>>2897445 >Favorite version is any that doesn't have block holding. It's bullshit that's an official Tetris feature.. Block holding raises skill ceiling because it requires more thought and lets you play at higher speeds.
How do multiple discs work? With FFVII, for example, you have access to the same overworld and the same enemies with the same characters, for the most part, all using the same maps and models. So both discs have to hold all that data, don't they? So what's the extra room for? Cutscenes?

Which retro Terminator games did you like? I loved the Genesis version of the arcade game. I got it for Christmas and it came bundled with a light gun rifle and played the shit out of it. I remember the level where you had to cover the SWAT van from the T1000 in the helicopter being hard as fuck.
I also played the side scroller, which I didn't like because I could never get past the first level. It wasn't until years later that I found out that you had to press up at the phone booth to complete the level. Then again, I only had the cartridge and no manual, so... Comment too long. The SNES doesn't really shine with rgb as much as Segas consoles. S video on the SNES is really very good, using quality cables. Avoid any s video cable that includes a composite video lead...most on eBay or anywhere else online do this so look carefully.
I don't think there are any "hidden gems" as they've been out long enough for their libraries to have been scrutinized over and over for the cream of the crop. I'll hastily list a great game (my subjective opinion) for each console;
Why does this game have so little platforming? Not counting rainbow ride, and the bowser levels, it seems like on every stage only the first star counts as platforming while the rest are padded with gimmicks. They almost all come down shoot yourself out of cannon, put on a green or blue hat to get the star in an obvious location, or just keep taking the same route as star one, but take a small detour (tick tock clock is literally all this).
Look at dire dire docks. Not one of the stars require you to do any platforming except for the pole jumping one.
When Street Fighter 2 first came out on SNES I remember all the big kids claiming that hadouken happens because Ken and Ryu's gesture for it rubs the wrists across each other creating friction resulting in a fireball.
Does anyone else just get tired of the hobby? On one end you got hipster collectors, dumb kids, and ecelebs while on the other you got the scalpers. Video games have changed so much past 4th and 5thgen it’s crazy. I don’t hate change but when the change is shooters like CoD and Halo and all the other things wrong with the industry like DLC. It just makes me not want to be part of it.
The scalpers are what really gets me. No other hobby or industry is that bad. Both modern and old video games. For example, Bayonetta 2 is now going... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>2895279 I just don't pay attention to the opinions of hipsters or kids I think sound dumb. I avoid the games I don't like as well and there are still plenty to play. Also I like DLC. It's almost never necessary, and those games are easily ignored. In some games like fighters, it's great to have the option to update rosters and re-balance characters if necessary. Even in the event that it's a character I don't want to buy, I like that it still gets added as an option for someone else to fight and... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I honestly see nothing in Goldeneye other than being THE game to have fantastic splitscreen gatherings for that specific time. Everything from gameplay and beyond had been long surpassed by other Bond games, Perfect Dark, TimeSplitters, and more.
