ORAS NA wifi event out of nowhere
OT Sly 11045 Ultra Ball Zoroark with event move Sludge Bomb
>Zoroark with Sludge Bomb
Ho boy, this is gonna be fun.
9.2 IPS screen n3DS with CFW here, pal ;^)
>Assault Vest on a fucking Zoroark
>Wanting a blatantly washed out image and overall shitty screen quality on your system
Spotted the clueless retard
>Nintendo portable console
N64 still looks better than any 3ds game graphics so why the fuck do you even care about brighter colors with longer time response? Probably because you're just another nintentoddler. Goodbye kek, I'll go back playing on my computer.
>N64 still looks better than any 3ds game graphics
>I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY SO I'LL PRETEND I WON THE ARGUMENT AND LEAVE
Don't be a donut ;^)
>it's so shit it needs 3rd party softwares
L M A O
Literally worse than fucking ps vita
Of all Pokemon, they picked this stupid thing.. Fuck, Gamefreak. Maybe this is them trying to shove the DeviantArt fanfic-gone-wrong down our throats again since it didn't work in BW and the movie. I hate this stupid furry bait. I'm gonna call it now, Zoroark for next Mega and/or Sm4sh dlc.
>has event ribbon
>in an ultra ball
>sludge bomb move
uh..fucking what is this? They usually only do events for something related to something they're trying to promote. I'm assuming it's for the new BREAKthrough cards...but its a really bizarre event.
that's not modest
252+ SpA Choice Specs Zoroark Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges: 188-222 (52.2 - 61.6%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
still shit tho lol
They can set the IVs for events. Sejun's Pachirisu for example was 31/31/31/14/31/31 Impish. It wouldn't hurt them to at least make this one more bearable to soft reset for.
>derided as "lucario wannabe"
>battle preview killed Illusion's usefulness
Truly a tragic tale of what should have been a pretty nice pokemon.
At least Night Daze is pretty decent.
>tfw my name is Sylvester
>Shorten it to Sly
>It will just be my OT name
>People will think I like that poke
One game mechanics that may end up helping ruse fox have some viability, is that if it suffers from direct damage, it takes 50% damage of what it would take when not under an illusion. Think that could add some viability?
A Dark/Fairy mega might actually garner interest, and actually be somewhat justified.
After all, "faeries" in european mythology were typically tricksters, shapeshifters, and/or pranksters who would use illusions to pester people for their own amusement.
Ghost/Dark with one of the broken abilities (Adaptability, Protean, Sheer Force) would be more than enough to make it a 10/10 threat.
And Trace is one of the worst options around, by the way.
You could totally justify making a Kitsune /Fairy, yeah. Fairy needs more representatives that aren't pink moeblobs and you don't have to worry about the new typing hurting Zoroark's popularity among boys since there is none in the first place.
I dunno, which is similar to how GF would approach it too. If Illusion is to be kept, probably only work if there is a mon on the team that can also mega evo, or it just drops the illusion and gets a decent ability, or some ability that can be used to actually build a legitimate team around.
You go into the regular Mystery Gift Menu and select Local Wireless or whatever the first option is. I'm assuming that though, or it will be one of the options.
The "Nintendo Zone" app was discontinued, but the actual wireless zone was not. The app was pretty much useless for anything except for watching a video if you were some sort of weirdo.
You can currently download stuff for Happy Home Designer...i think the Monster Hunter Feylene villager is available now.
I imagine Zoroark will be getting a Mega Evo, then. Huh, I guess the best way to work illusion into it is that the Mega Evolution happens, but no animation is played if Illusion is still active.
>disguises itself as the last pokemon in the party.
Lern too reed dipshet.
Doesn't matter where zoroark or the other mons are placed...team preview tells you exactly which one mon to look out for.
Sorry man, serebii said so, and then it was true.
Now I have to wonder, when you send out a Zoroark does it appear to come out of its actual ball or the ball of the Pokémon it's disguised as? If you knew what one of the two's balls were (and they were different from each other) could you use that to figure out it's a Zoroark before you even make a turn against it?
The buildings are gaudy (some of them at least). If it was just the N64 aesthetics with high quality models it'd be great, but despite the detail increase I like it less because of the building design and the overly bright floor.
On top of that, the pretty cool Night Daze gives it away if it uses it while transformed
>up against tasty ghost or psychic type while transformed
>can't rek it with awesome signature
You guys are faggots:
>+2 252 SpA Life Orb Zoroark Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges: 296-351 (82.2 - 97.5%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
Needs pebbles but its something.
Dark/Fighting/Poison is great coverage anyway
Huh? The pose is a bit different
I know this happen on flying pokemon, they'll stand on ground, but this?
They have different animations when you get them through Mystery Gift. Flying types actually stand on the ground and look a 1000000x better.
252 SpA Life Orb Zoroark Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Chesnaught: 208-247 (54.7 - 65%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
>Zoroark Sludge Bomb vs. Bulletproof Chesnaught: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- aim for the horn next time
>Special Defence Chesnaught
Who even plays that?
>GF subtly admitting that fairy type was an overpowered mistake
Considering how other shitmons like Pangoro learn Sludge Bomb it makes more sense on this dirty playing ruse fox than a panda. The Ultra Ball is a let down tho.
You must be mentally challenged to think someone would try to stay in Florges with that type match up and with it being at 100% HP. Florges however has to watch out from switching on it, if not for the hazards then for the quite common 30% poison chance. It has to do with the NP set too.
This Zoroark is improved a little but nothing amazing either, Fairy type at least doesn't stop it cold.
I'd say the special set is still great with Dark/Fighting/Fire coverage and its best set is still the mixed one.
Sludge bomb is most likely as another anon said, not because fairies but for playing up the Poison type, Zoroark's best disguise. Unfortunately I'd prefer Gunk Shot on it so I can disguise it as a Toxicroak
I dont own a ds, can you get multiple event mons? The reason I ask is because on Pokemon Showdown, you can use event pokemon with perfect stats and natures, which just doesn't seem possible.
Its a lot easier with the 3 IV system. For instance, a hoopa event can easily end up with max attack/Sp attack/sp def but mediocre defense, which doesnt matter cuz its piss already
Has anyone else been using it? I don't expect it to go up to OU or anything but it's been pretty fun to use and Sludge Bomb is more useful than some people are giving it credit for. I've mostly been disguising it as Mega Lopunny because everyone's first reaction to seeing a Lopunny is to throw their bulky Ground and Psychic types at it ASAP.
>illusion diguises you as another pokemon.
>only zorakre and its pre evolution learn night daze.
>hence dark pulse being better for not giving you away the moment you use it.
But with how squishy zoroark is, that first hit's usually enough to knock it out. If not, it'll get knocked out by the next attack.
Either way, you've got nothing to lose, so why not hit them with the move that'll hurt more?
That only matters if you're disguising it as Gengar or another Dark type or some shit. If you're like this guy >>24592488 and you disguise it as Mega Lopunny or whatever then it doesn't matter which one you use, they're going to know it's a Zoroark either way.
should I settle senpai?
>28/29 SpAtt IVs
>30/31 Speed IVs
>decent Attack IVs
>30/31 Def IVs and decent HP IVs for giggles
1. Being used less in competitive play is a good thing for Zoro users. If you don't use it as a lead and you give it a good sweeping partner for synergy, he's based.
2. A Focus Blast alternative. Between Focus Miss, Dark Pulse and now Gunk Shot, he has perfect coverage. Too bad Focus Miss is shit.
Night Daze has an additional edge over Dark Pulse in that NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE FUCK IT IS and your opponent will oftenn initially assume you're using an obscure physical move like Assurance.
I feel like a lot of people ITT don't understand how to use Zoroark.
You're not supposed to try to fool the opponent forever, you're supposed to fool them for one turn, strike, switch out, and potentially fool them again. Having Zoroark's moveset be something that the pokemon it's disguised at would already have would... kind of ruin the point?
Nobody's leaving in Clefable on a Gengar because they'd expect Sludge Bomb but they wouldn't from, say, a Sableye.
>i'll be trying to use zoroark to mimic poison teammates
>sure a non stab poison sludge bomb will be useful against anything beside getting rid of faries with situational nasty plots and avoiding shitty gengar and other ruses
I bet you thought Serperior, Feraligatr and Typhlosion are good now.
>tfw brett says something smart for once
You sound very intelligent for your age :^)
Sludge Bomb gives Zoroark perfect coverage and a way to OHKO fairies. He was a fun pokemon last gen but a nearly unusable one this gen because of fairies.
Sludge Bomb was the best move it could gain besides maybe Aura Blast.
>A flying pokemon is actually flying
>"HOW DARE THEY!?"
I know that the main complain is the gliding animations, but Charizard actually flap the wings, so I really don't see a problem.
Special Toxicroak's biggest assets are the special movepool and surprise factor. Dressing up your Zoroark as a special Toxicroak would be like playing two different tricks on your opponent at the same time. A ruse within a ruse.
