First for Arturia is old and busted. Nero is the new hotness.
Good job goyim, you got the best servant! Now keep rolling 40's so you can max his Noble Phantasm!
Imagine Gudako/Gudao singing this on a ship while Mashu stares at them in Okeanos.
I wish I was a drawfag
Don't forget to bring the family back together and listen to Medusa deal with it.
Black Grail If you can build their NP bar fast enough before they die. I still think the usual CEs are better though, Black Grail is too much of a gamble when you can just let the enemy hit them and save the NP for when you need it.
Noble Phantasms are not external.
Riders rely on their mounts, which are not usually noble phantasms. (Their noble phantasms are instead an ability they use through their mount.) (I say usually, because one exception has arisen; Saint Martha's 'mount' is indeed her Noble Phantasm, the dragon Tarasque.)
>tfw finish Okeanos
>roll 200 free quartz
>max out Euryale and David's NP
Back to daily log ins I guess.
Is Alter Jeanne really evil?
We know Alter Saber is situational.
Anne and Mary's line have now been added
Hector,David,Euryale and drake will be added when they're added to the wiki
>pulled Evil Cat and Lancelot with tickets before this
>main account already has fully leveled Cat/JETS/Arturia
Do certain servants stalk you anons wherever you go?
He wasn't entirely correct, it was the Second War itself that added the other four Servants.
And things like Avenger and Ruler were added as backdoors for the three families to exploit if they needed to. Or, in Ruler's case, for the Grail itself to exploit if everything goes wrong.
She's evil. There's nothing wrong with seeking revenge against a bunch of asswipes that killed you in one of the most excruciatingly painful ways, but there's much evil in wanting to destroy a nation and kill everyone in it.
Mary and Anne a cutes
Alter Saber = Warrior who only wishes for power.
Alter Jeanne = Revenge against those who did her wrong.
Main difference is that Alter Jeanne is based on Gilles vision of "how Jeanne should had acted".
So whose hyped for Solomon now that Okeanos made it very clear that he's the one pulling all the strings here.
Any anons have a theory as to why he got demons involved or is he just being manipulated by some other force?
>see gold orbs start spinning
>Only the three families were involved, ritual failed due to lack of Servants to power the grail
>Free-for-all bloodbath ensued, ritual failed because no one was alive to claim the grail
>Einsberns decide to cheat the system and summon Avenger/Ruler instead of Berserker, grail gets corrupted/stolen as a result
We can eventually summon him, so I'm guessing he's the penultimate boss or just a really, really screwed up version of him. It would be weird to get him after if he's all evil and crazy normally.
Instructor Iri: I know. It's about the other four teams, right? The other four teams were collaborators from outside the Three Families. To conceive the Grail, seven Magi and seven Heroic Spirits are required. That's why the Three Families invited outside Magi to participate, saying: "We've succeeded in manifesting the Grail. If you'd like to witness this miracle, join us and become Masters." Something like that.
Student No. 0: So it was pretty much a manifesto. Like "the blue sky is dead" from Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Instructor Iri: Yes, very good. The outside Magi participated in the Fuyuki ritual to grant their own desires. Originally, they only sought to learn about the ritual of activating the Grail...
Student No. 0: But when rifts surfaced between the Three Families, the opportunity also came to the outsiders. Just by being the last surviving team, they could claim the Grail regardless of their ancestry. I see. That's how the ritual became a war.
Instructor Iri: Unfortunately, yes. By the second time the ritual devolved into a war, it had become a murder spree without rules. As a result, everyone died. The Three Families took this lesson and established additional precise rules. Specifically, the bringing in of a third party. Zecchan, do you know about the Holy Church?
C'mon anon that's normal for the guy.
What is best team out of these servants?
>What is best team out of these servants?
I only have 3 accounts, but all three got Attila.
I haven't seen a single other 5 star or 4 star, event gifts excluded.
Handed away two of the Attilas to probably-account-sellers awhile back.
Maybe if you're illiterate.
I did one over skype as the GM, it was hell since we had 9 players (7 masters and 2 servants).
I can't see it working irl tabletop due to how hard it is to conceal shit and even if people promise not to ooc, they'll still probably try to powergame.
Asterios confirmed for lewdest servant.
Hmm, Solomon to such things? [R] guy, because bastard basically cruel and bad taste.
Hahahaha. I'm sorry I'm sorry, because I did not have much [r] relationship with Solomon. Because there was no interest in child care.
>Because there was no interest in child care.
I thought David was nicer than this.
Sure thing. Honestly Fate translates fairly well to the DnD system so converting it won't be that difficult. But the way we did it was that you had the DM with a Ruler character. That was their DMPC and they stayed out of the war.
I don't know if it can be done with only 1 or 2 people. We got 7 players together for this (you played both master and servant). We did it online with a stream.
The players would all work on their apps and each would give a finalized copy to the DM/Ruler, because this was part of the info system.
You kept your sheets to yourselves and other players could only piece together information they gained from interactions. Using that information, they had to formulate a guess and send it to the DM/Ruler. If they guessed right, he sent them the Servant's sheet. To try and enforce it and curtail braggarts, DM also had a rule that if you revealed your Servant's identity freely, even OOCly, he could give everyone you revealed it to your sheet.
From there, it was basically a PvP campaign.
Boudicca, Siegfried, support. Nobody in the back, this way when someone dies you can see the remaining guy's cards more so you can bring out more from these powerful servants.
Burn the rest for prisms to buy fous and create the ultimate team.
Even disregarding the Lesser Key of Solomon as apocryphal, the Talmud goes over Solomon's recurring enmity with the demon Asmodeus, including a legend about Solomon summoning Asmodeus to build the famous Temple of Solomon, and Asmodeus overthrowing him and ruling Judea for some time.
Other demons could be bound by Solomon's silver ring, the Seal of Solomon, which is almost certainly going to be his noble phantasm. (Silver rings repeatedly come up in the Ars Goetia probably for this exact reason)
So yeah, his legend is completely intertwined with demons.
He had a lot of interest in his children Biblically, but Nasu always takes some liberties.
David ever since he fucked over his general, had a sort of curse put on him that bad shit would happen to his family and they'd fall into disorder, but they were not cast out at all. His sin wasn't light at all, but he was still loved and taken care of, as he had to learn a hard lesson there in general.
His family had some shit happen; David's son trying to steal his kingdom and dying, his first born dying, lot of turmoil, but there were a lot of times of peace as well
I think it evened out mostly by the time he appointed Solomon.
The shit David went through with his son, when he would not go to war with him repeatedly, and how he reacted to his first born dying really shows how much David cared about his children.
David is generally a pretty good guy, but he's also a rough type as well. Thinks with his emotions at times.
Nevermind that his influence even comes up in other legends that are completely unrelated. Arsalan's sword, the Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar, was noted in Amir Arsalan-e Namdar to have been originally owned by Solomon.
In Islamic/Middle Eastern mythology, Solomon's a bigshot.
Get anywhere between 5-14 players beforehand, any less and there'll be accusations and shiz against the GM along with what will basically result into a players vs gm scenario instead of a free for all.
Character creation point rolls for both servant and master, use any old dnd or other system with servant luck being their total amount of rerolls per fight (e.g. D rank luck is 1 reroll).
NPs are basically the only thing you need to customise and shiz as everything else can be converted to dnd/other tabletop systems.
Split actions into day + night only as otherwise it gets convoluted as fuck with everyone doing so many different things.
Use an instant messaging system so that theres no cheating and shit.
Character sheets are kept by each player and GM only with skills getting revealed when they're used and only stats being revealed at first.
If they guess the hero's name than the whole char sheet gets sent to them.
I think I covered eveything I believe.
Shhh....Mashu and Fou are sleeping
I got it! [R] paper and if you wanted do hit the defeat of!
[CharaFace G 0]
Matthew, this is a genuine last fight! [R] Horahora, and firm it!
This guy would do came to defeat Bukkake the! ? The [r] If Do not tension the Shan and chest!
[CharaFace G 1]
This guy's a large best for you! [R] Do not Yan returned ore is fearless laugh!
What is "Yes not use something to monster! [R] Give me! Pass the lovely crown because good"!
I just finished Okeanos and this area is not clear.
Outside the 2 players who controlled their own servants as their player, all other servants are basically played by their master so long as its in lone with the personalities they sent to the gm beforehand.
E.g. We had someone roll high as fuck for servant creation and choose arturia as a lancer but than the master tried to play kiritsgu level shit so I just forced him to use a command spell and later get killed by their own servant for being a general bastard.
Honestly this is mostly what we did when we had it. It was actually really fun. The best part about it? The first one to freely use their Noble Phantasm got eliminated fast. Everyone else refrained from using their NPs until their backs were against the wall.
>but than the master tried to play kiritsgu level shit so I just forced him to use a command spell and later get killed by their own servant for being a general bastard.
Care to elaborate? What exactly happened?
Post your Okeanus team. The team you're using while the quests are still nice and easy.
>like he's really good
Gameplay wise, he's trash unusable tier.
People like him because of his design and personality.
Heroes don't have to be statistically great for you to like them.
Yeah but Asterios did actually protect Euryale
Would it be worth switching out Alter for Carmilla once I have her leveled?
Timezones aren't an issue, it's going to be play by post until combat happens in which case the GM talks with the revelant players to settle on a time when everyones available
How did the bloodbath happen in your game? It'd be nice to have some headcanon for the second war
He's only 1*, but he would be decent in an actual HGW.
He's also 5* in my heart.
>while the quests are still nice and easy.
Going all the way with this one.
Gave Mashu the Extra Rin CE instead.
Some grill chose siegfried along with a male master (i was 90% sure she was a fujo) due to rolling super high on both servant and master and I let her do it.
She died second due to her servant being well known.
Its basically a trade off, well known servants are stronk (e.g. Arturia or sieg) but their also really well known.
Also, ironically enough the first to die was lancer who used her np super early and people who had info gathering shit like familiars at the location badically just googled or i presumed googled the name of her np before naming her and rekting her due to having the char sheet
Yes, but I think maybe you should go a little further.
Switch Carmilla to the front line and give Lancelot the new Extra Rin CE if you have it. Let Lancelot come in when someone dies, use all the crit stars the Quick-heavy frontline has generated with his skill, and destroy everything.
When Lancelot isn't out, Pirate Sluts and Atalanta both make good crit magnets and Carmilla can help them generate stars better.
That's almost the same setup I use on my own Quick team, just with a support Sluts when I can get them. I'm pretty sure it's yours, actually.
Since I don't speak moonrune, I don't think Blackbeard joined us right?
I recall facing him in Mortal Kombat before Jason, Madea, and their pet Berserker decided to ruin shit. Then we had to send them blasting off again.
>stats start in the triple digits
>growth rate is 1 star trash for 2-89
>level 89 is like 3000/3000
>level 90 adds +10000/+10000
"It" is finally born
>tries to bomb building in which theres tons of innocents inside
>fails all checks to remove the innocents due to wanting to be a special little snowflake ith only mystic eyes so he had no suggestion magic and his other attemps (lel lets make some smoke without a real fire for the building alarm)
>he goes fuck it and tries to do it, I tell him that his servant wouldn't agree with it, he uses command spell and I fail the gm roll for his servant to resist
>later runs out of prana so tries to soul steal innocents and command spells again
I say fuck this shit, theres no way arturia would allow this shit and backstab ohko him after the soul stealing.
Got alot of rage afterwards but I think he deserved it.
He used Gae Bolg once and didn't run into Saber again for the whole VN (one scene in Fate route aside). They never had time to offer him a plate of dog meat.
He was gonna use it on Archer, but that got interrupted.
>How did the bloodbath happen in your game? It'd be nice to have some headcanon for the second war
A lot of stuff going on, but basically two participants not caring about what happened to fulfill their own objectives (one because he was fucking insane and the other because he was a tyrant who thought that the end justifies the means), a faceless mastermind behind the whole situation pushing his own agenda and some Clock Tower politics imported to the conflict. And then shit happened. Some people survived though, but for the records they were dead and the Grail wasn't even completed.
It was a failure so big and with a huge collateral damage that the Church intervention, the creation of rules for the Third and the Clock Tower disinterest with the whole thing after that point was explained like that. The main narrative conflict within the war was resolved and had a proper climax though.
It's implied he fought most of the Servants, since he told Saber that Kotomine ordered him to retreat every time he use Gae Bolg and failed to kill
Since he did try to use it on Archer and Saber, it's likely he tried it on everyone else, but I don't think Medusa or Kojirou have the luck to evade it
Sargon of Akkad (Archer). Freely spammed his NP (a version of GoB with the justification being that after he took Uruk, he raided the treasury) and the player wouldn't shut up about how utterly powerful he was cause he was almost as old as Gilgamesh and even tore down his walls.
He got in a fight with Napoleon (Rider) and while he was busy, Hassan ganked his Master.
He lasted about two sessions, all in all.
So guys, anybody can translate the lore for Hector's NP? Is it on par with Gae Bolg in terms of power or heck in terms of "Casualty Reversal"
I mean, it did almost pierce through Rho Aias
In hindsight, it would be unlikely but amazing if Aias/Ajax is a Shielder. Of course, he could also just be a Lancer or Rider and have Rho Aias as his NP
It's not likely he tried it on everyone else at all. He only used it on people who violated the rules of his command spell (fight them, do not defeat them, do not let them find out his identity, and escape)
Archer said he figured out Cu's identity, Saber refused to let him retreat.
Lancer died first from having issues with her master. Long story short she nped, ran outta prana than killed her master before disspearing due to failing to find a replacement
Saber died second due to literally having a retarded master that ballmuuunged rider but failed a roll
Rider boudica (who had shit stats due to rolling bad on both chargen rolls) got rekt by assassin before getting mindcontrolled by assassin due to rider already being previously weakened
My gm player character gets rekt by archer, assassin, rider and caster i think it was due to failing a roll, he was a ruler
Assassin fails a roll during a fight against caster + archer alliance and loses control of boudica before grtting rekt by 3 on 1
Rider dissappears from no prana
Le fair duel between caster and archer but caster backstabs archers master
Archer beats caster with god like rolls
I left it open whether or not archer got the grail.
Ironically i was meant to be a final boss but got rekt as a midboss
I wasn't the GM. I was Caster (Solomon). Which is also why I'm hyped about Solomon. I'm really interested to see how TM's and mine differ.
That said, Sargon was a real wake up call because it really hit home that Assassin was actually allowed to assassinate. So we had to choose between keeping our Masters close in the line of fire, or keeping them away but potentially getting them killed.
Really fun and it had you second guessing everything you did.
Edgy, good call though there's no way arthuria "muh honor" pendragon would have accepted that shit
>BTFO by Hassan of all servants
Holy shit my sides, that must have felt awful for him
Yes, if you have them please share them
>good call though there's no way arthuria "muh honor" pendragon would have accepted that shit
She had no trouble with Kiritsugu himself. She never thought of killing him despite all he did. It was a terrible call.
Heracles with God Hand
Artoria with Avalon
EMIYA actually trying to win
(My own sensibilities want to suggest Buddha, but nobody seems to care about Buddha in powerlevel shenanigans, even though he can just delete servants)
You know, if they survived I would never kill them just like that because that would make me a horrible GM. At least they were officially dead at the end.
Actually, I tried to make it happen all the things we know about the Second War in some way or another. For example, the Tohsaka house being destroyed during the late Edo period (mentioned in ataraxia)? Check. The Einzbern Master being the first to be defeated (well, that happened like that by chance)? Check.
She outright tells Shirou in the vn she wouldn't accept a scenario where she has to drain mana from 3rd party civilians and didn't have qualms killing him for pettier things if you made wrong decisions earlier in the route
Does anyone know where to get in touch with DW to recover an account if you can't get Bind codes?
The digitzer on my phone is fucked, and it turns out Fate/GO is the one app in the universe that doesn't support mouse input on a phone. I can get into My Room but my phone will not let my scroll to the bind menu. I don't know why but my old bind code doesn't want to work on my emulator.
Anyone have a link to the form?
No one softer than her.
>No, no. Posterity of history and of leaving the name, your long-cherished wish, it Is not that was doing it come true!
So why haven't demons like the Goetia been summoned in any HGW up until now? I imagine having former angels would put you at a total advantage with all their knowledge and foresight . Though, you'd be fucked right from the get go if a saint is also summoned.
Only if you mean the Einzbern's Great Grail War.
Savior is legit in the Serial Phantasm, and who knows what's up with servant summoning system "FATE", Dr. Roman sure as fuck doesn't
>Yes, if you have them please share them
Alright then, I guess I'll start with a few asterisks:
The campaign didn't start out as a Grail War. It was pitched as KnK-esque supernatural detective shit, and followed that archetype for about three or four cases before it became apparent that the BBEG was setting up a Grail War.
It was a one-on-one campaign with me and the GM. The campaign didn't start out this way, but by the time the Grail War kicked off the rest of the players had already dropped out for one reason or another and the DM and I agreed to keep going.
And the campaign never finished. The last session we had ended with about thirty minutes of the DM and I debating how a particular NP-vs-NP interaction would play out. Hell, only one Servant actually died, and I only figured out the identity of about three enemy Servants (and one allied Servant), and one of them was a Hassan.
>To be fair kerry has plot armor, if kerry didn't have to survive the 4Th who knows what would have happened
Actually it's more that when Artoria actually called him out she realized there was something that ran much deeper than just being a dickbag.
>"Kiritsugu, do you understand? If you do evil out of a hatred of evil, that rage and hate will merely birth new conflicts. Emiya Kiritsugu. I don't know what betrayed you and caused you to fall into such despair in the past. But your rage and sorrow are found only in those who once sought justice. Kiritsugu. In youth, deep down, you must have wanted to become a hero. You believed in a hero to save the world. You desired it more than anyone. Am I wrong?"
She knew there was more to this story than "gawd my mastah is such an ASS"
Why try when it's obvious who is going to win.
Only Solomon can control them
They aren't low rank demons, even a normal Goetia demon is something that a heroic spirit usually might never beat according to Flauros in chapter 3.
He was weakened, he found it baffling that he could lose to mere heroes in his state.
Why do you think you're playing the only Fate game where you control multiple heroes at once? Because when enough heroes work together, they can beat things far bigger than they should.
A coalition of Masters assaulted his forest and he was betrayed by his ally during the whole ordeal, but still he gave a good fight and died in a blaze of glory. It was one of those sessions that took a whole afternoon and a good bunch of the night to complete.
What NP's? Surely /fgog/ can solve this.
That's pretty much the only problem, there probably isn't someone out there wanting to deal with 7 autists trying to out meme each other
True. Though, a ruthless GM that didn't care about any of that shit would be so fun to work with.
>all those autist tears as GM's plan to kill their servants succeeds
Nah, the best GM for a Fate thing would be a Ruler who'd intervene if IC Grail War rules started getting broken.
Which you know there'd be at least one retard doing that. You know there'd be one retard doing it and either trying to kill Ruler or convinced his Servant is so OP he could kill Ruler.
Solomon and Merlin seem to be the apex of wizards
They might be having a sort of grand chess match throughout the ages, to see who comes out on top.
That's the real plot here behind the scenes.
Merlin has accepted Chaldea as his pieces.
Marquis Andras only commands 30 legions, he's pretty average for the Goetia.
... what makes him terrifying is that he's the demon who's trying his absolute hardest to kill the summoner at all costs, and everything they care about, so if you make even one mistake, it's over.
Yeah, but what about a corrupted Ruler that wanted to get the Grail for themselves, and they would manipulate the war by creating "accidents" servants end up getting into?
Could that work?
He was still able to deal with Chiron's arrows that were fired using a combination of Clairvoyance and Eye of the Mind (True) to fire the exactly were Achilles was going to be.
Before the Grail War itself started, the last supernatural-detective case was to investigate leyline disturbances at a muggle private academy run by a Clock Tower magus. Turns out he was in league with the BBEG and had set up a rudimentary Grail and summoned a single Servant: Lilith in the Caster class. In true Nasuverse revisionist history fashion, Lilith wasn't really that bad of a person (her origin was "Defiance" and she was cast out of the Eden basically for not being able to resist it; she then made a pact with Lucifer for protection/out of spite and eventually committed suicide out of just being tired of having to kill people who tried to kill her), so she rebelled against her Master as best she could under the Command Seals. After he was dead, before she vanished, my character managed to hack the Grail with the BBEG's unwitting help to incarnate Caster (or, as I'd come to call her, Lily) and create a contract with her, despite his natural anti-magic Psychic powers.
Then a couple weeks later the real Grail War kicked off with seven new Servants.
I didn't actually see too many Noble Phantasms in action for Servants I hadn't already figured out. I encountered a European knight Saber with a prominent shield (probably Galahad before GO came out) and a Japanese Archer in full samurai armor, never ran into Berserker, teamed up with Lancer and learned his identity immediately, and discovered Assassin's and Rider's identity in battle.
Enemy Caster, I'm going to get to.
>Yeah, but what about a corrupted Ruler
Its said that ruler class servants cannot have other aspects of themselves, which is why Joan Alter is an impossibility.
If you're a true saint, there is no real corruption.
Not that guy, but I'll be the devil's advocate and suggest that Achilles might have fared better with Chiron due to having known the guy.
It's like how Lancelot being able to catch Excalibur wasn't due to him being UNRIVALED or any of that shit, but because he already knew about Invisible Air's bullshit from the getgo.
>pulled Seiba with a ticket before this
Finally fate smiles upon me
>It's like how Lancelot being able to catch Excalibur wasn't due to him being UNRIVALED or any of that shit
It was part of both actually.
>That consummate skill was unbelievable on two counts: the first was that he had used an impossible stance to respond to Saber’s follow-up killing blow, and the second was that he had done so even though it was impossible to perceive the path of Invisible Air.
While the second part was indeed just him knowing Arturia, the stance used was still only because UNRIVALED.
You know, I always forget about their legions.
Regardless, Andras is an absolutely nasty demon to deal with because of his murderous tendencies like you said.
Which is why I stuck with Phenex and less ferocious demons, i'm not getting anywhere near that
As I said, I teamed up with Lancer and his Master, because his Master was an untrained girl with Magic Circuits I had previously met and befriended on an earlier case. As a result of knowing fuck all about magic but trusting my character, the first thing she did when she woke up with the Command Seals on her arm was call up my own character for help, and she proceeded to accidentally summon her Servant while she was still on the phone.
She was a devout little Christian girl, and as a result she summoned a saint. But she summoned Saint Longinus, and he was kind of a dick and very much not a fan of teaming up with the Mother of Demons. Command Seals were popped and uneasy alliances were formed, but alliances they were.
According to UBW II Booklet, Acht is just a artificial lifeform that represents the Einzbern castle and there isn't even actual Einzberns around anymore but only their creations running the show without even knowing why they are doing it.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Fate/Zero mentions that Acht was around since the second war.
Kind of sad. I hoped that at least they give her Alter a skill that would complete with Arturia. Instead, she got inferior skills and no riding. It's like she's an inferior Arturia. Is it Nasu's way of telling us that Arturia's superior in every way compared to Alter? Alter's cuter at least
I'm guessing respond meant catching, because of what was said for the second reason.
>and the second was that he had done so
Anyways, my point it that while it was not entirely because UNRIVALED, it was not entirely because he knew Saber either. It was like 50/50.
Not in my character's character. He was a good person, but very manipulative. And Longinus had a Noble Phantasm that gave him absurdly high Magic Resistance vs curses and black magic, which were Lilith's forte. He was practically her hard counter unless she pulled out her NP, which is honestly absurdly powerful. More on that in a bit.
Assassin's Master was a former lackey of the BBEG cut loose due to his actions earlier in the campaign. He had been enamored by the (female) BBEG, who had found him and awakened his Origin in a manner similar to Araya in KnK. In fact, you could almost call Assassin's Master a combination of Lio from KnK and Near-side Roa: he was an otherwise-normal serial killer with knockoff MEoDP, who had developed a bit of a bit of an obsession with my character after discovering that due to his aforementioned anti-magic psychic powers, the killer's Mystic Eyes didn't work on him.
Last time I saw him, I beat him to a pulp and left him for dead, nearly getting cut to ribbons in the process. I prioritized my own wounds over making sure the fucker was dead.
Turns out he wasn't. Oops.
Assassin was a Hassan whose Zabaniya let him transform into other Heroic Spirits and gain their abilities. He was limited to other Assassins and the abilities weren't as good as the originals, but it included Noble Phantasms. But since it's a transformation, only one set could be used at a time.
I'm going to take a break before talking about the Assassin fight.
You guys are forgetting the most good natured demon.
>Seere discovers thefts, transports goods, and can control time. He can cause a spell or act of magick to occur immediately. He can bring many things to happen all at once. He is good natured and helpful to the summoner.
That would explain why they're factual retards. Corrupting the Grail and still not knowing they did it, or thinking they can send Ilya to win the Grail (and how do they get their wish if the Master turned into the Grail?).
Zouken mentions that Acht was far more of a monster than him in HF, in some ways.
It makes sense why he would say that, since there is no real Acht anymore, he's just another puppet.
New stuff of /fgog/'s favorite crack pairing.
Which Shirou are we talking about?
Counter Guardian EMIYA Shirou is basically the hardest motherfucker to bring down short of true demons and aristoteles. Bring a whole army of heroes.
It's nice but farming for ascension still blows (On top of still not being able to farm pages, gears and homo babies at all) and the gacha remains awful
I'm more interested to see if events continue to give 4* servants like Halloween Liz. If it's back to only CE events for another 3 months then fuck this game
Its such a shame that they'll probably be post-story releases
Gotta wait basically year for anything there.
Unless HF movie coming out somehow spurs them into being released as an event.
After checking wiki. It seems that Alter's NP is stronger by 50% (150% stronger before finishing interlude). I guess the difference in stats is not enough to surpass Arturia though. The 1000 points difference is too much. Though I really feel lucky being able to draw EMIYA and Alter.
How does EMIYA fare anyway? I still don't have enough materials to ascend him to 70 since I used those in Alter's
Used 7 tickets, got
2 shitty boat CEs
Got everything I wanted except the 2 Hakuno CEs and Medea Lily.
So singles confirmed???
Pvp soon. We choose which Blue or Red Saber and fight the other faction and see which faction comes out on top for prizes.
Nero is the only thing in this game that the desire sensor was wired backwards for when I rolled the gacha.
>Counter Guardian EMIYA Shirou is basically the hardest motherfucker to bring down
He really isn't, or at least he's overstated.
He's just EMIYA with unlimited prana basically; however even with a world of prana, you're still limited to what your circuits can handle per load. Which means he won't be doing stuff like creating a thousand Excaliburs or whatever people imagine.
He's kind of entirely a fanon thing in terms of concept, people know nothing about him so they create unlimited bullshit about him. Nasu has had to crush this type of bullshit before, like when he said what Archer's route was like recently, to shoot down people going all "Wooooah, Fate EMIYA, surely in his version of the grailwar he married Ilya, killed everyone, and the final boss was Nero Chaos somehow". No, it was fairly normal.
He has no official feats as a guardian, and officially we've never seen how guardians fully work or seen them in action outside of the new scenes in UBW anime where he was basically just normal Archer.
End of CCC EMIYA is the strongest version of EMIYA by far; he's at the origin of humanity as a concept that can control time, space, dimension with a thought. He's the origin of black smiths and metal working, can travel faster than light, and other general bullshit. A CG is only so strong, but the origin boost pushes you far beyond your limits to the point of Zero, the origin. He's also the only one who can legit trace Excalibur. Its like forcefully modding your servant almost to the point of burning them out, but their power in that moment can challenge maybe even an Aristotle or strongest of divine spirits.
People don't seem to respect his Origin costume though.
Your Emperor eagerly awaits the day you are reunited anon
She's not the strongest of Servants, but I wouldn't trade her for anything.
>He's the origin of black smiths and metal working
Now I wonder if Origin Lancelot would be literally the Origin of UNRIVALEDS
Yeah, though if I remember right he did try to copy Delusional Heartbeat in the fight.
Since Assassin's Master was a serial killer and a bit of a media whore, the first thing he did in the War was murder some random fuck and paint a message addressed just vaguely enough at other Masters in their blood. After a couple more murders-with-messages over the next couple of days and a less-than-successful attempt at provoking him while simultaneously destroying his credibility with spray-painted messages of my own, we managed to encounter him in a very obvious trap that was unfortunately intentionally set up as the best way to take him out. Essentially, he used himself as bait for other Masters, myself in particular. Of course, at the time I had no idea what his Hassan was capable of, and there was this rather unnatural mist in the area we found him...
So of course, he starts the fight by Maria the Ripper-ing Lilith and forcing me to blow my only remaining Command Seal (I burned the first two incarnating Lilith) to force her to stay alive by any means necessary (which in a second is going to lead to explaining Lilith's abilities) and Longinus giving his Shroud NP (the one that resists curses) to his female Master to protect her while he engaged Assassin one-on-one (who had made himself known by attacking and dropping PC only to immediately transform into Kojirou).
Now, Lilith had two separate trump cards outside of her curse magic, one of which she didn't like to use and the other my character had difficulty sustaining due to not actually being a magus. The former was a skill, sort of an in-between between Innocent Monster and Nobunaga's Demon Lord skill that gave her a literal demon transformation. After a couple rounds of saving throws while the rest of us fought, the Command Seal forced a trigger of that to save her life, and she basically soloed Assassin after that. Kind of anticlimactic, but his Master got away. For now.
If you truly love your waifu, she will come to you whatever the circumstances are.
>KoH gets buffed so he can now use literally anything as a NP and works at long range too
>Aren't Counter Guardians stated to be beyond Servants though
But even if they were above servants, the origin boosted servant is far far above even that.
Its at the level when they turned the distance across entirely galaxies to nothing as if it was just a thought, and literally control time. That's the level they needed to be to fight an incarnated demon god.
Its universal level power
They're described as the "true form" of servants, so they're on the level of a fully incarnated real hero, the legend stepped out of the throne onto the battlefield.
Every hero in HGWs is dragged down by the quality of their master and recognition of the land, remember.
The idea is that no matter how much magic you have, you are inherently limited by your circuits.
This is an entire point in HF, with Dark Sakura. Despite her circuits being top class, they could still hold 1000 units of prana at a time, the same as Rin. As long as they could both maximize output for each step, they could only cancel each other out until someone's hand was forced.
In a sense you could say CG Archer isn't any different than Rin Archer. She was already giving him more than enough mana than he needed.
It's alright anon, it just means you bypassed the bullshit of gasha rolling and went straight for the kill.
That's why a reality marble is so cheaty, though.
When Shirou creates Unlimited Blade Works, he's no longer tracing and projecting himself, all his circuits are doing is "Creating 'Unlimited Blade Works'". Which takes normally a load of magical energy.. but a CG has infinite.
Also Hakuno's Archer has higher stats than Rin's Archer so clearly she doesn't fill his vessel.
How will she be worked in if she apparently never made it to the throne of heroes unless she got there some other way besides death.
The first time she came was from my first 10 roll. Other times have been from memerolls or when I used my wallet to try and get event servants.
>Also Hakuno's Archer has higher stats than Rin's Archer so clearly she doesn't fill his vessel.
He's a slightly different hero despite being the same existence
In Extra he's considered a legitimate hero, possibly due to the Mooncell. He's called Nameless for a reason, since he represents all nameless heroes who were never credited.
Servant summoning system "FATE" seems to be even more buggy than the Great Grail system, if that was even possible.
Past a certain point we're not going to even get explanations. Dr. Roman will just look at us and shrug.
How does that even work? The whole point of even involving the Throne is to get mana that the Grail uses for its wish-granting. Summoning from somewhere else would be pointless.
The following morning, we find out Assassin's Master basically went batshit after his Servant died. He murdered some other random person, and in this blood-message identified my identity as a Master and as a Psychic with a Sealing Designation-worthy ability. Panic ensued, because that would compromise a few Clock Tower magi who were helping me both lay low before this and keep the whole "grail war" thing under wraps from the Clock Tower. In the ensuing panic of getting the hell out of there, Assassin's Master showed up, much worse for wear. Lilith was still injured and both she and Longinus were out of mana. Logninus lent me his Lance to deal with him quickly and efficiently, and thus Assassin's Master was killed.
Now, since that bit of text was short, I'm going to jump back a bit to the enemy Caster before moving on with the story and getting to Rider.
In the days before we tracked down Assassin's Master, Lilith and my character were out making preparations for that spray-paint message I had mentioned earlier, when we randomly encountered the enemy Caster.
Who, as it turns out, was another instance of Lilith, Mother of Demons, summoned by one of the BBEG's other allies, a vampire I really didn't know too much about at the time.
Since it was daytime and her Master was nowhere around, and she was pretty quick to trust herself (because really, who wouldn't be) we were able to have a civil conversation with her, where we learned that she was lied to a little bit by her Master and the BBEG (and from which we were able to deduce that the BBEG would be the Master of Berserker), and we were able to fill her in on the BBEG's plan enough to convince her to become a double agent for us. Mostly because she trusted the other incarnation of herself more than her Master. Not much has had a chance to come out of that yet.
Being a villain doesn't prevent entry into the Throne. The Grail system they had in Fuyuki just prevented summoning of evil Heroic Spirits, until Angry Manjew kinda scratched out that rule.
>Atsuhi Ikariya was in charge of the character design for the anime version. He drew Berserker like a mecha, so he used lots of shadows and lines and tried to give a sense of the metal of the armour.
>UNRIVALED Origin form is a human scaled version of STTGL
In F/SN: the grail hit an error when a spirit tried to summon a spirit. It panicked and grabbed any soul it could, a wandering wraith on Mt Ryuudoji, and shoved it into a servant container.
In F/GO: servants just sort of pop out of Mashu's shield when you shove candy into it, even the guy who made the system is confused sometimes
Isn't that just the actual myth and the Nasuverse Scathach is still largely a mystery? She might've gotten rekt somewhere sometime for all we know or might have made a contract similar to seiba or whatever.
>She might've gotten rekt somewhere sometime for all we know
>and she was pretty quick to trust herself (because really, who wouldn't be)
>because really, who wouldn't be
Basically every instance of someone meeting another incarnation of themselves in Type-moon?
She's as trustworthy as she is huggable.
>she was really quick to trust herself (because really who wouldn't)
If she's not death and Nasu explains things properly Sca may end up being one of the few special cases where she'll just retreat a la story mode instead of fading away if her HP goes down to 0.
Pic related was really all that was needed but nice job anyway.
Its probably worked out once or twice
