I cant seem to get it work anon. pls help. what settings do i need to have?
However it worked to get my EU Ger Shuffle to a JPN one...
That's probably bs.
And I literally just did the same to my american Shuffle. Wonder if we could compete with japs this way? It seems way more interesting, so many fucking people.
Probably... not that its too important. Not like we
supreme fagscan already saveedit everything we need.
But 10/10 from this anon for trolling an making me try :^)
Also good job for this beautiful tripple dubs >>24550066
Shouldn't that be the other way around? I mean, you can't spell "woman" without "man".
Not that I agree with that, it's a stupid argument, but the fact that it is using wrong logic really rustles my jimmies.
And you're wrong. Mawile in fact is better than normal on timed stages, because the diagonal mega ability takes a longer time to clear than certain other megas and leaves specific tiles unaffected to allow for easy matches, while also letting you pick up tiles being destroyed for matches.
Grind on Meowth. I suggest going for all items and praying you get the S-Rank so you can never look back. You only have to beat it once.
Lucario is probably the real winning mega for that stage, but Charizard would be better than nothing. If you have neither then I guess whatever you have that's decently destructive.
like collarfaglike the normal levels but are terrible at the timed ones. So I guess it's a way for them to catch some good Pokemon while still enjoying the main stages.
Here's what I do, though I'm the kind of person who will grind things I'll never use for the hell of it
All base 80s
Best base 70s of each type based on ability
Maybe some base 60s with amazing abilities, like Phione with Crowd Control
I keep a document with mons of each type that are worth maxing out and delete it from it once it hits 10, so if you really want I could write up a full list of what I consider worth leveling. Only thing I haven't fully figured out is which base 70 waters have the top abilities.
>which base 70 waters have the top abilities.
imho tbqhwy fam.
All very situational of course. Manaphy's ability is guaranteed on a 5 match where Milotic's isn't. On certain stages Greninja can make a massive difference.
You haven't checked since the python script? SciresM wrote a program that's in the supreme pastebin in the OP, you can edit only what you want, so yes if you have supreme morals just put in 99 hearts.
>downloaded the game late
>first event was Groudon
>was incompetent by the time of first M-Blaziken
>was incompetent by the time of M-Manetric
>was incompetent for many of the earliest events
>was Out of Town for the M-Blaziken rerun, missed it completely
>managed to catch up
>2 Competition M-Speedups
>Still missing tons of event shit
>Supremes are almost guaranteed first competition places anyway
Is it worth it to keep being a moralfag or should I go supreme?
Phione with Crowd Control is really the only great one. Most others are situational, such as running Combusken for an extra Pyre mon on M-Blaziken teams or using Togekiss on an all fairy team for competitions.
Woo, finally got all the S-ranks.
Just gotta capture 5 mons in the expert stages, and I'll finally fucking be CAUGHT. UP.
Then there will be coin grinding in anticipation of future events. And getting certain mons that matter to level 10. BUT STILL!!
Absol has Mind Zap, which is exceedingly valuable on certain stages. The Block Smash 60s can do a lot of good if you haven't got an equivalent Block Smash+ event Pokémon. Slowbro not only comes with freeze-removal, but is a powerful Mega in his own right. Damage (or Hitting) Streak Pokémon are now numerous enough that a mostly full team of them can continue their streak indefinitely, making all first matches double (again?) damage. Aerodactyl is a shit Mega - except that every time it's useful it's practically essential. And, like I'm sure you've guessed, every Pokémon with Crowd Control is better than it looks by far.
Currently trying to get Scatterbug itemless. Once I catch up to the current end of levels, I'm going to go S Rank them all
What the hell is with these levels though? I'm not expecting them to be easy, but some of these stages are clearly just coin deposits
I man, more clearly than usual
What the other guy said, don't worry about abilities or megas, just bring your highest bp mons and make as many moves as you can. +10 seconds basically makes it a free s rank if you win.
Need some advice - what's the best *mobile* team for Ho Oh? Already got Lugia and Celebi so I want to catch it soon.
Pic related is my team. Advice / strategies greatly appreciated!
Actually your team looks quite decent
if you still fail to catch it grind a few coins and go MS & ATK (no DD since you have M-Aero).
Also remember to bring a few coins for great balls
So consensus seems to be M-Mawile, Jirachi, Dialga, Muk for next week's comp. I haven't got to Muk yet so I checked his ability and it's power of 4+. My question to you: is there a reason to use Muk over Cobalion?
You can use either. Crobat is a no go because his ability doesn't work on timed stages.
Ho-oh is pretty easy, and your team is fine. Your best bet is to focus on making Aero Mega. Once Aero megas the stage is a breeze.
After activating a mega match they stop falling for a while. Because Gengar removes all its own tiles from the board, that means you will have one less type of pokemon on the board for a while, acting as a temporary C-1. It evolves very quickly and is only resisted by two types, making it useful on many stages other than Psychic and Ghost types. And then on top of all of that, on 3 mon stages the temporary free C-1 is even stronger as you can get down to just two kinds of pokemon and then get massive combos (record is over 250).
Mewtwo is appreciably stronger, with Banette just being much better for coin-gathering if both of them have full candies. Gengar stops M-Banette from being that big a deal. Since you're on mobile, any advantage in coin gathering might be essential, though. Tough call, but I'd normally feed the top-tier Mega (Mewtwo).
not only a trip, but also wrong;
M-Banette is against psychic and ghost with complexity 4 stronger than Gengar (with atleats 2 ghost pokemon in your team).
maxed out Mewtwo with Espurr and 2 Meowstics is much faster than banette for coin gathering, since 3 of them have mega evolve and you can combine a mewtow match + a mega evolve match most of the time.
Besides, maxed out mewtwo evolves faster then maxed out banette by 6 tiles.
On the other side you use M-Banette with MS and quirky ghosts. So that once you are mega your other 3 pokemon still have a function...
But with the latest release of Mime Jr the psychic pokemon also have a quirky user to use a MS directly
But pls dont let us start discussing what strategy is better and if its worth to spend the coins for MS... :^)
Because I forgot to delete it. Wish they didn't stick around between posts.
Is Mewtwo's tile-count to Mega evolve really 18 before Mega Speedups on Mobile? That would certainly change things. Yikes. See, on DS their comparative evolve requirement is 18 vs 19 after they've both had their fill of candies. Didn't expect such a vast difference.
>play Shuffle for first time in months since Lugia
>waste all coins and hearts against it with several tries where I just needed one more hit to beat it
Now I remember why I stopped. Even if I beat it there's that incredibly low chance of catching it.
You're telling this to scrub who dropped the game because of casual filter Mega Glalie.
speaking of shufflemove, I updated and my whole list of all my level 7-10 pokemon became 0.
whats with that, i didnt press "set all to 0" (which is a dumb feature in the first place tbh)
>nothing to do for the whole week after catching lugia,ho-oh and celebi
>play with meowth for the whole week
>suddenly find myself with more than 50,000 coins
well i hope they will last this time
i killed lugia in 15 second with just a mega start and an AP+ and it gave me a 45% catch rate and i'm even playing mobile which is supposed to be the version with shittier catch rate
You have M-Gardevoir comp (12000 coins per real attempt) and dailies next week (>using coins on daily pokemon) If you're missing S-ranks now wouldn't be a bad time to go after them.
Whatever you want, it's not hard to just pick the right moves with any team that's not full of super effectives
i use giratina/sawk/mawille/skarmory
but idealy you just want
- 1 ghost pokemon so that you have something to match that doesn't deal too much damage
- 1 fighting pokemon with power of 4/x1.5 last 3 turns like sawk (or conkeldurr in the 3ds version) in order to deal a lot of damage if you are falling behind
- 2 pokemon that deal normal damage with a skill of your choice as long as that they don't have skill that can stop meowth from making coin or removing coin, idealy they will have swarm/steely resolve/last ditch effort too
REMINDER TO USE EXP 1.5 FOR VICTINI TODAY!!!
REMINDER TO USE EXP 1.5 FOR VICTINI TODAY!!!
REMINDER TO USE EXP 1.5 FOR VICTINI TODAY!!!
>Go to your Pokemon list.
>Sort by either Level or Attack with the highest first.
>Find ones that need EXP and aren't not effective against Meowth.
>Don't ever use Megas
You have now created a team to use against Meowth. I've leveled 22 characters to max level just with Meowth farming so far, and the payout is almost always 330 or 530, and it's only if you get unlucky with the drops does it go to 30 or 130. Make sure to keep any Power of 4+ to one at a time on your party, and do the same with fighting Pokemon since they hurt like hell, especially when skyfall likes to be a dick.
I use 1 50 BP crowd controll mon, 2 ghosts that dont destroy any disruptions or change them, and conkeldurr.
I get 530 coins 7 out of 10 times, 2 out of ten times its 330 and the last one is 30.
Not op but there's no guarantee on meowth, or any stage in this game. I can usually get 530s with consistency, all it takes is being smart with the amount of damage you deal. Don't leave half it's HP until the last move, but don't do too much so that it dies before you even match the coins.
there is nothing to timed stages except focusing on matching 4 and doing matches as fast as you can. if you are already doing it at an extremely fast speed and catn beat them its probably because your team sucks and you need better pokemon
kinda hard to say.
when I first stared farming meowth, I always aimed for the secure and easy 330 coins.
Then I got better.
pic related is how I do it.
Its not a failsafe method, but it may help you understand what to do.
Its a spooky time, after all
I just ground coins and managed to get a catch with 5 moves left using M-Mawile, Dialga, Nidoqueen and Muk all middling levels. Used DD, Mega start and
Got even more lucky with the 21% catch in the pokeball (though I had more than enough cash to throw 4 great balls if I needed to)
Mega Medicham OTOH is going to be...fuck.
no, less forgiving.
It has 2 modes; turn based (regular) and timed.
turn based is... yeah, the same as trozeit but with a limited number of turns.
timed is closer to trozei but not exactly; you cant stop the enemy to throw shit at you if you are in a combo, and the field never gets completly empty.
>Lugia and Ho-Oh caught on the first day
>Along with celebi
>Can catch up with S-Ranks and Catching them all
>Only need M-Dactyl and Timburr
help me /vp/ I can't S rank them for the life of me. A on Timburr and B on Dactyl. Want to get them done by the end of the weekend
Wait for m-Gardevoir
its the only non RNG way to s-rank timburr itemless
Maybe I'm just unlucky, but does anyone feel like the catch chance is lower than what it says?
when i started playing at the end of the first keldeo event things only took a few retries and the chance catches made some sense. Now everything seems to shake 3 times and break out repeatedly. very rarely is anything being remotely cooperative anymore.
>going after Vivilon S rank
>go to select pokemans
>now it just crashes as soon as I select it from the menu
Uhhhhh uh oh. While I dont expect it to, is this happening to anyone else?
>only usefull if you want to do an itemless S-rank on one (1) pokemon
>that pokemon is already 2-3 month long open to the general public, S-ranked by those who care already
Medicham will have its use on stages with heavy random disruptions; those m-lucario cant cover with his vertical line removal.
Friendly reminder that Qwilfish, Durant, and Heatmor spawn 5 coins for getting 4/5 combos on the first turn.
Friendly reminder that these mons have 15 turn stages and it'll be far easier than meowth grinding on their respective days
For the 4 combos you can connect Ts, Ls, or crosses, the 5 shouldn't be much trouble either. You'll have 14 turns to move them into position, I suggest 3 NFEs and one strong SE.
Gardevoir is bad, but that doesn't excuse Medicham being awful either. Although honestly, Sableye is probably the actual worst.
Shaking has no baring on whether things stay caught. It's just an animation.
If you have a 10% chance to catch, the rng selects a number between 1 and 100. If the number is 1-10 it stays caught. If it's 11-100 it breaks out. You're experiencing confirmation bias.
(on 3DS) I have noticed that at 1% it almost always shakes 3 times, but yeah the way shuffle works shakes mean nothing, and I'm not going to be an idiot and take that to mean anything other than that's what probability has given me
I dont need a lesson on statistics, all im saying is that it seems like theyve coded it so that when it is less than 10% it shakes more often.
Now i am not saying correlation means causation and it can be confirmation bias, but if the data is there and it shakes more when less than 10% then i am going to correlate the 2 together.
>best strategy for the coin stages
Step 1: Realize tomorrow is Monday and thus there will be an update
Step 2: Have max coins as you should every Sunday night
Step 3: No need to grind
Having max coins on Monday is stupid. The only thing that requires a ton of coins is Escalation Battles and all of them give you a bunch first before bleeding you dry. Hell the recent ones even give you a net profit.
The best place to be is at 90k coins.
Continue grinding meowth. The daily coin spawners are also disruption spammers. You'll have a better time on Meowth if you need coins. The dailies are weak shit anyway, you should be able to beat all of them in 4 or 5 moves assuming you're caught up.
>tests HANS again now with a competition up
>mfw can compete with japs
>20 hearts later I finally catch this fucker
Reasons for the change:
-Reddit, GameFAQs and us /shuffle/ although we are a tiny group compared to the other 2, have been activly crying about it, especialy on gamefaqs
-they added in M-gardevoir long before so it may just be to test shit
Reasons against the change:
-GS is a japanese company and those dont give a shit what filthy westeners have to say
-Absol's data was changed after the competition hit, making it less shit
-it got a fairly realistic ability + evolve time
so yeah, enjoy the most useless mega in shuffle (I mean have you ever used mega venosaur?). Everyone who defends it because "m-muh itemless timburr" can go suck one
If you check the notice again, it changes to reflect the current week. Which always happens, at least for me.
Yes, since there pretty much has to be an update next week.
Don't count on it though.
Are they really? I barely see them posting cancer here, or posting anything at all, mostly it's just random things like screenshots of newly caught pokémon and asking for tips/complaining about some stages.
I suppose you aren't a regular of /shuffle/ then.
Reminder that they bracked about how harder their version is and that its the version for gamers who arent afraid of challenge, etc.
Reminder that they complained not shortly after this that cresselia is much much harder than it was on the 3DS (More HP with each stage), which was disproven quickly as stage 1-50 were identical to 3ds and statge 51-200 on 3ds almost always had double the amount of health from the mobile version.
Reminder that these idiots dont read the OP and ask questions about stages which are answered in the pastebins of OP. Haven't seen 3ds fags do that
>kill the fucker in 2 turns
>doesn't stay in the ball
>throw great ball at him since i have plenty of money to spare
>doesn't stay in the ball
also really GS? a fucking kyogre rerun? we are 3 light years behind the 3DS version and you are already doing reruns?
>do a few dry runs on garde
>Fuck this shit... I have enough coins for one full items run
>get lucky as shit
>mfw placed 15 in japan
Feels good man :^)
Looks like Qwilfish has two Dunsparce on its stage. Probably wouldn't bring Dunsparce with anyway. This seems to be true with all the dailies this week, the day before appears on the current day's stage. It'll only be really useful on Maractus though, because that stage has a dozen Heatmor on it, and it has the type advantage.
>y are americunts so horrible in the competition?
check JPN leaderboard with hans. Top 5 have legit M-Aero Arceus Teams
check EUR leaderboard. Different Teams. Some with M-Luke, M-Aero and M-Gengar. Also pretty solid. No single Ditto
Check NA leaderboard. Bullshit Ditto Teams. Also kek for the guy using crobat
homebrew can "only" edit your savefile (99 hearts/items/gems...) You may edit that you caught ditto but it will have its placeholder effect and hence be not worth to use
Those fags hacked it in. Dont worry they will get removed
if you >>24580523 try to funpost at least try harder :^)
by knowing what one is doing...
honestly you wont get a decent answer in this
lovelyshitposting general :^)
Better ask the fags at gamefaqs..
Also: Why would you want to hack it in? To get banned after using it?? There is literally no reason to use a hacked ditto. If you wanna watch how high the combo goes, just watch a shitty video on youtube
Fucking shit ass try hard spics
Why must they ruin everything. They rage quit all the time in free and rating battles in the main pokemon games and they cheat all the time.
What the fuck is up with that scoreboard. Im glad an American is number one.
I have to admit I'm getting my ass handed to me by this fucking M Gardevoir competition, after 6 full item runs I'm still only around 34K, which certainly looks like won't be enough to get the speed up. I've tried mawile teams, Aero teams and Gengar teams, and my highest score so far has been with Gengar.
Any actual tips on how to git gud?
I haven't missed a timed comp mega speed up yet and I don't wanna start now
same here... however my best run was with M-Aero
Only advice I can give is to never let the combo break. Use Pokemon that are easily to distinguish and hope you get lucky. My guess would be that the Candy cut-off will be slightly above 36k
It may be a good Idea to do enough dry runs to get used to the pace of this competition
I've been using Max Dialga, Max Muk and Steelix, as my non mega mons, they're pretty distinctive, thankfully, My 34K run, I activated Mega Gengar just before triple zeroes and got fuck all help from sky fall.
Even with cheats, mexifags cant be as good as the US cheaters
Why do you think nigga
As the other faggots have mentioned above you , its easier to distinguish two pokemon rather than having three or four for easy crazy combos
This anon was trolling hard anon
smea himself said that the overclocking makes old 3ds games (everything except xenoblade) run adjusted to the new clockrate of the n3ds. This results in better performance and very slightly less loading times.
It works only on n3ds obviously
What do we expect to be the best mega in the game when it's all released? Obviously Gengar will be great unless it gets nerfed somehow, But I think a Mega Diancie with all speedups could be the best. Especially for stages with barriers like Ampharos, plus whatever it's ability will be after evolving (if it's been leaked I don't know what it is). It just has everything going for it.
Yeah, it's surprisingly easy. Bronzong is an awful choice though.
If its ability is shit it won't be worth anything. It could make a diamond, it could be a Lucario clone, it could be a fucking Medicham clone. Gengar and Mewtwo are definitely the best by far. Mewtwo is killer alone but zapping out other shit makes it great. Gengar is obviously the combo king.
Am I safe?
Holy shit the jap scoreboard is so fast. I'm never coming back to Plebmerica.
I know how it's supposed to work, but considered the possibility that a game might fuck up when made to do something it's not meant to do, resulting in slowdown.
I tried booting Activity Log via Hans, the audio was fucked up.
Celebi is a limited time event, players are expected to have been playing at least a little while to have a chance of catching it.
This early on you couldn't really hope to capture any event pokémon short of using an Attack Power+ item.
Missed Jirachi and am too lazy to grind Cobalion, Muk or Registeel.
Bronzong is already there so why not.
Right now I'm doing M-Mawile (10), Dialga (10), Aegislash (9) and Bronzong (7).
no really.. this anon was just trolling. Also what difference would it make if you can edit everything you want :^)
I just did my full items run with Optimised Team and M-Mawile. And holy crap... I easily got 39k points (place 130~ in EU). Candy is safe for sure. My Combo broke a few times and I'm sure that when you are used to the pace and m-mawiles ability you can even get 40k +
Definitely worth a try... also 4 out of top 5 use m-mawile team in eu right now
Dracafeu is the new avengah and uses M-Mawile, Dialga, Klinklang and
Dracafeu is love, Dracafeu is life. Also kek for avengah not even trying in this competition :^)
>asbol argument again
When absol was initially changed, it still had the ability of M-Audino and 30 matches required, which is the placeholder used for ALL unreleased megas. The fact that M-Gardevoir has been changed from the placeholder to something else extremely strongly suggests it's finalized.
ultra lord super duper toppest of top fucking keks
Through homebrew. There's no such thing as hacking it in so it doesn't have it's placeholder effect.
>Eject won't happen
What are you on? Eject (basic, not Eject+) is 100% activation even on matches of 3
optimize with m-luke did it fine for me
>What are you on? Eject (basic, not Eject+) is 100% activation even on matches of 3
On the Excadrill stage, if you can start out with an Eject match the disruptions get cleared out. The game almost never starts that level out with a Tropius match if I bring it. What did you think I meant?
Please send help with this stage.
Last thread (or maybe 2 back) some anons were saying Eject didn't work on Pelipper, as in it wouldn't remove the Wingull disruptions even though it should have activated.
I never had trouble getting a starting eject match, it might be because it needs to be in a specific slot since the board doesn't have that many spaces open. Check whichever pokemon has a starting match, then put Tropius in that mon's slot next try.
Where have you been every competition since it was released?
>Check whichever pokemon has a starting match, then put Tropius in that mon's slot next try.
I'll try that out.
Interestingly enough, Tyranitar wouldn't eject the Wingull on Pelipper's stage for me either. Already S-ranked that one though.
AWW damn t...
Arceus was a special event? Theres no way I can unlock that event? I just started playing two weeks ago..
Im tempted to see if my console can be hacked because this heart stuff is killing me
>can you have a team of favorites and win?
Well...it really depends who your favorites are. In this game, you can level up your Pokemon to lvl 10, they don't evolve, and some are stronger than others. You eventually will need to use different, stronger Pokemon to progress in the game.
I can't use some of my favs because they're too weak, you won't get too far if you use a team of pre evos.
This. I would imagine it's a lot more difficult now.
I played Mobile when it first came out and I had used the heart exploit to max lvl and get 99k coins. It's not so Jewish to those who played from the beginning and know what they're doing, but those that just started? Have mercy on their souls
Yeah, homebrew will let you dump your save file and then there's an app in the Supreme pastebin in OP by SciresM that lets you choose what to edit: caught pokemon, levels, coins, reserve items, jewels, bonus hearts, and mega speedups
Why is Gardevoir bad as a mega? I stopped playing this game since forever when I got bored of sweeping trough the game after haxing the game with the browser exploit thing. Is it at least good as a non-mega Pokemon? From what I've seen 70 "BP" is above-average.
>highest score in EU outside of ditto faget is barely over 55k
This. I even made my own shortcut for it. Can share if you want.
disregard the cirno theme, touhou was the only series i care about that had decent themes for mashers launcher
