What are some oldschool videogames that I can play in 16:9 and/or 480p60?
/vr/ advertisments thread.
I just spent $500 on this game, on my credit card. starting my retro game collection. Is this game actually good as they say?
> not even factory sealed.
Ya done goofed.
Which is the best retro sport game, and why is it Tecmo Super Bowl? Got any suggestion of other sport games that are just fun to play?
also, we are running a poll to update the /vr/ team for the 4chan winter cup https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ehttghV5MQJGyDD7F1RrJvUExZiN9wOi34qLqOwDgM4
Boxing is a sport, so this is the best sports game.
Mario Tennis and Madden NFL Blitz are some of my favorites
>/vr/ roster poll oh shit nigga here we go
Racing is a sport and pic related is the best racing game
Hi, when i was a kid i played a strange game on my Windows 98(i think that was my version) and i cant find his name.
didnt remember so much about it, just 3rd person musculated guy with a loincloth and a rudimentary wooden mallet in a cave. cant remember anything more, but i was veryyoung, sorry, someone knows name? tx m8s
Can anyone please tell me what ps1 game this is?
What does /vr think of Pier Solar?
Have you guys seen this mural?
How in the fuck was I supposed to know to do this. ??you can't tell me you figured it out yourself without being a liar
Can the Star Wars X-Wing/TIE games on GoG be played with a KBM/360 controller fine? Would I need to buy a joystick to play them?
Keyboard and mouse? No.
360 Controller? Manageable but some shots can feel hard to make with a controller. I don't even want to imagine dog fighting the more advance fighters later in the game without a joystick.
I am 99.9 percent sure that a joystick is a requirement, and that there is not option to keyboard/mouse the game. That being said you could use a 360 controller but it will handle like shit.
Invest the 30 bucks to get a Logitech wingman extreme from your local big box or Amazon. That way you can also enjoy classics like wing commander and a ton of other great space/flight sims.
what are some good c64 games? I want to get into c64 emulation but I dont know where to start. I played wolfenstein and liked it quiet a bit though.
Games you played on a whim/only because of the name and what happened from thereon
>Legend of the Mystical Ninja
>Might be cool...
>Haha this is actually fun
>Oh there's a sequel? Japan only?
>Wait a minute, I played this N64 one!
And that's how Ganbare Goemon became one of my favourite series of all time.
Less happy one

He's talking about the ones we got in the west in english.
he's forgetting about Sarawareta Ebisumaru, but that one was only released in Europe and in the year 2000 on a GBC compilation cart, the actual game is from 1991.
So how likely am I to find this thing? I've been playing a lot of MAME now that I've got a
G-Syncdisplay and using a mouse isn't really cutting it, I wanted proper controls for trackball stuff, but I'm not willing to shell out for a big-ass Tankstick.
My buddy is letting me borrow his N64 and I'm having fun, but I had a question. He has games like Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 with saves already on them. I want to play the games fresh, but don't want to delete his saves. Is there any way to do this?
Not really. If your borrowing the stuff, you might as well just play through the games in one sitting or leave the system on/not shutting it off. Or you could buy your own copies if you plan to get your own system eventually anyway.
Can we discuss this game? recently started replaying it and I really want to talk about it .
