when you look away
this shit is hella annoying.
And while I'm at it why can't INF carry it, then maybe the bolt shitters would be useful for pruning MAXes.
Every bolt babby with an AMR is one less bolt babby that's actually a threat to you and a credit to the team.
I'm just curious as to how well I'm progressing. I'm BR 9 on an NC Heavy. so far I have
>Adrenaline Shield 2
>Nanoweave Armor 4
>1x Medical kit
have I gufd anywhere?
I'd drop Nanoweave for ASC early on. ASC promotes better positioning and encourages you to pick your fights & knowing when to pull back. Nanoweave maxed is only 2 bullets difference, and does nothing to encourage more considered play. It's also far more expensive to max out.
I'd also agree with
Always go for 1x on automatic weapons. Anything above that fucks your recoil compensation. Also, nanite mash & resist are both better choices for new heavies.
That's exactly why I recommended them- how else would he learn these things? Either way, a lack of awareness and survival skills will be getting him killed, regardless of equipment. I've simply found that these are the best/most conducive tools to support learning these skills. That's what I mean when I say ASC promotes better positioning- you actually have to think about your situation and surroundings, and the earlier he starts doing that, the better.
>Land Valkyrie on hill overlooking Red Ridge with 4 engis with Archers

>why have skill on VS when you can just run people over with vehicles?
It's from spawning at a sunderer. Poor babies were getting spawn killed so Sony made people invincible when they spawn with no indication who is a waste of bullets and who is going to spring into action. Gotta coddle those noobs when there's so many of them.
>you will never suck lalu's feminine dick
Maybe they spawned with hornets to farm tonks, but can't find any tonks, and don't want to respawn to change loadout so make the most of what they have and farm infantry with them.
It's a faster path to auraxium, too.
Shit. Get it together anon.
I had a webm. Of me when Sky Dock had the old air pads sticking out front. There was a striker squad there, [BRTD] and [MM] so 30 plus. Got my Sycthe and flew under the bridge linking to Reagent Rock from Tawrich, came up behind them hard and fast and killed close to 25 in one pass. Like harvesting wheat in a field.
of course there was an Engineers MANA turret up there so when I hit that BOOM! But it was a nice death screen when it zoomed out to see all those dead Terrans. [\spoiler]
Aaaayyyy Swaggz, this is why I didn't initially understand how I got the kill.
And now YT has finally finished rendering them to at least some acceptable level, here's two clips I wanted sound or length for.
I had totally forgotten shields used to have empire logos on them.
Man, how many places even have ES decals left? The holographic signs on towers at bases (next to the clan tag of course), the minimap, uhh...

Teamwork done right.
Sometimes you just gotta accept you won't win every battle, but coming out of it alive and managing to take down one of the fuckers was still worth it.
ONLY if they're capable of taking AT LEAST 1 c4 without blowing up.
Having ALL tanks blow up in a single C4 is irksome right now, but if it was a 3 crew vehicle, there'd be no excuse for it being so paper thin weak.
It'd need to withstand more than 1 C4, maybe even 2 C4's just put it down to 3% health from 100%
>Increase tank HP by atleast 3-4 front rockets
Because rockets are a threat to any tank? They already take like 8 rockets, Vanguards even more. Magriders are unhittable. Prowlers are 400m away with 15 other Prowlers.
>niggered by 5 scythes
>run away towards friendly flak nest, they don't follow me

No they don't. The amount of times I've been C4'd by a single brick.
Either that, or they do and EVERY time I've had it happen to me from 100% health I've had two bricks thrown at me, but I'm 99% sure that ain't the case.
You have some serious comprehension issues.
Uh oh, Bill may be making the VS EVEN DARKER
>The infantry in Alpha vs now are dramatically different for the same reason. In terms of the VS, I have been thinking changing to a almost all purple and also eliminating the high gloss(which can make them look even darker). We will see since that will be a sizable task to undertake, not to mention controversial.
>also eliminating the high gloss(which can make them look even darker)
I just don't understand. It's not even funny anymore. What the fuck.
>>121359002 again. I made another NC heavy to try out what you recommended and it seems like I actually die a lot more compaired to when I was using AS so I think I'll stick with that for now.
Have you ever started an auraxium loving a gun and having fun with it to really hate using it but still feel sad about it being over
What they need is more variety of tanks. Look at ww2 for example.
Britbongs has 2 types of tanks, their heavy tanks and cruiser tanks. Heavy tanks were slow as shit but had some the heaviest armor in the world. Cruiser tanks were faster, usually had better guns but had little armor by comparison.
The light tank "Lightning" Isn't even light, isnt much more mobile or fast compared to the MBT which are supposed to be medium tanks. The Medium tanks are supposed to be the most versatile, take the t-34, panzer 4 or the M4 Sherman. Which is kinda how it works in ps2 at the moment with the MBTs but without more differences in the other armor it leads to very samey gameplay.
tl;dr Add more fucking vehicles for variety
that's simply a buff to prowlers as it is which is wholly unnecessary and further increases the DPS and velocity gaps between the tanks
in the end, prowlers will just sit on their hill shelling a bit longer before they scoot behind a rock to repair
if you want to really balance tanks fine yeah buff their defense but also DRASTICALLY reduce their offensive power at range
-cone of fire
TR still shines at close range with highest DPS and movement speed without making every other tank worse at fighting it
>3 mph higher matters in close combat
What. Its like those people that think the mossie is better because its slightly faster when the reaver has better thrusters which is what matters in dog-fights.
But 50% DPS advantage without Anchor mode sure is a deciding factor in close range tank to tank combat.
Right now you can ambush a Prowler win due to significant alpha damage and shorter encounters. With higher HP it would simply outdps every encounter, and would have time to deploy which increases its damage output to over twice that of Mag/Vannie.
yup. 50% without anchor mode and 115% (!!!) with maxed anchor.
Anchored AP prowler has below 7 seconds TTK on vanguard from the front (AP Vanguard has 15 sec TTK on a Prowler from the front)
that is what you do with any tank but the vanguard because the vanguard has to be baited into dropping it's shield first
prowlers will still fucking eat you if they know you're coming and can drive worth a damn but so many are gimped at it from constant hill camping they forget the thing can move sometimes
>mfw seeing auraxium armor on ultra with bloom for the first time
jesus christ, do i look like this at night all the time?
holy fuck, that's brighter than the goddamn holo-armor
Do NOT fall for Airchav lies! Do NOT buy Decimator! BUY SWARM!
So assuming its a close range engagement, the TR prowler locks down, then the vanguard pops shield and gets behind it and kills it instantly? I dont see how lockdown is viable in a close range engagement. If its a mag rider it will just turbo past and get backshots. Lockdown is a detriment in close range. If you look at real life as an example the British used a sense of lock down in ww2, but it was only at longer ranges.

>needing to be invisible
Sshhh. Cloaker is sleeping.
is that how the /a/ meme goes? i think that's how it goes
>How do pounders even fit in with the TR firing speed theme?
for the last fucking time, TR's theme is not firing speed
TR's theme has been since PS1 "spray and pray"
they have always been rapid fire, inaccurate, and a focus of not having to aim at the enemy for a chance at hitting them
pounders were AI in early PS1
TR was the only one with flak in PS1
their AV weapon in PS1 was a lock on launcher
TR has always been about compensating lack of ability to aim for "extra chances" at hitting anyway
they are designed that way to this day
The solid color camos are... presumably solid color camos, the new AE weapons are more than likely the same as the older AE launchers (gold trim replaces non-camo areas), the medgun and gluegun we don't know.
>I have been thinking changing to a almost all purple and also eliminating the high gloss(which can make them look even darker)
What he's saying is "the high gloss is the thing making them look even darker than their texture sheet", and he wants to eliminate that part of it. This shouldn't be a difficult concept to comprehend, due to the way every other shiny piece of shit in this game works at making things look darker than their matte counterparts.
>main gunner leaves for the alert
>I get free reign of the AP Titan at long last

I have much to learn

>yfw your killer was assisted by someone on your side
reflexes don't diminish until your 40's
best reflexes are ~15-20, then they get slightly worse and stay at that level through till you're 40, at which point they slowly decrease over time.
If you practice and play a lot of games that require sharp reflexes, you can probably delay that. Body has a tendency to keep the parts of you being regularly used in good order, in spite of age.
I was just trying to rez people.
turning off your ability to shoot for n+2 seconds isn't that cheap in practice
you could use armor cloak or something if you want to make it really aggressive and have some kind of advantage while reloading
SOE a year ago very obviously had poor management.
They appear to still have pretty piss poor management, but someone, somewhere, is actually getting people to do some work for once.
As a company though, they really need to pull their heads out of their asses about their pricing scheme for literally everything. It's okay for high-priced items to exist, but they should be in the minority, with most things you can purchase costing a dollar or less, and making up the sales difference in volume.
I'd have bought the anniversary bundle if it was $4 instead of $40 - I'd arguably even buy it at $14, but I'm not touching it at $40. They've priced themselves out of the market.
Also, they need better quality control on the shit they sell. The way camo is just haphazardly applied to everything is shitty and lazy. Camo should be getting custom designed to fit with the character model instead of just replacing a texture layer and calling it a day. Fan-made shit from the player studio has a higher degree of creativity, care, and quality applied to it than literally anything the actual daybreak devs have put into the game, and that's just sad and pathetic.
Reminds me of AAA studios like Bethesda and Bioware getting shown up by complete amateurs. It just tells you how pathetically incompetent modern developers are these days. No passion for their job, poor management everywhere, and tons of dumbfuck ideas getting implemented because complete 80 IQ morons are in charge of creative positions and constantly defer to marketing or focus groups to figure out what bland bullshit should be added to the game.
For fucks sake, planetside 2's entire gameplay mechanics have been laid out by planetside 1 and players putting together their own ideas, and these idiots still can't figure out what they need to do. They continue to take good ideas - like logistics - and turn it into dumbshit nobody asked for - like a construction vehicle that has fuck-all to do with logistics.
I would actually recommend a 3.4x scope on the gauss saw.
Try to stand still for at least the first burst. Try to burst up to about 5-7 rounds before moving. Don't burst fire less than 5-7 rounds if you can help it, the difference in how long you have to wait for your recoil to reset is negligible; like 30-60ms between a 2 round burst and an 8 round burst.
Focus on getting headshots. The Gauss Saw is a gun that relies on headshots to be competitive. When aiming, don't go for the head, aim at the neck, along or just below the line of their shoulders. Horizontal recoil puts bullets into their shoulders this way (instead of just missing like aiming at the head does), while vertical recoil pulls them into the head.
I recommend the 3.4x scope for that reason - I've put the 1x, 2x, and 3.4x scopes through their paces and I continually do better with the 3.4x because I get significantly more headshots with it, even when fighting relative CQB at ~10m. It also makes you a lot more effective 35m and out, which I find extremely versatile: I can literally go from fighting at near CQB range in a base, to walking outside and sniping someone in the head 250m away.
You may want to swap out the foregrip on the Gauss, as well. It actually increases the maximum distance you can horizontally recoil (by ~12%), even though it reduces the overall horizontal recoil per individual shot by 33% (Which I don't think is a big deal - it's already low). In its place, I'd suggest a laser sight (press x to turn it off - you still get the benefit, but no longer give yourself away through walls). Better hipfire at 5m actually complements the 3.4x scope nicely.
And I'd honestly recommend c4 instead of medkits. Much more versatile/useful. Medkits, I've found, are only useful to really good players who have an idea of how far they can extend themselves. Medkits only seem to encourage overextension, which IMO is a bad habit to have, especially if you learn to rely on them.
If you use adrenaline + nanoweave, you have more effective hitpoints than any other shield setup.
Resist maxes out at 1818 hitpoints. Adrenoweave is between 1950 and 2150 depending on whose math you're looking at. It reduces at 50 hitpoints per second, which means you've got 2.5s - 6.5s before you reach resist levels of protection. Which is pretty much a quarter to half the time someone can even have their resist shield activated altogether. (Caps out at 10s duration, IIRC)
Ostensibly, you give up slightly better protection for more utility (don't need nanoweave armor) and a longer up-time with Resist. In practice, you run into two serious issues:
1. You always have to have resist up to get the maximum benefit, but you've got a 50% movement penalty making it difficult to get into position before you've run out of shields (and an average engagement between HA's with shields is ~2 - 5 seconds, so you've only got like 5 seconds of movement freedom; go test how far you can run in that timeframe). Using resist to its maximum also assumes knowing beforehand when you are going to get into an engagement; you cannot be caught unawares, ever.
2. Due to the client-side hit detection, enemy players can deal damage to you through the shield, despite you having activated it before you saw them shooting you. This is because, on their screen, they haven't seen you activate the shield yet. Their client tells the server they hit you without the shield activated, and so that is the damage you actually take. Adrenoweave doesn't have this issue as you get maximum effectiveness no matter what time you apply the shield.
Resist COULD be good, if they got rid of the movement penalty on it and increased the up-time by at least 5 seconds. I'd probably consider using resist at that point for the sake of utility (bandolier, etc.), but as things are right now, you're going to want adrenoweave for maximum press f to win capability, because resist just doesn't help you as much.
Just had a thought.
What if we removed the ability to use sniper rifles from infiltrators and created a separate sniper class?
Cloak would be purely for infiltrators to actually 'infiltrate' bases rather than camp hillsides.
Snipers would have to go full Bush-Wookie but Infiltrators would go back to something resembling the original Infiltrator [READ: covert recon]
I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm playing this
>Get dropped into the middle of a warzone with no idea which direction I'm supposed to go
>Everyone is huddled in the spawn room with rockets and gunfire gunning us all down
>Give up on life
Why did I start playing this again?
I had someone tell me yesterday it was my fault I died because I ran on top of their grenade.
I wasn't even complaining about it, I'd jumped down to toss C4 on a max, missed and landed on their grenade and knew I made a mistake and died. Just shrugged and moved on.
I guess a lot of NC complain about getting team killed?
I don't even bat an eye at it anymore. Half the time it's my own fault, anyways.
Just remove the 1-shot kill effect from snipers.
They don't need them, and it would allow long-range infantry engagements to actually have some breathing room, instead of being instantly suppressed/killed by six snipers the moment you step 5 feet out of cover.
Don't spawn at bases that are being camped.
If you happen to spawn at a camped base like that, then redeploy somewhere else. If there's no other good fights, or you want to actually contribute to the fight you originally deployed to, then redeploy and grab a tank, sundy, or something from another base and go back and help that way.
I don't know what it is with people being complete lemmings who spawn at a camped base and run outside the spawn shield, instantly dying over and over again magically expecting things to go differently the next time. Only to get frustrated and angry 15 deaths later and call the game shit because running into a killzone with 30 enemy players shooting at them wasn't a successful strategy.
My mind literally boggles at this;
What the fuck did they think was going to happen?
Your allies are not going to pull the sundy/tank/air/whatever that will relieve the spawn camp and allow you to run out and shoot mans. Stop relying on them to do it, and go do it yourself.
In fact, every time you think, "I wish someone would get a fucking tank/sundy/esf/dildar/bubble shield/burstermax/medic/etc" Stop thinking that and go fucking do it. YOU ARE SOMEONE ELSE. BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE. DO THE THING THAT NEEDS DOING.
Would be better if it wasn't a shotgun, but an airburst grenade launcher. A minengeschloss if you will.
this is bad advice, being in a vehicle makes you bad. there are three empires and there will always be a good defending fight (60/40) or so on one of them, preferably a tower or three point base.
it's actually pretty good advice
>there will always be a good defending fight (60/40)
even the high pop servers have low pop hours with only a couple fights to choose from
your 'advice' is basically the exact same as the person you're criticizing, literally "go redeploy somewhere else"
I guess you're just being contrarian for the sake of it
>It actually increases the maximum distance you can horizontally recoil (by ~12%)
Every test I've ever done indicates foregrips reduce tolerance as well as horizontal recoil. I have yet to find a case where e.g. a 2-jump gun is increased to a 3-jump gun after adding a foregrip.
Storming the cliffs. Comrades being killed in droves. No armor support. I have had bad times there.
Even the good pilots will get complacent and hover over a fight to kill that last peasant or two with their lolpods. Not like they're ever in any real danger 90% of the time.
So I take pride in rekking them at every possible opportunity with my vanguard.
It's even better when they're salty enough about it to start flying in valks with a light assault C4 kit, trying to take you out.
went for a standard roadkill on some niggers on a hill, fucked up somehow and got a 6x roadkill
>shoot one of them
>crashes against something and dies, i get credit for the kill
>the other one starts fighting back, then opts for a tactical GTFO because no more 2v1 advantage
The Banshee was nerfed because it killed before you could hear it, and it could oneclip MAXes. The AH does exactly the same, except it can literally OHK a MAX if you are close enough. On top of that it is almost as good vs air as a real nosegun, and for noob pilots probably even better. People are unironically saying that the rotary is better vs infantry than the Banshee, and it's not because the rotary is good.
AB pods+nosegun is good for avoiding AA, but Mossies need rocket pods to have any kind of A2G firepower. That makes them slow and easily shot down.
i made that up, i was playing around with the guy and wanted to see how much he'd offer
he's deleted that char by now, but i looked him up on ps2.fisu.pw and of course, he lied about pretty much all of that.
>lierally all of your post
sometimes it's animated, sometimes not, don't know why
watching scythes get blown the fuck out is like porn to me.
I don't know about SOE live, but Blizzcon stuff can go for thousands on ebay because not many people can just go to California whenever they want. It's not the same because we deadgame, but still, I'd be pretty pissed if I physically went there, paid for the flights, hotel and entrance fees, and then some Faggatron from a third world country gets the same stuff for free. Yeah, it's not the sole reason to go there, but still very demoralizing. I hope Higby at least got into shit for it.
Most of that post is completely wrong.
I did, however, just test it and found that the SAW recoils up to 2x left or right without a foregrip, and 3x with a foregrip. The overall arc is still the same though because 2 * 0.175 = 3 * 0.11666
I have tested the CARV before and found it recoils up to 3x left or right with or without a foregrip, meaning a foregrip is purely an improvement for that gun.
I'd be perfectly fine with this.
Also remove rocket pods and hornets from ESF's
Give them iron bombs in return, which are 1-use (Or more, depending on size/type), large splash damage, and require resupply, and force them to actually make bombing runs.
Every airchav in the game will quit in disgust at needing actual skill to kill people on the ground, and whine so loud you'd be able to hear the bitching into the next millennium.
Make a gunship style valk variant that gets the AI/AV weapons the ESF's lost, in exchange for losing the squad spawn and rumble seats.
Make liberators significantly more vulnerable to AA fire from ESF's.
Make the dalton a 2-shot kill on ESF's instead of 1-shot.
Would all go a long way to fixing the serious balance issues with air.
Infilshitters can no longer sit in cloak with their head out, line up a target, decloak and instagib them, then be gone before a counter-sniper can kill them. Without cloak, they'll either have to git gud at quickscoping (something pretty much any average infilshitter will never be able to do) or get rekt by counter-snipers without cloak themselves and at least give other classes a chance to kill them/retreat to cover when they see them.
>I have tested the CARV before and found it recoils up to 3x left or right with or without a foregrip, meaning a foregrip is purely an improvement for that gun.
That would mean it has 0.477 effective horizontal tolerance with a grip. 3 * 0.212 * 0.75 = 0.477
That's also what it feels like.
but I'm lazy and my methodology is just to dump a couple magazines in ~6-round bursts, save a shadowplay recording and play it back very slowly, counting recoil jumps from center
It's actually 0.21375, but yeah its tolerance is effectively much lower than the stats would indicate.
oh so you got killed so you're nerf whining
yeah that's what i expected from the post
there is nothing supporting the stated concept "making infiltrators actually infiltrate" related to "please take sniper rifles away from cloakers because i died :(((((("
I wasn't the one who suggested the change, I was explaining it to you because a simple concept went over your head.
Actually I worked CS at SOE from 2013-2015 and I'm telling you this firsthand, giving out unsanctioned contractually exclusive codes caused a lot of internal problems, I was let go at the same time.
imagine if planetside 2 had scope glint so you could see boltshitters before seeing 100% bolt driver from a BR9 with 10 directive points on the death screen. they pretty much made BF3 in space and left this out
Did your work involve banning cheaters? If yes, was there any guideline like "if they have spent more than 100$, don't ban them for more than 3 days. If they are F2P, fuck them"
>sent from the unemployment line, my 20% accuracy CARV and sub 2000 IVI
They weren't entirely limited to attendees, am >>121398532, I was told there was a booth or something that sold an SOE live codes, albeit a limited number of them, to share with friends for $15 a pop. The friend who gave me one bought like 5 of them.
What country would have a law like that?
>switching from Connery to Memerald
>removing VS half a dozen hexes away from closet TR
>two TR repair gals ramming VS airchavs while we take the base
Heroes among men.
10/10 would give money to support this transition
what are some good sundy builds?
are the basilisks worth it any more?
>are the basilisks worth it any more?
Furys are okay close-range AI/AV, Bulldogs are kinda serviceable closer-range AI/AV, Kobalts are still good AI with competent gunners, Walkers are fun to whittle down tanks and fuck up air with, Rangers are ass
orion is shit now tbqfh, i'm one of the ones who used .75 extensively with 20k+ kills on both the orion and betelgeuse, and i've pretty much switched to the pulsar if i even bother playing VS. there's no point if you aren't going fast, msw-r or gd22s these days, they gutted the anchor as well so that's not even worthwhile
>everyone circle-jerking about the graphics
>not a single mention of the gameplay
It looks jerky as god damn fuck, look at the vanguard section where that one vanguard is stuttering like hell
POST Unique Loadouts. Fun or Situational, just has to be unique
>Be TR MAX
>Mercy on one Hand
>Mutilator on other Hand
>mfw never caught reloading
Basically the Mutilator runs out of bullets before the mercy does, and reloads while the Mercy spits out it last 10-15 rounds. Extended Magazines recommended so there's more time for both arms to be firing at the same time.
>And what’s even cooler, there’s a map. We’re going to enable this thing…this is going to be like the hunt for Osama. It’s a map app, and what we’re going to be doing is allow players to fly a drone on their phone. And then if they have a high enough level in the game, they’ll be able to launch a drone strike.
>You said its OP
i said nothing
i'm telling you you're using the wrong term, he didn't misrepresent your argument (strawman), he tried to draw attention away from it (red herring)
>are the basilisks worth it any more?
damn, I remember when they got super-buffed and they were great.
all seem to have their place.
Higby would post codes in here occasionally. I was refreshing ps2g on my phone constantly at the usual time, and finally got lucky
I noticed the candy cannon behaves very differently between NC and TR. Note how this just recoils upwards a little.
>damn, I remember when they got super-buffed and they were great.
Yeah, that lasted for about a week. They're basically the same now as they were pre-buff, which is to say bad at everything and possibly the least satisfying weapons in the game.
...and how the NC one is spastic as fuck.
Can't be bothered looking at VS cause fuck 'em
>in a huge fire fight
>sundy is getting hit
>owner of it moves it
>try to get in so I can get out of the line of fire
>You do not have access to this vehicle
these people should be skinned alive and dragged through gravel
Competent teammates make the game much more tolerable. TR has tactical superiority and higher average skill level, and that's why we do better than NC on live servers even though our weapons are technically worse.
Of course I would forget my fucking picture
Chaingun MAXes are fucking terrible and are only good for point defense. If you see one start firing at you from more than 10m away, you can literally do a 180 and find cover before more than 5 bullets hit you. Get pounders.
>tfw you spend all your time in VR training with the gun you want, but are nowhere near affording it yet.
People really do bail out of aircraft to try to save their KD, what a letdown. Just fought off my first lib in a reaver and the two dudes inside just bailed out when it was like 1/2 - 1/3 dead. It wasn't even smoking, what the hell man. What an anticlimactic end to an amazing fight.
You learn pretty quickly that airchavs are the most cancerous players in the entire playerbase.
They're almost all shitters, but they're able to statpad like crazy in an ESF/lib because of how stupidly overpowered they are.
There's no reason not to bail-assault as an ESF pilot, maxed nanite auto repair and fire suppression completely remove the need to land and repair so you might as well take the opportunity to bail and rob heavy assault shitters of a kill if you're doomed by a lock on missile. A good A2A pilot will kill you faster then you can bail usually and they'll shoot you out of the air with their nosegun even if you do manage it.
If you're not able to kill the pilot after they bail maybe you should git gud, you're missing out on the ultimate satisfaction of flying.
Do people legitimately use turbo? With radar/stealth you can get close enough easily to one hit people with the shotgun and you can see where everyone is.(as can your entire faction so you get loads of assists) Seems like a no brainer to me.
>not able to kill the pilot after they bail maybe you should git gud
Pretty much this, I've been flying for all of 6 hours now, just started yesterday. Sneaking up on ESFs with my stealth is fun, I still have trouble keeping a bead on anything as small or smaller than a harasser though. Even running MAXes give me trouble, not at all used to flying yet. Soon, though.
So far I've only had one ragetell, from a BR100 scythe using LPPA who I put my 5 roungs of poverty airhammer into, then rammed because he was trying to boost back to the warpgate. Basically said I was a fucking fag and that ramming was for noobs. Makes me wonder why a pro skyknight such as himself is farming inf with LPPA though...
You insufferable fucking troglodyte
Turbo is FUN
and is useful for getting into places no one ever imagined a wheeled vehicle to traverse
Wraith, on the other hand, is pig-disgusting cheese
which some dev thought should replace the purely self-preservative PS1 concept of weaponless stealth vehiclereserved for BR1000 bum-ticklers who want to run over keks on Esamir frozen rivers without reprehension. They are, however, an absolute joy to rocket to death when you hear the 25cc engine whirring nearby.
>You learn pretty quickly that airchavs are the most cancerous players in the entire playerbase.
The second most cancerous, nr 1 cancer is still bolt shitting.
>there are players out there that do nothing but A2G and bolt shit
