New and need a deck or want to learn how to play? Check the pastebin.
The above games are free, so no need to worry about paying for cards you need. The above links are simulators, not games, so you need to do everything yourself.
BEFORE YOU ASK FOR ADVICE FOR YOUR DECK DO THE FOLLOWING:
● Try and keep your deck as close to 40 cards as possible. This increases your chances of drawing the cards you need.
● Google your Deck before you post it here. If your deck is/was competitive it will probably have topped an event.
● Most Yu-Gi-Oh Games have an option between Singles (Self explanatory, a single Game) and Matches (Best of 3). It is recommended that you play Matches, as Singles does not teach you how to use your Side Deck.
● After you've playtested your Deck and feel confident about your card choices, post your Deck here. Try suggestions before you trash them, even if someone recommends a weird tech choice. You don't know everything.
Considering the spike Shared Ride has seen it may not be the worst idea to invest in Mistake. Can still be gotten easily for $3 or less, reprinted in the same Tin Mega-Pack as Shared Ride and is arguably better for actually preventing Necloths from doing anything other than Ritual Summoning with whatever is in their hand.
Here for NaCL.
SECE leak already. I need my Rampenta and Three-Legged Zombie retrain.
Which card from NECH do you think it will be wise to buy soon when they are cheap? As in, Maxx C syndrome.
Also reminder that best girl won.
Qiuniu, Cosmic Dragon of Sound
Level 3 Divine Tuner Wyrm-Type Monster
You can only use each effect of “Qiuniu, Cosmic Dragon of Sound” once per turn.
(1) When this card you control is destroyed by battle or by card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Cosmic Dragon” monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position, except “Qiuniu, Cosmic Dragon of Sound”.
(2) When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 level 5 or lower “Cosmic Dragon” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.
Shen Cuu, Cosmic Dragon Purity
Level 10 Divine Wyrm-Type Synchro Monster
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Wyrm-Type monsters.
(1) If this card is Synchro Summoned: cards and effects cannot be activated.
(2) Once per turn: You can destroy 1 "Cosmic Dragon" monster you control, and if you do add 1 "Cosmic" card from your Graveyard to your hand.
(3) Once per turn: You can send 1 Wyrm-Type monster from your Deck to your graveyard: During this turn, this card is unaffected by other card effects.
Cosmic Dragon Ascension
Continuous Spell Card
(1) Once per turn: You can add 1 "Cosmic Dragon" monster from your Deck to your hand, and if you do destroy this card. (2) If this card is sent to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Cosmic Dragon" monster from your Deck.
Reverse Disk pendulum effect: heals for 500 OPT, or heals for 2000 if tribute summoned him.
Reverse Shell exactly the same, but burns.
>DIVINE outside the nostalgia gods
I wish Denko Sekka had 1600 ATK.
Or Electric Virus was level 4. But in the future I might shove Sekka in something.
And this is a bigger blowout than Zutara.
Even though it should've been a Sorato for maximum rage
Really, nobody won. Everyone suffered from reading this shit for years, the weeaboo population increased dramatically when they latched onto this shit, two shit imaginary girls got matched with two shit imaginary boys, autists seriously made pairings for this shit, the artist either got worse at drawing as time went on or the assistants with talent that he actually had all got fired, everything was awful.
But it's over now.
>Don't tell me they're doing a spin off with his kids and shit though
A new manga and spin off series is planned for 2015, and yeah about the kids. Kabuto seems to be the villain/antagonist.
Same shit as before
>DIVINE attribute on regular ass monsters
>Yang Zing support in the form of monsters when we've already got 9 Yang Zings and the entire archetype is based on 9 Sons of the Dragon
That second part could easily be ignored by Konami but it would set my autism a flare if they did that. The fucking DIVINE attribute is a dead give away though, who the fuck thought that was a good idea?
not to be a dick, but im not buying that until i get some sort of proof, you can't just expect me to believe you like that.
If real these are really good, Ching Chongs are my favorite petdeck and this will bump them up quite a bit. Divine is fucking crazy, and burn 2000 is 2crazy even for Jewnami, quite hard to believe.
>Everyone suffered from reading this shit for years
except those of us who aren't fucktards that never did read it.
The Kobe shekelstein ride never ends
Alright, let me rephrase, then.
Absurdly Good Multipurpose Floaters are defeating the point of any sort of counter-strategy or counterplay, which necessitates the need for stunshit to be in such absurd quantities in the game, which is in turn killing the game. There is minimal effort required to play the game in the current meta.
It's not the floating that's the problem, the problem is that everything good either is impossible to make go minus while at the same time generating massive plus for themselves.
That's it. There's no real cost for being as good as they are.
Hell, Monarchs are probably the most balanced shit there is. Most of their effects have some sort of trade-off, and their support cuts off Extra Deck use.
SO how do you counter dvine beasts such as obelisk? Furthermore I dont understand, does the card block effects of effect monsters altogether or only the ones in response or that directly target him?
Thank you for being patient.
Any way to make these guys faster and more annoying?
That's the fucking point you nimrod. It's SUPPOSED to be a bad thing. You do bad things so you can make good things better things. Simple trade-off logic.
Nice buzzword there.
Use little guys to pop shit. Summon Mecha-Garunix from grave to blow up the monsters and attack with 3K. That's all there is to it.
Eh, it's less Hands and more Shaddolls. Even BAs don't get me salty.
I just don't like the fact that Shaddolls just get to do whatever they like when they like. They have complete disregard for the normal order of things and turn the game's mechanics over and fuck them in the ass.
If it was a choice between this and Fusion being terrible forever, I'd rather Fusion be terrible forever.
>mfw denko sekka becomes double it's value after the ARGCS
>the game is broken
YGO isn't broken. It won't be broken until a deck has a COMPLETELY 0% chance of bricking. Every T0 deck that has ever existed could STILL brick, it might've been rare as shit or difficult, but it could happen.
Stop running Alius
Why do people love to throw Alius in eveyr HERO build ever?
Alius is shit
Alius has always been shit
He was only less shit in HERO Beat because that format was actually slow enough for HERO Beat to be playable and Gemini Spark and HERO Blast were actual good cards against Inzektors and Dino Rabbit.
Stop playing him in M-HERO though
He sucks shit in M-HERO and more fast paced version of HEROs
The deck you're playing is supposed to extend into damage very quickly through Mask Change and Xyzs
Alius does the opposite of that because he's a cloggy piece of shit that forces you to prioritize your normal summons for no reason making it that much harder to play your other best card, aside from Shadow Mist, Bubbleman
And notice how you suddenly feel obligated to play Miracle Fusion, another card that is NOT good in M-HERO, because you play Alius?
Miracle Fusion is shit in M-HERO
You actually want cards in your graveyard
You don't want to banish things because Miracle Fusion is piss poor slow compared to Mask Change
Stop playing Alius
Stop playing Miracle Fusion
Pray that Stratos comes off the banlist some time soon
Normie beat down is fun. People don't expect it and are often not equipped to deal with it effectively. Slap a bunch of generic spells and traps, bit of atk boost equips and run over everything in your path
I just admitted running normie beat down, I'm clearly a shitter and am going to be no help here
My favourite deck is currently Signer Dragon deck featuring Black wings for gods sake
>allowing cheaters in tourneys
Fiancheaters pls go
Did you somehow get unbanned?
Raven not seem like a good idea but Kuribandit is not bad. The problem with the deck right now is hand size. A lot of banishment, but great field presence, maybe Yamato Dragon can help with that.
Who are you?
Make the challonge soon
>Play against 3.5 axis FF
>First two games are neck and neck, he wins G2 I win G1
>G3 my opening field is Machina Fortress with Gearframe attached, 2 Kaiser Colosseum, 1 backrow, Shadow Feeler in gy
GOD damn my inner child is conflicted by this picture
Come on man I thought we had a thing going here.
Here have a r3, tgu, or manju since I don't burn my normal summon on saff. Stormforth and Soul Exchange are a bitch but it's also not that hard to bring out a 2nd or 3rd Saff and the big 3 doesn't run them much.
So is it bad if you main Spell Shattering Arrow now?
It's only useful against Qliphs, so if you're playing IRL there's no fucking point since your locals will be lucky to have one richfag with enough dosh to run the jewbots, and there are other (admittedly less-effective) outs to Qliphs that already are maindecked.
If you're playing online, there's still no point in maindecking it unless you're playing Singles like an idiot. Keep it in the side, though.
Luckier? what is this g-....
Yes goy, it's simply luck, there's nothing more to it.
Are you perhaps interested in more cardboard to increase your chances? It all boils down to statistical chance you know.
>Nekroz keeps losing every single nip vid I watch except for petdeck ygopro bullshit.
>10/12 decks in tourney lists I see are nekroz
Is this just fluke after fluke? What's the worst nekroz matchup?
I use chacra in my synchro deck, admittedly its just because I need something that tributes a monster with an odd name I can't remember so I can SS my Rose Fairy but the secondary effect of defending backrow forms free summon is cool. I don't think I've ever set it as a spell though unless my opponent is really intensive on trashing my back row
That's not true, though, except if you mean the secondary effects of the spells/traps. they have many ways of getting off their effects that are quite relevant right now, even the secondary effects will see some play due to all the msts everywhere.
>speaking like this about the overlords
>They auto lose to side.
Just like people said Shaddolls and Burning Abyss did because "m-muh SIM".
When will you stupid sacks of shit ever learn that "dies to side" is a moronic argument? Are you that set on wallowing in your own idiocy?
I used to play gishki and I'm trying to come back for nekroz but it's just pstd all over again. Sure, these guys are consistent as hell and have all these great effects but is the same issue that shuts them down. If you can't resolve the spells your deck can't function. They die to every single floodgate and you can't possible open all your removal all the time and then you have all these new monster-floodgates and even the old ones still fuck them in the butt.
I suppose that the hits on shaddolls made them too unreliable to compete but then I see qlips full powered and able to run all the floodgates maindeck and just vanilla beat/grind out nekroz that I don't understand why everyone and their mom jumped ship into them.
The Monarch Forced March
Once during this turn, if you would Tribute a monster(s) you control for a Tribute Summon, you can Tribute up to 2 spell/trap your opponent controls as if they were a monster(s) you control. You can only activate 1 "The Monarch Forced March" per turn. During the turn you activate this card, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.
I have created a monster.
A monster that will top at Regionals
Instant +2, +3 if they have Vanity's up and 2 other face-downs.
The inability to touch the ED is actually worth it for this card, but depending on what Monarch you pull, that's some OTK enabling waiting to happen.
Karakuri Geargia or pure geargia?
yeah, they shit on them in Japan with their Heavy Storm, unlimited backrow, double DAD, unlimited Super Poly, and their Stick & Chair shit so logically it'll be the same here too :)
Not gonna lie, I laughed really hard at that pic.
Man, even if Qliphs somehow beat them out with the triple MST triple Meme Games -> Dragon that is standard in Shaddolls, even IF Qliphs somehow take a tourney away from them, Shaddolls will simply start maining Twisters and Dust Tornadoes and shit to deal with them. Also Shaddolls CONTINUED to shit on them even after all of that stuff you referred to was destroyed.
>Winda doesn't stop Pendulum Summoning
>Tribute Summoned Qliphs (aka: Any Qliph that would be battling) are immune to Neph
>Maindecks Skill Drain @ 3 as well as Chalice in 2s and 3s, making all the monster effects worthless until they hit the grave.
>Can easily run Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror and/or Soul Drain to ignore Shaddoll grave effects.
>Only out to Tool is to Dragon, Cursed Seal, or MST it, 1 of which will have to wait until the opponent's next turn, by which point the player will almost always have another tool ready.
Yeah, no. Jewpuppets don't keep up with Jewbots well at all. You might have a good Game 1 at best, but the only way you can reasonably win the match is if the Qliph player is bad or has the one brick hand in the entire deck on Game 2.
I'm with you that "X card is bad because Y card counters it" is retarded, but only a complete ignoramous doesn't build his deck and select his card choices with every counter in mind.
I run 3 MST 3 double cyclone 3 twister so I don't give a shit about macro cosmos, vanity emptiness, mistake, etc.
What other cards can people side against Necloths?
Shared Ride. Even though its almost a glorified Neko Mane King.
You're gonna have to resolve Cursed Seal twice.
Mind Drain also stops faggots from trying to live longer than they business living with Valkyrus
pls r8 and make suggestions m8s
especially for my extra deck and side deck
That feel when you're down to 600 lifepoints and your opponent has completely overextended and has 5 big dick monsters on the field
that feel when Vylon swarm into Omega and SHArk
That feel when you opponent tries to do something and is instantly negated and destroyed via Omega
that feel when immediate surrender right after that last feel
Playing Vylons can be pretty good sometimes
Fuck off, Bonbun. That doesn't even have my face on it.
Y'all down to get fucking scrubbed up tonight? Didn't think so.
Okay. Here we go.
17 monsters is the correct ratio for Blackwings but you have the monster line up all wrong. Drop a Sirocco, Vayu and Kochi. Add Steam, Zephyros and another Gale (Steam lets you go into Leo off of Shura or if you normal summon Steam and special Bora. Zephyros gives access to insane combos and is the best Blackwing monster hands down, and it's retarded to not run the second Gale).
3 Black Sonic is just straight up bad. I run 1 as tech so if you want to do that, it's up to you. Battle traps haven't been good for a while. 3 Icarus Attack is a bad ratio to run alongside 2 Delta Crow. Either go 2/2 or 3/1 with Icarus as the card at 3. No Solemn Warning upsets me.
Mystical Space Typhoon is a card that's better off in the side since you want unfair trades with Icarus Attack rather than simplifying the field with a 1 for 1.
God, this whole deck is a mess and I can be here all night explaining why. Just net deck me, experiment with that and change it according to how you feel. pic related.
Easier said than done, remember thatodd eyes, summoner's art are all played in 3 in space jews, along with numerous means of retrieving tool with advantage occasionally, so you're dealing with more than 3 tools here. All in all there is a maximum of about 15 cards that end in a tool becoming a problem again due to returning it to hand, or it being activated following the activation of that card, depending on what your ratios and choices are, not counting things like pot of duality which only returns tools (which is a 2 of as well for the most part). Space jews depend on your destroying them, not to say that this is the be all end all of how they will tower over dark jews but the point is "just mst them or dragon them" is not a solution, they have many outs to your mst and outs to your outs as well that they can access more efficiently than you can access yours as a shaddoll player.
Spirit Beasts have a lack of OPT clause on their effects/can abuse Macro and Fissure. Youkai are just weird stun that's waiting for Divine Wind to ever go to 3.
it doesn't matter how many searchers they have when you destroy all 3 tools unless they run garbage like qlimate change. Meanwhile shaddolls can dish out a lot of damage now with el-shaddoll fusion so if qliphorts don't open broken they will more than likely just get OTK'd by shaddolls.
Also you can side ceasefire and chain strikes against them to sack easy wins, its easy racking up chain links in shaddolls.
royal tribute to 3
necrovalley to 1
>its easy racking up chain links in shaddolls.
>Stare at the deck too long
>Suddenly your opponent is on Chain Link 5 and you didn't even do anything nor get a real chance to respond.
Fuck that deck.
Yes, i meant pot of wealth, but fair enough, we can count that out. Remember that there is still the trap, 3 equip,3 SA, 3 tools and 2-3 odd eyes regardless, as far as the "how many do you need to hypothetically pop if they return their shit", which won't likely happen, but does give you an idea of how many times they can possibly recur tool. With pot of wealth, if we are talking universally here, and since i can only play online, as far as i am concerned, they are significantly better.
Also duality is pretty good in space jews, by the way
qlimate change is good though.
Also I don't use the term Skank.
I don't want to wait though.
It's too far away and i just want to play bad games all day.
I already promised the other anon friday though
I was too lazy to rename it after I downloaded it

That's what he gets for not running a Outstanding Dog Marron
>Running 34 Monsters
What the actual fuck was his strategy?
I was only 14 years old
I loved Hoban so much, I had all his decks same rarity.
I pray to Hobans parents every night before bed, thanking them for the hero they have made.
“Hoban is love” I say. “Hoban is life”
My dad hears me and calls me a nerd
I knew he was just jealous of my obsession with Hoban
I called him a scrub
He slaps me and sends me to go to sleep
Im crying now, and my face hurts
I lay in bed and its as dark as Allure of Darkness
A breeze moves towards me
I feel something touch me
I am so happy
He whispers into my ear "Good luck, have fun”
He grabs my deck box with his powerful arg winning hands and pulls out my deck
I begin a duel with him
He goes first
My hand sucks, but i do it for Hoban
I start tearing as I see him play 3 reckless greed
I do not chain my trap stun
I want to please Hoban
My dad walks in as I'm getting OTK'd
Hoban looks him straight in the eyes and says. “GG”
Hoban leaves through my window
Hoban is love, Hoban is Life
>fiendish chain a tgu
Didn't even try to overlay with the math or anything, what the fuck. I mean I know overlaying with mathematician is icky as fuck but why scoop to fucking geargia so soon.
How do you guys resist buying cards?
I really wanna buy a Virgil, but it's gonna drop, right?
But the opposite could happen, Virgil rising, if the next major event shows every BA deck running Virgil, right?
I only buy cards Neo New Sawatari approves of.
He is /dng/ incarnate
He is the true savior of Yugioh
>He is /dng/ incarnate
You know...you're actually right.
>Comes up with good card ideas to counter specific decks, but...
>Plays like shit
>Doesn't set BTS when it would win him the game
Shingo is the hero /dng/ needs.
>Playing against Shaddol player
>Uses Super Poly to summon Winda
>Should have summoned Construct instead
>Most likely would have won if he did
>Couldn't summon another Construct because he already used 2
>And he only had 2
Why the fuck would you play Shaddols and not have 3 Constructs?
Nothing personal kid
you don't enjoy competitive play? Shit man I'd swap locals with you in a heartbeat, my locals is filled with fire kings, bujins, satellas and card salad shit.
Auger's good, it's nice that you can attack then summon him mp2 so he's not totally awful mid/late game. Either way though, I feel he's staple at 3 as long as geargiagear stays limited.
I never tested attacker, I don't like how his effect doesn't include himself (especially when most backrow is chainable anyways) and I don't see a lot of relevance in being a 19 beater.
>and I don't see a lot of relevance in being a 19 beater.
Well, it's just that I've been playing a lot of Shaddoll players I guess.
They have a harder time forcing me to go into the Extra because of Attacker beating down Lizard and crashing into Dragon.
And yeah, backrow chaining, but now at least you can force them to use it if they don't want it to go to waste.
Normal summons are pretty important in geargia though, especially with auger. I'd be disappointed in setting attacker (though it is cool that most the time you can bluff it as armor) for a turn just to flip it into chainable backrow.
and I think it'd just be better to rely on armor's 19 ass, then attacker's dick. Arsenal boosting himself comes in handy too sometimes.
adding the artifact engine to have more backrow and tool hate has made me add pleadies, gaia and michael which made me reduce the r4 to only skyblaster which is pretty much the only r4 I ever needed
the other guy I could drop is leoh but that nigga can outright stall out the game against BA
stalling out against BA is such a pipe dream
they always got an out or two in their deck and most like you dug deeper so youll deck out first and so on
and they can still make giga brilliant, then acid golemn or poke you to death with nightmare sharks
>I don't play the best deck because I like having fun xddd
1 Sheckel, 3 Nephilim, 2 Midrash. then you move on from there. I've tested and 2 really is overkill it's a good card but needs a hand requirement to pull off, + japs even ran it at one before they got raped by the banlist.
this is what I have right now
side deck is mostly placeholders and stuff I had in the original version of the deck
I am still not convinced on the 3 construct argument but if I have to add the third one, what card should I take out?
that's the exact ratio I have in shaddoll artifacts
Think of all the situations Construct comes in handy to get certain cards off the field. Now think about you only running 2.. then again you're running 2 falcon, but i still don't think that makes up for it.
And your extra is all over the god damn place.
>1 chain disappearance
>2 fucking battle traps, in this day and age
You of all poeple should know better.
You could at least go 3 crow or 3 dimension ground to combat grave use on your opponent's turn. You're also not side decking spell shattering arrow even though qliphort will be legal on DN. Also i don't like this glow up buulb meme but to each their own.
Drop either an xyz or a synchro, whichever sees the least use, you should know ho you play the deck,.
Here's my current post-NECH saffira build. Still being tweaked. 3 Dogra is a pain but entire theme is to get Saff out as soon as humanly possible.
Bulb is to make Arc Light. Milling is important, you want djinns in grave, you want Honest in grave (to grab with Saff and essentially become undestroyable by battle it's also your main anti-Qli play to recycle Honest infinitely), you want rituals in grave to grab with Rites and to protect Saff with, and of course Scarms hitting the grave is good.
>I want to make a Saffira focused deck.
I will assist you in any way humanely possible. This deck is my absolute favorite I've played, albeit often times frustrating.
This one honestly looks like a pretty damn good build. I just wish there was a safer way to throw Herald into the grave, but this looks like it works until Konami gives us non-shit ritual support coughcoughmanjucough
>side deck is mostly placeholders and stuff I had in the original version of the deck
the only thing I gave any thought was scythe and I doubt it's worth it
that side is pure shit and stuff I wasn't sure to outright get rid of the original main
I don't give a shit about DN but yeah I have those spell shattering arrows IRL
I am testing glow up bulb
so far heavy monster hands with bulb are the worst but any other monster in that kind of hand would be equally awful
hm construct is indeed the most useful and leoh is the one I make the least but I still can't make my mind
I'll probably drop rose since that fucker never seems to be able to land safely but goddamn do I fucking now I'll regret it
I was also considering armory arm as another out to killer but godfucking dammit extra deck to 20 fucking when
if majoras mask 3d got done I can dream for a larger extra deck
yeah fuck blackrose
Agreed, if Veilers become more common in the meta or there is a risk of a skill drain that 3k hit is scary. But even if you have to pay 6k, if you get out 1-sided vanity's saffira it's going to be tough for them to get over it.
It's been my main petdeck for a while, I thought Qlis would be the end for it but I can do decently against them. Necloth meta I think will kill it though. People will use stuff to block releaser (book of eclipse already popping up) and veilers are becoming more common in OCG tops.
play a third math. Shaddols lack good normal summons, and he's the best one. Especially since you're not so reliant on wasting a turn setting hedgehog anymore now that you have access to more fusions than you'd even want.
I like how you're just playing 2 constructs. A lot of people seem to think el shaddol automatically means you'll go into construct more like in the 3 super poly days, without taking into account that you can just fucking run out of lights and that was never a problem with super poly.
I was running 3 math but I cut one to make it 40 cards
I don't think the normal is all that important with sanctum around but I could also drop 1 sinister shadow games for the extra math
right now I prefer the 3 sinister games to shit on backrow
Why is every cunt and their mom playing Evilswarm with ten billion backrow cards like Vanity's/Macro Cosmos/other gay shit, and why does it feel so good to grind out a game with them, and end up winning it?
Anyone think vanity shouldn't be maindecked anymore in anything other than Qli?? It's fucking useless againts qlipoth since pendulum summon is inherent and sometimes become a double edged sword if your opponent have trap stun.
I hate Evilswarm despite them being not so good right now, something about Ophion and the other shit they have really rambles my jambles.
They're braindead shit that sits on backrow forever.
It always feels so good to win VS them, no matter what you're playing.
You can also try my complete fuckery of a satellar knight/saffira build. In theory all that light attribute floating and r4 into chain sounds good for both sides but it never works out that way. It's sad too because the combos are fun.
that's like saying "I only run 2 karma cut in burning abyss, because I'm pretty sure that's what 3 pwwb is there for". Foolish is staple in shaddols, yea. So is 3 math.
yea you definitely shouldn't cut games. I'd probably cut an ignition for 3rd math. 3 ignition i find to be awkward since taking an artifact out of your deck and setting it is fucking suffering
>lost a light to fuse with
>lost a sanctum target
I mean, sure you can do something cute like shadow games to dump dragon and pop moraltach on their turn, but that's just not that great.
If you ever seen an Evilswarm player IRL smile at them. They're so poor they have to play a terrible anti-meta deck and hope to sack a win against even their good match-ups.
Truly a sad existence.
Ah. It's a poorfag Ebola deck. I see now. Truly the Brazillians of Yu-Gi-Oh.
What other decks are for poorfag cunts who can't think? Lightsworn aren't super expensive, are they? Lightsworn players are always sacky cunts who always manage to gay you in some way shape or form.
I get your point but ignition is also an out to floodgates and another way to shit on tool and the scales
what I mean is that if I drop ignition I'd replace it with an mst
I might end up doing what you say but right now I think that dropping chaos sorcerer for the third math is better
Not many different ones, pre-nech I ran a good bit more BA and relied more on mills. Pre-BA I just used TGU and more protection stuff like lances and played a lot of stall to get my shit setup. The deck has gotten a lot lot faster over the past few months.
Become enlightened with knowledge.
I'll go with this then
god I know I'll miss blackrose
Traps are the weakest cards in the deck.
- Sun Tzu
I like how right before an event, hoban writes these articles with just enough information for people to walk away feeling like they learned something, while keeping out shit that would give him a disadvantage.
>Burning Abyss couldn’t really deal with established fields
he mentions this problem and the new monsters BA got, but not fire lake or how it changes this problem. Fire lake is a recyclable out to huge fields. I guarantee you guys that the decks that top Rayleigh this weekend will play 3, and hoban may write an article saying "I TALKED BEFORE ABOUT HOW BA COULDN'T DEAL WITH MULTIPLE THREATS, WELL LOOK NOW I CAN!"
>A big deck with floodgates has a dominant advantage over all other possible combinations of deck type and trap type.
>And with that, we have solved the trap card paradox. We now have a way to consistently beat all other decks.
gg, hoban just solved YGO.
Everyone else can go home now.
>it took you filthy gaijins this long to catch up to the Overlords
Though it sounds stupid to me. If you can spend 1 card to stop a multiple card play from your opponent you're coming out ahead. By their logic MSTing a Tool isn't better than having a card to advance your own strategy. Hope you can yolo faster than Q!iphorts.
Now screenshot me faggot.
Why would you purposefully want to help the competition?
I know, I actually meant I like how he writes his articles this way.A few paragraphs just to explain to bad players shit they should already know (like seriously, of course combo decks that play floodgates is best combination, we've known this since D R A G O N S) while not giving away anything that significantly helps.
I guess his articles help people help themselves, rather than just saying 3 fire lake is the way to go.
Everyone cheats in YGO, people shouldn't be surprised by now.
You can tell yugioh is the only thing keeping hoban alive.
>you can tribute this card
That's a cost, right?
I just used Breakthrough Skill on Kuribandit in YGOPro and my opponent was still able to tribute Kuribandit but he didn't get the effect because Breakthrough negates its effect even in the graveyard, right?
>Not staying a step ahead of the meta
It's the scrub's faults for expecting the strongest deck choice for an event to be spoonfed into their tiny scrubby mouths.
The implication is this, It's two weeks before a big tournament, rock is the most popular deck.
Paper counters it, but isn't played as much because of cost or something
Scissors exists, but is not played because it has a shit matchup with rock.
So a standard metagamer picks paper, assuming that the most played deck is rock, but too many people have the same thought, and paper is the most popular deck at this event, thus making scissors the best
Its just second degree meta gaming
But what if people see beyond this simple exercise and the majority take scissors expecting paper to be the most used deck at such a high stakes tournament? Do you then take rock? Men prefer to take rock, and the vast majority of tourny goers will be men so do we then take paper on that decision?
That's not what he said in the quote at all.
As the tourney goes on, the Rocks start dropping in number because Paper is beating them all.
If the Scissors guy manages to survive the early rounds, he'll be in a good spot because most of the people still around him are playing Paper now, which is a favorable matchup for the Scissors guy.
>Shitting on anti-meta decks with anti-anti-meta decks that lose to meta decks, because nobody is playing yesterday's meta because everyone thinks everyone else is playing anti-meta so the only good option is rogue shit
Can we just go back to D R A G O N S?
Why would scissors ever survive the early rounds when there is twice as many rocks?
If a rock player "survives the early rounds" scissors is fucked again.
The quote is just second degree metagame, seriously
Uh guys, how the hell do you defeat a The Tyrant Neptune that was tribute summoned using Hardened Armed Dragon and Obelisk?
Cannot be targetted because of Obelisk's effect.
Oh well, i missed it and i just got defeated by a Tyrant Neptune that was tribute summoned with HAD and Obelisk
Oh yeah, Honest
Are those the only cards that can use the opponent's monsters as part of the cost and that do not target?
The original moon wasn't fucking subtle at all, end of the day it's still a fucking evil looking motherfucker about to crash into Earth
The new rendering just makes it look creepier, by adding more detail and giving it a kike nose, which is a good thing
I dun like it. 3ds makes everything look so choppy. It's insane how far behind it is in display tech nowdays. My phone was cheaper and has a 1080p screen, much faster processor, and twice the battery life, get it together Nintendo.
The flip thing burns me so often with saff.dek. I can beat Shaddolls and Qliphorts with a fully knit out saffira and then get absolutely destroyed by Ghosttrick because of all the non-targeting flipping they do.
The archetype of Crossover Souls is "Sephira", an Xyz-focused culmination of the DT archetypes, who also have cross-archetype monsters (Sephira-Shaddoll, Sephira-Ritual Beast, Sephira-Stellarknight and Sephira-Nekroz Xyz monsters).
"culmination of DT archetypes" sort of implies that they'll have Xyz boss monsters of key DT tribes. So that means Xyz Construct, Kannahawk, Trishula etc... which means they COULD be a bunch of Xyzs of different Ranks to match
Of course Konami could do the incredibly lazy thing of just making the new versions Rank 4 like they did with Evilswarm but they could also make them more like Evilswarm, as in shit
The guy actually gets most of his sources from NeoArcardia forums, which are actually legit, he just refuses to post the source here because I'm sure he just wants to be the first person to post the information even though he's clearly just getting it from somewhere else and is an anonymous fucking poster which makes his effort for naught since its not like anyone is going to notice him
>Xyz archetype that uses different ranks
We both know that shit NEVER works
Just make them another rank 4 deck, that's tried and true and not gimmicky crap. Besides, they more or less stopped making non-rank 4 xyz monsters altogether.
>We both know that shit NEVER works
Full Powered Wind-Ups were a thing you know, and don't even fucking try to backtrack and say that their combos were mostly just Hunter Loops and Rank 4s because we both know that there was a format right after March 2012 where Wind-Ups still had a bonkers OTK that actually used all the relevant Zen Wind-Ups which was neato (except Zenmaines, he was shit at that time)
>that actually used all the relevant Zen Wind-Ups which was neato
Except that's a lie because Zenmaioh was shit at the time because the chainable backrow was all much better.
Thinking back on shit like Wind-Ups and Mermail formats, it's fucking amazing that Vanity's Emptiness took as long as it did to catch on.
OCG Wind-Ups have everything they had in September 2012 here. They just do fuck all because they're too inconstent and the slow grinding for pluses the deck does is too weak now that most decks can explode harder and way more safely and have just generally way better cards.
That's probably because they had actual competition in March where as in September they just ran roughshod over everything except Macro Rabbit on the rare occasion until we got Abyss Rising and Mermails.
Destroy all Spell/Trap cards on the field. If this card is sent to the graveyard by a card effect, you can destroy 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls. You cannot set cards nor conduct your battle phase the turn you activate this card.
Does this fix the TCG?
Oh hey, there's a decent amount of Northwest dng.
Even with mermails, windups were the clear best deck. And I'm pretty sure macro rabbit didn't exist before mermails (during september format, iirc joe gio topped with it when inzektors were a thing).
>tfw people think the tcg needs to be "fixed"
Ok, here are the best decks of each format since heavy got banned
>September last year
D R A G O N S
A bunch of different decks topped throughout this format, but lets just say HAT or gears
In 4 formats we've had 1 backrow-based deck considered best of its format, and even then there was still a lot that competed.
Yeah I'm overstating necloth, but a vast majority of tops will be necloth, and its not fun to play that mirror at all, and the deck isn't very skillful.
Also I don't think jews autolose to BA as such, but it will be a pretty tough matchup with all BA's pwwb/raigeki break/msts or virgil raping tool or skill drain or similar. On that note, I don't think qliphorts will have too much impact on the meta, they'll be stronger than tellars, but shaddolls will still be top, with BA in 2nd.
The only cards we don't have/might not get for Necloths is Heavy Storm and Nyarla, and the deck plays perfectly fine without Heavy Storm. The only downside about not having Nyarla is just losing the Turn 1 Valky play but even then, it's not totally bad
There's nothing stopping Necloths from dominating here at all
Tournament play shouldn't be fun. It should be tedious, grueling and mind-numbing, to reward both pure technical skill and endurance.
That's why the expert players loved dragon rulers so much. The mirror was both extremely skilkful and very drawn out and not fun.
I understand everything now. I now will become a master at the balanced water ritual monsters of infinite searching and discarding.
There are some completely garbage mirrors though, like chronomaly, dark world, spellbooks etc. that are just zero fun to play and way too luck-based. Mirrors like march rulers or shaddolls are alright though, but k-money would find some way to screw it up.
All of them run 1 Heavy Storm, because it really helps them shit out their rituals.
I am no expert since I never topped any relevant tournament, but those small things make them not look as good. Not that they won't be tier 1 or anything because of that, but it may and probably will affect their presence in tournaments.
