It was so much darker and mysterious, I had so many friends that I lost contact with because of how the web was setup, people would vanish without a trace. Growing up with no friends my only source of friendship was on the computer, I could easily find people relatable and similar to me, now that the web is full of phone posting scum it's impossible for me to find any sense of friendship. Computer science turned to shit, forums died along with every tiny community, and corporate ran matchmaking servers have taken over every game I once played.
I lost most of my childhood vidya friends to fucking Counter-Strike. We used to play lots of vidya together, of varying genres, and suddenly the faggots would ONLY play counter-strike. I tried playing with them for a little while but playing the same shit over and over just wasn't fun. Some of them played 12 hours straight or more. And they wouldn't play anything else.
The goemon team left Konami in 2005 anyway. They made a great swan song for Goemon with the DS game though, a shame it's still untranslated, but it's amazing.
I hope Good Feel gets to make an original IP for once, so far they've only made Nintendo IPs (all good games though). A spiritual successor to Goemon would be good. Or maybe a rare chance of Konami letting Good Feel make a new Goemon game, but that's highly unlikely. Maybe with the help of Nintendo...

>>2824875 Not OP, but you're right about the items thing. It felt kinda needlessly tedious...I dunno about killing the flow, I think it had a nice atmosphere even if it was a little long for my tastes, maybe 20-30 minutes tops if you want to steal.
>>2824783 Shoot the enemy jets down b4 they launch missiles. Easier said than done I know. Your going to have a better chance staying alive tho if your dodging 1 or 2 missiles compared to 10 flying at you. Keep moving and put on the Afterburners when dodging.
Luv me some AfterBurner but the game can be hard. Good luck OP!
Wanted to post my 2 button joystick I put together using a donor cord from a spectravideo/msx 2 button non-micro switch joystick, a few arcade buttons and a stick I had spare, and a pc psu box. A little light atm but works a treat. Post any 2 button joysticks you have especially for micro-computers.
Meh, it's pretty easy, the music is boring, the slowdown is horrendous, the graphics are poor, the bosses are easy, the platforming is awkward, there are no multiple characters, there are no branching paths, and it is slow even for a SNES game. I would say Rondo of Blood is the best, followed by Dracula's Curse, then New Generation and Chronicles. IV probably places sixth after Vampire's Kiss.
So, me and some nigger were talking about retro video games. A flashback hits me and I remember this kickass game. Anyone ever played it? Looking back now it's seems a little obscure since it seems no one has heard of it.
