New and need a deck or want to learn how to play? Check the pastebin.
The above games are free, so no need to worry about paying for cards you need. The above links are simulators, not games, so you need to do everything yourself.
BEFORE YOU ASK FOR ADVICE FOR YOUR DECK DO THE FOLLOWING:
● Try and keep your deck as close to 40 cards as possible. This increases your chances of drawing the cards you need.
● Google your Deck before you post it here. If your deck is/was competitive it will probably have topped an event.
● Most Yu-Gi-Oh Games have an option between Singles (Self explanatory, a single Game) and Matches (Best of 3). It is recommended that you play Matches, as Singles does not teach you how to use your Side Deck.
● After you've playtested your Deck and feel confident about your card choices, post your Deck here. Try suggestions before you trash them, even if someone recommends a weird tech choice. You don't know everything.
● !NightBlast is back ;)
Nobody gives a fuck about current price shit with these new spoilers but if the Ritual stuff in BA sees serious play expect Djinn Releaser of Rituals to go up even higher.
And again, keep an eye on Maxx "C", Daigusto Emeral, and Lavalval Chain. Preparation of Rites too, if the BA Ritual stuff is so good it makes people not want to wait for its reprint.
Those new Malebranches are hot, thank you based Konami.
Also, Secacus Regional tomorrow, if anybody is going I'm the handsome guy wearing a cat t-shirt playing Burning Abyss on a spellground.
Ultimate Rare obviously
Secret is eh.
Super is the poorman's investment but I guess. that tends to sell more because it will be the cheapest of the bunch if it spikes.
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 6 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: you can banish this card from your Graveyard, then discard 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand; add 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Good and Evil of the Burning Abyss" once per turn.
>Doesn't send from deck
>• If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 monster on the field; banish it until the End Phase.
M A T H M A N
Seriously, a card like this just makes the Mathematician toolbox for almost any deck that much stronger, and makes the Nekroz mirrors that much more interesting since it gives the player who opts for the Math build more tools to answer Released boards. It's probably not that big a deal, but it's still a pretty interesting option
>Still can tribute Releaser and use Releaser from the grave
Releaser plays confirmed possible.
Shame that it does not send from deck, but the second effect still searches out the ritual. 2 BAs/1 BA and a releaser aren't really a hefty cost.
>inb4 people saying it's shit because it isn't a foolish x2
Is that just a line sketch of Dante on the left?
How fucking lazy is that?
I don't give a damn if it kinda fits, with Dante looking all good and holy with all that white.
It looks terrible.
So do you think the reprint is gonna drop the prices of fetches?
>• If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 1 “Burning Abyss” Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to the Graveyard.
Magica de Trampa because Magic or Trap you fucking shitposter. And bfore you say ANYTHING it's FUCKING Italian, not Spanish
BA just has even more reason to use the Math toolbox now since Math->releaser automatically meets the summon requirements and gives you a vanity. The new BA that dumps S/T also makes this card less ded, and prep +S/T dumping guy will be God tier synergy
If you control a monster that is not a "Burning Abyss" monster, destroy this card. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Cagna, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss" per turn, and only once that turn.
● If you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 1 "Burning Abyss" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to the Graveyard.
Do you have an extra chromosome? Are you missing a lobe?
Shocks in Dragon's Maze didn't drop them too much, but they'll probably settle back around $10 which is reasonable for lands that were easily 6-7x that before Khans. Strand is the only really expensive one right now, and that's just because of Jeskai/UW Heroic hype
Guys, I've been trying for days to make Shaddolls work for the new list. But Qliphorts, Burning Abyss and Nekroz (even fucking Hermits) are way too versatile in their playstyles. Should I join the dark side and take up on 2 of these decks, and if so, which ones?
I'm still looking out for bloodstained mires but I wouldn't mind getting another wooded foothill or 2 for cheap. People here just don't have much shit for trade that has value and don't want cash for their cheaper stuff.
Thankfully I have just about all of the U/W stuff and I can now try and foil it out.
Then again the spell is Releaser friendly and searches more BAs.
Name one monster who can defeat Barrel Rock
Protip: you can't
So the releaser plays are confirmed possible.
Ritual spell searches out the ritual and lets you discard a BA.
Cagna allows you to dump one spell or trap, meaning either access to the ritual (next turn), or consistent access to fire lake turn 2-3 or so. Having considered this, it's quite unlikely that releaser plays are going to happen withing the span of the first or even the second of your own turns.
Farfa allows you to target and banish one monster on the field (face up or otherwise) until the end phase, making Vanity's fiend strictly inferior to majesty's fiend, and allowing greater OTK potential, and clean, no fuss, no consequence temporary removal in general, which is considerably significant in the Shaddoll matchup.
Libic allows you to take out flying c (so does farfa) if you have a cir or graff and a rubic in your hand/grave, and has synergy with mathematician in general which very well migh be a precious asset come nekroz.
Releaser is easily accessible via either scarm,TGU, or Dante mills in general.
Having considered this, what do you think? Any thoughts you guys want to share?
So, with Malacoda would BA survives Nekroz? They have no way to search the ritual except by sending it to the graveyard and use Dante effect to grab it. Also, the new BA might get teched by nekroz since you can use Mathman or Armageddon knight to banish opponent released ritual monster.
Burning Abyss confirmed tier 0.
I just want to post this so that in a little bit when people say "But /dng/ said the new BA cards are bad xD" we can link them to this post to shut them up.
Special message to Future /dng/ when you are reading this:
You could technically send it to the yard and then use Preparation for both Malacoda and the ritual, but I'm not sure good ratios allow that because Malacoda is really dead on its own, so running many is a bad idea, but if you run 1/2 and you draw it/them the Preparations are dead.
>Banish a level 4 or lower with Farfa
>Summon Leviair, detach, and essentially big eye your opponent's monster
Holy fucking shit.
This matters plenty for the mirror match, and for the shaddoll matchup, your opponent has to take into account that there's esssentially a fucking level 3 only big eye in your extra deck.
What fucking BA is going to be on the board for you to snatch with Leviair in the mirror and why didn't you take into account that it would explode immediately because Leviair isn't a bA?
>playing shitty ass Gemini Normal Mash with the new shit that got released
>get matched up with Qliphoth 4 times in a row
>dominate every single one of them
As long as Qliphs don't open SD, they're not so bad. Them opening multiple Tools/Summoner Arts is a nightmare, but you can deal with their resources otherwise.
Same deal with proxys.
>You fucking liar
What are you talking about?
>Also, why are you using BA proxys while using current list?
I just want to get a feel of how they work.
So I guess turboing out a Malacoda on Turn 1 isn't going to save BA, because it won't work.
Best case scenario, double Dante with a Cagna in there somewhere, getting 2 Good&Evil in the grave, then Fire Lake on the opponent's turn to Snatch back 1 Good&Evil, and using the other to tutor Malacoda.
Too fucking slow. Yes, Dante will have crazy-fast access to Releaser/Demolisher with TGU, but there isn't enough speed to back up the Ritual.
I do like that the Ritual turns any monster in your hand into a RotA once you mill it. That'll be a big boon.
And I do see Libic seeing more use than people give it credit for, because it's another happy mill target.
I guess my response is cautious optimism. The spell is good. The Malebranche's are a slight disappointment, even if they are better than the last batch.
When did anyone say Cagna or Farva was bad? Nigga, I translated cartel to you guys and right off the bat people said they were strong.
And then we found out that the BA ritual is ARA.
> but there isn't enough speed to back up the Ritual.
Cagna can be dumped to get a ritual tutor, scarm grabs djinn, then if you dont have another r.spell in grave, next turn: cagna to dump ritual again, send a dante to the grave and grab the ritual, play the ritual, and voila, releaser'd malacoda in two turns in a worst case scenario ( because let's face it, you are going to be dumping the ritual spell early on with dante depending on how many copies it ends up being played at). That isn't exactly sanic mode but it sure aint slow either.
Okay? There are other decks than Nekroz you stupid shithead.
And yeah, they're ALWAYS going to have their battle fader and ALWAYS have the requirments for it.
Yeah no, shut the fuck up and suck my fucking cock.
>And yeah, they're ALWAYS going to have their battle fader and ALWAYS have the requirments for it.
Let's realize what deck we're talking about before we just randomly say things like that
Your stupidity is showing, stop embarassing yourself.
A good Nekroz player will always have Valkyrus ready in hand when facing OTK deck. The cost? It's like you never play Nekroz dumb cunt. Valkyrus cost was never a problem.
>all dat delusion
the saga continues.
I'm so glad everyone knows they're going up against an OTK deck to search out a card they may not use turn 1.
I wish I was psychic. Of my 5 cards in hand, instead of setting up a Trish next turn or a Releaser play let me just search out my Swift Scarecrow.
See, I can meme too!
I read the cards over a few times, then forget about them because they don't mean shit to me until release.
Go for it. BA is still going to be up there as one of, if not the best deck in this upcoming format. The deck is now even more explosive and has toolbox.
Dude stop, for one you don't "setup" a Releaser play, if you mill Releaser, you're going to summon a Released monster with it in that same turn, and 2, using Valky to cycle into another Valky is one of the most common as fuck plays Nekroz can do right now even if they don't have Nyarla in the TCG. It's OK to admit when we're wrong sometimes
>because they don't mean shit to me until release.
It must be feel awesome getting every card expensive in place of watch OCG and begin to think which decks are gonna be used so you can get the materials ready.
BA are dead when Nekroz come. Just accept it. Yeah sure, they have access for released Ritual but they have no fucking way to protect it. There are 2 Dark hole, 1 Raigeki ,1 book of moon,3 Mathman(+tackle Crusader) , book of eclipse , Compulsory etc.
Nekroz don't give a fuck about OTK since they have Valkryus and Trish wreck BA when they have no way to make their hand 0. Just sell the deck right now.
Okay, then I'm wrong. I've played the Ritual Guys for maybe two matches to get a feel for them. I don't know what their TCG plays are, I know Releaser is a turn 1 thing, that's what I said would be the play. Which would mean searching things other than Scarecrow. (Unless you use that to Releaser)
I'm glad I play TCG exclusive BA. Plus Accel kinda you know posts everything and it's not that hard to figure out what to invest in from what other people are talking about.
>I'm so glad everyone knows they're going up against an OTK deck to search out a card they may not use turn 1.
If you end your first turn without Valk in your hand after doing the usual turn 1 combo shit then you either fucked up or you did it wrong. This is for ANY match-up.
Shaddoll killed by Nekroz harder than BA since it's hard for Shaddoll to have empty hand which result it's easier for Nekroz to resolve trish effect. Unicore on board also prevent construct to dump shaddoll from deck.
I do play the deck.
Doesn't mean I get situational stuff too well.
Dante's better with a loaded grave, so I'd want Virgil at the start, I guess. But, if it's first turn and I can't Virgil, do I want Dante to just be on the field, or Zenmaites for defense, or just not do anything?
How to use Burning Lake also confuses me. I guess you'd use it for mass removal? Like, against a full field, you'd special summon 2 BA, set Lake, then activate it during draw phase? Because you can't really just leave it set, because you lose BA special summon, and unless you've got Dantes and Virgil you just have some BA on field or some reason. Or is it a good idea to just leave BA on field so you can get their effects off if they're destroyed?
Are there loops or combos I'm missing out on, also? I might be missing something just looking at the deck.
But yeah, just tell me to play the deck. That'll solve everything.
They're damned near the same.
Pls go back to the shadow realm.
>Burning Abyss get a Ritual Spell that acts as a RotA from the Grave
>Can target-mill that card and Fire Lake now.
>Can summon Malebranches from everywhere except the Banish pile now
>Can Banish an enemy monster, then Summon it back with Leviair to steal it.
>Still not good enough to beat Nekroz
Power Creep is a bitch.
>But yeah, just tell me to play the deck. That'll solve everything
Oh, im sorry, try this:
Play the deck, get this
play the deck, and like THINK for 5 seconds before you do something.
Alternatively, watch event games instead of asking utterly retarded things.
How the fuck do you people even breath? Can you not just go and watch a fucking game online, can you not google? You can type an essay at how shit you are with the deck, but you cant just fucking google?
I still expect some good things from BAs, but even as a BA player, i must say that it isn't looking too bright for them when nekroz hit the TCG, looks like it'll be a jews vs cosplayers meta.
I might be wrong, but who knows.
>posting fucking reaction images on fucking facebook
>screencapping your fucking reaction images as evidence of you winning an fucking internet argument
jesus christ, this is much more cringey for tomo than the retard
speaking of cringe, look at this fucking faggot
>Scorpions friend lying to him
You have terrible fucking friends Scorpion
What you gonna do to them? Spread the word of the Digimon general?
Holy shit this is one of the worst threads in recent memory and theres not even 200 posts.
Every time I make a thread it's either really good or really bad. The last one I posted before this one was the one where the TCG banlist was revealed, so that one was bretty gud.
I usually don't see what goes on here til after FNM.
>Shaddolls don't have a problem against Qliphorts
>still playing shitty Normal Mash bullshit deck
>opponent actually fucking summons Exodius while I have Snatch Steal
What are the odds
Also why the FUCK was he running it in fucking Hunders?
Humble, I suppose. I don't care to brag but if someone tries to deny me doing well I can defend myself.
Winky Disk and Blazeman, where are you?
>Burning Abyss is about to get knocked off their throne of skulls
>U.A. are about to Zandatsu themselves before they can take out Armstrong
>Noble Knights were never good
The overlords are laughing at us.
So a guy at locals is willing to sell me a full Evilswarm core for 75$, including extra deck stuff.
Worth it? I'm thinking so, but not 100% sure.
We beat them. We beat them with Burning Abyss, we beat them with Qliphort, we fucking beat them with Baseball Cyborgs somehow.
The only way to stop them is to stomp them. If it can't be done, they take over.
Might as well have thrown your money into the garbage.
But in all seriousness that seems like a good price considering that it's going for roughly 30+ and it might even continue going up in price unless a surprise reprint is revealed
What are some helmet decks.
Right now I have Bujins, Noble Knights, Evilswarms, Qliphorts, Geargias
I am going to make a strawpoll to vote. I just want to make sure I have everything
this is what ive been messin with
its probably trash but i mean, im getting wins
yeah thats probably why
Macro Cosmos interferes with Scarm.
Macro Cosmos banishes Powered JErsey before you can get it back.
Orichalchos kills all your special summoned monsters, which pretty much means anything but Midfielder and Tour Guide. Not counting whatever summoned through Stormforth. And then it locks you out of your extra deck.
Yes, but Macro also flat-out wins VS Shaddoll and to a lesser extent BA.
Yes, and Dark Hole kills all your own monsters too.
Yeah Orichalcos is something I either play before I set up, or when I've got the batter dude and Powered Jersey and want to swing swing swing for game. Not bad as a one-of.
Also >using the extra deck outside of rank 3s with U.A.s
So U.A.s have
>Baseball: Starting pitcher, position player
>Football: Goalie, midfielder
>American Football: Some defensive player (linebacker, defensive tackle?), some offensive back
whur muh icefight and apehoop, Konami?
That's because only the most uncivilized countries give a shit about Soccer and they rarely have anything else.
Reminder that all Brazil has going for it is Soccer and kidnappings and they're not even good at the first one anymore.
Wait a little while and snap them up a couple days after Secret Forces is released.
Currently it's around $340 for 3 Dante, 2 Virgil and 3 Rubic, but the prices will probably freefall until just after Nekroz come out.
I dont know who ever runs the TCG might want to ensure that it's exclusive archetype is well treated, they tried with Noble Knights, I can see them doing something that will keep BA a top contender
We already know all the new BA cards, and, while they're better than the last batch (except Virgil who was based) they don't seem like enough of a power or consistency boost to beat out Nekroz or the new Qliphort cards.
Then again, I know expectations were low before the release of NECH, and giving them a pseudo-RotA could be enough.
>Limit Moralltach even though Shaddolls are quickly becoming irrelevant
>Release nothing to help them stay up their with the rest
>Too late to jump ship without losing a bunch of money
What's the likely future of Shaddolls? Fade into irrelevancy? Can they come back?
>>Limit Moralltach even though Shaddolls are quickly becoming irrelevant
Shaddoll builds have been shying away from Artifacts lately anyway for a Chaos build.
Moralltach got hit because various people just splashed 3 Moralltach and 3 Sanctum in random decks because it was a good engine.
So I thought I had a bearing on the relationship and the timeline with the Naturias, Shaddolls, Spirit Beasts, Yang Zing, Qliphorts and Gem-Knights, but then in comes the Sephira and now I am just completely fucking lost again.
>no capitalisation at all
>Posting a shit question which would have been solved in two seconds by using the wiki
Can you like, for one second not be a complete fuckwit?
I looked on the damn wiki, it talks about how to pendulum summon and what the scales are and what a pendulum zone is but not anything about what happens if you want to play a new scale over an old one.
>Jesshaddoll – Sephira Naga
>Level 2 DARK Spellcaster-Type Pendulum >Effect Monster (Scale 1)
>P. Effect: Standard Sephira restrictions, for Sephira and Shaddoll
>M. Effect: You can only use the monster effect of “Jeshaddoll – Sephira Naga” once per turn.
>(1) If this card is Pendulum Summoned or sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 card in either player’s Pendulum Zone; return it to the hand. You must control a “Sephira” card in your Pendulum Zone to activate and to resolve this effect.
>Hiryuusei – Sephira Shiugo (Sephira Qiuniu, Secret of the Yang Zing)
>Level 6 EARTH Wyrm Pendulum Effect Monster (Scale: 7)
>P. Effect: Standard Sephira Restrictions for Yang Zing and Sephira
>M. Effect: Something something… “Name” one per turn restriction: When this card is Pendulum Summoned or when a [blank] you control is destroyed by battle or card effects: Add 1 “Yang Zing” or “Sephira” Spell/Trap Card from Deck to hand.
>Kensei no Nekroz – Sephira Saber (Sword Saint of the Nekroz – Sephira Saber)
>Level 4 WATER [Type Unknown] Pendulum Effect Monster (Scale: 1)
>P. Effect: Sephira/Nekroz restriction
>M. Effect, quote-ith Eva: “name opt tribute from hand or field, ritual summon 1 Nekroz Ritual Monster from hand by tributing something from somewhere”
>M. Effect, quote-ith Eva: “name opt tribute from hand or field, ritual summon 1 Nekroz Ritual Monster from hand by tributing something from somewhere”
Now why is this a Monster effect, instead of a fucking Pendulum effect? This whole archetype is fucking backwards as hell, that's honestly pretty damn decent, but fuck come on
>ritual summon 1 Nekroz Ritual Monster from hand by tributing something from somewhere
Now I can ritual summon from the hand, field or grave without using any ritual cards.
Also this shit is searchable.
The Nekroz are back.
Trying to make my Fluffals work better, but I keep getting my shit stomped. Any tips, /dng/?
>inb4 remove bear
