Dinovaldo looks like shit but I think the design has grown on me
What monsters are you comfortable with? I use Zinogre for everything, personally, because I've fought hundreds of them, and I feel like they're a good mix of slow and fast attacks. Even if a monster's "good" for practicing against, however, it might not be good for you to practice against, if you're not familiar with them.
My suggestions, if you have nothing else, would be the Raths, Zinogre, and maybe Brachy.
36 - 3484 - 3457 - 6026
Like, turns and whatever.
Are you ready to welcome our chink overlords?
Decided to hunt my first shrouded nerscylla with my first time using a hunting horn in a fashion set with a fashion hunting horn
45 minutes and 2 carts later it's dead.
including me for thinking this was a good idea.
>First time using the weapon with the highest learning curve on an unfamiliar hunt.
Jesus, anon, why'd you think that was an okay idea? Ease yourself into that shit, man.
I don't know.
I just wanted to be a rockstar. It was even immune to dragon which was the element of my hunting horn.
Everything that could go wrong with this hunt from the very beginning went wrong.
I spent a good while just instinctively fighting the monster while looking at a chart I had written myself mid fight on what color is what button and what combo does what the first time and then repeated time.
Just so happens I'm terrible at memorization.
>Make a GS set just to fight Furious Rajang
>Shock Trap, break first horn
>Pitfall trap, break second horn
All this effort and it took me less than a minute once I actually got in
When should I start upgrading equipment? I'm about 20 hours in and I just make new shit instead of upgrading.
Also, which ranged weapon is best in groups? I'm thinking about picking one up for groups where nobody else plays ranged.
>there's nothing difficult or skillful about learning [weapon]'s moveset and how to use it effectively, the hardest part is [easy to learn gimmick]
Love this meme. It's only applicable in LR where the game is basically entirely hack and slash, so I wonder what that says that it gets tossed around so much in /mhg/.
But the memorization of notes is easily the hardest part about Hunting Horn. Each of HH's hits are clean and precise and you only eliminate two (upswing and super pound) for rare use online.
Even in higher ranks the same applies.
If you're playing HBG even remotely well, you're probably contributing more damage than most, if not all of the Blademasters. Are you staying within range? Not getting hit? Shooting weakspots most of the time? Then you're fine.
Like I said, love this meme.
With freeform combos, moves with hitboxes that tend to the side or very high or very low, which of two moves each button produces depending on the move you used last and your recitals and encores having several options based on where you are in a combo and what direction you're holding each with different lengths, repositioning and number of hits, and stringing all of this together to juggle several buffs to keep up, HH's moveset is far more complex than most weapons', and that's before considering things like motion, exhaust and KO values. Meanwhile you don't even need to memorise songs, just keep them written down off to the side and glance at them while you're locked in an animation. After playing each a few times they should be ingrained in your memory anyway.
Are you in crouch fire?
You are doing the most or close to the most damage
Why aren't you in crouch fire?
>Doing something that isn't dodging
you're doing it wrong
I didn't get to play much before having to quit, so I'm only in the low 500s, but I used to play with people like
Arslan, Jhaerin, Vodka etc. Those fuckers killed monsters dead cleanly, efficiently and fast, no matter what you threw at them. I posted some GQs in turns rooms recently and it felt like I was playing with baguette randoms.
Do people actually look up motion and exhaust values? I just tend to dodge and stab the monster during openings. What's the point of this stuff?
A weapon doesn't have to be complicated or have a steep learning curve to be good. The HBG is incredibly simple, and that's precisely one of the reason why it IS so effective.
I suppose you could make an argument regarding weakpoints, but that applies to every weapon at some point, so it's not really a point just in HBG's favor.
Are you using DB or SnS? Because those weapons work pretty well with what you describe for the most part. You're not going to perform close to optimally if you don't either know those values or take advice from someone who does with most weapons though.
So I picked up Soul Sacrifice on the recommendation of some anons from the previous general and I have to say
I should have expected it from the name, but good lord could this game be any edgier
But it's not. It's the ranged equivalent of, "Hit the Monster, Don't Get Hit". Just like GS, once you know the fight, you can HBG it. Like I said, there's four buttons to memorize.
For contrast, throw someone with absolutely ZERO experience into a Diablos fight, arguably the easiest monster to use CB against, and see how well they do. Without a proper knowledge of guard points, shield charging, and what moves do what when you press what button, they're gonna cart quicker than you can imagine. Give them an HBG, and they'll do far, far better almost every time.
Don't even have to sheathe most of the time.
Yeah I did pick up the delta version, just forgot that mattered.
But seriously, I'm an edgelord, and this game is just ridiculously edgy
As someone that doesn't use either weapon often, I find CB way easier than HBG. Not that guy, just a third party chiming in. CB is fucking effortless to use, you don't even have to worry about positioning. In fact I'd go so far as to say that if you dumped someone who knew nothing about the weapon into a diablos fight their biggest mistakes would be trying to worry about positioning and not knowing they can guardpoint. If you gave each a five minute rundown of what each weapon is capable of and what each button does beforehand I'm pretty sure the CB would perform much better than the HBG.
Yeah. They could benefit more with a bigger contrast between holy and dark. About 10 times edgier than bloodborne, but that is part of the appeal.
Yeah. I remember what it was like when I used HBG for the first time. You shoot. You dodge. You repeat. I should mention as a disclaimer that I do not have brain damage. This may affect the outcome of your experience.
CB, on the other hand, had so many tricks and nuances, that I was still learning shit a hundred hours in. It's got so much shit to remember at first. Sure it becomes second nature after a while, but so does anything, and that's not what we're discussing anyways.
The point originally brought up was, what weapon is more complicated. It would take more time to go through each and every one of CB's different moves. There's GPs, shield charging, phial damage, AEDs, Super AEDs, side-stepping, side-stepping roundslashes, double shield thrust into AED/shield charges, GP into AEDs...
HBG has: point, shoot, reload, don't get hit. Oh, and you can reload while performing a jumping attack. And you have some self-explanatory ammo that comes in levels. Voila: you're done.
you can solo monster using it like sns, no problem, and you are ignoring what makes the hbg troublesome: the critical distance, the sheate-unsheate time and the fact that people are not good at not getting hit and the cb at least has a reliable shield.
Okay, but that doesn't actually translate into how much skill it takes to pick up each weapon and to get competent with it. HBG is SIMPLE, but it is also HARDER and has a steeper learning curve. CB has a higher barrier of entry, but that's not really a big deal; No weapon has a barrier of entry that should take more than five minutes to overcome. The biggest part of CB's barrier of entry is knowing to charge your phials so you don't bounce. You don't need its whole moveset in detail to learn how to use it, you just need to know how to charge your shit, what guardpoints are and how to do the AED.
My opinion, CB is much more complicated than HBG.
What's difficult about playing HBG (solo) is finding proper windows to reload/sheathe and the fragility of your hunter.
In a group HBG is significantly easier on you since you have 3 meat shields running about tripping the monster.
Please note that while HBG is simple at its core, some of the lesser known mechanics are still very important, like what ammos cause higher recoil and critical distance.
Meals don't apply in the Arena. You can only use preset items. The goal isn't just to kill the monster, it's to kill the monster in a certain amount of time with what you're given. It's the purest form of TA. That's kind of the whole point. You don't get to bring in anything of your own including food buffs, whatsoever, you take what you're given and succeed with it.
Sorry if it seems like I'm saying the same shit over and over, but you said you didn't get it the first time, so
>Please note that while HBG is simple at its core, some of the lesser known mechanics are still very important, like what ammos cause higher recoil and critical distance.
But I don't use HBG so its nuances don't exist! It's a braindead weapon, you just point and press shoot!
I assume that was a passive-aggressive crack at me, and I do use HBG. I just happen to find it easier than CB on a fundamental level, and it was far easier to learn, which was the original point of this entire discussion.
I'll second this
HBG is my favorite weapon but it isn't complicated
The only time I ever really count stagger limits is when using Normal shots. Honestly I wish they added more fun things to play around with like imagine Normal 3 having a max of 4 shot ricochet but could bounce off the ground and environment. That would make for some fun.
At least MHX looks like they are giving support to people who want to use CF for the entire fight while soloing. I'm hoping Bushido HBG will be viable
More a passive-aggressive crack at everyone who shitposts like that. "Some weapon I obviously don't use/have only maybe used on a low rank monster one time in a group of four is braindead, you just do one of its combos at the monster until the monster dies." Every weapon is pretty complex, Monster Hunter is a difficult game once you get past early high rank, and no weapon is totally braindead.
I still hold the position that CB is easier to learn to use well (solo) than HBG is, though. In multiplayer HBG is far easier, but that's an entirely different cup of tea.
Because I'm enjoying the game with a trio of bros and don't want to break it and ruin it for myself. OP armor makes things go by far too quickly.
Nerscylla, Reapers Stroke, Rarity 9. w/ Ice (speed) Kinsect.
I want to hone it and get leech for it so badly.
Relic sets are pretty shit senpai. Do you mean clownsuits or event sets?
Anyway I like Kushala for glaive. Looks nice, and since it doesn't have a shield and does have long animation locks that mean canceling as soon as you can and then having a longer evasion window is often helpful if not crucial, the evasion skills help even more than on most weapons.
I'm making a gimmick set to use with Shah lance, which of these 3 should I go with?
Yes but I don't want it. Event sets are cheap DLC capcom released to make things easy for casual players. Look at the mario hammer, it gives your felyne +222 attack. Thats fucking insane when most G-rank scraps barely touch 200.
You said you didn't want your armor to eclipse theirs. Getting everyone star knight solves that problem. If you want armor thats as shitty as their non-SK will be then just take off a piece or something.
I just took the pictures from ASS, no side or rear shots available. Agna's helm and the wings are the only things that look noticeably different from the side, the helm looks like some Roman shit and the wings are actually offset from each other. Agna's gear also has a purple/green pearlescent effect on the hardened magma segments that you can't see.
I'll just go ahead and go with the first 2, I already have an Agna helm so I can just make a Mono helm and see which looks better ingame. Thanks for your fashion critique~
I don't want to use event anything until we're all G-crown or so.
So star armor is a no go. Its also tacky as hell and flashes rainbow colors.
I'm looking for G-rank monster sets that bestow decent skills for Glaive. not a good all around set.
It's just Guard+2/Awaken/Razor Sharp/Crit+2. Not great but it still outdamages the other craftable para lances most of the time even without Ch+2/HB. My original plan was to have Ruthlessness instead of Crit Eye for the negative affinity negation but the chucklefucks at Capcom decided only gunners should get Ruthlessness relics. I could probably (easily) get better skills but I wanted something that matched the color of the Shah lance.
Agna X helm, Rebellion Z mail, Mono X arms, W. Fatalis waist, Mono X legs.
Buffs, hopefully useful ones. I don't expect KOs, gluing yourself near the head on 140s is often suicide. Attacking frequently enough to exhaust flinch the monster would be nice. And for the love of god, do not fucking superpound your team.
What weapon would this work well with?
>bill murray adds me on steam
>asks to play monster hunter
>we have a grand old time and blaze through the apex quests
>seriously bill's skill with the gunlance is incredible, he shows it's a really great weapon after all
>in the hall he says "let's hunt Shah next"
>I post the quest while he goes to change equipment
>switches to DB
>as soon as we enter the quest press skip
>bill makes me sit through the entire cutscene
>as soon as we gain control he chugs a mega dash juice, runs up to me and starts staggerlocking me
>keeps doing this until I cart, he somehow still have health left
>use my "Thanks!" chat macro sarcastically
>by the time I get back up he's healed
>starts coming toward me
>try to get away but he catches up because I get hit by a meteor
>stunlocks me again until I cart again
>as I'm carting he says in chat "nobody will ever believe you" and then dcs
>by a lance of all things
Anyone else doing the Attack On Titan event in MHXR ? How do I fight the Colossal Jho ? He looks so bad ass but All its making me fight is the 15m Bear. I have been farming HR15 for a good 2 days. Is there a trick ?
>pic related the bad mother fucker himself
>you now have to wear a full set of armor from a specific monster in order for the skills in it to activate
>added crafting system in which you are able to "recraft" a piece of armor with other monster's materials for them to change properties
>for example, forge rathian mail but reforge rathian mail with lagi materials to change skills but keep the original rathian mail skin
please fix clownsuits capcom
Why don't you come up with a mixed set on your own right now and show me what it looks like? You're the one stuck to full set faggotry and you have the GALL to judge any mixed set on how it looks.
Guess I'll throw my Zinogre hat in the mix. D-do your worst guys.
Honed Blade, Guard +2, Awaken, Artillery Novice. This came about 'cause a top raw 40 purp CB with (290) para is one of the only bones this game tossed me.
Honed Blade, Razor Sharp, Load Up, Dragon Atk +1 (Not really intended as a definitive element set or anything, I just kind of like it)
*edited for correct skills
This is really, really ugly man. the colors clash, its fucking flashy, and has cat ears.
Get some fucking decent armor holy shit. also stop being a faggot playing a girl and delete your profile and make a new one LIKE THE MAN YOU ARE.
The hats are interchangeable, at least. There are definitely some gunner pieces I would be willing to sacrifice defense to use, but on the flip side, gunners with blademaster defense would be broken as fuck.
Actually I don't use this in /mhg/ rooms because gittin gud is taking it's time.
Honed blade, horn maestro, challenger+2 and razor sharp.
Shows navel and spats so you can keep hard and hot.
Worse than hitler.
with 713 Attack 40 Purple
Not the most optimal but I think it looks coo.
What if my huntress has a thing?
Obviously. It's a girl's penis.
okay. i fucking give up.
Where are the Gargwa eggs in MH4u? Its like they disappeared after the first one broke. I've been to all 9 areas and walked for over half an hour, and still can't find any.
What is it with you people and your bait?
Why can't you just give a solid answer like a normal prson instead of HURR DURR, THIS IS BAIT!
Getting really sick and tired of this crap on /v/ and 4chan in general. its long voerstayed its welcome. I welcome some other hot meme or some crap, just make bait disappear off the face of the fucking earth already.
You're kidding right? What the fuck. Rathian eggs are in a fucking nest. Waht makes these chickens so special?
I'm legitimately pissed off now. holy shit.
Should've read your hunter notes!
>Fightless, plain-dwelling bird wyverns with vestigial wings. Quite timid, Gargwa have been known to lay eggs when other creatures surprise them from behind. They are raised as livestock in numerous villages.
For what it's worth, wyvern eggs, herbivore eggs, and powderstones are all from gather points. Gargwa eggs (and golden eggs) are the only 2 transport items that you need to hurt a monster to get.
You two pass. Be on your way
Tickets for you, you and you.
The slut look was 3 years ago.
At this moment the current ticket count is:
If I see one more bad mixed set for CB, a penalty will be incurred.
Fashion police report over.
Where do you think we are?
I remember the time a fashion hunter was the one who mixed, gaijin shitter was the one who spouted the term in his videos and pubs misunderstood it to full sets.
Sluts are in season, baby.
"Bait" is just a short way of saying "stop pretending to be stupid to farm reactions." If you find your genuine posts regularly being called bait, I have bad news and I have worse news. The bad news is that you're falling victim to something akin to what is called Poe's Law, and the worse news is that you're retarded.
I just need to make the Dragon Claw X gloves to finish off my set. Please join me to help kill G Rank Fatty
>full sets are uglier than clownsuits.
Slut 4 lyfe. Lipstick comeback when?
clownsuit: a suit of armor composed of parts from different monsters that don't look good/don't make sense/look dumb together just for the sake of skills a.k.a needing crutches to be good at the game
Not all fashion, just shitty avant-garbage. That shit's like the equivalent of splatter painting, though. Sturgeon's law, etc. There's also real fashion like this.
I will never get sick of staring at my armored ass while I gun shit down, and I don't give a FUCK what you think.
pls no bully
>still looks retarded
You're full of shit and arguing just to argue or your taste is terminally impaired.
The goal isn't simply to draw reactions, it's to create something beautiful. If you want reactions you just pretend to be retarded on the internet.
Oh I get it. Mixed sets are crutches and full sets are not at all easier to make for lazy hunters like yourself.
>ticketing for sluts
Turn in your badge you fraud.
>easier to make
>lazy hunters like yourself
so getting good while working with what I have (suboptimal skills) AND looking good in the process makes me lazy haha okay man
Many of my slut suits are naturally shown in Athena's once I put my talismans.
And going to battle Jhos,Diablos and other dangerous mons is much more slow if you don't pack as much damage boosters as you can.
It has a patterned undershirt which is also skin toned, of course it looks retarded.
Beauty is subjective but apparently only people who thinks they know their shit are almost always on top of the bad taste meter as attested by millions of fashion normies.
Turns room's up, come post whatever.
the pass is
Probably for the fake tattoo look. I agree that's not really the best but make the undershirt black and it's 9/10, would be 10/10 if the fabric didn't look sloppy in a rather unstylish way.
>more slow if you don't pack as much damage boosters as you can.
Literally like 2 minutes more slow. I encourage you to try it with a full set and see it for yourself.
Look I'm not gonna tell you to stop wearing <<clownsuits>>, I've just always been too concerned with how my characters look and I'm just kinda bored right now really, so I wanted to stir some shit up.
SHITPOSTING THIS HARD IS GONNA GET SOMEONE KILLED
GIMME YER BADGE
AND YER GUN
>Literally like 2 minutes more slow.
I'm talking about Apex and post 126 subspecies who have two trucks of health, damage boosters also help the proc of tripping and flinching which I love.
>Implying there's shitposting in a dead general
I can't tell you my fashion sekritz! But it's:
Grand Mutsu Jingasa
Kaiser Vest X
Grand Mutsu Koshiate
GX Hunter's Jambs
Can tweak it while maintaining the same basic appearance for a huge assortment of different skills. It's the best.
So to wrap this shit up can we all agree clownsuits are shit and ok to be frowned upon.
Mixed sets that actually look good can be good and useful.
And there's nothing wrong with full sets.
Clownsuits in the 3U sense of the word? Yeah.
But now every mixed set is treated as a clownsuit.
Also, full armors are pretty lacking if not for the uglier ones being Garuga, Memeknight and Gold jang.
Remember intercourse with flying wyverns is forbidden by the guild.
Does the Lagi SnS have any niche? Seems like Rajang is the most useful if the monster is weak to raw but also takes decent thunder, and the Kirin one is good against monsters that are really weak to thunder but are more resistant to raw. Lagi kinda falls in the middle so I'm wondering if it has any practical use?
>used to play ever since launch
>used to be able to 140 Rajangs and Teos consistently
>decide to pick up again because midterms are over and I want to celebrate
>I'm shit at the game all over again
>Cant even do the village furious Rajang
When I quit, hacked quests were just starting to be made
Is there a way to hack perfect relic weapons now?
I don't mind save editing
Guess I'm just retarded. Thanks anyway.
No way with CQ's because you can only give beshackled weapons/armor, not actual equipment. Plus you'd need the quest to have a bias (so a GQ) otherwise they turn into "bad items" or something.
Save editing yeah.
I bought an actual powersave but its somewhat limited in what it can do. You'd probably need something even more complicated than that to generate relics from scratch. But you'll have to find something yourself. I can't help ya.
Well, it has better white and purple sharpness than Rajang and better purple than Kirin, and sharpness is a major concern with SnS. It also has a slot over Rajang, though it's lacking some defence on Kirin. It's worth noting that barely anything actually takes significant damage from any element, and elemental is usually worth half to two thirds as much as raw, so even ignoring that a given element is circumstantial and on fast weapons like SnS elemental is often not as valuable as raw- Probably why the kirin sword also has defence up, two slots and a shitload of white sharpness, which are all nifty.
The lagi sword at a glance looks to me to be just better than the rajang sword for what you described for it, honestly, between the better sharpness and the extra slot. It sacrifices some damage, sure, but given how fast SnS sheds sharpness lagi will likely come out ahead in the long run. Besides, for monsters that where you'd sacrifice that much elemental for raw, you should probably just go for reigning grissword and not worry about the thunder. It has a slot, fantastic white sharpness, 20% affinity, massive raw and blast you can awaken if you have easy access to that skill on your set for even more damage that's fairly consistent regardless of monster. The downside is that it looks like fresh ass.
I wish elemental wasn't shafted so hard for whatever reason. It could add a layer, if a small one, of interesting depth to the game, but ultimately, even for the weapons that make the best use of elemental, raw is better by g rank.
Depends on your weapon. Heavy hitters like GS, CB, Hammer benefit from sleep most. Anything that hits fast like SnS, DB, IG, etc. can keep poison up all the time.
Blast is generally useful at least on shorter hunts. Paralyze is always useful but it doesn't last long.
When people stop tripping lancers.
I was doing a rough estimate in my head, but before factoring in monster resistances but after everything else (and rounding everything but the average MV down, so it favours raw) neodignis at purple has 108 combined elemental and raw damage while the rajang club has 103; But after factoring in that most resistances are about twice as high for elemental, and as such halving the elemental damage, that's 88 to 88, so they're tied.
However, so is rajang's blue to neodignis's white, so I guess you're at least partially right. In the long run rajang effectively has more sharpness than neodignis.
>tfw I want to make a final commemorative quest to reach HR999
>tfw when it's either kill a G.Jaggi with torches or pic related
>use sleep in multiplayer
>monster passes out
>woken up .0006 seconds later by DB
>there's two GSes in the group and everyone has bombs but this slick son of a bitch couldn't sacrifice three to ten seconds of DPS
Every single time.
I'm pretty sure torches only do damage to bananas. In fact I'm not even sure if it's actual damage or if they're just scripted to die in two hits, since two hits does it regardless of what rank they appear in and two hits is also what drives small predators away.
>not a naked Dah'ren
It's like you don't even care about bookending.
Huh, never gave it much thought. Though, I have my own Dah'ren quest that I'd like to do naked.
Sorry, anon. If you don't believe the wiki you can always test it out, best way to make sure of something.
Guys, I've never gotten help in my entire time playing this series, but I give.
For some reason, this Pink Ian I need to fight to rank up is just the worst.
Save me from this nightmare.
If I were confess to mhg kinda out of nowhere that I'm suicidally depressed and would totally love a long-session naked hunting party today to keep me engaged on something that isn't my brain, would you all call me a faggot or take it seriously?
Asking for a friend, am I right, my normies?
This is the end.
Naked Hunter 4 Ultimate:
Bloggy Bullshit Edition
I'll be here all day. We've got some Elder Dragons to chew through.
So, they claim all previous DLC is available to download, but I appear to have gaps.
Only Monster Fest 1, 5, and 7 show up on my list. Is this how they were released? Or is something weird going on.
Newcomer to the series, I hesitated a long time to buy the game but after playing the demo for a few hours and reading lots of opinions I decided I'd give it a try.
I just beat the Gore Magala (though with only 1 minute remaining) in the demo second try after defeating the Testucabra a few times.
I'll receive the game on monday.
How much butt-devastation can I expect from getting shrekt by the game's monsters? At which rank are you expected to fight a Gore Magala?
First time is still in low rank, but there's two quests where you fight it without killing it before you have to fight to the death.
Hopefully you can become proficient enough before then.
Also for god's sake do some of the single player before trying multiplayer
Alright, I really don't want to see what's above low rank if that thing is low rank.
I plan on doing singleplayer until I get stuck, don't worry senpai.
The charge blade is the only one that doesn't make me want to kill myself to be free from the clunkiness. When I was trying other weapons I was considering not buying the game. I'm a bow/magic user in most games so I tried the bow first and it was terrible due to controls.
I tried a bunch of other weapons but I felt what I was doing was pure shit and didn't show what I would be doing in the end game.
So I watched gaijin's hunter demos and the charge blade attracted me most so then I watched the tutorial and tried gitting gud at it.
Gitting gud at it is so hard I haven't even tried other weapons since. I still fail at using guard points or whatever they're called.
I wish that one day they just released a title with only the real monsters instead of filler content like dromes, ggis, royal ludroth, barroth, the lagombi family and so on.
Yeah, okay, you'll do fine, I guess. CB is favored as one of the most powerful weapons this generation.
But the demo is pretty accurate: MH is all about slow and clunky, and having to really understand your moveset and mobility at any given moment. You commit to every move and have to weave this into the monster's own behavioral patterns.
For the Bow, it's highly recommended you make some control adjustments, such as increasing reticle speed and using the touch-screen d-pad (unless you've got a twin stick add-on). It is a middle-to-low DPS weapon, though, and relies on consistent hits on weak points (which can be difficult depending on which bow you're using against different monsters).
Maybe CB just flows better for him? Plus it's still got a shield.
Thanks for the flowchart.
Makes me sad that the CB is one of the best weapons, I'd rather be the underdog. But I'm not a hipster so whatever, it's the only weapon that feels good to me so far.
>responding to bait from a shitter that can't do anything but post his shitty picture over and over
The color is the only thing they have in common. The gimmick is nothing alike, one is checking his surroundings while the other is prepared to pounce on something.
The second example is even worse, the only thing they share is being a spiky Deviljho.
>I'd rather be the underdog
Not in MH you don't.
I'm usually the same, I like being the little guy that has to put effort in to perform on par with his competition, but in MH it just means wasting time taking longer to kill things than you should. You said yourself you took like 45 minutes to kill Gore Magala. You need all the damage you can get your mitts on.
Bro that's the old picture you saved. Latest one is here >>121416469
Running some low rank stuff, starting at HR3. If you happen to be awake and in that level range/have a low rank set feel free to join me.
>detonation doesn't kill
>oh shit oh shit oh sh-
>boomerang return strike
Things are lookin up.
No, they won't be able to beat Gogma while naked.
At best, three people will wear armor, and one person will remain naked, and the naked person is gonna be the one to report the gogma kill.
I don't see why Gog will be worse than they faced before.
It's slow and easy to dodge.
What's the general opinion of GX Crimson and GX Esurien? Are they armors for shitters?
Specially for GX Esurient.
Although I'm wearing it anyway. Nothing beats the feeling or a full reward screen and a pouch stuffed with carved parts
We're almost there. Constant vigilance!
Oil falling on them will be either a one hit or a 2hit ko.
Gogma may be slow, but his oil, random jumps, and chip will be hell.
>someone is doubting me!
>It must be bait!
Look at your teo picture m8.
You can't even tell the person who took it is naked, and no one else is in the picture.
How about prove me wrong?
show the armor screen, and have everyone in it next time.
Keep that tinfoil hat on, anon. The naked runners are basically mhg canon at this point
>be low Rank, new to the game
>try and take down guild hall Gypceros by myself.
>keep on dying, get so mad at one point that I cracked my new 3DS and had to get it repaired with Nintendo
>just realized now that I probably shouldn't of been trying to solo guild hall shit by myself when I still barely understood the game
>Holy shit, that anon might be right!
>Better call him paranoid, that'll disprove him!
I've got nothing against you guys, if it is all legit, then good.
but replying negatively to doubt only makes me doubt you further.
Just prove me wrong once.
I have never seen a gogma run where no one gets touched by oil.
Running gogma will be pretty difficult
Running the risk of being that guy that posts a tumblr link, I swear to you, the run has been legit.
One close call when some fuckers waltzed into my snek urgent with rare-10s and I didn't check em, but I didn't save.
Honestly, I'm not worried about Gog. We've dealt with the RNG bullshit with Dala and Shag.
Double Cephadrome is worse.
Other monsters are different.
Taking 0 damage from gogma is nearly impossible with the oil puddles, chip damage, and random jumps.
Dala's meteors have huge tells and don't stay on the ground once they land (like oil)
Oil still does damage when it's on the ground.
Being able to hit gogma while using a blademaster weapon without even looking at the oil in the wrong way is a laughable feat.
List any fixed spawn monster, a weapon and a set, I promise I'll do better than you. But you're probably gonna chicken out of that.
Can you fight Gogma without touching oil?
I didn't think so.
>sharpness+1, razor sharp and earplugs right out the box without any additional gems
>7 free armor slots
What weapon could I feasbily use this set for? I was thinking hammer or Hunting horn depending on the charm I use
>Japan's Nintendo wins exclusive deal for Capcom's Monster Hunter 3 title
Why is this allowed?
No after tri they did go back to psp.
>that feel when felyne carver [low] activates, and the fifth carve is a gem
