Wake up as new bread is posted.
That's a good start to the day.
Your insolence knows no bounds.
Dammit Anon, I promised a Mirai story! Don't make me do Daidouji getting all "kyaa" over a roach in the middle of training!
MY WILL BE DONE
Maybe. I've been trying to come up with a Mirai story for a while now (and now there's that damn Daidouji story...), so it'll be waiting until I'm either finished with that, or until I give up on trying to come up with something for it.
sugoku kimoi gokiburi
Will you stop this and post Senrans? You're getting off topic fool
Last thread, I said I'd do some cooking with Olive Oils and Balsamic and theme them after each Senran's favorite food. I'm starting with Yumi and Shaved Ice, but which flavor should I use, as Red Bean Paste is not something they make an olive oil/balsamic with.
I have Blackberry-Ginger, Lemon, Tangerine and Coconut balsamic. From experience, Oil and Ice do not work well together (but it goes great with Ice Cream, and I highly suggest Butter Olive Oil to go with Vanilla). Of those four I listed, which do you feel I should try?
Getting this one out of the way while the idea is still fresh in the head.
>"Step it up, pup!" Daidouji shouts at you. "You've got 10 more sets to go before we can begin!"
>"Yes Ma'am!" You grunt out, completing another pull up. You can feel your arms burning already after thirty sets, but you know that any pain from the exercise itself is a timid passing before the might of Daidouji's hellish training program. Any weakness shown now would just make it all the worse for you as she tries to beat the weakness out of you.
>"Very good!" Daidouji says, commenting on your form. "Keep those shoulders spread! You need to feel it in your chest and shoulders too!"
>"A good warm up exercise is important to keeping yourself well toned and ready to work the muscles. You've still got a long way to go.... go.... g-g-g-g-g-g...."
>You stop and hang there for a second, looking down.
>The Daidouji you know is a fearless beast who can crush mountains with but the slightest of movements.
>But the face you know is not that of Daidouji, but of a terrified maiden trying to not scream.
>Your eyes look off to the side to find a large black cockroach sitting on the wall a few inches from you.
>You see Daidouji leap towards you, fist clenched and ready to destroy all in its path. It's by miracle alone that you let go over the bar and fall to the floor in time to get out of her way, her fist smashing into the wall and breaking down half of it down with immense force.
>You feel the whole ground shake as though an earthquake was ripping through the gymnasium, and look up as the dust clears. Daidouji runs behind you and kneels down.
>"I hate cockroaches! They're so gross and icky and nasty!" She shouts, betraying her usual rough and yankee like mannerisms. "Anon! Get rid of that roach this instant!"
>"R-right!" You say as you run off. If the roach did survive that onslaught, it would undoubtedly be the mightiest of all its kind.
Now enough of your nonsense /skg/
>tfw you realize that the MIB song is a rip off
I got Burst the other day for 3DS. The combo system is really fun, if it had as large a moveset of Code of Princess, it'd be a 10/10 in my book. I also like that, compared to CoP, the framerate in Burst is actually playable and possible to ignore.
i was thinking more Ginrei goes apeshit when they try to steal Reo's anon
I'm just so sick of mirai and the worst part is homura is taking mirai's place instead of an equalization of senran posting like i wanted
Time to post Mirai to drown out the shieldfags.
Everytime someone talks shit about Mirai, my love for her is made that much stronger.
you can never go wrong with homu
I want to eat a meal cooked by Mirai.
I just love Homura in a white t-shirt and jeans.
He gets it. Certain heartless anons think they can get away with bullying Mirai, but their efforts are in vain.
Homura is sexy as fuck in whatever she wears
Prove me wrong, /skg/
im glad she's been getting a push as of late
>implying mirai is anywhere near the high caliber of the dairoach
i have high hopes for the dairoach - im a dreamer
I don't think I've ever seen the original version of this
She apparently changes her casual wear more tan most other Senrans.
I want to have a romantic night with Mirai. Take her out dancing, and then to an awfully fancy dinner, and then back to my place so we can cuddle by candlelight and enjoy some wine...
And then we'd end it with intense, intimate sex that leaves us both exhausted and sweaty, after which we sleep embracing each other in the nude.
>"An-... Anon... Anon."
>you're awakened by a familiar voice
>you find yourself tied to your bed
>"Ara~ara, you're finaly awake. We've been waiting for you."
>Haruka turns your head and you find Mirai tied down to a chair
>"Leave Onii-chan alone!" Mirai yells
>"Don't worry I won't be doing anything to him... today."
>Haruka turns back to you "You must be very lonely when Mirai isn't here."
>she reaches into a bag and pulls out a stack of photos "So I brought you some gifts."
>she picks one off the top "These are special photos I took for you."
>the first photo is of Mirai sleeping, sprawled out on her bed
>"Isn't she just adorable? Next one."
>the second one is Mirai eating her lunch with a bit of food on her cheeks
>"Oh my, don't you just wish you could lick that off?"
>Mirai starts rocking in her chair "S-Stop!"
>"These next few can help you when you're feeling extra lonely."
>the next one is of her in front of a mirror wearing only bra and panties
>"She was trying to pick the ones you'd like. I belive she's wearing them now."
>Mirai's face is now red "Noooo! Stooop!"
>Haruka shows you another "Mirai loves bubble baths. Maybe next time you can join her."
>"GAAAH!!!" Mirai falls over
>"Last one Anon."
>the last photo is Mirai kissing a photo of you
>"She does this every morning and night that she is not with you."
>"Well it seems I'm all out." she unties one of your arms
>"I'll have more for you soon." she quickly leaves before you can untie Mirai
>Mirai's bouncing up and down on the floor "GET BACK HERE!"
>after calming her down, she decides to let you keep them
>Love every girl but Hibari and Yomi
>Give the girls I do love lots of time and post art of them when they pop up, play all the games, commission artwork for senrans, and write blogs arguing why SK isn't sexist, etc.
But I'm not actually a fan of the series, since I don't love two of the characters, apparently
Doing nothing but talking shit =/= not liking certain ones.
Imagine if some neckbeard went into a restaurant, and instead of being seated or ordering anything and minding their own business, started screaming at the top of their lungs about how shitty the pasta is. That's basically what these guys are doing.
I know that you're just saying not to be vocal about your hate. My post was more a wide jab at the people who bag on others for not loving every senran. That said, though, I still don't agree with you saying that anyone who talks shit "isn't a fan". You don't get to decide that.
If you were a true fan, you wouldn't want to try and rob the joy others get from their favorite senrans by talking shit about them. You'd understand that they get the same feelings of joy and happiness you do from your favorites.
Talking shit about senrans implies a certain level of pettiness, and/or a lack of empathy for your fellows. A true fan wants everyone to be happy with the Senrans, even if it's in a way they don't understand/don't personally enjoy. A true fan DOES NOT come in here, spouting shit, trying to make others feel bad.
>Talking shit about senrans implies a certain level of pettiness, and/or a lack of empathy for your fellows
How is that different than the miraispammer who is forcing their love down everyone else's throat?
that sounds more like an ideology on what you believe a true fan is
i've seen fans and maybe even "true" or hardcore fans of varying games. each community always has their take on which character(s) is shit - be it a flaw in their design or just out of spite
this game is no different
>It's always a reaction to the shit talking, never the other way around. A refusal to sit idly by and let their favorite be shit on.
and where is that in this thread where anyone talked shit to Mirai? The only thing that was said was a guy who said that 'I do not like Mirai and want others to get some attention.'
It's gotten beyond 'Do not talk shit' and has gotten to the point of just loving all Senrans. You can't even say that you don't like constant image dumping or that you'd wish for another to get posted, or else miraispammer just comes in.
Nice try, but nope. If these threads were discussing actual gameplay, then maybe that argument would hold water. However, 99.9% of the time it's discussion about the characters themselves, not how they play in game.
A rather direct strike at Mirai and her fans.
>shit talkers trying to justify being mean-spirited assholes
I always hold out hope that /skg/ can be a pleasant, safe place to discuss the characters you like, and I am always disappointed. Guess that's what I get for expecting such a thing on 4chan.
You are now aware that the anti-Mirai posters are just
Mirai trying to get people to post fanart and stories about her
>A rather direct strike at Mirai and her fans.
So basically 'no one can say anything I perceive as negative or else they are not fans of the series.' This is /mlp/ levels of hugbox.
And those came after the miraithon.
Except nobody talked shit. I said i didn't like her, that's not talking shit that's expressing a dislike for a character, the miraiathon started because of that one faggot who always posts mirai whenever somebody says they dislike her.
>people get upset at my le ebin trolling ;~;
>wanting to be able to talk about things you like without someone coming in and trying to shit all over it is somehow on the same level as ponyfucking
I have a place more fitting for your mental capacities, you should check it out: >>>/b/
firstly, there is a rather small amount of gameplay discussion when you look at all the skg threads as a whole
even on threads where the majority of it is image dumps, you have people going around saying "x a shit" which is also largely based on the character themselves
also >>74403491 is not a direct strike - either you misunderstood the post or you quoted the wrong person. that poster was just said that >>74403236 wasn't going to do a story on mirai and wanted to focus on another character instead. and it's funny because his post got blown out of proportion by >>74403610
I can't tell if this is more horrible than the Haruka one some guy posted a few threads back
>tfw that's my post
At least there aren't as many mirai dumps as there used to be
Why? It's nice and tasteful.
Who here is planning on watching that SK2 livestream event tomorrow? I know I will.
I was actually thinking about Yagyu earlier myself. I don't mind contributing
>still looked at it
Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
I don't really wanna go overboard with the pictures
Probably not. Someone will probably have all the interesting stuff up on Youtube within a day so I'm not too worried.
Not SK, but who here likes Ys and other Falcom games?
>equalization of senran posting like i wanted
You seem to just have problems with Mirai and most of all she hasn't even been mentioned much, go ahead and check the last few threads. If anything the one getting all the image dumps in every thread has been Homu. I don't see you rallying against the Homu posting either, so it clearly isn't about 'equalization of senran posting'
>checking the Daidouji tag every day
>same artist drawing her with Hibari every time
All you have to do is ask the artists in Pixiv or Deviantart man. Because we all want more of them. In fact, Daidouji and Rin are probably the most underrated girls in Senran Kagura. And you know what? That's a fucking shame.
Anon admitted they were sick of Mirai. Nothing wrong with that. Another anon hoped that a potential story would be about Mirai and it likely is not. That's fine. Anon also said that he is sad that Homura is essentially taking Mirai's place. This is understandable since he hoped that senrans would be posted in equal amounts and not one more than the other. It's not like he was asked to do a Homura story either.
You also shifted the focus from stories to just image dumps. It's true that there was been very little Mirai image dumps as of late (aside from the earlier small dump) and there has been more Homura. However, Mirai still probably holds the focus of some of the stories.
Both sides can use little to no logic to justify what they feel. One anon can like Mirai just because she's cute. Another may not like her just because they find her annoying. Simple answers, not a lot of detail. Both sides can also give detailed answers being their reasoning. Don't try to make it seem so one-sided
..... I swear, I'm never gonna get that damn Mirai story done...
>sends >>74412668 to friend
>he ehrngrunads over legs
>googles dressing room pictures to sell the game to him
I can only imagine how glitchy this game was in earlier builds. Regarding lewd.
Do Leo, Haruka, and Yagyu next please
Why do you think she only gropes girls, Anon?
No rush, if you're not feeling it just come back to it later.
I think I may gather up all my Mirai stories into a pastebin. I've been having some serious writers block lately so I haven't been creating as many new stories as I used to. Feels bad man.
>Hikage has been out on missions for two weeks now
>after days of missions she finally has a chance to relax
>she a big tree to rest under
>when she awakens, she finds a snail moving across her chest
>after watching it for a bit, she finally notices the sticky trail it's leaving behind
>she takes a bit between her fingers and plays with it
>"This feels familiar" she thinks to herself
>after trying to figure it out for a while, it finally hits her
>she takes her other hand and cups her crotch area
>she remembers all the times you left your seed in her "It feels like Anon's..."
>the snail is about return to the grass, but she picks it up
>"I'll call you Anon." she puts it on her shoulder and continues on her way
>a few days later she arives at your place "We're home."
>you go to greet her "We?"
>she shows you her snail "I named him Anon."
>you look at her confused "Why?"
>she shows you the sticky goo "It reminded me of you."
>"At least mine looks better" as you examine the snail trail while sipping from a drink
>"It tastes better too," she responds innocently
Godspeed, you magnificent bastard.
>You then mount her and spurt a load of hot, sticky
turdsinto her mouth
>Hikage gulps it down with pure hunger and lust
>"Thanks for the meal, Anon..." She says, licking her lips mischievously
Nonsense, he has the right idea
I want to lick Homura's feet and smell them for hours on end, and then I want to suck on her toes while massaging her soles. I also want to lick her armpits and navel, while squeezing her ass. I want to do things to her legs. Boobs, too. Every inch of Homura's body is an altar for me to worship, the way I see it
Why does Asuka become a megaslut around Homura? And why does Homura become a megaprude around Asuka?
I just want to
holdDaidouji and rub her head.
How much attention does she get in the 3DS games, anyway? It pisses me off that SV had her as DLC only, the only way I've really gotten to know her is from the anime and the mangas she appeared in.
I like Homura if only for 2 reasons. Pic related, and the concept of "I carry around this weapon, but hell if I draw it until I'm ready to kick ass!"
Pretty much none, she is referenced in a chapter midway through, and comes back to fight everyone at the end
I'd be hard-pressed to find something I dislike about Homura, she's just so incredibly sexy in every way. And she's badass, too, that's nice. But damn her body is rocking.
I hope you mean Daidouji.
None of the missions are particularly hard, unless you're doing extra missions in Frantic mode. Mirai bossfights are also a bitch on your first play through.
I want to see Mirai redesigned as a mecha girl like this
Shit guys, I never played the extra stages
and I gave up playing on frantic when I realized how time consuming it was gonna be to clear every level 12 times, but now I'm really scared to go back
You know who to call if all else fails.
>Hebi's Daidouji fight easier than Hanzo Daidouji fight
You WHAT mate?
Rin's fight is easier because it goes by faster, and she's less lethal than Daidouji.
Uh, if you seriously think Hebi's Daidouji fight is easier than Hanzo's Daidouji fight, it's probably because it goes by faster, so you are less vulnerable to impending FuckYou specials less often.
When Yin and Yang are maxed out, you can select the character in character select menu and pick them into Yin (blue), Yang (red), and Flash (yellow)
Yin will force your character into Frantic mode at the start of a fight. Which means 750% more damage, at the cost of 90% defense.
Yang is relatively normal, super tanky mode, prevents you from taking stuns from everything except clothing damage. Turns crossbow maids into a joke.
Flash is the one between, it's a more offensive Yang mode, you still get stunned, but you can force an enemy into an infinite aerial rave, rather than Yin's 2 and Yang's 3.
Each mode has their own combos. You can read up on the combos in the Tech menu ingame, and you can read up on the actual bonuses from Yin, Yang, and Flash in the library.
Her strength exceeds the 3DS's capabilities
You could probably extend that question to half the game
>not instinctively killing them on sight
Why do writefags, and...well the industry in general think that everybody that watch/play anime/games think they know Japanese? I shouldn't have to keep stop to google a phrase.
You dare to even compare us to your ilk? Your mockery will not go unpunished
I doubt that, under that logic, there would be no interest in porting things over. We would not have Senran Burst, SV, Dekamori, and, eventually, 2, ported over in english. We would not have Fianl Fantasy ported over in english. We would not have Hyperdesperation Neptunia ported over in english. We would not have .hack// ported over in english. etc.
Well with >>74398419
If i didn't know the context I wouldn't have known gokiburi is cockroach.
(no offense, StorytiemAnon I love your stories)
And anyway, Is it so hard to call somebody underclassmen/upperclassmen or big brother/sister? Say something is cute or cool without using Sugoi or Kawaii? Say someone's name without adding chan or san to it? Say they got a nosebleed instead of getting turned on? Sorry its a nitpick that I've had with current anime. Unpopular opionion, excuse me.
I've personally got chewed out at a con because i didn't know what a tsundere or yandere. So I'm a little heated right now. Sorry If I've came off as being a bit douchy
>Being part of a fandom
>Not understanding the basic terminology associated with said fandom
Would you bitch and moan about star wars fans being upset at you not knowing what a Jedi is?
With the suffixes, those are something that are left in because it fits the setting. And I'm in agreement that stuff like gratuitous Japanese should be edited out unless that is how people decide to translate a joke.
Well, there is a good chance people DO know this stuff.
I agree with you with how to call people and the cute thing, but I don't mind the -san much, and I don't get what you mean with the nosebleed/pervert part.
Because cultural differences create situations in which it is difficult to drive a certain idea or emotion home in another language. Translation teams are notorious for having to alter a joke in its entirety (or at least put in translators notes, which might as well be the same as having to explain the joke) simply on the fact that there is no way in hell to translate it into another language and keep the original comedy value to it. This can extend to many other circumstances, such as romance, in which cultural differences run high and situations that might be common and normal practice over there get trashed for being even slightly offensive elsewhere.
It's an unfortunate side effect of working with material based in another culture, even if one is an american weaboo fag just writing fanfiction. It's especially notorious in those such as myself who are learning the language and end up coming up with a scenario in half broken wapanese concepts...
Because honorifics and all that are an important part of communication in Japanese. They imply the level of familiarity or respect one has for another, and in some cases give insight into the personality of the character themselves. There's not really an english equivalent to it, and removing it from translations in turn removes characterization.
Also, there's instances like Onii-chan and Aniki. Both can be translated into english as "Big Brother", but Onii-chan is more endearing/familial than Aniki, which in turn is more friendly.
To be fair, that kind of a bad analogy but I get what you're coming from. Anime didn't use to be that mainstream though, so I'm haven't gotten used to knowing these phrases.
But i'm glad ya'll know where i'm coming from.
I literally heard often people say things like:
>"I'm trying really hard not to get a nosebleed with what you are wearing"
>"Did you see that girl's butt? It gave me a nosebleed"
Sorry to go off topic everyone, Here have a unrealated pic of a flustered Hikage
>Not posting the .gif
Thanks for clearing that up and being nice about it. I've gotten a better understanding of it. I apologize if i came off as being bitter.
How can my emotionless killer possibly be this cute?
It's never a problem. I understand where you're coming from quite well actually, because I was there once. It's that precise reason I became interested in learning the language and culture to begin with. It can get a bit annoying seeing bleed over when you're unaware. Learning can be fun though, so don't be afraid to ask (or google when in doubt).
Which is your favorite Senran intro /skg/?
>realizing the part with the white dresses isn't just some filler segment
>you walk by Murasaki's room for a planned event
>before you knock, you can hear faint huffing and puffing
>you slowly open the door and peek inside
>Murasaki is sitting (like in the pic) by her table - one hand holding a pizza and her other hand underneath the table
>lewd noises and her red face tells you all you need to know
>she can barely feed herself as her arm keeps shaking and she can't keep it steady enough to take a bite of pizza
>"Anon, hurry...your delivery" you hear her say with increased breaths
>that line caught you off guard and you bump into the door
>Murasaki's eyes widen and she stares directly at you like a deer caught in headlights
>"Uh...that'll be $12.99...plus tip?" you say while you chuckle in embarrassment
>a dark aura surrounds Murasaki - she's gone into panic mode!
>you try to explain but her scream drowns your pleas
>you black out
This sounds cool. I'd wonder if it should be more like Strike Witches or more like some Zone of the Enders orbital frame? Maybe even something like MGR's Raiden styled Mirai.
I can't draw well but it sounds like something that could be fun to try. I gotta practice somehow I guess.
Use picture from >>74406447
>You sit by the gates to the shrine, waiting for Mirai to arrive so you can enjoy the festival together.
>"Anon! Thanks for waiting!" You hear Mirai call out to you, running up towards you.
>Your eyes are drawn to her, the celeste blue yukata striking against the darkness of the night making Mirai radiant looking.
>"Wow, you look really pretty, Mirai." You say out loud, unable to rip your eyes away from the small girl. Mirai grins and puffs her chest out proudly.
>"So Anon is taken aback by my charms, huh?" You smile with a chuckle at her conceitedness. Mirai frowns a bit at this. "What? What's so funny?"
>"I just thought that Mirai is best being herself after all." You say, walking over to her and grabbing her hand in yours. Mirai blushes at the sudden contact, looking up at you with a sheepish smile.
>"H-Holding hands with me in public? You're gonna get mistaken for a creeper, Anon."
>"Why? Cause my girlfriend is short and flat? I don't need to have my girlfriend to have big boobs to enjoy being together with her!"
>"The words of a creeper indeed." Mirai says with a snicker
>"Let them think whatever they want. They're just jealous their girlfriend isn't this cute." You state proudly. Mirai blushes, being treated like a grown woman both surprising and pleasing all at the same time.
>"Thanks, Anon. You're so sweet."
>"C'mon." You say, pulling Mirai along as you head in. "Lets go have fun before its time for the fireworks."
>Mirai nods, following you along as you enter the festival grounds.
>You enjoy yourselves thoroughly. Grilled corn, candied apples, goldfish catching, various other games. Mirai was sent away from the shooting game for being too good at it, leaving you to carry a mountain of stuffed animals.
>"Did you really have to win so many?" You ask, shifting in position to keep hold of it all.
>"There was so many cute ones though!" She said. "I'll give some of them to my team mates too. Yomi will be thrilled that they even made a beansprout plushie to begin with."
>Your conversation is cut off by the distinct pop and flare of light in the sky. The fireworks were already starting. You and Mirai look up in wonderment, finding a nearby bench to sit down at. It may not be as good a seat as you were hoping for, but there were few people nearby, and the view was perfect for the apex of the shots.
>You feel Mirai lean against you, wrapping her arms around yours as she snuggled close. You smile wide as you both look up at the show of lights together.
>After a while, the show came to a stop, but Mirai refused to let go. You looked down at her, a wide smile on her face as she looked up at you.
>"This was really fun tonight, Anon. Thank you."
>"You're welcome." You say, leaning in to kiss her forehead lovingly. She giggles and lifts herself up higher, her lips touching yours before you can reach her.
>"I love you, Anon." She says with a playful grin. You smile back at her tenderly.
>"I love you too, Mirai."
Enjoy your summer evening while you can /skg/!
I still remember the E3 it was announced. Dude goes up and presents the decorated history of Gradius all professional like and what follows is a completely anime style trailer with flying waifus.
>I don't need to have my girlfriend to have big boobs to enjoy being together with her!
>They're just jealous their girlfriend isn't this cute.
>not liking Mirai specifically because she's so petite
Busty is sexy, but a body like Mirais...it takes my breath away. So delicate, so beautiful...I just want to hold her, make love to her.
I don't know how you came to that implication but both it and you are dumb.
>something nice about your least liked Senran
homura isn't too far from being shit
>something bad about your most liked
mirai is too perfect
it's lonely at the top
I think flat/petite has a wonderful charm all its own. There's something just really cute about it, I enjoy big tits but there's a certain elegance and grace that girls with smaller boobs can pull off. All those slender curves are just really something amazing.
I really can't think of anything nice to say about Imu, I don't know enough about her. But I like Mirai's hair.
Ikaruga could cut loose a little more often.
Though the fact that she gets little focus in the story certainly doesn't help that. I'm sorry, it's too hard to be mean to her.
Imu is cute in a plain way I guess.
I've heard she's kind of an asshole to Murasaki in SV though so she's probably going to stay at the bottom FOREVER.
I wish Mirai had more confidence in herself.
>least liked senran
i'll have to get back to this one - i need to think
i would have liked a bit more lines that didn't involve poverty, inexpensive foods, and the rich
Double eyepatches are pretty funny and I like her combo where she starts running and gunning.
Her starting ninja art is trash shit garbage. You also probably won't have her good ninja arts unlocked by the end of the story unless you make her do a bunch of side missions since she gets like four story missions.
Imu's design is interesting, and a nice deviation from the overly flashy or scantily clad designs of her fellows and rivals. Hikage's design is a bit of an overdone push to the snake motif, and the clothes comes off as for no other reason than an excuse for her to show off more skin.
I wish I could like Imu more. Her design really is great, and a fantastic voice actress was gotten to provide a voice for her. Something about her just is not clicking for me though...
I onlly know her from burst and in bburst she is an insecure child who happens to have literaly some of the most unenjoyable gameplay in said game. Long live characters with decent gameplay.
>finally transfer my vector folder to my laptop
>find this one
I had forgotten about it.
Yomi has great themes
Asuka in the Hebi route is terrible.
>Iunno, fucking, Miyabi?
Even though she's considered a man, she is really cute, body wise.
She's a character? It's hard to tell. She has as much personality as a chair.
Well, I wanted to give a genuine compliment to her but it's fairly difficult for me. I'm no fan of that gothic lolita style, I don't really care for her cat accessories
I have to agree with >>74456952 on her gameplay though. Even with the counters in mind, I still consider her to be a somewhat problematic character to play as. But I still have to say something nice about her. I guess I like her VA.
I don't get why you sound so defensive. If you are >>74455464 you didn't get faced with hostility but as soon as the other anon and I say something about a senran which happened to be Mirai, you act like this
I found Mirai as being a beast on Frantic mode. Walkyrie clear screens like nobody business and her umbrella is great for crowd control. She's tricky to use on closed levels though.
To be fair, there's been some Mirai suppression going down in the past few threads, so it's no wonder that the Miraibros are getting a little on edge.
I'm guessing playing someone like Baiken is completely baffling to you as well since her counter moveset/super is completely situational as well.
I never play her on frantic because of how fragile she is
And when your counter only blocks melee moves and you can be stunlocked by damn near anything you tend to get pretty fucking frustrated with a character who's whole point is the god damn counter.
But regardless of your opinion or my experience I'm going to bed.
Mirai destroys bosses, especially Daidouji on Frantic.
>dash 4 a'clock
>GTFO to the far right
>grab full restore
>L+Y, L+Y, L+Y, L+Y
>run and get the other full restore
>L+Y, L+Y, L+Y, L+Y
>then spam X
>easy 5-14 frantic finish without Rin
You can't do that with Hikage, her nipos do low damage and can't finish the robots quickly. I had to time her x attack to lauch the robots, combo them, use a nipo and repeat. Hell, I had to combo Daidouji to death.
Baiken is a heavily counter based fighter from Guilty Gear. She has lots of moves that guard cancel directly into an attack, her primary super is a super guard cancel that messes with mechanics (like jumping, the use of any special moves, lower enemy damage output, increase enemy damage taken). She's really hard to use though and takes quite a bit of effort to play as.
Hikage has to rely on using a well-ranged X to uppercut assholes super high in the air, aerial rave them twice, end the rave with an X for more damage, use her Aerial L+Y, and fucking dash away like the plague. Repeat and don't die.
Hikage's standard X launches enemies the highest in the air, so finishing an aerial rave with an X does more damage compared to everyone else. Her XX is the most reliable form of getting people in the air.
B-by her XX, I mean, X -> X, not her "snake."
To be fair, it was was just miraibros discussing Mirai peacefully for a long time and then it got to the point where nearly every time she was brought up someone would begin shitposting. It's not like we've even had Miraithons since the very early threads so the whole "she's taking up all the image limit" argument doesn't even stand.
It's just anons who don't like to see Mirai and making the normally pretty chill Miraibros more defensive. I'm trying to think of what other senran fan is so openly attacked (shitposts/derails) once they start to get discussion in /skg/ and it seems to mostly be for Mirai.
Stick around, /skg/ is the nicest general on 4chan
my point still stands
what was offered was normal criticism - if that's considered shitposting then im disappointed as that would mean any form of negative commentary prompts such a defensive response
it's controversial to me, as i pointed out earlier, one that got away with saying "homura isn't too far from being shit" - either no homura fans were around at the time or they, for a lack of a better phrase, have more backbone and let it slide
what you're saying to me is that the mirai anon(s) are justified to respond harshly due to previous drama? i can understand learning from past experiences but that alone shouldn't guide actions, especially when i feel that there was no hostility from the "anti-mirai" commentary
Tits are life, ass is hometown.
Dick is unity
It will all become clear in time.
>"a-anon why won't you stop posting and cuddle with me?"
Who about a sadist that can go from flat to busty at a moments notice?
she's the only one that can do this
This is...actually fucking hard......Looks decent in bondage...?
Really? You couldn't have taken advantage of somebody better? Poor Mirai.
You should definitely give her a try, don't get frustrated though, she's challenging and requires a lot of use of baiting and guessing what the opponent will do next. This makes it hard for her to really take an offense (even though she can her damage is low) so she's more of a punish type of character.
As can be expected she's extremely satisfying to use correctly, but you'll probably get stomped until you really really get the hang of her and also learn the moves other characters have that you can easily punish. I'd have to say she definitely takes a lot of effort to both learn and play.
Seimei, because she's
one of the softest.
