Which artists' remixes are you looking forward to?
Get some good rest.
I guess I'll do this for the other guy who would normally do it.
The remixed Shadow World and Pursuing My True Self.
For best Chariot girl!
And also for that anon who said that Suruga isn't the "Chie" from Monogatari Series
Chill, Murrikas are asleep and Yuros are probably meeting with families since 2nd day of Easter.
"Your expected supply of shitpost will commence shortly; Prease Undelstand"
nah, SMT is MLP
to the point Shijima mentality was mocked in last ep.
I don't get this. On 4/17 or around there they went inside Yukiko's dungeon for the first time after buying weapons. And they apparently concealed them under their uniforms
Does that mean they are all wearing weapons at all times? Isn't that uncomfortable?
Never mind the fact that sometimes they would go to Junes' food court wearing regular clothes, then change to the school's uniform as soon as they went inside the store. And they also wore uniforms during Summer break
Chie's weapons are shoes, so the worst that could happen would be people looking at them.
Yukiko could just carry her's around since it is a fan.
Kanji usually uses chairs or tables, it wouldn't look out of place a dude carrying that stuff in a supermarket.
Naoto brings her weapon to school, it's pretty clear that she can keep her's in a pocket or something.
Yosuke could just put his knifes on his pockets or something.
Yu has it the worst. I guess he stuck the tip of the blade in his pants and hide it in his back?
Teddie is a bear, people would stare at him no matter what.
They just wear their uniform over it I guess.
I don't think any form of media ever shown them wearing anything other than their regular cloths though, not even in the game with a few exceptions like the battle panties.
They dress in layers.
I remember a comic about this at some point, pointing out that most of them could easily hide their weapons in their coat, but Yu's sword sticks out the top because it's too long. Can't find it though.
We haven't got a fun week since the P5 trailer.
First we had /v/ and /smtg/ shitting our threads for like two weeks, then someone mentioned
BRsand we had at least one and an half threads ruined and finally we had SMTxFE and had to deal with /smtg/ faggots blaming us for their trainwreck of a crossover.
At least at fridays we get new trailers for DAN. We also talked about p3's movie which was nice.
Well yeah. I guess it just surprises me that he'd start playing it so late. People must've voted for it.
Alright, hint taken. I won't talk about the guy anymore. Instead, I'll be posting some of my screenshots.
This thread is either good as dead until P4DAN or it's just really late at night (at least for me)
What did you name the P4MC that isn't Yu Narukami or Souji Seta?
>this faggot can't roleplay in a roleplaying game
I always name him Yu Narukami.
Well, it had to be Nakumi in PQ, but fuck that game.
I also own the same game
Are you me?
>not romancing everyone
How else can I fulfill my desire to be a slut?
This game is like Persona anyway, in a way. It's easy as fuck though.
What is your favorite Persona game, anon?
Why was she even playable in Ultimax?
Why did she need another Persona while Yukari can fight using that flying cow head? Why did they made her defeat Elizabeth while Yu had problems doing it?
>Why was she even playable in Ultimax?
To sell to her fans
>Why did she need another Persona
Yukari's is battle oriented, Rise's became battle oriented when she wanted to do more than just support
> Why did they made her defeat Elizabeth
Because the IT always has to win even though they are the weakest persona users to date
They could have made her's battle oriented without changing it's design.
I compared it to Isis since the thing barely moves in Ultimax and they could have given new moves to Rise's Persona and make it work. The new one doesn't even utilize it's mobility.
Personas change when you find a new truth about yourself, that's called a resolution
It changed appearance because she knew something new about herself, and her inner self changed
That's because TV World spoiled them and they thought all you need to do is yell "Persona" and it would show up. Since it takes more effort than that they assumed it's just impossible and stopped trying. That doesn't mean shit.
don't they fight in tartarus in Arena?
And in PQ
which is technically canon just bullshit memory lossthey summon them in that world.
And even if they just can't that doesn't mean outright that their fighting ability or power level is less, it just gives a bad handicap to them.
They tried summoning their personas once and it didn't work
It's a fake tartarus inside the TV world
PQ it's a different world in teh CU that amplifies Persona power, that's why everyone got a wildcard
Everyone can summon theirs outside except for the IT
Akihiko comments that the TV world amplifies persona power, and lets them summon their personas easily
Arena is just a clusterfuck or writing
>They tried summoning their personas once and it didn't work
Again, because they had no idea it actually takes effort in real world. For all we know they did exactly the same thing they do in TV World, gave up after that because nothing happened, assumed it's impossible and never tried again. They say in P3 and Arena that summoning Personas in real world is straining and it requires a lot of effort and training and that it's much easier in TV World.
Like i said, the TV world amplifies persona power since it's inside the CU, which means they are significantly weaker outside of it
Even if they do manage to summon them out, they would be really weak
Does this apply to SO as well, or did they train that away, but it still requires a lot of stamina?
I always laugh when people try to make powerlevel arguments about Persona. Like "Mitsuru has a powerlevel of 1,200 while Kanji is a mere 5,672" like we're in Dragonball and everyone is wearing scouters.
source: your ass
It makes summoning Personas easier and that's all. No one ever said it makes Personas stronger. By that logic, SEES would be stronger in TV World than IT because their Persona powers would be boosted too
I honestly can't make sense out of any of it
Everyone can summon their personas outside the TV except the IT, the P1 and 2 crew had no problems with it, int P3 they needed evokers, in P4 they need the TV world
And they made SEES the same level as the it to have thing be fair even though SEES has more experience
I should just stop trying to make sense of it
>except the IT
We don't know that.
Their tries most likely bolied down to doing whatever they do in TV World to summon them
Since TV World makes it easier to summon Personas, whatever they did in real world was not enough to summon them
So they assumed it's impossible
That doesn't mean they can't do it
That means they just had no idea it's even possible
>I honestly can't make sense out of any of it
Because there's no sense to be made of it. Atlus' take on the supernatural elements of its works generally boils down to "It's magic, I ain't gotta explain shit." Or "It's Jungiany Psychology, I ain't gotta explain shit" if you prefer. This isn't the Nasuverse where there's an encyclopedia of information on how every spell, every action works in context with the others.
Almost all of the changes over the series have been due to gameplay. Why are wildcards more of a thing in 3/4? Because they wanted the protagonist to feel special and to make the party members feel more individual. So they give access to more Personas than ever exclusively to the protagonists (except in Q, where they handwave an excuse for the gameplay).
Why did they summon in the real world in 1/2 but not in 3/4? Because they wanted the games in 3/4 to be tied to specific locations. We can make up excuses like "Philemon aided their summoning and now he's too weak, so it takes more effort to summon in reality," but it comes back to gameplay.
And in the future, we can be sure all of this could change if they found a gameplay or story reason to do so.
Shit got fucked up because of IS and then again bwcause of EP
Also a new dev team that doesn't really give a shit about previous games so comparing P1 and P2 to P3 and P4 is silly
As far as my tastes, none of the girls really hit the personality I like. They're okay though, and Rise and Yukiko are attractive, but until we have female Kanji I don't think I'd be totally happy.
>there will never be a Persona game where the villain was himself a former velvet room quest out for Igor's blood because he fucked up his mission and all his friends died to gods and demons
And what would he do with a Persona? He's already at work too much as it is to take care of his kid.
It's not like he could join you after school to go kick the shit out of King Pringles.
>altverse where you tell Dojima about your powers in April and rescue Yukiko with the police, and Dojima gets his powers
>police and students join forces and investigate the Shadow World together
>Chie wanting to be a cop doesn't come out of nowhere
>Naoto's terrible deductive skills are forgiven by joining the team early and being as dumb as everybody else
>snazzy cop Persona squad uniforms
I know what happened, it's just strange that /pg/ got so autistic over misunderstanding of a word.
Best not to go there.
And Kanji is dressed as Yoshi.
It's been a while, but I remember her being pretty useless in battle. It's cool that there was an optional party member, though. But seriously, Goombella is best girl. This cannot be disputed.
I think it's cool that P4's characters translate perfectly to TTYD's. It's cute.
We will never get a Paper Persona spin-off.
>stopped playing The Answer partway through almost 2 years ago
>never got the initiative to finish it
>always regretted not completing it
If I go back any play it now it will be so different from before, when I was coming right off the end of Persona 3.
Has a shadow ever, in canon, killed a persona user?
It seems the only people that die or get apathy syndrome are NPCs who can't summon personas.
>P4 if you don't rescue IT in time--
I said in canon. In canon Yu saves them in time.
HAHA time for youtube movie.
This shit has 38 fucking floors? Fuck that. I was a neet 2 years ago but I've got somewhat of a life now. I can no longer spend a whole day grinding pointlessly.
It's sad but true.
Most of the inconsistencies are Hashino's fault alone. He clearly has no concern or respect for his own parts of the lore, let alone the rest.
It sold well for a tweaked version of Arena with a few new characters. If they made an all new Arena that isn't just P4A, but instead with P5 characters and an old IT, it would sell like hot cakes.
I spoiled myself to shit with Persona 4, ended up watching the endings, true endings etc on youtube.
I've been listening to P3 soundtrack and don't really know much about the game, but it already sounds better than P4. Can I get a second chance at enjoying one of these games if I play it from zero? What's your opinion of it comparing it to P4?
Flynn's hair? Johnathan's afro?
If you can handle Soejima neck you can handle Doi's hair
P3 will be more enjoyable now that you've played P4 so you know what you're getting into. Here's the differences:
-Instead of varying dungeons, you just have 250 floors of tartarus
-Social link maxing is much more difficult
-Atmosphere is darker, subject matter a little more grim
-You will get your ass kicked by tables.
Play it. You'll like it if you come in knowing it feels like a longer, more drawn-out ride.
Also Nanako is the killer.
[I'm the guy you actually replied to]
If you liked Persona Invocation, listen to Shadow as well. It's very similar, only much longer and more intense.
My favorites include the following:
Wiping all out (P3P)
Fate is in our hands (P3 mov)
and two battle themes
Master of Tartarus
and Master of Shadow
