alright, hopefully this thread sticks and we can use the updated op instead of incorrect links thatd skip a whole thread.
also that threads being spammed, guess thats why it was a thumbnail
youre asked to nerf one thing about your class, what would it be and why?
pay rent if youre going to live in my house
>some model edges contain shiny yellow pixels
>pc sounds like it's trying to reach escape velocity into the stratosphere
>tfw gpu is dying
Couldn't even save a screenshot cause it failed, but it looked pretty cool.
I sure do love video card shopping.
There's my blogpost for the thread.
Hey dummies Are these threads still shit
NIN almost at 60, excited to start trying endgame stuff.
And so another thread dies...heh
its death brings me joy... but it's too little to ease my suffering..the new thread will be even more shit...it's an endless spiral to infinite shitposting...
>Still only neverraep and fractal for 5+ months
Just fuck my shit up. Considering main scenario will never add ARF I doubt expert will ever change.
disgruntled demon boys
slash Thunder potencies in half so that entire stupid part of BLM can be 100% ignored.
does anyone know what set is for each class
Iiiiit's beginning to look a lot like Crashmas,
Jesus christ it gets worse as i turn down the AA to the lowest, but if i set it to "trilinear" it mostly goes away, and highest AA it comes back again but not as bad as lowest.
xth for midlanders! please don't edit my pics silly boys!
>He doesn't love me back..
Will I EVER finish the last quest of the 3.0 MSQ??
Who in their right mind would think about nerfing something about their Class/Job..
I guess DRG's Wheeling Thrust or Fang and Claw.
I don't mind it at all, but the concept of a coin-flip between two skills that have the same effect aside from the position bonus I don't see necessary. We could've received something better.
Probably nerf the new positionals back to only like 150 potency instead of 200 when not hitting from the right area.
highlander cause they got the biggest tatas
i suppose i should discuss about my own classes as well;
people argue that cleric stance should be whm only, but i feel that might be a bad idea for dps races/checks. i guess some sort of penalty/restriction
during heavy updates and HW release, that was common.
>my fat face in the corner
i look so worried and fishy!
I love you /xivg/
You guys are cool
Even if your discussions are shit a lot of the time
I just want God to come back.
There are cool people here, but the anonymous nature of the board, despite all of it's benefits, inevitably leads to shitposting.
It also doesn't help that you have people here that are a legitimate threat to society who post here (in these threads) daily.
When will SE drop the best job so I can be him?
>admitting to being part of the problem
If you see something you don't like, ignore it
99% of attention seeking faggots will disappear this way, it's not even an exaggeration
id rather be this guy
>no /hairflick emote
As I'm sure you know, part of the problem is that then they either respond to themselves or ask their friends to make responses for them, constantly, until some poor anon wandering in the thread happens to make a response. And then things explode.
>tfw no katana like sword for DRK to go with a yakuta
No the eso one doesn't count, thats not a fucking katana its a curved bastard sword
I'm going to pursue justice, myself.
>legitimate threat to society
Is it that bad?
Also, what ilevel would be good to get into savage with?
They mentioned stuff about DV and clemency too. God I hope they shave off a second or two from clemency or make it uninteruptable at LEAST. pld would be great if their heal wasn't interrupted by someone passing gas in the same zipcode.
I've been searching for the axe to add to my collection, but on top of people STILL being unable to Divebombs properly, the axe never drops.
I've seen enough SCH/SMN books to fill the Gubal Library TWICE.
>leveling DRK, Nidhogg's Big Gay Fortress, last run before 56
>rotating cooldowns like a fucking boss
>WHM never attempts to DPS, no Holys, no Aeros, nothing, only Cure 2, Regen, and Medica 2 including pre-pull
Why should I care if they don't?
If run undersized with like 1 tank 1 heal and decently geared DPS you can skip the DB phase and kill Nael just after the second fire cast.
As a BRD main, make all Heavensward actions only available under the effect of the Wanderer's Minuet. This would make Sidewinder and even the Warden's Paean unavailable if you don't have the ability turned on.
How can you talk when you're busy being exploited like the moonslut you imply that you are?
If they're in full healbot mode, might as well go full DPS mode. Keep doing what you're doing, "rotating cooldowns like a fucking boss" and all of that smooth jazz, but don't be afraid to push for more DPS if you catch on that the healer isn't going above and beyond.
I've found more competent people willing to do T13 than T9. I mean, that's not a big deal since T13 is pretty hype anyway, but I really want the High Allagan Battleaxe.
This is actually wrong.
Piety is a lot more important right now since secondary stats reset. Just like piety was back in 2.0
Not only that but crit/det/ss are really shitty on healers
Plus general healer requirements have gone up in savage, as well as mana costs to dps (Broil/Stone 3 costs)
There is no reason to not main stat piety
I'm not even anyone else in this conversation, that's the first thing I've posted.
People freak the fuck out because Crit and Det are now worth like 0.15 of a main stat instead of 0.3 (even though you're getting twice as many of each on every piece of gear so there's no practical difference). Piety still only gives like 6.5 MP per point of Piety, when your MP pool has more than doubled and the MP cost of spells have more than tripled. It's entirely comparable to what happened to Crit and Det.
Not even the Claymore? I mean, it's a damn fine weapon. It may just be a blown-up version of the dagger, but it's pretty stylish.
Assize restoring percentage-based MP isn't some secret WHM master gamechanging mechanic.
Natural MP regeneration is already based on a percentage. Over the course of three minutes, you'll regenerate 120% of your MP pool. Assize increases that from 120% to 140%. It's nice, but it's not where your MP is coming from.
Preciesly, and that's exactly why you stack Piety. The more MP you have, the more you recover per tick. Which allows you to cast more spells without running low and needing to ask your bard/MCH for MP. Simple as that.
Okay, I give up. I didn't know that there were sports-team-level fans of fucking stats in video games that flip their shit if someone says something as innocuous as "the relative worth of each point of stat A has gone down just as much as the relative worth of each point of stat B". I didn't even say it was bad. Seek counseling.
Honestly, SCHs need to stop thinking their the kings of all classes and stop lecturing others on how they should build themselves.
It's no wonder SCHs were agreed to be the worst playerbase.
Yes, you can have multiple XIV service accounts on the same SE account, so you can can dualbox on the same computer or on a different one under one singular SE account. Or have another person play with that service account. When you select Data Center, it asks afterwards which service account you're going to proceed with.
Again, this is wrong.
Piety deflated less because Mana per fight went up, as long as mana per spell in stone 3/Broil. Required healer DPS also went up. Having a lower ilvl compared to base level also means that random piety gear isnt enough to cover the spell costs like it was in FCoB.
Mana is more important than ever in alex. The stat itself has gone down minimally but the importance has gone up, which balances it out.
Woo, finally got Heavensward! How should I celebrate?
I'd prefer having high crit, low piety on every piece of gear if I could. Crit assize is just so satisfying.
After a certain point, piety feels like vit, where having too much is wasted. I'd rather have stats that increase my dps directly.
It is going to be so funny when you do le epic Osama beard edit meme to someone for the 1203rd time in 4 days for hours on end, non-stop. Have you thought about making a reddit account to do it on the ffxiv subreddit?
The best option is to kill yourself. Failing that, cut contact. Transfer to a different server if you need to. Do something about it before you end up in a depressive spiral
like I did.
This is always the worst possible thing to do in this kind of situation. Unless they reciprocate already, they will not have noticed, or are openly ignoring/discouraging it.
I've never taken lewds in FFXIV, how does it work? I've only done stuff in
There is no fight in this game where you can intentionally not go oom if you try. Limiting your piety is just limiting your DPS/Healing/Raising capabilities for minor increases in crit/det. You only lose 2% crit rate for going main stat piety compared to main stat crit.
You don't have to cut yourself off, and it will hurt you in the long run if you ruin every potential friendship you have by cutting it off because you get too attached.
Aim to be friends. The moment you start bringing too many feelings into the mix and start having unrealistic expectations is when everything goes to hell.
And don't be too hard on yourself, because many, many people have made this mistake.
>tanking WoD as SAM
>WAR keeps begging for Shikikoyo
>I tell him that PLD has far worse TP management and give it to the PLD instead
>He gets so butthurt that he starts a voke war and attempts to pull the boss out of my Warding Circle
Why are Warriors such crybabies?
>What will become of the new character Krile who just recently appeared?
>Yoshida: Of course, they will be an important character in the story. Looking back on the 2.X series, we believe that there was too much focus on the main characters, so based on that, we've divided the story of the 3.X series into several storylines and the content and main story will develop in parallel paths. Krile is a key player in one of the storylines and will play an important role.
Seems like 3.x would be heavy on story.
Ah, I see. thanks for the responses.
Piety so that you can cast more DPS spells is great - IF the limiting factor on how much DPS you can push is how much MP you have, and not how many GCDs you have where it's actually safe for you to drop into Cleric Stance and DPS instead of healing.
The problem is, it is frequently not the case that you are limited by MP. If you're solo-healing a fight, especially when you're undergeared, then playing an effective WHM essentially means mapping out the entire fight script, GCD by GCD, and figuring out exactly what's going to happen to who, and when, and devising a routine that lets you cover all of the damage - you can only DPS when there's a window of 5 or more seconds where you don't need to be healing, which often means that your DPS needs to be dealt in a specific X GCDs where you're actually free.
(Obviously you get more freedom and your routine gets less strict as you and the rest of your party get stronger gear, so as you begin to overgear a fight you will naturally tend toward being Piety-limited, but it's not the case during progression where it matters most.)
Generally speaking, the bottleneck to healer DPS in A1S and A3S (other than Digititis) tends to be the number of GCDs where you're free to DPS, which means that Crit/Det/SpS will help you out more, and the bottleneck to healer DPS in A2S and A4S tends to be MP, in which case Piety stomps all over the others.

>Yoshida: Whether they'll come back or not... you might have heard someone's voice in the trailer video (laughs).
I bet it's
Thanks! Though I'm not new to the club, I've been working in another department. Pic related.
I don't recall hearing someone muffled by tonnes of rocks and dirt though.
the team has a really annoying habit where they'll set something up and just leave it unmentioned. like ilberd is still running about and omega weapon is still buried under cartenau and why was urianger talking to that asciian and etc
hopefully some of those will be cleaned up and not in the way the uldah storyline was where "it was a sleeping potion lol"
>have done this out of reflex
Wish I never lost that childlike innocence that allows you to trust people.
The thing about getting locked into GCDs is that not only does mana increase the amount of DPS you can do, but also the amount of healing you can do. You are able to throw out extra med2/cure2/adlos just due to the amount of extra mana you have, which in turn increases your healing. 2 cure 2s is equal to 3 cure 1s, which effectively saves you a gcd every time.

Alright, admit it. How many of you got caught?
In all fairness the sleeping potion angle was telegraphed before the Sultana even went down.
The resolution being a bunch of lala syndicate members coming up and exposition-ing at us was pretty goddamn stupid for sure.
are you expecting anything you don't already know
Did you pay attention to the story?
Y'shtola used a dangerous and forbidden spell called "Flow" which teleported her and Thancred, to a random destination without an Aetheryte to depart on. The fact that it's a teleportation magic used during battle could factor how dangerous it us.
Y'shtola happened to stray and got lost in the lifestream.
If they haven't reciprocated your feelings by now, you're going to be sorely at a loss. If you guys haven't discussed it or it's just harmless flirting, try to cease the grown man feelings. It's okay to like people in a video game, but it makes it awkward for both parties and friends involved if you take it too seriously.
Believe me when I say you do not want this, ever. Sure the attention is nice, but it becomes an emotional tangle of feelings amongst multiple people and it's honestly just not worth the time or effort.
I'm currently balancing 5 different people having feelings for me and even though I've told them nothing will ever happen, they keep having this pipe dream something will.
Yeah, so unless they do the same summon bullshit like they did for her(which would be dumb as shit and we'd never hear the end of it from fujoshits) we can assume he is lost in the void.
it was extra disappointing since it was a problem the scions couldn't solve by having the warrior of light beat it up, so you were at a real disadvantage for pretty much the first time
and then it resolved itself with you doing pretty much nothing and the status quo was maintained and everything is terrible about it
then why didnt u type 'pics of spuki' learn english u fuggin kollosal cuc im so assblasted right meow
That's true; Piety can be used as a makeshift boost to potency by spending extra MP on more powerful spells. But the frequency with which you can do that based on Piety is not necessarily much different from the increase in effectiveness you get from the other stats.
Just to pull some semi-reasonable napkin math numbers out of the air:
100 Piety will give you roughly 650 more max MP, which means that you'll gain an extra 260 MP every minute through natural regeneration, and an extra 65 MP every 90s through Assize. So over a three-minute period, you get 910 extra MP (you also get the initial 650, but that's a one-time bonus so its usefulness depends on the length of the fight).
To turn Piety into potency, let's say that you free up an extra GCD by casting a Cure II instead of a Cure, and then you throw in an extra Stone III. 442 MP going from Cure to Cure II, 530 MP casting Stone = 972 MP. So you're at a slight overall loss by doing it that way.
Now compare that to an extra 100 Determination. That's going to be the equivalent of somewhere in the area of 14-16 Mind, which is in the ballpark of 1.5 points of Weapon Damage. Not only is that a (small but) noticeable boost to your overall healing/damage, but it's conceivable that over the course of three minutes, that increase in power could result in adding up to a GCD where you no longer have to cast Cure (+442 MP) which gives you time to lob a Stone 3 (-530 MP), for fairly similar results to what you gained via Piety.
Don't get me wrong, Piety is a really nice secondary stat to go for. The liquidity of the MP is really nice, and it leaves you with a lot of on-demand versatility relative to the other stats. But it's not necessarily not the ONLY good choice, and the overall effectiveness of the other stats is likely to amount to something pretty similar to what you'd get through Piety. Which you prefer is largely that - a preference.
I'm also trying to keep up with five people who have feelings for me right now. It's a mess, always being pulled in different directions by people who I've told I will not get involved with. They're so wrapped up in their fantasies of us being together that they ignore it every time I tell them I don't want anything more than a friendship.
It's ironic, I'm widely disliked by this community yet I never have less than a few people after me in this manner. I wish they'd dislike me too.
It happens everywhere. Especially when female characters are involved.
The problem with comparing det to piety is that piety has more options than det does, raising being a key factor. Raid content does not go 100% as planned, if it did people wouldnt be stuck on fights. Peity opens up the ability to be more gracious with your mana than det would, especially because that extra det does not normally do much since overhealing is a factor that is included. Anytime you would overheal by a minimal amount pretty much everything that went into det gets wasted. Piety, as long as you can spend it all, which you can, is a greater factor to a fight because it can contribute more when things go wrong. The minimal amount of det you gain, or crit, or spell speed, will never amount to fixing situations that shouldnt have happened in the first place. Like seriously 150 crit is somewhere in the range of 2% crit, its very minimal.
Anyone has played Blade and Soul? What do you think about that game compared to this one? Are you going to switch once BnS gets released?
i was in both alphas
focus on action combat is similar to ffxiv but works a lot worse and is much more grindy
definitely wont be switching, might play it a bit on the side though
ill never make a f2p game my main one though, way too many bots, BRs etc.
this is the FATE scaling function. they get harder if you clear them, regardless of the amount of people, and easier once they fail. that's all. nothing smart about it besides how much they scale, which they've already toned down once.
i saw lots of stunlock bullshit, it's an e-sport in korea with 40k for top prize. be prepared for pvp queens that sound exactly like ippiki but they play shota foxboys and lots of huehues and ruskies
There weren't femroes either.
Only catgirls got their butts reduced, people said it's because of catboys being added and they wanted gear modeled easily between them, I don't know.
They should've just given catboys bigger butts, too.
dungeons, have fun in the aery. you should be doing your roulette/challenge log and clan marks if you haven't for supplementary exp. you'll run into the same issue all the way to 60 if you don't.
That's not me, though. And I have no idea who that person is.
Why is it every time I enter the vault as a tank the healer can't heal? Is it because I'm only defense 1100 defense?
I die to random trash mobs and bosses even though I'm popping CD's far more often than when HW launched and I was rolling DRK. Is this why people are whining about it needing a nerf? Because all the decent people stopped queuing?
Males get ugly pants always. Females have a variety of skirts and lewd pants. It sucks, deal with it or change into a female character.
The fact that the Vault might be getting nerfed is absolutely disgusting . . it's not challenging or a barrier at all. You might get a wipe sometimes but that's part of the game. Why do people hate wiping so much in this game when it literally carries no penalty ?
I want to see just how fast we can go.
What if BRDs become so fast that SE has to change Straighter Shot to make it cost 0 TP when used?
I too, am against the nerf.
The game has no punishment for dying and there's nothing ingame that really forces people to learn their classes. I'm saying this because out of 7 fucking runs I've done today only 3 of which have been beaten due to the healer just letting everyone die no matter the boss.
Surely all of the healers didn't get nerfed since HW came out?
Sweeping across the land!
>Why do people hate wiping so much
It fucks with their ego. The people that whine about a game being difficult would in any single player game just begin cheating since they can't here they complain loudly.
I've always wondered why this game being an MMO means that it has to let EVERYONE beat and do all the story. In a single player game if you can't beat something you just have to keep trying until you stop sucking. Why can't FFXIV be the same way ?
. . . do people really cheat their way through single player games . . .
>do people really cheat their way through single player games
Why, yes. Usually children do it because they suck at the game, and usually they grow out of it as they get older.
Unfortunately, a lot of modern-day vidya players are really, really fucking bad at vidya. They think it's okay to cheat.
>do people really cheat their way through single player games
Yes they do I've encountered enough people playing dark souls1 and 2 to get a pretty good idea that there are a ton of people that just skate through games with cheats on to feel good about themselves.
At first I figured it was because I'm invading so I was the cause they just didn't want to deal with my bullshit but after awhile it's rather obvious they just suck at the game and without infinite health on they just die all of the time. What really sealed it for me was when I started encountering people using infinite health and still summoning people for boss fights.
I've also encountered it in games like Borderlands 2 during coop just using impossible guns while declaring loudly that all of the loot sucks and that their totally not hacked gear is legit.
>What really sealed it for me was when I started encountering people using infinite health and still summoning people for boss fights.
Oh god, I've invaded a ton in that game and fought a lot of people cheating but never had THAT one happen.
The best was when you would be fighting someone legitimately, and then when they were almost dead they'd just throw on their infinite health cheat right before you killed them. It was like watching somebody's spirit break and them admitting that there was only one way they were going to win.
When I was levelling my healers, I felt no changes to how they played on a fundamental level. The only thing that changed was the enemies being scaled appropriately as you progress, and the only variables that add to it were the individual performances of every other party member being brought together for a cooperative adventure. If the tank pulled small or rotated cooldowns effectively, I had more time to DPS. If DPS was good, I hardly had to throw out healing spells aside from a Regen and a spell to top off the tank when the last enemy in a pull dies.
It's not that healers got hit with a ninja nerf. It's just people not being ready and attentive to what's going on. As long as I paid attention, I could keep everyone alive and find moments to squeeze in DPS, even in dungeons like The Vault or the Great Gubal Library. I think SE is nerfing the content because they want to make it easier for those who are lacking awareness and adaptability, which I consider to be rudimentary skills anyone DFing content with randoms should have.
Speaking of the Souls games, I only used exploits like Stockpile Thomas duping and the Dragon Head Stone glitch to help make builds. Being a console- and questionable moralfag, the only reasons I used those exploits was so I could make PvP builds and throw myself into the duelling scene head-first. That's pretty much it. Hell, in Dark Souls all you need to make a decent PvP build is what kind of character you want to make and know how to get what you need to make it a reality. The Dragon Head Stone glitch, if you delete the patches just so you can pull it off, is only good for getting as many souls as you need to get to SL120 and costs to cover upgrading the gear you want to get.
Are you with a SCH? You're the main healer. Are you with a WHM? Well you better pray they're the main healer.
Keeps the money flowing with the sub fee if the casuals can get their fix of 20 fetch quests with canned animated cutscenes every three months.

I don't get the fascination with a casual-grind weapon when equipment is frequently outdated before you can make any actual progression use with it.
>tank Fractal for 20 minutes
>idle in my room in my FC house
>look in pf
I love this game but I don't know why I still play it... I mean, I could mindlessly mine for an hour listening to music but what's the point? What's the point of grinding out anything in this game?
whats the point of anything in this LIFE, my man . . .
Why not take a break and play a single player game or something for a few days before the patch ?
I guess I can't feel a sense of progression from grinding obsolete shit that's done deliberately to keep the DF queues going, instead of engaging the player with relic-specific content like XIV & XI before it.
Maybe they are doing just that this time around though and is the reason for the delay from 3.0.
>nothing has any value
Say that to my collection of junk that I hold on to for no reason other than the fact that I think it all looks cool.
I cannot! It must all be mine! I do not have a hoarding problem.
I have a 5th retainer which I don't pay for anymore that I just stuck even more equipment on.
One year when ARR is on its deathbed they'll implement a glamor wardrobe and overhaul the glamor/dye system to not require every single piece of gear in the game to budget data to hold the IDs for their vanity model and currently selected colour.
Then maybe they can increase are onhand inventory as a result of space saved.
Most are Silver since I get them from ventures
Those will get turned into seals once I finish leveling PLD and WHM to 60, they are mostly VIT/STR and MND. I like to keep shared gear since I'll have to level it eventually anyway and rather have the gear ready to go as I hit the appropriate level
>So tell us a bit about the gardens of St. Mocianne's Arboretum.
>Yoshida: When we were doing the adjustments the other day it felt like it might have been as difficult as a raid. We toned it down from what felt like a four person raid to something more manageable. There will be new elements with the mechanics of the bosses along the way, so I hope you enjoy it.
>What were the contents like before you made those changes?
>Yoshida: There were too many mechanics incorporated that made it tough. We sorted through it all and left only what was necessary.
>Personally, I think you should release the raid version of St. Mocianne's Arboretum as a "savage" mode.
>Yoshida: It might be fun to play, but that we might have a difficult problem with the rewards. Either way, it was four person content.

I mean, I only did 700 on the Hamarchis or whatever boss but the NIN did 440, so. It was a fucking pain all around.
>By the way, will you be making job adjustments in patch 3.1?
>Yoshida: There will be some, but nothing on a large scale. The biggest adjustment will be to rebuild the underlying mechanism behind ninjutsu to reduce the effect of lag and better connect mudra. We've also adjusted TP for Paladin and Ninja. We hear the player feedback about wanting to raise the DPS of Paladin, but we need to consider the offensive and defensive characteristics together, so it would be difficult to just raise the DPS with their current defensive ability.
>tfw Guild Wars 2 players asked for difficult content
>people getting their asses handed to them in the first zone
I got excited, thinking we were gonna get a four-man raid.
I remember Yoshida saying something about Heavensward zone monsters being more dangerous and would take 2 people to kill, but it wasn't true.
They were a bit difficult indeed, but not dangerous at all.

I recommend Wings.
>A lot of those voices are probably from players in savage Alexander where there is a high reliance on tank DPS.
>Yoshida: We'll be making effort to eliminate that as much as possible. Within the content, there are strong and weak points to each job. For example, in the second area of savage, a paladin main tank should have higher stability than a dark knight. Depending on the player and their skill level, each party will see different results, but we'd like to reduce the difference. We can't just make adjustments to jobs based on whether they are strong or weak in particular content as that would break the jobs, so we'll work to eliminate disadvantages to certain jobs as much as possible in the content. That doesn't mean we won't be making any adjustments to jobs in the future, but we'd like to also hear feedback after playing through the different content in patch 3.1.
Those PLD DPS buffs won't be coming so soon.
>When will patch 3.15 be released?
>Yoshida: It will be in December (laughs). You'll be able to enjoy it before the end of the year.
Also, there will be a new comedy side story that will replace Hildbrand, if people liked those.
Remember to remove yourself from the LS, and tell your friends to do so as well.

What str/vit accessory mix do other warriors use? I only have the str ring from a1s atm but I can get another piece next week and I can get an eso piece + upgrade next week too. I need at least 1 piece with skill speed on it and I cant decide. Also 4str/1vit or 3str/2vit?
Man, I cannot wrap my head around BRD gameplay. I was doing ~450ish DPS in the Vault at level 58, I have no idea if that's any good at all, but it FEELS like I should be doing a lot more. On trashpulls I'm basically DoTting up two-three mobs, keeping the DoTs ticking with Iron Jaws and spamming the procs I get inbetween alternating Heavy Shot and Wide Volley/Quick Nock(and using the Heavier Shot procs when they appear). On bosses it's... much the same, except no AoE aside from Flaming Arrow. Am I doing anything obviously wrong? Should I be DoTting up everything? Should I spam AoEs more on trash?

No Assize is a bigger deal than you would think
Cards could still use some work
CU is really clunky
>Uses a crystal ball as a weapon
It's good, It wasn't great.
I find it more fun than the rest of the healers, but that's the only healer i got to 60 and everything else at 50, so.
I leveled it because the aesthetics were pretty.
It's not just 4chan that I'm reading it from. My FC tends to dislike them as well. I just don't want to put a bunch of time and effort into something that is going to be useless in something like A#S
Yeah I guess. They just seem far more interesting to play than WHM / SCH for me. I main a BRD and want something different for a while.
That's one of the more appealing parts of it for me. The Eso gear for AST is so nice.
I wouldn't call AST useless, but would be a bit more careful playing it, since it only has Lumiferous Aether as an MP refresher and the Ewer card, which is completely random.
When WHM has Shroud of Saints and Assize and SCH has Aetherflow and Energy Drain.
