My current Level 10 + some level 9/8's (Works in Progress).
Which pokemons do I absolutly need to get to level 10 ASAP?
look, I have so many at level 10 that I started to get bored and thought some unimportant ones have to be level'd up. Obviously I could have used those hearts better like >>24614400 suggested.
Im suprised you picked this one and not the compete ralts family
no offense senpai, but flaafy is one of our delicious shuffle maymays... thats why :^)
Also I think I remember you... you were that one anon that grinded the ralts line the same time on amphy and all icons almost looked the same. nice idea nontheless senpai :^)
M-Medicham is a stupid stage. Bring everything but C-1 and you won't even beat it. Bring C-1 and DD and you'll finish with over 20 moves left.
Goodra, Delphox, Ninetales, Zapdos, Articuno, Snorlax/Lickilicky/Blissey (2), Steelix, Swampert, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Palkia
since im just at mega altaria, i have shitty mons to beat any of the gud event legendaries, so i just rushed in the last minute to get this fucker
WTF IS THIS SHIT? and why was it so hard to catch?
failed to beat it like every third run, and had to do like 10 successful runs with one failed super catchrate, even though i got like 16-18% rates most of the time. fucking pseudorandom shit
>>24613759 here, finally got my 3rd try in and got a 39k score with a M-Mawile/Dialga/Jirachi/Muk team.
Jirachi ended up being unneccessary due to a very good starting layout that let me mega Mawile in less than 10 seconds, but I finally got this shit. 3622nd in Japan with 7 hours to go.
>almost 100k guy in europe using Blaziken, Arceus, Lickilicky and Snorlax
HANS user detected and GS didnt removed him.
Guess that means you can get always first place by overclocking.
Good to know that cheaterfags like you niggers are pushing us back.
your question makes no sense anon...
If you try expert stages and get a super catch power that will get you over 50% you might consider a great ball.
do you play mobile or 3ds? Because in the 3ds version you may get your coins back if the great ball fails and you quit the game
the overclocking setting in HANS lets you play o3ds games with a better performance... there is LITERALLY no way that it "slows down" your stage anon.
It was funny the first time you trolled us, but anon pls...
to bad anon. mobile version fixed this...
I'd say to try a great ball if you get super catch rate or get over 70% with your great ball.
For expert stages you have to use strong SE mons and do the stage a few times till you are able to beat it itemless. You'll get a shitty catch rate but eventually you will catch it sooner or later.
Because it isn't. You have confirmation bias.
Why don't you make a note of every single catch attempt (percentage and whether you caught it) you make for the next month then report back to us? Then you'll see what bullshit you're spouting.
Because they are? We've gone inside this game, we know exactly how the actual catch rates are calculated and they're the same as what it shows you. Tell me one reason why you aren't a paranoid conspiracy theorist dumbass.
Dittos removed from NA, jumped about 60 places (180 to 120 or so)
Top 5 are all Arceus teams, with 2-4 using M-Aero, 5 using M-Gengar, and 1 using M-
Fuck all of you who laughed at me for having it be my first level max pokemon, I knew that some day double normal would give it a chance to shine
If it's your strongest SE just use it
Nidoking is literally Nidoqueen with a worse ability. Why is your Nidoking higher leveled?
Bronzong is pretty shit too, probably the worst base 70 Steel mon. You really need to grind your Nidoqueen.
Fuck just noticed a typo in the OP, M-Gardevoir runs 11/2-11/9 not 11/19. I hope that one anon who thought that meant it ends the night of and not the morning of doesn't get screwed over again :^)
>Playing the mobile version
>Trying to get S-ranks for all original 150 to get the Expert Mewtwo
>Every fucking Mega
By the way, is the best strategy to just use the optimize button on every stage? Right now, doing it for each type gives me a couple level 7-8s, mostly legendaries.
You need any 150 S ranks for Mewtwo, come back to those later on. Zoroark will be a joke when you get M-Gardevoir, but that's a long way off, it's really difficult until then (it was the last of the first 150 I S ranked). Megas Mawile and Glalie are just DD, Gengar and Mewtwo are harder, the rest before Mewtwo are easy.
Optimize almost always, the only thing is if you get a base 60 to level 6 it will have 72 power and thus show up before a base 70 in optimize so you need to manually make the change to put EXP into the right mon. Also sometimes you need a specific ability or want to swap around for a mono-type team to take advantage of abilities like Pyre or Sinister Power.
It's nice to finally git gud, I thought I was the only one struggling this much with this week's comp. Ended up doing 3 full item runs with scores of 29k, 30, and 33k. Just did a 4th run and got 39k with a rank in the 1200s in NA. Looks like we made it anon.
Buy items and actually plan out your teams. Optimize only selects on BP where there are powers that are far more helpful for individual stages. You can grind coins on Meowth, but it sucks more on mobile.
>I am good.
I played worse than usual, dropped combo at least 4 times, and I'm still top 200.
>Didn't touch the comp all week
>Tries this morning, one run to get a feel
>Only noticed it's time based with 18s left
>Whelp, that's what practice round is for
>Try again itemless, 12k, much better
>Got the hang of it, might as well item all in
>Drop 12k gold on 3rd run
>End up with 32k
Just checked again, am at 2.5k. Jesus christ, on my first item run and my first time ever placing high enough for candy. I'm good leaving it as is.
I bet on a dead week. We still have one or two weeks of dailies... we could get some rehash like Cresselia or Safari #2, maybe, but I'll be pleasantly surprised with new content
Nvm, I forgot they already did Keldeo. I forgot I had it, too. No clue I guess. They still should re-run Mega Blaziken after the travesty where people didn't get their stones (like me).
You don't feel safe at 707 when the top 3800 or 2300 get it?
DEAR GOD PLEASE NO
And that is TIME!
NA cutoff looks like it's going to be around 36000, give or take.
I couldn't even get 33000 ;_;
Any of these would be
good.___ I missed basically every event in the summer due to being busy and now have no good ground types and no good Psychics besides Mewtwo.
My scores on all 3 regions. Screenshots taken starting on the last 3 minutes.
COMPETITION IS OVER
POST EVENT POKEMON YOU WANT RELEASED
POST EVENT POKEMON YOU THINK WILL BE RELEASED
>Zekrom - Super Bolt (10%, 20%, 50%, damage, x10): Attacks can occasionally deal greater damage than usual.
>Snivy - Opportunist
I honestly just want Garchomp to be rereleased. Having to rely on Excadrill, Donphan, and Stunfisk for electric types is worse than death.
I expect most of this week's offerings to be trash, though. I wouldn't even mind the starters just to get them out of the way.
They don't do competitions in back to back weeks. As far as I can tell, they've NEVER done them back-to-back. So I don't care how much you want a M-Blastoise repeat, you ain't getting one today.
Personally I would expect an escalation stage and snivy/oshawott. distant third would be some Great Challenge legendary I'm not thinking of (emotion trio comes to mind?)
Would be nice if they are 80 to finish up a good Mewtwo team, but they will be 70 at best.
The only remaining Pokémon that could be an 80 Psychic that I can think of are Metagross and maybe Alakazam
Yeah, I remembered wrong. My score was actually 36.4k something in the end, that should check out better.
Nice. Grats, looks like that means I got in too.
was too busy on the PS3 to check.
Base 80s have only been the pseudos and strong legends. Metagross will be 80 for sure, just a question of type, but Alakazam will be our psychic 70. Emotion trio probably also 70 so we don't have 6 (or 7 if metagross) base 80 psychics, bnd since we already have 3 but only 1 base 80 steel Metagross will probably be steel anyway.
Probably right. I could see them coming after a trio of either gen 2 or 4 starters.
Aw shit I forgot about him.
Which also reminds me: Since Meowstic sets the precedent, do you think will we get all alt forms? If They ever do all 721 Mons but need to stall for Gen 7, they could do forms.
There are icons in the data for a significant number of alt formes, so I think it's entirely possible.
Deoxys only has normal forme there, though. Same for Meloetta and Zygarde (and Xerneas but who gives a shit.)
I love this discussion in the hour before an update, best part of these threads
I feel they'll label it as normal form but not actually release the others, at least not for a long time like they're doing with Keldeo. There's also no data of Meloetta's Pirouette form even having an icon, so I feel like they won't since they're supposed to be changes of the same pokemon while the Meowstics are specifically different beings.
However if they did do it, it'd be cool and frustrating to have a stage kind of like a safari where Deoxys takes a different form every time you play. Or have a safari where each Deoxys form has a 1.25% chance to appear. They could have attack form have 80 power with hitting streak/damage streak/heavy hitter/brute force, defense form 60-70 power (or 40 if they really wanted to fit the theme) with disrupt buster, speed form 70 power with mind zap, and normal form 70 power with power of 4+.
The following Pokemon have more than one icon for their formes, although not all of them will necessarily make it into the final game:
Unown, Groudon, Kyogre, Burmy, Wormadam, Cherrim, Shellos, Gastrodon, Rotom, Giratina, Shaymin, Darmanitan, Deerling, Sawsbuck, Frillish, Jellicent, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Kyurem, Keldeo, and Meowstic. Shiny Genesect is also present, likely as a leftover from Battle Trozei, and there are two Vivillons but one of them is a mistake they forgot to add the filter to. It's the one they used in-game.
I was only counting legendaries, but yeah I completely forgot Arceus had multiple formes. Somehow.
While I'm here as >>24617750 you reminded me I also forgot
Pyroar. And all megas but that's sort of implicit.
>90bp groudon and kyorgre with ground type and water type pyre
I was looking at a sprite sheet, but yeah that's basically the same except for the erroneous Vivillon. If you've ever noticed that the in-game Vivillon looks weird, you're right.
Just a cute little addition by the devs. That said, a pointless one. Maybe it was supposed to show Xerneas being very peaceful, an opposite to Yveltal's death and destruction motif.
Couldn't even kill Tornadus itemless. Since there's nothing else to do this week (unless the other genies are rotating on the daily), I'll just go with items tomorrow to seal the catch and grind the coins for peace of mind.
>Beat Tornadus with no moves left with a 9% catch rate
>As predicted it fails, but SCP kicks in to boost the rate to 50+%
>net it with the first Great Ball
Cool, I guess I'm done for the week. Oh yeah, and Tornadus is 70BP with Power of 5+.
I used level max Ampharos over level 5 Manectric.
Manectric is only level 5 because of a Victini long ago, I've never actually used it.
I thought about that, but then why would I have been 151 for 10 minutes up to the final minute? Or even for the final second? If they were there before the time was up, I would have seen them on the top 5, but they weren't there. So they had to be between 6 and 150, and they got removed, so GS checks those scores as well.
Starts with barriers on row 3 in X_XXXX and row 4 as XXXX_X I think it was, every 4 moves spawns 3 unbreakable blocks or something like that. Not hard, but it has a lot of HP for 14 turns.
two horizontal barriers across the middle withe one gap in each, unbreakable block disruptions every three turns.
He's got a lot of HP too, I used max level Amph, Tyranitar, Zapdos and Aurorus and got it down to about half, but I was pretty unlucky with my combos.
Unlike MAmphy, its power isnt completely fucking useless (who wants to bring fucking dragons with amphy?). And its mega effect is more consistant in my opinion.
Middle of the stage is covered in ice. Just blow through it with this >>24617854 team like I did.
Yes, every day it gets easier. Its vague on how. It could be less health, more turns, or higher catch rate. Still, I beat the stage in one try. Its not that hard. Just make +s, Ts, Ls etc. Two at a time if possible. Try to make 4s with Zapdos.
Shuffle 1.2.23 includes Tornadus, Safari repeat and Rayquaza: http://pastebin.com/KvV862cf

11/13: 29% (+2%/m)
11/14: 34% (+2%/m)

Also, safari is:

28.3%: StageDataEvent #49 (Darumaka)
10%: StageDataEvent #50 (Darmanitan)
28.3%: StageDataEvent #51 (Stantler)
Thanks anons, just beat it with one turn left after getting some decent combos. Tornadus broke out and didn't feel like using a great ball if the catch rate is going up.
Thanks for the team suggestion. Managed to beat it with 0 turns left with M. Manectric. SC activated with a 39 or 49% catch rate, caught it on the second ball. Cheaper than if I did it last day with attack + too.
>Didn't notice tornadus was once a day
>Didnt even win (no bully pls caught me off guard)
>Do pity safari
>Manetric out of nowhere
>M gengar Groudon and Dophan
>Win and get 25% catch rate
>Caught first try
Well at least theres that. Time to grind the cat for tomorrow...
I already beat it using the team listed above
No problem bud.
Manectric's ability is mildly different and mildly better, plus dancing dragons makes amphy useless bevause dragon and electric never SE together.
Like what the other anon said.
They made them really difficult and I was just barely able to defeat them. Actually I got lucky that the combos fell for me to finish them off because I was losing quite a bit. Granbull is one of the worst.
> Allowed items: Time +10 (1000), Mega Speedup (0)
Something is bugged with your dumper.
Anon from earlier (the one who decided to participate for the first time), just wanted to say I got the stone and the candy. What a success! Maybe I should participate in these more often.
Caught all safari Pokemon.
Now to just grind my greatball coins back and start the main stages
After all that difficult stages and nobody's still buying Jewels? Well, we think this is the good time to provide discounts to give you a more fun experience playing Pokemon Shuffle.
Look forward to it!
Considering how luck based mobile coin grinding is I'd go for it. Assuming it comes to 3DS the same way it's only 24500 worth of items, even at 330 only each heart Meowth does better. However, if you're already at max there's no reason not to do it since it should be doable itemless, and even if it were to take some on high level play, you could think of it as converting liquid cash into an investment in items that you can hold on to, letting you bring your coins back up to max so your net worth is higher than 99999 coins. Basically unless you're strapped for coins and need it immediately, it's definitely worth playing.
Goodra's a Dragon-type. They sadly don't have much use in this game, as a plus though, it has an 80 Base and Eject+ as an ability.
Gallade is Base 70 Fighting with Block Smash+ and potential in a Mega.
I used items and didn't have trouble at all. Even caught it with a Great Ball after Super Catch Power triggered.
Probably gonna have a tough time without them. But it's available through the week iirc. (Even notice won't show me how long he'll last once I fought him.)
Tornadus is a Base 70 Flying with Power of 5+
How useful it is remains to be seen. Since there's literally nothing else for me to use it on at the moment. (Why I splurged on the items in the first place.)
Why do mobile players have such a big range of winners for the mega stone +mega speed up in the competitions. I knew there was going to be a competition for mobile soon, but i thought it was going to be as hard as the 3ds. I guess its easier by a lot
Steel without a doubt. It's about time a Steel mega
hopefullybetter than Mawile was released. What I'd really like though is for a Poison or Flying mega, since neither of those types have one right now.
havent tested it at all, but some elements have a weird sound effect, depending on their type of attack (Muk for example makes a dull splash noise since hes poison and a puddle, while Giratina slices the enemy with a dark cut thingy. It may be that Gardevoir has a unique effect by itself, not just its mega, or it could be a combination of mega sound effect + fairy sound effect.
nice scores.. glad to see you improved your US score
my best score was "only" no 50 in JP with smt above 54k. I just couldnt gid gud in the end, no matter how many hearts & items I wasted on this competition...
>we have a shitty ice mega
>we have an amazing niche rock mega
>we have a realy decent/good steel mega (seriously, I want this "LE BP MATTERS ON LE MEGA" meme to end)
>people like >>24618886, >>24618910 and >>24618924 want a fucking steel mega
for what purpose? Do you guys even think about the shit you want one bit?
>i-i only cheat to be part of multiple competitions to get multiple mega s-speedups...
>I w-w-w-would n-never EVER ch-cheat coins, d-diamonds or hearts in
> Honest :)
Have a (You)
anon pls... no offense
Of course I am a shitty supreme fag and inject hearts and items. I dont care for the candy I just wanted to get the best score possible. And even with "unlimited" ressources I still failed and cant gid gud :^(
for what reason?
Only thing you did was push back people who dont cheat and could have used that speed-up which you got 3 times now. Considering that ressources are infinite for you, its not a matter of skill at all.
If there is a god of equality, I hope he will give you some TotalBisquit if you catch my drift
>its not a matter of skill at all
but thats wrong...
According to your assumption I would get into the top5 (or top10) just by playing the stage over and over again with items hoping to get lucky. But I wasted more than 500 full item runs and my best run would only get me 54k points.
There are anons that can do way better than this without relying to cheat in a kids game
Its just a matter of time, considering RNG plays a major roll in it, you have infinite tries with the best-case situation (Full item run, lvl MAX team, Mega has x/x amounts of Mega Speedups) so you can practise till the fingers bleed without any kind of cost (other than time which seems to be not of importance for NEETs like you).
Your skill comes from constantly trying with the best-case. Obviously you get better through that but its not skill itself; you got that skill because of your ressources, so its based on that.
Not to mention the mindset will be different. Me and my little Sister play this game, we both have this problem so Im just going to assume its a common one; If someone with limited ressources and someone with unlimited ressources have to fight something and both have to use up always the same amounts of ressources with each fight, who do you think gets into the fight with a more relaxed mindset and who is more anxious?
You can try to your heart content. Didnt get it right? Eh, another one.
I on the other hand, if I fuck up, i will automaticaly panic which will affect the rest of the run, since the amount (12k which isnt a little) is basically sent down the drain.
Considering that you only got to 54k points after 500 tries, that means you are a REALY awfull player by default, so you have to compensate your lack of any skill with infinite ressources. Just stay in your own country and ruin the boards there.
Thanks, but I didn't improve it kek. I had said it was a 56k remember? I was gonna give some tries on the last 30 minutes but I was too tired (I had just played 2 straight hours of
Smash) and was kinda satisfied with top 10.
you do realize that avengah spends like 150€ a month for shuffle? Something tells me he has more than enough money to compete with hackers.
Nah, Im just angry that I only got 2514 in europe and surly that atleast 14 of them were hackers.
>which you got 3 times now
Actually, someone who participates in multiple scoreboards can only get reward from one of them, the other two scores just waste a space and the reward/candy from a person who didn't git gud. :^)
literally worse than dittos
Everything that is Ice-weak usually has better alternatives.
Blaziken, Charizard, Heracross
Blastoise, though it really depends on the situation.
Ampharos/Manectric, sometimes Aerodactyl
Glalie may not be good, but it's not nearly as bad as some other Megas. It still has use and a semi-decent BP. Mawile has been outclassed for ages and is complete shit in competitions.
Out of those three types, I'd much rather have a new Steel mega over Ice. Though, what I REALLY want is a Flying one.
i was able to defeat him with a level 8 team made by M-Charizard/Ho-oh/Heatran/Lugia but i beated him with only 1 second remaining which gave me a big fat fuck 0,x% chance
no mega catch chance, maybe i should throw in a complexity -1? how scrubby is that?
Probably because most wide disruptions tend to be horizontal. It's pretty much why I never use M-Venusaur and have used M-Luke much, much, much more.
Vertical disruptions don't seem to pop up as often and there are usually better options for clearing them (sans Barrier spam seen in M-Gengar area.)
That's basically what it boils down to: horizontal disruptions are seemingly more common, so M-Lucario is my go-to (unless there's a ton of rocks) so I'd rather see more of that than Kanga clones.
I'm on mobile too, anon
It's already be confirmed. But it look like the way they fixed it is just a cheap hack.
>Please note that at least
>8 days must pass from this
>application's initial launch before
>you can participate in
>competitive stage events.
Accounts created during the competition can't participate.
That way they only have to ban one wave of hackers instead of an endless waves. At least that's what they're hoping. I wouldn't be surprised if the hackers find a way around it.
>not catching em all
by now you should be able to tell the mobile and 3ds versions have different events, see the OP
Even if at least 14 were hackers, cut off was 2300 not 2500. Git gud
confirmed for not trying the mobile comp at all
everyone is on one scoreboard even japan
Fuck this guy, had to buy my first C-1 AND still throw like 4 great ball at him, i'm down 25,000 coin just for him, anyway i tought his version of crowd control was better? Isn't this the same as heracross but with just 10 BP more? Not sure it was worth the effort with cc trigger rate nerfed in mobile
i tought there were two version of crowd control, one called "crowd control" and one called "crowd power" that has a highet trigger rate if you check the doc in the OP it says
17. Crowd Control (20%, 60%, 80%, damage, x50): The more [var]name in the puzzle area, the more damage.
49. Crowd Power (25%, 70%, 90%, damage, x50): The more [var]name in the puzzle area, the more damage.
i tought genesect was supposed to have crowd power and not crowd control
Never. Its a carryover from Trozei. It doesn't really have a purpose in this game besides allowing you to have double 80 CC bugs. We'll be lucky if most mons get their alternate despite meowstic and rotom having them
Well you thought wrong. It's strange because in the 3DS version Crowd Control is better than Crowd Power despite there being nothing with Crowd Power.
Crowd Control (50%, 100%, 100%)
Crowd Power (40%, 100%, 100%)
Decided to use a Mega Start and this fucking happens. Fuck this shit
Your wrong. CC is only 20% on a 3 match.
17. Crowd Control (20%, 100%, 100%, damage, x50): The more [var]name in the puzzle area, the more damage.
49. Crowd Power (40%, 100%, 100%, damage, x50): The more [var]name in the puzzle area, the more damage.
Well fuck me, this whole time I thought it was 50%. I guess I've just been really luck with it, damn.
Don't be a dumbass. That stage is made for that ability, and it gets an itemless S rank when it can be difficult to beat at all without it. Plus M-Kanga got first in the most recent comp for NA :^)
Slightly more useful than the legendary beasts.
Which is to say not at all really. Thundurus completely obsoletes Raikou, but you had no reason to use Raikou in the first place. Tornadus lags behind Braviary, Salamence, Lugia, and at least one 80BP for every single type Flying is SE against.
Landorus will actually be pretty good if he comes soon, but only because he's competing with the mediocre Groudon and the strictly worse Excadrill.
Shuffle Mobile got really fucked for me when I was updating it a couple days ago, now it won't install whatever it downloaded, or return to its previous version.
The next step is to delete and redownload, but I'm pretty sure that'll delete all my progress.
Has anyone had this before? Is there a way to not lose everything?
