>What is Tree of Savior?
Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, and not fully released.

Is anyone on Laima? Is Mage Tower 4F still bugged?
This shit is motherfucking gay as soon as you port in from 3F you step on a portal and get tped back.
Where do I access all these other level 100 dungeons?
Reposting in case he comes back:
I'm very very late, but how does Krivis and Paladin work for Monk? I'm almost at Monk and also went Krivis for testing purposes, but Priest seems like the obvious choice for Sacrament + Blessing shenanigans.
I'm really curious about if does Zalciai really make a considerable difference for your monk crits? What about Smite, is it worth the Paladin rank? I'd appreciate your input if you're still around.
Thanks! Yet, is Smite really worth it? Wouldn't more Blessing levels overall give you more damage than a single extra damage skill that is only ever good against some specific mobs?
If so, PLEASE research/learn 'Item Awakening' and make a webm.
That skill looks so fucking freaky. You literally make your own instance to beat a boss and unlock an item.
Also, some skills that Alchemist would benefit from would be
>Thermamage's "Swell body"
EXP and Drop rate are doubled
Chance for two monsters to spawn where you just killed one. Good for mats for potions
Prior to these I would take Pyro for AoE DPS and go into Linker to link mobs into my DPS. These classes would then support my ability to farm for mats by mobbing and AoE DPS.
Sound okay for Alchemist? I want to be an Alchemist so I built this build from the top down, essentially. Looking for any other suggestions.
you are missing out on 20 extra blessing damage and 40ish extra sacrament damage per attack, but at the same time the two extra skills you get from priest aren't that good for you
smite can hit upwards of 2k on demons as soon as you get it without even buffing the attribute, paladin also has the super useful 50sp regen attribute that makes so you can ignore spirit completely, and resist elements that always helps
up to you really, both choices are good
Is swordsman<highlander<barb<barb<barb<fencer okay? I'm thinking I might have messed up by taking highlander as my first advancement and should have gone hoplite or even circle2 swordsman instead. Is this character still salvageable or should I just reroll? I also have no idea what my stat allocation should be so that's probably all messed up too
>Go from Cryomancer to Linker to Thaumaturge
>actually start having fun
Holy shit, the synergy is unreal.
>was on leaderboards
>decide to stop playing the game and just start jewing for a week
What the fuck do I do with this? I don't need it and there is nothing in the market I want even when it is up.
So this stone exists in the Owl Burial Ground that's not entirely clear what it does. It's only clickable at certain times, I've had to wait near it for several minutes before it responds. When you talk to it, it asks you for fishing rods. 1, 2, 5, 10, or 20.
A few hours later, I'm the highest on Zemyna for kills on red fishermen, and finally got 20 fishing rods to test with. It appears to give you this buff, which lasts 15 minutes and as best I can tell either gives you 150 def/mdef or doubles your defenses. Everything on the map hit me for 1's. Changing maps seems to have cancelled the buff though, and 20 fishing rods is mad expensive so I'm not really sure what the point of this is...
This is probably the best suggestion, guess I gotta finish grinding to 170.
Mostly maxed, except for a couple of the 1% bonus damage ones that I have to get around to pumping a mil or two into.
I assume this is what you're asking, so I made a quick thingy so people know how to do it.
I'll show you my alchemist build.
I might do something else instead of Pyro C3. If I enjoy linker enough, I might just go Pyro 2 > Linker 2 > Alch. Hell, I could even get something weird like Sorc. If necromancer was C5 instead of C6 I would get it for fun.
>giving tribute to a pillar for personal power
IT HAS BEGUN
>Sword is boring
>Only interesting classes in Cleric are Krivis and Pardoner
>Archer seems really mismatched and nothing looks fun until later
>Wizard feels like you're forced into Linker
Maybe this game isn't for me.
What the deal with this chest in Apsimesti Crossroads? Can't even interact.
I went C2 pyro before linker just because I wanted more fireball levels. At level 10 it demolishes bosses, usually just 4 fireballs drain a full health bar of a boss. Fire Pillar isn't great for leveling, but in dungeons it stuns all the enemies it hits for as long as it's up.
What the fuck. I just spent 10 minutes soloing a level 135 Abomination for my Rogue class quest. I had to use 13 SP potions. That's 3.7k SP used just to kill this fat lump of shit HP sponge.
Anyone on Gabija want to sell me an Arde Dagger? I'm currently using a shovel.
Raining lightning down on your foes never gets old.
I can't find anything in Wizard that interesting to fit.
Literally everyone goes pyro, ele, and linker, cyro apparently only has one really useful skill, psycho is bugged last I heard.
Like what? Psycho seems kinda fun, but I'm still stuck on rank 2.
Oops wrong screenshot.
I'm sorry anon but I don't understand what are you talking about.
It is a really long as fuck cooldown plus a long cast. You get the fillers needed with cryo/pyro.
Let's get real here. If you wanna deal damage, you go full pyro/elementalist. The fact that people go linker just for one support skill shows that they're crippling their damage for one aoe skill that should be gotten by supports as a whole. I won't say the whole meteor/link combo is bad, but the uptime is terrible.
Looks like my Alchemist build should be fun, then.
Ehhh. Maybe. I'll consider it.
How do you like using a controller for your layout as a Wizard? Is it a pain in the ass to auto attack?
No idea but that's probably similar to the one in Fedimian Suburbs, where you get a key from a local NPC after meeting some requirements. It likely has a weight+100 potion or something.
Psycho is pretty fun. But you need rank 2 to have access to a certain attribute for pressure that lets you stun shit. Then it gets interrupted far less often and you can destroy huge mobs without trouble. Also melts bosses.
You need to finish all of the quests first before interacting with the pillars.
Check the pond at Tree of Faith first, finish that quest. You should be able to interact with the pillars after beating Succubus and completing the quest.
After getting the three pillar fragments, go south at the Tree of Faith area and use the Seal of Space at the Obelisk.
Well, what's a good way to build to use Psycho? I know they have that ice wall interaction so I'd want to go cyro c1 at least.
It worth aiming for c3 Psycho? Or maybe Psycho c2 followed by c2 Chrono?
Maybe I'll try that then.
Maybe I'll try it then.
Two of our healers bailed out before entering the lvl 130 dungeon, any healer out there who can save us in this pinch?
Please post IGN
The reason to go Psycho3 is to lower SP costs for Pressure. I didn't really play it myself just know a dude who's playing it. Not sure how worthy it is to go more than one rank in Psycho, but at the same time it's hard to say if it's worth going only one rank into it since Pressure will be quite fucking hard to maintain and you won't stun.
Chrono is just kind of bad at the moment.
So what's the deal with Constructor's Chapel? Some light turned on and all the rooms in the Prayer Room are blocked off. Killed a monster and got a quest drink, which I drank. Then some random codes came out
I have finished the pilar quest, just use the seal of space near them. Do you know part of which quest this chest is?
I never experiensed any inconvenience. Plays exactly like Ys games.
>Went Memelander to BRarbarian
>Ok finally new attacks
>Cleave is shit, holy fuck i thought i was going to whirlwind/tornado myself around
>Helm chopper is a bit good against bosses, nothing else
Holy shit, do i have to keep mashing attack button for another 15 Job levels to get Seism?

Are you retarded? You use Cleave for the crit buff, not for the damage itself, and it isn't even that bad of a damaging skill.
And Helm Chopper is a fucking stun and a good source of blunt damage, fucking gee.
>The reason to go Psycho3 is to lower SP costs for Pressure.
Makes sense I guess.
>Chrono is just kind of bad at the moment.
Quicken, Slow, and Haste are bad?
Guess I could do WizCyroPsycho3Alch to be able to make myself potions?
Maybe Raise stops them from moving?
Raise does stop them from moving, that's all it does. An attribute even makes it affect Large enemies, but it does no damage, so you want it for party play
or PVP. Have fun with Telekinesis in duels
The only good buff Chronomancer has is Quicken. Slow is silly since you usually want shit to move asap to get accumulated wherever you're killing them, and Haste really is too little of a benefit for a fucking rank2.
>the select item will be locked
>right click a sword
>the locked item still replaced by new one
if this demon prison business stays like that in the next beta i wont even bother.
If it stays in release i will never play it. If i cant get to fencer without having to grind my ass off for 15 levels then fencer can go to hell.
So Raise is a 1-2 point skill then?
Now to figure out the biggest issue next to how to skill, whether to be male or female. Wiz/Cyro/Alch looks nice on both, but the female Psycho outfit looks really bleh.
Well that sucks.
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/ha3nd7g0zd/ Is this good
I wouldn't bother with raise, Gravity Pole seems to do what it does but better. Also them attributes.
I guess you could put 1 point into Raise for the Large-type monster attribute, I doubt Gravity Pole does that, to be fair.
>Trying to grind from mid 140s to mid 160s all on the same map
>So is the rest of the server
I quit. This is fucking retarded. Literally one viable levelling area, but it requires a party, and everyone is camped on this map.
It's going to be hilarious how hard this game flops once it has 1x rates and people hit this sort of grind.
>I guess you could put 1 point into Raise for the Large-type monster attribute, I doubt Gravity Pole does that, to be fair.
That's what I figured. A couple seconds of a boss being stuck means free damage with no need to dodge.
It's not useless you shitters. Lv10 Firewall hits 12 times for each tile, that's 72 fucking hits of pain.
Say you do about 300dmg per hit x 72 = 21 600dmg.
This is why you don't ask /tos/ for any advice.
how to pyro
step 1. Fire ground
step 2. run in circles
step 3. collect exp
Boss? Fire ground, fire pillar, enchant fire for fire debuff
You can also drop fireballs around, staffs let you hit them but honestly its not worth it, just drop some on your flame ground to stack up the deeps.
Flying mob? Ignore it. If you have to kill it use fire pillar.
plate, shield, and raise con some
Thats how you pyro. When you get to 4th class make sure you pick thaumaturge.
Remember to jump attack always to agro things into you fire area.
Do heavy grinding on high density maps, rush through low density areas for questing. Never use exp cards when there is a high density area you could be grinding instead.
Mage tower will suck.
Im doing offensive paladin build. Should i put some points into con? How many?
Just got to highlander C2 and used a skill reset scroll, but I'm not really sure which skills to spec into.
Catar stroke 10 is a given, but I need to know about Moulinet, Sky liner and Cross cut
Not if they are overpopulated making the not-so-inferior alternatives actually superior.
And if you increase the spawn everywhere it still wouldn't be a fucking painful experience to grind, even if you are not grinding in the best map there is.
This wasn't a "I want to grind in the best place but I can't" problem, it was a "there's only one place to grind" problem.
They haven't once addressed the issue of exp gains. They've never changed or adjusted exp gain at all outside of the bonus for it being in a beta.
During iCBT1 the biggest complaint people had was that the grind was absolutely shitty, and it hit much earlier too. They didn't fix it, they didn't even fucking care.
They're not even going to listen to us, because the Koreans are telling them that levelling is too fast. Oh yeah, Koreans have higher exp rates than us and get events giving them free exp.
The entire levelling process after Royal Mausoleum needs redesigning. It's retardedly bad and just gets worse.
Mobs spawns aren't the issue. Infact, on some maps more mob spawns would make grinding on them even less viable (enjoy being killed in 0.1 seconds when you pull a group of enemies).
There are many problems with grinding, especially at 160+. There is only a few maps with decent mob density. Some maps have mobs that are not ideal at all for grinding on, some are just too tough to kill and give shitty exp, others have mobs that can 2 shot anyone and come in large groups so you will die pulling them. Exp needed per level increases at a significantly higher rate than exp gained. Quests and dungeons stop giving decent amounts of exp. There is absolutely nothing else worth doing.
The game is so poorly designed after Royal Mausoleum I'm beginning to believe that the Koreans just don't test shit at all.
What's the fucking mystery? Catar is strong, Moulinet is strong, Cross Cut is strong, Sky Liner is strong, get all of them and at least one lvl (or 3 for the attribute) of the parry.
The problem is that the 160 dungeon gives literally no xp. If it gave as much as the 130 did at 130 (like a level and a half per run) no one would be at demon prison for long.
But i heard reports of people at 160 who got 7% from a run.
With all the complaining about the grind at level 160+, has anyone actually made a post on the forums complaining about it?
I mean, really? If it's that bad, why the fuck aren't you all telling IMC? If a ton of posts complaining about this shit are made, they're going to have to listen to it. And yet I don't see a single post complaining about it.
It doesn't matter because we have too many people who want to suck IMC instead of giving good feedback.
The only thing to do is to just keep posting your views on the forums and ignore the retard defence force.
All the people that are at that level are the fuckos who treat this like a demo, and not a beta. They're too busy with stroking e-peens to actually report bugs and give feedback.
Do paladins and monks benifit from dex? As a priest levelling you see more direct benifit from pure STR as you are auto attacking but now that you have skills dealing physical attack damage, should you re-spec into dex?
I'm gonna roll Thauma, i'm trying it now. Everyone will want to pet me and have in their BRbarian party.
not him, but i had a pyro earlier which i deleted. I only got it to 40 but i had level 5 firewall and it seemed to act like it was supposed to, 7 hits per block. They all hit in one big burst though. If something ran into it they would get hit all the times at once
was something else happening and i didn't notice?
>its shit shit shit shiiiit
I mean I'm not 160 yet but it really wasn't that bad even after mausoleum, I don't know what are you people complaining about, the leveling feels just average, I don't find anything really that bad.
My problem with the game is that it's too linear and a lot of maps have really low respawns so leveling in them is impossible, and higher respawn would make leveling a lot funner.
And no, I'm not highlander.
Man, I wish this game had some kind of function for leaving items for players to buy, and where you could search the items other players left for you to buy
There are a few people 170+ because they played 20 hours a day and beat the rest of the server to the best grinding spot (the only grinding spot).
Right now, this map which was the only area to grind, is one of the worst areas in the game to grind purely because of how many people are playing on it.
It took these people 2-3 days of 15+ hours of grinding a day to get past this shitty area. With how many people are in this area now, it's going to take you 2-3 weeks. At a massively inflated exp rate no less.
Ehhh. Circle 2 is so early you might as well reroll if you're not happy. Though personally I'm testing Highlander 2, Barb 2, Fencer anyway.
Stat reset scrolls are only 5 icoins though.
[PSA] Beware of upgrading your weapons near Psychokino's. (self.treeofsavior)
submitted 5 hours ago by RaitoGG
Psychokinos can throw your anvil and destroy it, leaving you without the anvil and also losing out on the money it cost to upgrade the weapon. BEWARE.
Seems that they've changed the way encoding works with the last kCBT patch, or IPF Suite just doesn't work with any IPF files anymore.
No more information from the files for a bit, I guess.
There is literally a section in the games code that says "increased exp rates for CBT only, remove them once CBT ends".
They very clearly know what sort of exp rates the game will have, and are listening to no one when it comes to this and outright refused to acknowledge it was a problem during iCBT1 which had "normal" rates.
No. The problem is the games design is retardedly bad. At level 160 there should be around 10-12 maps within your range you can visit and level off of, but they game is so poorly designed that you can only grind off of one of these. The other maps all have major issues that make grinding on them a waste of time to even try.
what other game has 10-12 viable grinding maps at every possible level?
have you even played a grinding game before?
people figure out which map is the best and then go to it, there is no reason to go to anything but the best, there are already maps you can go to, but they aren't the best, it's that simple.
You can change the voice pack in this game, if you didn't know yet. (self.treeofsavior)
submitted 11 hours ago * by Myrmidion
Not sure how many languages there are, but Japanese works at least.
Go to your user.xml file
Search for language
You will find two lines with "language"
Change the empty one to something like "Japanese" (for the little Weeaboo within us)
Go ingame and enjoy the cute voice while casting things.
Thanks to Steparu for showing this.
Go do the farms.
>that feel when you log in go into Mausoleum level 5 and see a blue mob in a corner and over kill it for max exp
I just jumped from 97 to 99 in the 5 minutes I was on.
The comment translates as "- CBT3 limited increase magnification : When CBT is terminated Must Always remove"
And the problem with ToS isn't that other maps are not as good, it's that they're not viable AT ALL.
One map for example has lots of enemies and would be great for grinding on. Except these enemies 2 shot you so you can't mob them at all. Infact, you cannot even grind here in any way, shape or form because you simply die too quickly.
Oh, that's interesting.
So after 135 we are essentially playing at x35 rates? And it feels this slow?
Holy fucking shit, x1 rates are HARDCORE in the most literal sense of the word.
I love it.
Not that dude but how about fucking RO? It didn't have literally 12 maps you could level in at any level, but at any level range there were multiple "BEST" maps for different classes AND for different builds, which meant people were spread the fuck out around the world, PLUS if you played in a party the best grinding maps were once again in other places.
In ToS the best place to grind is the same map for EVERYONE, in group or not in a group, and in ANY build. And they don't even have the decency to have more channels open despite the fact that level 40 maps with just a few players have 20 channels up.
Does anyone have a Medina Crossbow recipe in iCBT2 currently? If so, can you screenshot the NPC selling price of it and post?
Just for comparison, this is the price of the recipe in kCBT3 currently with the adjustments to silver drops and equipment pricing.
>It didn't have literally 12 maps you could level in at any level, but at any level range there were multiple "BEST" maps for different classes AND for different builds, which meant people were spread the fuck out around the world
This is actually the most important thing.
This is why people partied in RO, unless you're one of those that played on private servers with absurd rates making partying pretty moot.
Grinding Glastheim for a week just to jump from 98 to 99 was just like that.
>"it's a grinding game just go grind"
>"give us more quests"
As much as I appreciate the idea of notifying IMC, I doubt they'll do anything. Hell, they haven't even noticed Bokor's Hexing/Effigy is glitched yet.
It looks to me like everyone gets 5x rate and the other conditions are never even tested because everyone is above 15 so it leaves the if block immediately.
Korean quality coding.
way to prove yourself wrong
this is for korea
and because they have a base rate set RIGHT NOW doesn't mean they won't change it, they have to make the base rate something as a placeholder.
why would they keep changing exp rates across every version of the game so far if they weren't testing peoples thoughts on them?
Why does it feel like every new Korean MMO has to have a story quest?
It makes the game terribly linear.
They should have ditched the story quest thing, made quests a small portion of the game, and added a lot more zones for each level, kind of like RO.
I'd also like to see quests that are more about gathering shit to get a good piece of equipment, like RO. Rather than kill shit to get some exp.
Level 160 isn't even comparable to level 98 to 99 in RO though.
Max level is 600. Level 160 is closer to level 26 in RO. Did you ever grind for 2-3 days in RO at level 26 just to get 1 level? Because I sure as shit didn't.
>this is for korea
We're literally using the same client as Korea. This was even stated before iCBT2 started. Are you that dumb?
Read this >>121378460
>and added a lot more zones for each level
This is what they need to do. There is basically 1 zone per 3 levels right now, with minor exceptions every now and then.
Did you play RO? It took like an hour or two to hit your first job, a week to hit your second job, and maybe 2-3 months to hit level 85-90. Then you actually started to grind.
If we converted this to ToS levels, that's an hour or two to hit level 60, a week to hit level 300, 2-3 months to hit level 500-550. Then you start the real grind.
At what level should I leave Contructor's Chapel for quests to comfortably take me to 90? I haven't done Royal Mausoleum yet since when I got there I was too low level to get the quests.
muras has one of the better faces in the game actually. Still cant get over how fucked up his ears are though.
>Dievdirby statues actually work
Holy crackers I thought they were broken
Just a reminder. Grinding MMOs do not succeed in this day and age. MMOs as a whole do poorly these days, but grinding MMOs in particular are a genre even deader than WoW clones. And there is a very good reason for this. No one likes them.
Me and my buddy tried to do the C3 swordie and we both burned out by 64~65 and he doesn't even want to play ToS anymore cause he thinks the game is shit.
Well going c3 swordsman was really not a good idea and after doing my memelander to BRarian I'm actually enjoying the game.
I just don't know why you would pick Swordman 2 for a Corsair build
The damage Gungho gives you is shit and getting 10 more hits with Concentrate isn't really worth going Swordman c2
>No one likes them
No, just the vocal minority hates them and wants the companies who make them to completely turn their game inside out and make it cater to them.
If nobody liked them, nobody would have ever given a shit about this game.
>They were a vocal minority
So where are all the huge, popular grinding MMOs? Did the vocal minority stop people playing them or something?
Why is it all the biggest, most played MMOs are essentially WoW clones with little to no grinding? Are the vocal minority playing these games with multiple accounts or something?
>doesn't feel linear to me, i love how maps are unlocked and npc icons hidden
Stopped reading right there. The game is way too linear and whoever made that post has to be joking.
To anybody stuck in Mage tower 3F because the portal to 4F doesn't work, disconnect from your internet as soon as you see the loading screen, then let it load fully.
You'll get an error which is okay, then reconnect to your internet and relog in.
You should be somewhere inside 4F now.
>Why is it all the biggest, most played MMOs are essentially WoW clones with little to no grinding?
XIV has a big grind.
BnS has a fairly big grind.
Just because it isn't levels or overworld drops doesn't mean grind doesn't exist.
I don't know, I'm checking Torches at Mausoleum F1 and the Silver rates seem... higher?
I can get a lot more silver quickly. (i.e. I've already managed to farm 100k in like 5 minutes from torches.)
Also bear in mind, the drop rate for recipes and items in kCBT is a LOT higher than iCBT currently. For example, Steel Bucklers which drop at Torches, I've already gotten 4 in the space of 10 mins. On iCBT2, I don't think I even got 2 shield drops in 40 mins there.
I also came there with 370k and I'm on 500k right now. It didn't go that fast before the patch.
My thoughts are that everyone in that thread that doesn't think the game is linear has no fucking idea what linearity is.
>WE DONT WANT THE GAME TO BE LIKE WOW GO HOME WOWBABBIES
>Quests for literally every zone, no multiple zones for level ranges, mob density is shit, absolutely stupid quests that just shit out EXP cards so you can move on to the next map, even the guy who made the "leveling guide" on the forum has no real advice other than "dont use your cards until this level."
That forum gives me a fucking headache, it makes /tosg/ look like the pinnacle of discussion.
We Arle Nadja now.
I would a Vaidotas, every night
full homo and you know you would too
So TOSbase says there's a whole questline in Karolis Fountain, but I have no clue where that is or how to get there. Just beat Bramble, I feel like I'm missing something.
Requesting some info on Sadhu:
1) That Vashita Siddhi debuff looks boss as fuck at first glance, but taking another look at it suggests there may be issues. For starters, it looks like the debuff only remains in effect while you're casting it. Second, it looks like you can't do anything else in the meantime. Is that accurate? Seems like a great thing to contribute to a team while you just stand there, but I'd kind of like to... you know... do shit.
2) That's some sick damage I'm seeing with Out of Body, but then I heard it depends on the INT stat. Which nothing else I've got relies on. Is that right?
It's seeming more & more like I should stick to Bokor and take up conducting the Zombie Train.
No, that OP pic isn't influencing this.
30 damage is nothing
You could just go Sword > High and get like 1-20k with with level 5 Catar
Level 170 purple leather armor gives you 55 def
You are pretty much throwing out everything to do 30 more damage
Uh so i have to listen to it after i'm done playing?
Actually i have bgm muted ingame and playing all the OST in the background.
Few songs are corrupted, be it on YT or right in game files. Unless they grace us with some FLAC (be it physical copy) everytime i hear said songs i'm just waiting for glich to be heard.
Vassita Siddhi is pretty shitty.
OOB is affected by anything a normal spell is affected, even stepping on Zalciai with your normal body buffs your damage with with magic amplification on, and the matk contribution doubles when the soul steps on cure, zalciai or monstrance.
Bokor is suffering to level and the train scales like shit.
NPC Blacksmith repair costs on kCBT currently.
Only the Rapier is at less than 30% durability.
They have increased the Repair prices (like said in the patches, based on Item Level).
what the fuck
How the fuck am I supposed to juggle repairs + pots + attributes + equipment + companion training? Does money gain increase that much on higher levels?
I love how theirs means of combatting late/endgame money is to absolutely buttfuck anyone who isn't at that point already.
Someone in his 50s could go out in gear appropriate for his level, grind until his equipment's dead, and might end up spending more silver than he fucking made.
Yes. You'll notice a steep increase in gains when doing Gytis, and eventually end up with more money than you thought you'd need. Of course, it's going to balance out when you're leveling level 80 attributes and enchanting, but you'll still be making more money than the boss farmers at the miner's village.
30k to repair doesn't mean jack when you're pulling in 100-200k a trip at level 150+. Attributes and enchanting on the other hand...
Tree of Savior's grind isn't quite the same due to the complete lack of options. You only have like, 2 maps per level, MAX. And both of them usually suck.
Also, nobody liked the grind in the first iterations of Ragnarok Online anyway.
Swordman C3 level 115 reporting in
Don't try at home
>Vassita Siddhi is pretty shitty.
So was my description of it accurate? It looks less like a debuff and more like a pumped up deprotected zone that you yourself can't fucking do anything with while you're casting it.
On top of the ridiculous grind at 160 a level at that point is so fucking underwhelming. Great you spend 3 hours getting an absolute meaningless stat point. But oh, your class level only moved by 10%? Well guess you won't play around with anything new and interesting for another 15 levels. Demon Prisons that way.
OK guys I will make an exception just this one time and share the best mage build there is, feel free to copy me, just don't spread it around.
intended for when pvp comes out
I still need to check the silver drop rates. But don't panic.
Also note, this might not come to iCBT since the Silver rates seem a LOT higher. Also, the drop rates are a fuckton higher than iCBT's currently, so it kind of combats the higher drop rates.
If it does come to iCBT2, you guys have full right to be mad.
Anyway, I think I'll just use Squires for repairing now. 1/3 cheaper and I get over-repairing.
Sure, but claiming this game would even have gotten close to half the exposure it got due to it's status as a spiritual successor to RO is just flat-out lying. Chances are you wouldn't even know about this game if it hadn't got spread around because of that.
>i kind of prefer it to be linear, because i don't have that much time for exploring so it's easier for me to follow the story line
Actually, I found out about it via Steparu.
inb4 you try to claim he only did anything for it because of RO.
I'm making a Priest foe party play and I just hit Priest 2, Sacrament is amazing. I've read from here Monk or Paladin are the next steps. But is there any merit to go Priest 3 > Oracle? Moar blessing sounds like fun.
Can any higher levels help me out here? I'm at the Shaton Farm and I'm level 151. Only one NPC gave me two quests and none of the others want to give me quests. Tosbase says all the npcs here give quests. Did I miss something?
I get the feeling alot of players are going to be rolling squires for that sweet, sweet repair dosh.
speaking of which, where and how much are the materials required to repair?
Guys, why are none of you on Gabija in the 145 to 165 range?
I need to fucking grind Demon Prison 2 before it gets even more full than it already is. Seriously guys, if you fucks don't hit level 145 in the next 2-3 days, you're never getting past level 160.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that, but Steparu covers a shitton of games. If you're going to claim that each and every one of them, or even the majority of them are fully successful then that'd just be silly. My whole point is that the game wouldn't have the possibility of being nearly this ambitious or have a guarantee for success if it hadn't been for it's relation to RO.
Almost anything covering the game has gone into detail about that.
Even the first and second mention that Steparu made about ToS mentioned RO. Do you just think that it didn't draw attention to this or something?
You've got no choice but to grind.
If you don't you can literally ruin your character. As in, you grind for 2-3 days now, or you grind for a month+ later on. It would be easier to delete your character and start over than fuck up.
Can one of you faglords post a screenshot of Demon Prison showing just how badly crowded the channel is? Preferably with the channel tab open showing there's just one.
