Kind of new to ricing, any tip is welcome
Also got around to install a decent theme and a sweet start page, still think it could use some improvements though.
I really like the visualizer so I think I'll stick with it but any other suggestion would be nice!
Rate? Also, how can I change the font in this tint2 config?
I don't stop reading windows can be only riced with bblean + visual themes and I don't stop seeing hardcore windows rices that I'm sure they're not riced only with that. Someone can explain a little more to me? I couldn't find anything more like, for example, cygwin.
>I'm sure they're not riced only with that.
They are. seriously. Cygwin only adds a linux-esque shell instead of using the cmd. Visual Styles and Bblean are the only things you need to rice windows.
AHK doesn't make the windows look any better, it can change how they are laid out and can remove the close, minimize and maximize buttons, but thats all that I've seen it used for around here. It's more for customizing behavior of windows, not the aesthetics. I would argue you can't rice windows with AHK alone, while you can with a visual style or bblean, making AHK a minor (or unnecessary) part of the ricing process.
I've used Gridmove and Winsplit and tiling with AHK is a lot better imo, Windows Spy makes moving windows where you want extremely easy, you can also use AHK to make hotkeys to open certain programs.
It's painfully easy to use, install AHK, find a script on nanami to play with, save script, run script, just google and read about it.
stock, classic, clean
better than yours for sure
jealousy is a sin
how about my laptop, I run linux on that
if you don't like 1366x768 then you're probably gay
since you don't like lolis, you're certainly gay
OK, rather than shitting up this thread every few days with a question that usually gets ignored, here's everything that I haven't figured out from lurking:
- is Ubuntu really so bad that I should just quit and install Xubuntu?
- what music player are you guys using?
- The /g/ wiki page on rice is pretty sparse and the faq is outdated, so if you guys could share some of the resources you used to learn how2rice in Linux that would be nice.
Thanks, I will be looking at the manpages and ncmpcpp.
It's just that Ubuntu seems to be the least lightweight distro, and /g/ denounces it as spyware. Not that it matters for a movie/music rig
I assure you I enjoy big booty bitches. Although sometimes my reverence/envy of men who are "a man's man" such as Daniel Craig makes me question my sexuality
Posted this in the other thread
First time ricing, any tips?
my games though
been there done that. It's a pain in the ass to keep going back and forth.
Fucked around with arch install in virtualbox but it just wasn't the same as 'one the metal'
I've got no idea about coding or anything. Just install bblean, get a custom theme that looks kinda cool. Enable and disable shit through right click menu
Go into menu.rc and bbstyle maker and edit shit through there. It is honestly quite simple. Took me about 3 hours to get my desktop looking how i've dreamt of it ever since I started looking at desktop threads.
I was wondering if someone have a stylish teamplate to change firefox colours. I'm actually using FT Deep Dark and I changed my themed colour a little, so I would like to try to match with my windows theme.
Also, I'm using pix_ light, and trying to change the color, I realized that the colour will be always darker (because of the VS).
Someone knows how can I "calculate" what color I have to use to get close to the one using in bbZero?
I googled colorpicker, but it is not at 100% what I'm searching for.
For example, the VS start color I think it is 1b1b1b (or 27 27 27 as you want). So, I would like some tool, that helps me to check if TheColorIChosee + 1b1b1b = The OtherColorIWant
Why? Because I want to match VS color with bbZero, but the VS have standard 1b1b1b value, so I have to choose another colour under the bbZero color. I don't know if I am explainning right, english is not my 1st language.
Also, the template for Stylish, is to know the classes I have to edit to get some colours. I can't figure out good how DOM it works.
been customizing my computer over the last few days, i feel as though I'm missing something on here.
What do you guys think? Just feels like theres something else I can do to it.
I like this CAD thing, first time using it.
Was going to go with Litestep over rainmeter this time, but that was just madness. Just googled RM Visualizers, yeah they look like shit, not my taste.
indeed, totally gay, cos I dont like preteens.
Yup MASSIVE gaylord.
I mean, i cant even begin to figure out what to do with all these dicks flying towards me! So many dicks... so little time
now, is the male sex organs involved with this hypothesis of yours? Or is it just a bar, you don't like it you're gay, regardless of whether you possess a cock?
Or does not liking this, also make carriers of vaginas gay?
It's just bait. No need to respond to it.
I do think your desktop isn't very good for various reasons but when it's put that way it's really just /g/ shitposting.
Not necessarily the point I was making but that is the type of shitpost that does come from /g/, not that anon necessarily is a shitposter from /g/ or that all shitposters come from /g/.
Although, I also recognize your reverse bait but can't really be arsed to care.
How do I do the following to my start bar in windows 10?
- make it transparent
- icons are white borders - not colorful
- center all icons
- fuck around with all the notification an clock shit on the right of the task bar?
only thing i need to change is the popcorn time icon and give it a slightly darker color
lazy and using Ubuntu here..
what is your experiences with a tiling window manager like?
i have been meaning to try one out just not got the balls to force myself to use it enough to get used to it.
changed things up for maximum rice
Not exactly wallpaper res, but I think it stretches nicely.
How did you add those notifications (wifi/battery) in bblean? I've been searching literally a year for that, it's the only thing that stopped me from using bblean on my laptop as it was a pain to check battery settings each time
