OST need re-up apparently

True, but there are just as many instances of people defending them for their stupid, arbitrary changes for no reason.
Like people arguing that it's okay for them to change Sukeroku's lines so that he's more likable, despite the fact that he's supposed to be abrasive and rude. He's supposed to give off a "noir protagonist" feeling, after all.
What's Japan's opinion on the new designs anyways? Are they as mad as us about how the art style clashes horribly?
In my opinion the best course of action is keep demons that look like Minotaur, Astaroth, etc; redraw the 4 archangels keeping the same design but so that they actually look like they belong to SMT, and just discard most of the others new designs that clash hard, at least the ones that can easily return to their previous one, like Lilith, which looked good alredy..
>What's Japan's opinion on the new designs anyways?
I have no idea, but I imagine Kamen Rider fans were happy.
The game hurts even more for me because I think Doi is a fucking terrible artist in his own right.
I don't fucking care, you stupid asshole. This thread is dying and soon done for. We have to make a new one, OP showed us the way. His wise rule of make a thread as fast as possible to get to be famous OP and a longer e-pen bas to be enforced. This is a wurld of AG if you can't keep up, you die, faggot.
fugg :'DD on phine
fusion between a manlet and a spoiler.
Unless it's their way of saying Devil Summoner Portable is staying in Japan.
That would make it even more unacceptable.
Fucking Atlus USA.

I vaguely remember this being discussed in /smtg/, wasn't there something about his lines being hard to localize due to Jap being what it is?
What would more accurate translations of the lines be like?
>being hard to localize due to Jap being what it is
It's a translators job to know how to translate shit like that and if it's true that they changed lines that'd be by no means a justification.
The only discussion we had akin to that was some comments about the connotations of the word that he uses for "goodbye," and why there's no exact English equivalent of it.
That's just one word out of many, though, and a good translator translates the meaning behind a sentence, not the words in the sentence.
