Can you idiots fucking read?
>updates on upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS releases
They will only be covering games that have already been revealed, you're just setting yourself up to get btfo'd again.
>Pokemon news is never in Nintendo Direct
So XY, Super Mystery Dungeon, Rumble and ORAS don't count?
> There's always been a separate Pokemon Direct for it
By always do you mean only two times?
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
>E3 2014 Direct
>E3 2013 Direct
>April 2015 Direct
>January 2015 Direct
>May 2015 Direct
You're a faggot, a dumbass, and can eat shit after reading this post
yes it is, there might be the rare occasion where there isn't but generally there always is
the last direct of the year usually has even more new announcements than usual since it's right in the middle between E3s
>post says ORAS
>links a bunch of titles that aren't ORAS
E3 should also be treated very differently to normal directs. I don't think mainlike Pokemon games have ever appeared in directs outside of E3
I used to be so hyped and hopeful for new game announcements, but now I'm starting to feel like I'm going to drop the series. I don't want to hear that retarded bullshit about rushed games, either. You're fucking stupid. XY was in development for like 6 fucking years. Of fucking course Z or whatever the fucking shit has been in development for about that long too. Just fucking release a game, cunts. What the fuck is the problem here?
They've teased everything under the sun from BF with "its under construction" to a new region "souvenir" to Go and we still have NOTHING. Nothing to even speculate about.
What the fucking fuck?
What is the problem here??
Japanese people are retarded and they cant tell the difference if they announce Z now or in 2016. The best way is too keep giving small bits of info, a simple announcement would be call and we have nothing at all except shitty anime.
I hope we don't get Z revealed yet, I personally want more time spent on it just to be safe. After the rest of Gen VI we need to make this last game as unrushed as possible.
I don't care about whether people complain it's rushed, I care about whether it's actually rushed. ORAS was actually rushed, they admitted they spent about a year on it. If we have two years between ORAS and Z, that greatly increases the chance that they'll spend more time on the game to make it better.
he's actually right, it's more likely something gets announced around E3 directs than in the middle of buttfuck nowhere november when it's too late to push holiday 2015 which is what we're going to see: announced holiday 2015 games being pushed to drive sales
It was in the guidebook that came out with ORAS. I'm having a hard time finding the actual guidebook but if you have it you can find the interview in it. The average Pokémon game has two years or more of development and multiple games are developed at the same time (hence all the A-team and B-team talk you used to see but don't anymore) but in the ORAS guidebook interview they mentioned they only spent one year on the game, also mentioning that this is a shorter dev cycle than usual for Pokémon.
There's the possibility that they started working on Z before ORAS came out in which case it would already have longer than one-year of development but I personally want to make sure of that by them holding off the release longer to ensure quality.
First thing: its the first direct in a while and first after Iwata died. They might want to do a big one
Second thing: Pokemon 20th annivesary is at the end of February. Announcing a game for late February/march would make a lot of sense
He's not. The first anon said Pokemon news never comes from directs unless they are Pokemon Directs which was wrong >>24624486
Now anon wants to backpedal and say E3 directs don't count even though we Still got Pokémon nws from directs that weren't e3 >>24624486
i see what you're saying and while it's sensical I just don't think Iwata's passing will be very relevant. Nintendo probably wants to just move on. Additionally if pokemon wanted to do something specific for an anniversary I'd say 25 is more important than 20 being a quarter century and all
Screencapping because your dumbass is going to proven wrong.
Medabots and Digimon in the west, at least?
Nintendo Direct and Pokémon Z Threads everywhere. We need a meme about that.
But I'm very happy about those awesome news. Hopefully we will get something really good and don't forget about the japanese Zygarde-Event, which starts on 12th November. Coincidence?
Over 4 months till the 20th annivesary, Zygarde forme teased since July, all formes revealed in September, japanese Zygarde event starting on 12th, Direct just before CoroCoro, Masuda in Pokenchi just day after CC, all the Zygarde hype in Japan (anime, toys, Tetta Z, even manga teases Z)
>splatoon, smash 4 and mario maker updates confirmed
fine by me lol, I couldn't care less about GF's next badly-optimized no postgame title
Does that mean this guy was right? He even said when the Direct would be before it was announced!
>traditional third version
>story is essentially the same except Lysandre has both Legendaries and the obvious Zygarde stuff
>Perfect Zygarde gets Inverse Aura ability which reverses type effectiveness AND reverses Xerneas and Yveltal's auras
>you get Zygarde core early in the game and you have to defeat Zygarde cells found in the wild
>1 cell = 1% so after defeating 10 cells then core becomes 10% Zygarde and after an additional 40, standard Zygarde
>even if you reach 100 defeated cells before the final battle Zygarde can't become 100% until you beat Team Flare
>new cities and routes with new progression order like in BW2
>35 new Megas, Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, Heliolisk and Victini shown with more teased
>Victini with Victinite is a day one mystery gift event
>unknown amount of new gyms, one known and is Normal type
>new postgame episode similar to Delta Episode where you can catch 'a never before seen Pokemon!' (Volcanion maybe?)
That never stopped them from announcing new stuff though. Last time they said that, there was stuff for like 2015 all the way to 2016 announced, 2016 is also when the NX is supposed to come out too, so that's it. "Upcoming" in any directs from here to mid 2016 or so is possibly anything left on the 3DS/Wii U.
