How the mighty have fallen.
>not using Specs Chlorophill Exeggutor in OU
>OU all gens and a mega in Ubers
>mega under suspect
fear the gremlin.
>Zard being an safe switch-in
>252+ SpA Choice Specs Exeggutor Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard: 270-318 (90.9 - 107%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Exeggutor Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 210-247 (70.7 - 83.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Exeggutor Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard X: 270-318 (90.9 - 107%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
Y while taking less damage gets outsped by Chlorophyl and dies next turn if it switches into a Psychic.
X beats it if it doesn't die switching in however.
taking 90% switching in isn't really a viable way to counter executor. Executors real problems is that U-turners force it out giving the enemy team free momentum, special walls handle it really well, and being weak to knock off and being dependent on an item is a terrible combination
>yeah, let's all run redundant, superspecific, inefficient moves on our latias, charizard, etc
Keep in mind what the name of the bottom tier is in each gen. In 1-2 it's UU, in 3-5 it's NU, and a few weeks ago we got Gen 6 PU for complete trash. So obviously gen 1 UU is not equivalent with gen 6 one.
It's also worth noting that not a single legendary was found in the lowest tier in the first three generations. Most likely because of the general playstyle, which corresponded closely to bulky offense (gen 1) and balance/stall (2 and 3), allowing legends to benefit from their above-average bulk and attack stat despite their atrocious movepools (which most Pokemon had anyway). Gen 4 killed viability of half of them when being as mediocre as they were was no longer sufficient.
Nigga fuck people telling you otherwise. It's as effective as any other sticky web users. With a focus sash it's good for two turns. I like mine carrying alot of priority, shadow sneak and sucker punch to do as much minimal damage as possible. And if you can get away with another turn, it's swarm mega horn is pretty vicious. Sticky web itself is such a useful means of speed control any team appreciates are bro mons contribution.
A mega evolution.
A +10 boost to speed.
Of course the +10 boost some mons got in Gen 6 is off the table because retarded Game Freak decided to give the 10 point boost to its special defense for some reason. Special fucking defense. God damn
Hey man, I guess you must be a bit new but, you're meant to turn your trip code off unless is necessary in the thread, just a heads up from someone whose been here a while longer than you
nobody uses it
Only sometimes and it plays a different role than Clefable usually does in OU anyway.
All this said, of the three fully evolved mons you posted, Lumineon is the only one that sees even a little use and it's generally outclassed by Pelipper as a water type defogger anyway. PU doesn't have that much in the way of NFE mons either outside of the occasional Fraxure, Machoke, or Clefairy.
Do you like monkeys? Then FU is the tier for you.
>OU in every gen
Is my memory faulty? Because I remember Dragonite being BL in gens 3/4.
What the fuck? Is this non-shadow tag goth?
Yes. Plus, Dragonite got some new killer moves and abilities during these last seven years, making him a solid OU guy.
>Is this non-shadow tag goth?
Yes. Shadow Tag is banned in every tier below OU because UU banned it.
If a move/ability is banned from one tier, it's automatically banned from all lower tiers too.
Yeah, I knew Multiscale pushed him into OU for gens 5 and 6, but I remember him being considered fairly lackluster in 3 and 4.
I think that normal people would ignore my tripcode and have a normal discussion with me like any anon but I don't know how many normal people browse /vp/.
Funposters make funposts about me.
Truly misguided people filter me, but that's fine. Probably not too many of those anyways.
What tier do you think Gardevoir would be if it didn't get a mega?
>gauging on how often a pokemon is used and why its good enough to be used that much
>lol who gives a shit about that
Stay salty your favourites are bottom of the barrel, bud
I sometime use a Leafy on my mixed teams aswell, and he can do serious damage against cookie-cutter ou teams run by people who don't have much experience with non-ou mons. I initially tried him out just for fun because I needed a knock off user and didn't want to use the common ones. High attack stat, not terrible speed and one of the highest physical defenses in the game.
So a great physical wall that hits hard, many of those annoying bulky water mons go down to one leaf blade, an unexpected aerial ace can destroy fighting types and fellow grass types if they try any spore/sleep powder shenanigans. Synthesis lets him live long and prosper a slong as he's kept away from those special ice beams and fire blasts. Final move slot is sometimes wish or heal bell just help heal other pokes too, sometimes sword's dance or roar, or for further coverage x-scissor.
Basically he's a really versatile mon, he can be an awesome attacker or a great support mon with decent attacking potential. And most importantly he's adorable.
>OU in 5 gens including 6
>I think that normal people would ignore my tripcode and have a normal discussion with me like any anon
Except that every post you make is one towards developing a persona visible and recallable to therest of us, because you're shoving your identity in our face in a place built for anonymous discussion. You aren't using your tripcode correctly. The point isn't about just having a rational discussion, it's about the disruption inherent to repeated use of an identity in an anonymous forum. You either know this and are a dedicated faggot, or are severely delusional.
As for your le carefully crafted identity, nobody likes you or wants you here. Your posts are all shitty. You have no good ideas and apparently barely play Pokemon. You're an underage which has clear evidence yet aren't banned for some reason. Just fuck off.
They phrased it awkwardly so they probably meant something that's been straight OU since Gen 2 like Skarmory.
Unfortunately, my tripcode apparently gives me a bad identity which makes all my posts shitty and makes people legitimately mad. :(
Thunder Jolteon was actually amazing in the days of infinite rain. Sadly, nowadays people like Raikou more for that additional bulk/power.
>Thunder Jolteon was actually amazing in the days of infinite rain.
so was literally every single electric type
yes it would, too bad people think furry shit like vaporeon and milotic are better
Well, let's see.
We've got Rotom and Magnezone which miss out on speed and don't really do the same thing as Jolteon anyways.
Thundurus-T is also pretty slow and prefers boosting sets anyways.
Thundurus-I is actually banned.
Raikou's a decent alternative but it misses outspeeding Alakazam, +1 Gyarados/Dragonite, Starmie, and the rest of the unboosted tier. It also doesn't have an ability.
Stunfisk was amazing and is still amazing.
But I guess Arceus-Electric... no wait, that lacks Volt Switch.
Ah, I forgot what your argument was. I'm probably trippin'.
I don't know much about Pinsir but I don't think it was ever really that impressive pre-mega but I think it was always fairly decent in the tier it was in.
Could be anything that got a mega, really, Pinsir works for this along with Altaria, Lopunny, Gardevoir... and you could say a few things that got a lot of boosts like Mandibuzz, Bisharp, and Clefable rose a lot too.
Alomomola is used pretty frequently in teams over 1600+ actually, to the point where people believe Vaporeon is the inferior choice. Milotic's OU analysis uneventfully disappeared while Alomomola's was updated two times.
with a sarcastic Smogon page calling it OU
If it was even useable in any of those tiers it wouldn't be so bad, but it doesn't even fit there.
Tier below PU when?
>Mega in Uber
Truly the achieving the dream.
I thought that was an unofficial tier ("unofficial" compared to Smogon's "official" tiers I mean). I don't see an FU Showdown ladder at least so I assume it's not that popular.
But by the time that happens there will be too many Pokémon better than Farfetch'd that we'll need a tier below FU!
do you know what little cup is? it's 1st stage only. that includes stuff like rattata and pichu, but not pikachu.
if farfetch'd were to have an evolution it would become eligible to be used in little cup. the sad thing is, even there it would suck balls, since even doduo does it's job better. still defiant, stick and leaf blade give it somewhat of a niche i suppose.
If it got an evolution I would place my hopes on its evolution being useable and then use that. Considering GF's treatment of the duck though it's far-fetched to think that'll ever happen.
