>It's been October 30th for 9 hours and 40 minutes now
>Still no SMTIV
we'll get it today, r-right guys...
I really want to fuck Mirai unlike some other lying bastards who just want to piss others off and be famous on a non e-mouse imageboard
This is for you, christian janny who is allergic to shimapan. I hope you are not offended by this image. I really put some effort in there just for you, my friend.
To avoid misunderstandings: with effort I meant going out of my way to search an image suited for that pussy of janitor. Obviously I don't have that much talent, uf I had, I'd happily be the resident drawfag.
Nothing wrong with masturbating, buddy.
>doesn't care about SFW images getting deleted on an imageboard where everyone has to be over 18 anyways.
sasuga retard. Not like we need images, amirite?
I actually woke up three times last night, always had to check if I could download it now. God, I hate Nintendo. And Sony and Steam and Microsoft and the other digital download platforms as well.
>Is the "glass cannon" max magic build still an option?
No. Why the fuck should it be? Yuropoor version is completely different. You can't rely on those infos linked in the pastebin, you have to ask everything you're not sure about here, we'll gladly answer it.
Not really, it's just much easier with a guide. You have to be between -8 and 8 at some point near the end. Knowing about how much answers affect alignments is more than enough though.
Yes, unfortunately the most rewarding like (almost) always.
Depending on your interpretation, SMTII can arguably be said to have a kind of good one. And nocturne's "reset" ending despite being neutral has lucifer congratulate you, so the game vaguely treats it as chaotic.
Along with having your alignment balanced you also have to finish a bunch of specific side quests. The game doesn't tell you which these are, so even if you manage to get enough points for neutrality, if you don't finish those quests you still get stuck on law or chaos.
That's what happened to me on my first playthrough while attempting to get Neutral
Is this what Beelzebub does in his spare time?
4 bugs (2 major) upon release that took them months to fix.
Just imagine getting the game nearly 2 years after everyone else and than you get an unplayable version because it freezes all the time.
>3. The "Accident" message in the auction house, when a demon lied about its stats, throws you out of the game and resets the system.
>4. Using the 'Summon' command, no matter in what situation (dead demon etc.) will freeze the game. It will unfreeze after some time if you feel like waiting 5 minutes.
I actually had it written down.
Overclocked didn't crack 10,000 units in europe, SMT sales here are non-existent
Whether that's because it's because we don't like the games or because Atlus are fucking dicks to us is hard to say but the way things are I can understand them not wanting to risk a physical release.
Honestly we should be happy that Sega/Atlus are actually localising a game for once
>just finished exams
>tucked up in bed with my laptop and looking forward to watching eurobros enjoy a great game
>tfw my card doesn't have enough room for SMT IV unless I get rid of practically everything on it
I'm not fucking getting rid of ALBW when it was the main reason I bought the 3DS XL in the first place. FUCK. Looks like I'll be waiting till the morning...
I read some spoilers when it came out, lost interest for about a year and got interested again when I heard it was actually coming out soon
I guided Eridanus for my second run of SJ but that sector still critically saps my desire to play the game. I should go back to it, at least Ouroboros won't be such a pain the second time 'round.
Fuse your demons.
Sorry to say that IS the only real tip. You need a strong team that can hit its weakness and resist the instant death attacks.
Having Debilitate and Luster Candy does wonders.
If you're lazy you could always summon a few password demons if you have plenty of Macca to spare. Downside is that you're blowing a bunch of cash in demons that will probably only be useful for that fight.
Are those actual comments made about the game?
I'm feeling sick just reading them knowing how good SMT IV is, they're that mind-numbingly stupid and idiotic.
You're not the only one who finished all his exams, Anon.
Gen Chem I exam was fun as hell.
Yeah, see >>84925594 and >>84925724
Spam Agi skills (use Randall's Flame Shot on Space Marine) and debuffs/buffs (only up to +3/-3 or she'll use Silent Prayer and null all stat changes), and be sure to have some resistance to electricity and light. Make sure to have a whole team of demons the same alignment as you to repeatedly spam Co-Op Attacks, to overcome her passive HP Regen.
When you see her use an attack on her second form called "Wave of Death", or the attack "Disaster Cycle" on either of her forms, be sure to tell us how badly it went for you.
Because you WILL be salty as fuck.
Also, congrats on SMT IV, all those who live in Europe!
I only played Nocturne halfway but wasn't there pretty much the same Law/Chaos stuff in there as well? I get that people are too dumb to realize this is not a Persona game but that seems like someones just spouting nonsense.
this is 4chan, and moreover this is /vg/. The chances that people are spouting nonsense on any given game is essentially 100%, if not more.
It's cute how excited you europeans are getting.
I hope you enjoy it!
It's like being chained up in a dark cellar and having only shit to eat for 20 years. Even dust will taste like 5 star gourmet dinner after that.
That's essentially how Atlus treats yuropoors.
are the little balls dropping into the box indicative of anything to do with download speed, suddenly less are falling in each time...
>Naming yourself Guns and going with a gun build
I like it.
It'll be awhile before we get to that point considering it's not yet announced for localization here in the states.
But yeah those'll be fun times too.
So, are the DLC's worth it?
Since we got the game for 20 and not for 40 like usual I thought that buying them all would be okay.
But I dunno which ones are actually useful, and connected to the story, etc.
Any list somewhere? Or some tips?
But what if they're the same alignment as you?
It's an EXP grinding area where you grind EXP and some enemies drop items that give even more exp (but then require a battle to level up)
There's also a Money one (enemies drop rare expensive things) and an App Points one. Those are all about getting past a huge grind, especially with the first boss.
It'd be neat if that happened again but we'll see.
How would hugging a Mothman feel?
And would you want to hug a Mothman?
Expat of a certain country living in 'Murrika, and wishing all you Europeans a wonderful first playthrough. I hope you all truly have a glorious time, that there are minimal/no bugs, and you enjoy the game as much as I did, dearest friends.
So long as you choose Chaos.
We know you're reading this
We know if... has been translated for years
just finish whatever you've been doing dicking around with the font or some shit and release the damn game already ok? its been 2011 for a while now
> Recruiting a fairy chick for my second quest.
> Give her macca.
> More macca.
> More macca.
> Let her fucking slap me.
> She leaves.
I missed you, SMT.
SMT missed you too, friend.
Well I haven't had time to shitpost about robot girls here in a while, but my parfom Aigis finally got here and I couldn't be happer
So I guess eurobros finally got SMTIV? Happy for you guys, it's a great game and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe this will revitalize the general until we get more news about Break Record
and then they'll have to wait for Break Record to come out in EU. Thus the cycle continues
there is a way to break the cycle, son of man
That's just how it goes.
> Decided on a build.
> Gonna restart now just to be more efficient.
Re-recruiting those three demons is gonna blow.
refusing a request often works to end negotiations successfully, after you've given them some stuff.
don't be completely accommodating.
also, avoid giving them macca, give them items.
Nay, as Americans all we can do is look at the EU's suffering and weep.
Why am I not surprised that you can make this?
>Need to level to 45 from 44 to be able to summon password Dionysus for Ouroboros
>55K Exp needed to level up
>Enemy Challenge Sub-App activated
Let's do this.
Why is Matador supposed to be hard again? I mean yeah, I obviously overprepared by getting Fog Breath and Uzume+Nekomata that knows Tarukaja and Sukukaja but fuck. Is he supposed to teach players that buffs+debuffs and resistances matter?
Are all of Nocturnes dungeons going to be as tedious as that first part of the Amala network on the way to Ginza? It wasn't necessarily hard, but holy hell was it tedious fighting constant waves of the same enemies over and over every other step.
I'll still get the swag fucker a custom skill-set and grind him to 80 come end-game.
It's a endurance march, the bosses aren't the thing that makes Nocturne hard on hard mode, it's the dungeons.
You go into the Amala Network 2 more times in the game. Both times aren't as bad as the first, so that's OK.
You'll be in the Ikebukuro Tunnels at some point, and you need to beat all the bosses in there for a Magatama. It is annoying as fuck to navigate, everybody hates it.
The Obelisk is cool as hell, but tedious in a good way: it makes you think to solve the puzzles, making it GOOD design. Yet it's also annoying as fuck cuz there are demons that can either completely magic or critical you to death there; not to mention the insane length of time it takes to get to the Fountain up in it. You'll be using your Retreat command over and over, while the enemies keep coming EVEN WITH ESTOMA UP!
Other than that, all the other dungeons that are at all significant have their own gimmicks. Some get tedious fast, some keep you thinking and engaged so much you grow to love em.
That's Nocturne for you.
Name the fucker SaMuel TanGles or something, and nickname him SMTG
Just you. Try restarting your comp.
Hard mode is kinda exciting because half the battles start with the enemy party going first and like a third of those are back attacks. Scenarios where you almost die are pretty common and running out of resources spells death for you. Knowing what magatama to get is a skill too since the bloody things cost triple their price in normal mode.
Europe is getting DLC later, see:
As for Arena 2, SEGA confirmed no DLC for Europe due to contractual issues, whatever that means. People are very sour about that.
He is in his kalpa having orgies all the time with his Harem of Demon waifus.
Beelzebub is the biggest player in Megaten.
YES! FINALLY BEAT OUROBOROS 2ND FORM!
FUCK YOU EARTH MOTHER!
>tfw you'll never have Nyarly again
>P3 being forgotten about and faded into obscurity like P1 and 2
>Radiant Equipment (€0,99/£0.75) — Delivery quest that unlocks the Traje de Luces armor. Can be accessed early game, but the armor is most suited for mid- to late-game.
'Traje de Luces' is the name of the standard matador outfit, which kinda fits Squidward Lucifer.
So, a couple of friends put 20 euros in the eShop to buy SMT IV. They were unsure at first but I tricked them into believing the game was in Spanish.
What started as a little joke with my poor Photoshop skills turned into unintentional trolling and now they're insanely angry at me.
And the only thing I care about is if the game is bug-ridden or not...
Index bankrupcy, distributing rights and YHVH knows what. Maybe unconscious hate for Europe as well.
I wouldn't give a single centavos to Atlus for this shameless mess, but I am way too interested in playing SMT IV.
They know English, it's just the disappointment of Nintendo and Atlus teasing it would be localized, then get it a year and a half later, digital-only and in English.
To make it worse most games are in EFIGS at the very least. It's a standard. I don't really care about playing in Spanish or English, but it's still offending.
Strength is useless except for a certain sword you can get in the endgame which requires 100 Strength to wield. If you want to go physical, pump up your Dexterity and Agility, since the damage done by physical skills benefits four times as much from your Dexterity stat than your Strength. It's stupid, I know, but that's how it works. I'd say magic and physical are equally viable, but magic is stronger in the early game.
Physical and gun skills are fucking great. Not the best early game since they're so stat dependent, but late game, you'll be getting critical hit on every attack and doing damage in the thousands (sometimes even multiple times for multiple hit attacks). I was killing some bosses in 1-2 turns.
Is it worth keeping my first Angel and trying to keep it throughout the entire game for the unique evolution chain it has in IV?
Is it just an idea for a future fun run?
Which demons, if any, are evolution exclusive in IV?
Yeah, just fused one with Taru/Sukukaja and Rakunda, both of them make for some great fusion fodder at this point. Shame money is so hard to come by outside of selling Somas/Bead Chains.
>FUCK YOU EARTH MOTHER!
isn't that the point of the chaos ending?
offer yourself up to the Mothers of The Schwarzwelt, seed a new earth, perish in their bosom.
come on man, this is pastebin stuff in the OP
none of it is new info, except for you eurofriends.
it's fine that you ask, but it's in the OP.
/smtg/ isn't completely barbaric that we don't consolidate commonly useful info.
Is Huskar that bad? I remember Huskars shitting on everyone when I started playing. Now that I've gone back to playing this I haven't seen any yet...
Huskar has been almost always terrible if all 10 players know how to play. He's just a tanky damagedealer with no teamfight power and 0 utility.
He's good at stomping bad players though.
I am so fucking asshurt that SMTIV is digital only with boatloads of DLC that I'm just not going to buy it. I think I will just wait and pirate this sometime in the future. Fuck giving atlus a cent of my money.
It took me awhile before I got the hang of recruiting in IV. It's an art.
A word of advice, don't always say "yes" to their demands for items/money. I've once had a demon join me because I refused all his demands, even.
>Buy from Amazon
>It takes a day or two to get here, not counting weekends
>Have to carry the cartridge around and if I forget it I won't get to play the game until I get home
>Have to change cards if I want to play some other game
>Buy from the eShop
>Can buy any time and any where
>It takes 30 minutes
>Have a 16 gb SD card that cost me 10 euros
>Have 9 full games on there and only have to browse to the home menu if I want to play another game
Pokémon Ruby special edition is the last 3DS physical game I'm buying and only because I pre-ordered it before I discovered the beauty of Digital purchases.
She never used Disaster Cycle on my winning run of her 2nd form.
She only used Wave of Death once, and brought my Tlaloc to 9 HP (Max around 330), which one Bead fixed instantly. Everybody else took 30ish damage due to Phys Resist.
Space Marine used Flame Shot and the occasional healing item. Dionysus used 3 Luster Candies then Agidyne Spam. Tlaloc used 1 Fog Breath then Maragion Spam. Kaiming Shou used Tetraja each time it wasn't up, otherwise Agilao.
Pretty easy, but had to keep resetting so that she didn't outspeed Kaiming Shou's Tetraja, and kill Dionysus with Mahama right off the bat.
I'm a Neutralfag and I second this.
>I'm a Neutralfag and I second this.
>Mem Aleph is technically a neutral demon
Mother still loves you, son of man.
Come unto my bosom, replenish the earth.
>moved to a new place and haven't bothered getting fiber and thus have not setup my wlan router
>3DS doesn't want to connect to my laptops wlan
>tfw I can't get SMT4
>you'll never suckle divine nourishment and intimacy at her pure bosom.
Why suckle from Merkahbah when you can suck from these puppies?
It's that time again.
Post your most favorite thing to read and hear in any MegaTen game
Goes like this:
>Favorite thing to see
>Your party fully recovered!
>Favorite thing to hear
Nope she doesnt have the nipples.
Because I was underleveled for the Oroboros fight (level 38) and took the lazy way and used cheats for x8 exp but even though I turnt the cheat off and disabled cheats on my emulator, I'm STILL getting lots of exp.
>implying having x8 exp is a bad thing
Joking aside, did you reset your emulator?
If that didn't work, did you try completely closing the emulator, and turning it back on?
Yeah, sources are the best.
>mfw resetting it stop the massive exp amounts
Based anons, thank you.
>favorite thing to see
>the animation when occult flash insta-kill is activated
>when demons have interesting attack animations in the 3d games
>fiends going clickety clack with their jaws
>favorite thing to hear
>sarasvati's twang whenever she does stuff, in nocturne at least
>mahamayuri's va in smt4
>lilith's va in smt4
>meguro's track for the dante fights
uhhh, this is hard
Always feels good to do that huh?
Did it actually work, then?
You're welcome Anon.
Make note of favorite things you like to read too, like...
>"______" wants to talk to you! Will you listen? Yes.
>Skill enhanced! "______" became "______"!
>Make note of favorite things you like to read too
>___ failed to detain the demon. ___ left.
demon whispering with a demon that talks in gibberish always gives me a chuckle
>I think I'm satisfied.
