1. Make sure you don't have an Oath rune equipped, your network is set to Worldwide, & your chalice is set to Open
2. Set a password with at least one number & one letter (the more the better)
3. Provide glyph if necessary
4. Due to 1.05, there is no longer a way to Dungeon skip via SRRC
5. More info regarding MP for CD's @ http://pastebin.com/R2ZSmner

I think it follows logically from the lore, since it's in the same configuration as the saw cleaver/spear. Supposedly the burial blade is the foundation of all trick weapons, and you can see several similarly-shaped blades hanging both in the church workshop and in the hunter's dream. But that doesn't really explain why there are saws. I think the burial cleaver is the missing link weapon between Gehrman's scythe and the saws which became emblematic of the old workshop. Someone developed a scaled-down version of Gehrman's weapon that would never impede your ability to use a gun, and then later came the realization that serrated weapons are more effective against beasts, leading to the cleaver with serration along the back, and then the spear with serration on both sides.
To me the clearest indicator is thoughtful use of R2/L2 and trick attacks.
Fire gives pheonix pyre, air gives mistform and cloud trapeze for mobility, nature gives personal regeneration. But really, an actual SC needs something that can kill an army, which limits you to stuff like soul vortex, firestorm, soul drain, and so on. Of course, a lot of these are hard to cast and knock the caster out, so getting a SC that works and won't die to any number of mages is pretty damn hard.
If you're 25/40 you're already invested far enough into BLT that it's not really worth doing anything else. Get it to 50 and unzip that katana. You can still use Reiter but don't expect to get much damage out of it, for your second slot you're really just hoping that the DLC introduces a new bloodtinge-based trick weapon.
I'm having a laugh on my 25/50 with reiter and bma
You know, you can have played extensively with every weapon without having the trophy.
They have to all be on one character.
I have over like 400ish hours on Bloodborne and I am missing both the weapon trophies, although I have used all of them on different playthroughs.
I don't just pile all weapons on one character to get trophies. I also do not want to do the Watch Over The Dream ending.
However, not having Chalice Dungeons does make that guy a bit of a bitch.
I'm slav and have at least 600 hours in BB so far.
Most of the burgerlanders ain't that laggy.
SATURDAY, NOV. 7TH @ 6pm EST
KY BEST LUBE BRAND

Literally fucking kill yourself.
>If you are hosting you have to blood bullet so its fair for some bitch that will more than likely spam parry
/bbg/ PRE-DLC TOURNAMENT
Starting Friday, November 20th at 7pm EST and continuing as needed the following days.
To be determined, but probably a Non-FRC Isz one of us can make since the last took place in Loran. If you would like, create an Isz CD and submit the glyph, to be listed, to firstname.lastname@example.org or ragincajunnugz on the PSN. Keep in mind: little or no enemies, a messenger bath, and open-closed glyph.
Same as Fight Club, but a few changes:
- Host will be neutral and streaming, so no one needs to Blood Bullet
- All gems acceptable
- Best 2/3 (semi-finals will be best of 5, Finals will be best of 7)
- BL 120 cap (those who feel the need on a lower than 120, when facing a 120 as your opponent, may savescum, level up, and then fight)
- There will be no complaints of lag. If you believe lag is the cause of your loss, take it like a man.
- After a character has been selected to participate, there will be no changing once the Tournament has started.
- Rules subject to change, stay updated.
Message ragincajunnugz on the PSN or email email@example.com with your Character name and Blood Level.
Winner will receive either a $20 PSN or the Bloodborne DLC, The Old Hunters.
Delivery of prize pending region locking.
Last date for sign-up is Thursday, November 19th.

'ello 'ello 'ello, what's all this, then?
you can blank out if someone doesnt follow your rules
Try putting on those hp runes, they give you a 400+ hp increase
Wtf happened to /bbg/?
Because the host is a little pussy bitch.
>It makes fights unfair
>A feature that both participants can use in the exact same way
I bet you think people making more money than you is also unfair huh?
Literally end your disgusting life, faggot.
>you can blank out if someone doesnt follow your rules
Are you retarded?
People saying its stupid that healing isn't allowed, and you reply with "you can blank out" you're either not understanding what's being said or are being a real fucking retard.
>Try putting on those hp runes, they give you a 400+ hp increase
>It makes fights unfair
Come on nigger, defend this shit, explain to me how using a blood vial that both player have access to is more unfair than one being decked out with runes that the other might not even have.
Little bitches that wanna clutter pvp with random pointless rules because they can't hold their own in a regular fight happened to /bbg/
>Host heals for more
>heals for more
>Host fighting in a fight club
Was DSII your first from software game? Or were you just dropped on your head as a baby?
If you've never been to a Fight Club, please leave.
I'd rather watch another Loranon spat go off.
If you want healing fights and no rules, MENSIS IS RIGHT OVER THERE.
Is there a way to dupe so you could get many blood echoes right from the start?
I already have played through the game many times, I just want to become a REALLY high level right from the start
No, but you could ask to he summoned by someone in NG+ and level up off the echoes they get by clearing central yharnam. The alternative is to just delete update data to get back to a patch that had duping enabled.
trying to look in that damn thread for the past ten minutes and couldn't find it, was it removed or am i just being autistic?
there is not one attack on the blade of mercy that is slow
>Tfw 50 ARC A Call Beyond
>Tfw all beams hit
I've played since release day and I did the chalice on my first run. I was just stating that the all weapons trophy doesn't just come to you until after you do the Loran chalice at least.
Is this okay for stopping at 98 for using BoM in pvp? Is that enough endurance?
You could probably do 25/25 skl/blt with 30 vit and low end around that level. Your guns won't be as powerful as they could be, though, and neither will your spear. But varied options are underrated when it comes to PvP imo.
Looks like Future Press will release a 208 page Old Hunters guide in December. This is most likely the mystery project that ENB mentioned that he's been working on lately.
I have the guide and its super useful.
I mainly use the maps and have it as reading material when on the shitter.
It's in the OP if you wanna look at it.
Pretty cheap if you want to buy it.
All of them are viable, but some are slightly more so than others, but mostly only in PvP.
You probably shouldn't pick the saw spear / cleaver if you want a challenge.
They have a huge bonus against most enemies.
It punches and r1 mashes well enough.
Are you saying those people who perfectly time the drives to helplessly smack down bosses don't exist? It has a really high skill barrier, but it works just fine. Unless you're talking about PvP, which I don't bother taking into account when a brand new player is concerned.
You can get it if you're interested in collectibles, or for the artwork that's in it which is really good. I don't think anybody is that bad that they would actually need guide strategies for bosses or enemies, and the numbers mentioned in the guide are always subject to change in patches.
So i just pre-order the dlc yesterday and i was wondering will i get extra goodies and bonus when the expasion gets release?
I told you he outlined the build pretty accurately. It's 30str 25skl 25blt 30vit. There's str in there for the canon etc but that has no bearing on the rifle damage. A repeater in his hands is pretty strong too.
The guide is spackled with outdated information and outright misinformation in a few areas, and in some cases simply doesn't have information at all. It doesn't mention visceral attacks scaling with skill, doesn't explain how they're physical damage or what that means for gems, its gem guide is absolutely useless and flat out wrong in all but a select few areas, its weapon guides are surprisingly good but have false info in a couple places like when they tried to say the Reiter's bullet damage changes to elemental when you put an elemental gem in it, the description for the Hunter of Hunter rune mechanics is literally wrong in every way, and a few other things that don't immediately spring to mind.
That said, the maps are indeed super useful and include things like insight and time restricted events, the weapons guide is very good barring a couple of exceptions like Reiter, and the walkthrough part is as good as any.
>Full of inaccuracy
Not really surprising I suppose. Unless the guide's info is patently supplied by From it stands to reason that its often wrong for a game that's purposely obtuse.
Damn Grimshaw's style is delicious.
>Was Djura right?
I kinda doubt it, unless you're positing that your average person and child is only not tearing apart everyone around them because of their lack of claws.
That said, is it ever addressed what happens to beasts when the Hunt ends? Do they turn back into people or are they permanently transformed?
I'm trying to beat all of the bosses in Bloodborne with only 10 vit (level 26 overall) while only using the flamethrower.
But I'm stuck on the second stage of Gherman. His shotgun one hits me and I have no clue when he is going to use it.
I'm going to have to farm Blood vials soon because that was a great mechanic to add to the game.
Does /bbg/ have any ACTUAL tips to predict when he is going to shoot.
I'm not sure how your advice just helped me when I already new them but thanks. I just had a run that got him down to 25% of is heath. Shit was intense.
I lost to him but I was so proud of myself that I saved it as a clip, lol. This guy is tough.
ROSMARINUS OP CAN'T WIN AGAINST IT FROM PLS NERF
>all this hostility
I've got just the thing to cool those hot heads
I think you already know the answer, anon.
I don't understand why anyone uses Rosmarinus. Like, yeah its good, but its the exact opposite of viscerally satisfying. Its just a pale transparent cloud that makes things dead for some reason even though they don't really even react. At least the Flame Sprayer allows you to not suffer the beasts, witches, and heretics to live with glorious cleansing flames.
>STILL having problems with Rom after From nerfed her only really dangerous ability
This shit isn't working for me. I don't get it, sometimes the makeshift altar gets me summoned super quick and other times it takes fucking HOURS for me to get summoned or to get help.
Those dumbass wheels get +30% more damage against cainhurst type enemies, not to mention most cainhursts are also weak to arcane damage. An executioner would only need to hit a vileblood once or twice to cause serious harm and possibly death, not to mention the Executioners could very well have had access to church magics what with the arcane stats.
It's more like a bunch of armored knights with blood katanas and gun rapiers losing to a squad of fanatical muscle wizards with divine interference.
On the one hand, props for using beast pellets with the wheel. On the other, points deducted for doing it wrong.
The wheel basically flips its stats around in trick mode: physical is reduced by about 1/4th, and arcane is boosted by about x4. Beasthood boosts physical damage, but not arcane damage. So, normally you'd use the wheel's arcane mode to build up the meter really fast, then switch it back to physical mode for grinding and pounding.
Correcting myself real quick: physical damage is reduced TO 1/4th, not by 1/4th.
And no, that isn't how it works. On a weapon with split damage, flat damage gems are not subject to scaling. They simply add their damage on top at the end of the equation. Therefore, the flat arcane damage would not be multiplied by x4. However, the flat arc damage is added on in full with every hit, which includes the tricked wheel's numerous multi-hit attacks like its quickstep R1, allowing flat arc gems out outdamage normal %up gems if you're using those moves.
Agree absolutely. Exploring the labyrinth as a bunch of early Tomb Prospectors in search of secrets and treasure, before the discovery of blood? I'm imagining a Roguelike, but in full 3d with souls mechanics and standard dungeon crawl mechanics.
>equip the unidentified gem into your +3 sword?
>whoops, that gem was cursed. your health begins to drain away
>the room is dark
>you light a torch
>the three brainsuckers are displeased by this
>do you really want to inject yourself with the unidentified liquid?
>your left arm mutates and grows into a claw. gun unequipped
Not sure what you mean by instability, do you mean the counterhit thing? No, it probably wouldn't be quite so difficult. There'd be less broken controllers over the undead giants at least.
Time for the best part of the chalice run, farming Ritual Blood 5 from Loran.
Fair enough. But the game doesn't have a leo ring, therefor the difference doesn't exist.
You could always try farming a root defiled chalice instead. If you don't make them cursed, you won't suffer the HP penalty.
If you followed the chalice guide and already have a CRF Isz you can farm blood 5 from 3nawt3ys. The pre-area bonus room has 4 blood (5)'s littered in chests in and very close to the bonus room. Takes less time to run to it and you get double the blood.
Not him, but I once got over 50 ritual blood (5)s from a sinister isz dungeon. Didn't save the glyph though, because that wasn't exactly an unusual payout for sinister dungeons.
for future reference, there are RB5s littered around some of the layers you have to get through anyway after making FRC isz, so it'll save you a few runs in ailing loran since you're nearby
I know there's at least 1 in defiled layer 2
1 in ihyll layer 1's pre-lantern bonus area and 2 in its pre-boss bonus area
2 in ihyll layer 2's main dungeon in the spiral staircase room and 5 in the pre-boss bonus area
if you're a physical build, you can pick up 1 RB5 per run through 5pwujscd, so you can at least look forward to that after making it
If you use the workshop tool to brand runes into your mind, then does that technically mean equipping the eye rune puts eyes on your brain?
Fun fact: it's possible to cast Executioner's Glove 64 times with enough Formless Oedon runes and blood vials.
I wasn't done, motherfucker. You need more eyes.
Just kidding, I really was done.
Formless Oedon lets you carry more bullets, Oedon Writhe gives you bullets for viscerals (if you don't mind doing shit damage), Blood Rapture lets you use viscerals to recover HP spent on blood bullets, Eye lets you find more bullets and vials off corpses, Radiant gems let you regenerate HP between fights for more blood bullets, and remember to always have at least 5 blood bullets before casting anything. This is how you space wizard with slugs.
Or 16 casts of ACB
I want to get +5 Pulsing gem for my gun and three offshapes for my weapon so I don't even need to heal after blood bullets, just run away
Probably low, since that takes extra effort. It really is something they need to do though, filtering by depth, rite, and area would make co-op amazing and might even speed up the matching process.
You don't even need to farm off shape radiants, the hunter NPCs can drop naturals every once in a blue moon. There's a chance their drops are tied to the dungeon glyph though, so if they don't seem to be dropping anything useful try making a different dungeon.
Saw hunter drops radials, cainhurst hunter drops triangles, wheel hunter (isz only) and beast hunter (loran only) drop wanings, there's a ludwig's hunter (with arcane tools) and hammer hunter (with molotovs) who pop up every once in a blue moon too, but I forget what they drop or even where they appear. Might just be isz for the ludwig's, and hammer might be ihyll.
Who wants to help me with Rom? Literally the only boos that gives me trouble every run. Byrgenwerth, lvl 46, no run. Password is /v/irgin
Emperorjones, may all the best vaginas find your rod by the days end.
>making an overleveled OP PvE char with 50 in all stats
>using LHB, want to grind 27.2% stam down gems since it's going to be all PvE
>take four hours to grind out two radials with the right stats
>go to 5pwujscd, expecting the same shit
>first drop is 27.2% stam down
Conclusive proof that Isz > Ihyll. Fuck Pthumeru.
That's what I was hoping for.
Here's my stats.
Probably. My plan for this character however is to +10
every weaponand then get enough chunks to +10 every weapon in the DLC. I don't want to do any more farming just for a second version of a weapon
Is there a quick and effective strategy for taking out chalice Rom other than the Flamesprayer method?
This has to be the most tedious and annoying fight in the game. It takes forever to beat him safely.
Oh, is someone trying to go through chalice dungeons now?
Too bad, fucker. Earn the shit you kept trying to talk all this time.
I think it depends on the build. For my 50 BLT build I wiped out the first round of spiders with 2h chikage, and used a beast blood pellet for the half part of them. Then I got my stam back and wailed on rom, he was low so he teleported twice, then I spent the next few minutes running around the arena hiding behind pillars from the spiders/arcane missiles. Popped out every now and again to 360nolockonscope rom with BMA evelyn. Worked for me.
The "Call of Duty" method I guess.
Reminder that Lucifer intentionally posts misinformation to confuse new players and provoke arguments. Leave him where he belongs.
Farm blood echoes to buy vials.
Safe method - lecture building first floor, in the room with all the slime students. lure them to one of the doors and smash away
Harder, but more echoes - Kill the shadows of yharnam and the pigs in mergos loft. Pigs give about 10k a kill, not sure about shadows
easiest method that you're going to want to do anyway - progress through loran or any depth 4 and up dungeon
I don't know what in the fuck they were thinking, but once you get to depth 4, you get flooded with so many souls you could reach BL130 in a fucking hour.
They were probably thinking players would try to progress through dungeons as they were playing through the game, and that they wouldn't try depth 4 and 5 until NG+.
It'd be nice if they just patched out depths 1-4 entirely, removed the story and sinister chalices, added the sinister rite to the list of rites on depth 5 roots, and then came up with a whole bunch of other interesting rites for funsies.
If you want to use LHB, put 25 in whichever of strength or skill you aren't using (skill, in this case) and you'll be good to go. But if you take the time to get used to Kirk, you might come to like it more. Try using the L2 and running R2 attacks.
>telling lucy to not be a retard
It's going to be be one of those nights, isn't it.
Well, if depth is out of the equation, base ritual costs could probably just be removed entirely, and only materials for secondary rites would be needed. And maybe cut down on the costs of those, like Fetid costs only one head, Rotted costs only one backbone, Cursed costs only one bastard, and sinister costs only 10 haze. Make them rarer to compensate of course, but since you wouldn't need, say, six backbones for a dungeon, finding one becomes a hugely pleasant surprise.
I have already beaten it. It's tedious as hell and takes like 15 minutes each time. I got the haze extractor back in April.
That's what I do, but I also take out the little spiders because the room gets too cramped otherwise.
BSB is the easiest boss in the game.
That's what I do. It just takes forever. Whenever I die it's only because I get impatient and try to rush Rom.
A night with conversation. We can only hope.
Nah, it's real. Most of my "Trophies" are on my xbox account.
That's when you reply to them and let them know he's doing the exact opposite of trying to help them. There's never any need to validate his childish behavior with responses of your own.
Wheel is notable for being the only weapon in the game with hyperarmor on its one handed R1 attacks, which still allows it to shoot and parry.
But most people don't know how to play good prediction games, and they'd rather be the ones attacking than the ones trying to respond to an attack. That's why great class weapons have always been looked down on in souls games.
Because I know how to beat him, but it is tedious.
If I rush him to speed up the fight, I die.
So . . . I am asking about alternative, faster, less tedious strategies.
I didn't say Bloodborne, specifically. I am talking about games in general.
Are you hitting on me?
I am, but even supermen have their kryptonite.
the pic in the OP wasn't used to give him attention, it was to dissuade newcomers from taking his advice
god knows what's going on in his posts, but I can only imagine it's yet another back and forth argument wherein both sides repeat their respective ideas in slightly different words each time with no conclusion in sight
Lucy, you're bad at this game. You always have been. All this time, you've done the equivalent of never leaving the crib so you never have to face any real challenges.
Well, welcome to your first real challenge. I'd probably be more inclined to help you if you hadn't spent all this time talking about how amazing you thought you were or ruining the threads with your arrogant shitposting, but here we are and now you can go fuck yourself.
Not really. Amy is a joke, and the tactic for absolutely crushing her is already established.
So only the chalices count as challenge to you?
I solo bosses. Other people just hold me back.
>Not really. Amy is a joke, and the tactic for absolutely crushing her is already established.
You have't ever fought Defiled Amy. You haven't ever fought Hotdog. What you spew out means absolutely nothing.
You've never killed defiled amy, go back to your shithole.
CFR chalices are harder than the main game, and it's not like you've ever done NG+ either. So, shush.
Enjoy your illusory bravado, built up over years of absolutely nothing. Someday, eventually, you'll beat the chalices, and it still won't mean anything. You could crush your PS4 into a fine powder and snort it, and your day-to-day life still wouldn't change because you never actually do anything with it but wait to die.
I'm going to outlive you, by the way. It'll be funny.
>tfw no plebeian blacks screen platinum
If you wanted to be an achievement whore, you purchased the wrong brand.
Anyway, All you have to do is stand in on one particular spot and charge your large LHB attack. Amy can't even hit you.
An untricked reiter is similar in that regard, it's not a weapon that rewards aggressive play because of it's awful tracking and how particular of an angle most of it's slash attacks are at.
>If you wanted to be an achievement whore, you purchased the wrong brand.
You're the one who brought up how easy it was. Where is your platinum?
>I am not an achievement whore.
>Nah, it's real. Most of my "Trophies" are on my xbox account.
Just fucking report him for derailing already, holy shit. Look at what this thread has become.
>I solo bosses. Other people just hold me back.
You're hardcore, Lucy. I'm not sure what everyone's problem could be.
Come on Lucy, this is getting far too meta at this point.
I was. The safest way to kill the spiders usually is to repeatedly bait Rom's explosion attacks as opposed to his downward meteors, and every time he does it kill a couple of spiders.
Do you just waste time dodging the meteors?
Yeah I try to bait the explosions, I usually end up trying to dodge the meteors and cartwheeling into a spider
This, I use ludwigs every playthrough unless i'm doing bloodtinge cancer.
You can stunlock every humanoid in the game if you combo between shots.
Keeper of the old lords is a joke with this thing
I did not know fly men existed in chalices
What the fuck
I've been doing chalices daily non stop since release
because I really, really love doing them and they're funand seen moles plenty of times, but I've never seen these gross fucks there
want todo more chalices
let me get this straight
i need to create a lower loran root myself before i can join other peoples lower loran roots right?
and it wont cost me materials then am i correct?
i also cant buy the short ritual chalice even though i finished the first pthumerian dungeon or do i have to kill yharnam in the last one to buy it?
i just beat defiled watchdog but im not sure if i can handle cursed amygdala with my blades of mercy
Yep. Fly men only appear in Isz chalices, while snakemen and corpses appear mostly in Hintertombs but can pop up anywhere. You can also find bonewagons in any dungeon, and they drop really good kin/beast hunter gems.
Yes on making a lower loran root before you can join other lower loran roots, and other people's dungeons don't cost you ritual materials. If you want to join any CFR dungeons, you'll have to make one CFR dungeon of any type.
You CAN buy the short root ritual chalice from the insight messengers after clearing the first chalice dropped by BSB, or you can get it for free after clearing lower hintertombs.
What exactly is a 'beast'? I mean what will be affected by attack vs beasts up/down gems? I ask because Amelias +12% against beats make it a good choice for triangle slots but does it affect the snakes in the forests? Or any enemy after the forest? Does only stuff with fur count as beast?
Beast includes everything you find in Old Yharnam (beast patients of all types, full werewolves), crows, rats, pigs, yahargul legwolves, silverbeasts, beast-possessed soul, Loran beast mages, abhorrent beast, and all beast bosses. The serrated damage bonus on saw weapons (Cleaver normal mode, Saw both modes) and Threaded Cane (whip mode) is a different damage bonus, and only applies to giant beasts like the full werewolves in lower Old Yharnam, legwolves, silverbeasts, beast-possessed souls, loran mages, abhorrent, and boss beasts.
Unfortunately, the only beasts you'll find after Amelia are the legwolves in post-rom yahargul, silverbeasts in nightmare areas, and the beasts in Loran dungeons. Even worse, you can farm better anti-beast gems in post-rom Yahargul from the bone wagons.
>Unfortunately, the only beasts you'll find after Amelia.....
I guess it's only fair, since holy dmg also affects only things in Cainhurst, isn't that right? So serrated dmg isn't really that "overpowered" in usage-wise.
>Haven't touched a From game before beyond getting to the Bell Gargoyles in DaS
>Friend who's played all the games says I'll rage quit at Blood Starved Beast
>Kill it on first try
>Die from slow poison 5 seconds later due to running out of antidotes
Fuck it, a victory is a victory
Holy damage affects gargoyles, bloodlickers, and ghosts. A few holy-weak enemies also appear in pthumeru chalices like gargoyles and frenzy ghosts, and bloodlickers can appear in any chalice dungeon if you do lots of visceral attacks on strong enemies and leave the room for a while.
>wanted to make an assassin/enforcer build for a long time
>mfw DLC will add a secret society covenant, more edgelord weapons like burial cleaver, bow for sniping with monocle and delayed bombs
Visceral damage is not affected by your weapon's own damage. But visceral attacks are treated as a physical damage attack done by the weapon, so anything that boosts a weapon's physical damage will also boost a visceral attack. Tempering gems, nourishing gems, Beast/Kin hunter gems (against beasts or kin), fool's/poorman's gems (when full hp/near death, respectively), beasthood (the higher the meter, the more damage), and of course clawmark runes.
Yes. Pick up the Repeating Pistol as soon as possible, then hit Hemwick Charnel Lane for Bone Marrow Ash. Upgrade your guns first and treat them as your main weapon against large foes, and you'll speed through the game with little trouble at all. Remember that blood counts as physical damage, so tempering gems will boost it (tempering droplets, in the case of guns).
Guns to use are repeater and evelyn, stats are 50 bloodtinge, 40-50 vitality, 10-20 skill, and either 14 skill for minimum chikage equip or 25 skill if you want your viscerals to be stronger and your reiterpallasch, rifle spear, or chikage (untricked) to deal more damage.
Also, equip the formless oedon, oedon writhe, and blood rapture runes, then make blood bullets and abuse visceral attacks for virtually infinite bullets.
Send the little girl to iosefka's clinic for an extra formless oedon rune, send adella to the clinic for the oedon writhe +1 rune, and kill imposter iosefka before killing rom for the oedon writhe +2 rune. Keep arianna in the cathedral ward so you can still get a third umbilical cord.
I run 50 BLT 25 SKL. I started noble scion and got SKL up to 25 before I touched BLT, but on this character I didn't touch VIT until I had completely upgraded the damage stats so it's up to you whether you're comfortable doing that.
Logarius is not fun with base vit if you plan on getting the chikage early.
If you do, stock up on all consumables inc bone marrow ash, then backup your saves in front of the fog gate. Farming vials/bullets is just a waste of time.
What level do you guys do defiled chalice and D5 dungeons at? I'm barely getting any co op action at 114, and when I do it takes forever. Feel like I might be too high or low for the sweet spot.
I don't need to have done them to see what people are writing about them, see what level people are requesting help at, or to watch videos of people doing them.
>>fuck this boss is hard, anyone want to coop him with me? PSN xxxxx I'm sl 247
You haven't seen players in dungeons at level 300+, you've seen players talking about being in dungeons at level 300+. There's a distinct difference, and if you can't see it then you need to stop posting already.
Re rolled to try bloodtinge build aND decided to put more points into skill for no reason. I have a couple save files backed up, one of which is 90 so I guess I'll go back to that. The for the info.
And holy fuck this new catch is garbage.
It isn't paranoia Mr. "someone's been following me from thread to thread and stirring up anti-lucy sentiments", it's a matter of not being deceitful. If you don't say where you found a piece of information, you're implying it's something you yourself have experience in.
You know, if you had ever once bothered to get the experience you always pretend to have, people might not have ever come to the conclusion that you're a worthless sack of shit. You might be living the dream you always pretend to have.
Yeah I can relate to that.
>getting oneshot by a single slap
I feel like ExGloves was faster to Amy and Bri though.
Kirk+pellets I've killed defiled Amy in right over a minute.
I'll try ACB again though.
Mine build is >>121529789
Gloves have a more efficient bullet to damage ratio, but ACB at max arcane will do more damage faster. Make blood bullets, ACB, blood bullets, ACB blood bullets, ACB, vial, vial, blood bullets, ACB, blood bullets, ACB, deadAmy.
>3 ritual blood (5) in upper ward
>pearl slugs in burgertown, lecture hall, and upper ward
>red jelly in lecture hall
>flowerpede in burgertown doesn't drop arcane haze
Fuck. It would've been cool if you could make the Isz chalice without needing to do any of the other dungeons.
Did you really just question my logic with an ad hominem fallacy? Oh the irony.
You should have put that in the rules, brain gems only. You probably could have gotten more participants. People get tired of running the same character every time, but farming Chalice gems over and over again is far too tedious.
>farming Chalice gems over and over again is far too tedious.
You must know from experience.
Good thing I read this post so I could be misinformed and never have an experience for myself!
>muh failing to comprehend the point
>You should have put that in the rules
No, because I'm not the one who made the rules, it isn't enforceable, it fucks over arcane builds, and gem restrictions are only a problem if you're a shitter who calls himself lucifer and never got the good chalices. Get back in Rom's rape pit and stop posting here.
True on every point, plus we all voted for what FC is now.
>Basically because you have to constantly hug his ass
That's a good idea anon, but let's take it a step further. What if we removed all of the weapons and you had to defeat your enemies by hugging them?
That way no one has to die, not even the
Oedon Chapel Dweller.
Why does the chapel dweller ever have to die? He just wants to save as many as he can and make friends. He has never done anything wrong
For that sweet Formless Oedon +3 rune, of course.
Yooo... minor new info incoming.
>Welcome to a terrifying world of Hunters past, rife with new and deadly dangers, horrific beasts and great rewards for those brave – and skilled – enough to earn them.
>Uncover the forgotten tales of these brutal Hunters, trusted with guarding the terrible secrets of Byrgenwerth – and keeping the dreadful truth of Blood Healing hidden.
>Venture into three new and perilous hunting grounds; The Hunter's Nightmare, Research Hall and the Fishing Hamlet. Add new outfits and deadly weapons to your inventory and master unholy magic to face the horrors that lurk in these hunting grounds… and try to harness your transformation into the Beast.
I purged him for being an ugly abomination,
not before throwing that stupid pebble in his face.
Considering the actual page for the game already mentions the clocktower by name, either there are more than 3 new areas or someone made a mistake somewhere. I'm hoping for the former, obviously.
Cool, we'll go fishing. Too bad there isn't a fishing rod trick weapon.
Hunters will have 10 new, transformable weapons to wield.
So what are the 10 transformable weapons that we know of (I assume this number doesn't count left hand stuff like the new shield, Galasha's Fist or Yamamura's rifle)
1. Simon's Bowblade
2. Beast Cleaver
3. Saw Mill
4. Holy Moonlight Sword
5. Burial Cleaver
6. Fire Hammer
8. Weapon wielded by the guy sitting in a chair, from the Old Hunters cover
From representatives at the TGS said there'd be 10 new weapons, and that the count included both left and right hand weapons. Miyazaki himself said the number was closer to 10-15. If there are 10 right hand weapons and 3-5 left hand weapons, that would be closer to what we've seen so far.
You have all the known right hand weapons so far, barring retard-level speculation like "new beast claw" or "samurai sword".
I think he's fun, personally. Makes farming for bolt gems really spicy.
>Engine-block brass knuckles
Heads up, there are people in the FC already. Fought a couple of edgelords too.
NOW WE CAN HUNT AND KILL TO OUR HEART'S CONTENT
Technically, it's a melee-range parrying tool that doesn't cost bullets. It doesn't even have a moveset, just the one attack because L2.
Super old information, my friend. There's a thread on the good wiki here: http://forums.demonssouls.info/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=20822
>not fighting enemies with your bear hands
