"Established in 2010, “Paranthropology: Journal of Anthropological Approaches to the Paranormal" is a free on-line journal devoted to the promotion of social-scientific approaches to the study of paranormal experiences, beliefs and phenomena in all of their varied guises. The journal aims to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue on issues of the paranormal, so as to move beyond the sceptic vs. advocate impasse which has settled over the current debate, and to open new avenues for enquiry and understanding.
Paranthropology holds no standard position on these issues and all views expressed are those of the each particular author. Paranthropology is devoted to an open-minded and exploratory perspective on a wide range of experiences, beliefs and phenomena often called paranormal, supernatural or anomalous."
"It is not the (primary) aim of AntiMatters to “convert” die-hard materialists. Instead, the Journal offers non-materialists the opportunity of a stimulating exchange of views. It invites comments on articles accepted for publication and encourages comments on published articles. Authors will of course be allowed to respond to comments.
Discussions of “anomalies,” which are neglected or ignored by mainstream science, also fall within the scope of the Journal."
"Welcome to the official website for Darklore, a journal of exceptional observations, hidden history, the paranormal and esoteric science. Bringing together some of the top researchers and writers on topics from outside of mainstream science and history, Darklore will challenge your preconceptions by revealing the strange dimensions veiled by consensus reality."
'If you want to learn about what’s at the core of life, the essential and ultimate universal values beneath all the distractions, deceptions and delusions, then ask the living dead. No, I don’t mean zombies. From my experience zombies have little to offer when it comes to finding the deeper meaning of life. I am referring instead to the testimony of near-death experiencers, people who have been physically dead for short periods of time, glimpsed human incarnation from the outside, and come back to their bodies.'
>>14854885 David Bohm, eminent physicist and intellectual who conceived of the Implicate Order:
In this 1978 interview David Bohm talks to Evelyn Blau about his relationship with Krishnamurti. Bohm had already begun to question the division between the thinker and the products of thinking when in 1959 he came upon Krishnamurti's book Freedom from the Known. This led Bohm to seek out Krishnamurti and instigated a series of dialogues between the two men over many years, many which have been published in book form such as The Ending of Time.
In the latter part of the interview Bohm goes into depth concerning the question of the observer and the observed.
The notion of a separate organism is clearly an abstraction, as is also its boundary. Underlying all this is unbroken wholeness even though our civilization has developed in such a way as to strongly emphasize the separation into parts. –with Basil J. Hile, The Undivided Universe.
What is under discussion here is, of course, not merely a way of understanding and working with parapsychological phenomena. It is a different self-world view, emerging out of modern physics and yet going beyond the restrictive framework from which modern physics grew. In this way, the discoveries of modern physics come to give support to the movement in which the rigid division between observer and observed can be dropped—a movement that could evidently be the beginning of a fundamental change in [our understanding of] consciousness itself. -The Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research, Vol. 80, No. 2, pp. 113-135
Consciousness is much more of the implicate order than is matter . . . Yet at a deeper level [matter and consciousness] are actually inseparable and interwoven , just as in the computer game the player and the screen are united by participation. -Statement of 1987, as quoted in Towards a Theory of Transpersonal Decision-Making in Human-Systems (2007) by Joseph Riggio, p. 66
"Cosmic Creativity - Art is an echo of the creative force that births the galaxies. Creativity is the way that the Cosmos evolves and communicates with Itself. The great uplifting of humanity beyond its self-destruction is the redemptive mission of art."
>>14856592 "Parmenides [of Velia, a.k.a. Elea] wrote a poem.
It would be easy to imagine the father of philosophy producing very different things.
But he just wrote a poem.
He wrote it in the metre of the great epic poems of the past — poetry created under divine inspiration, revea1ing what humans on their own can never see or know, describing the world of gods and the world of humans and the meetings between humans and gods.
And he wrote it in three parts. The first part describes his journey to the goddess who has no name. The second describes what she taught him about reality. Then the last part starts with the goddess saying, Now I’m going to deceive you; and she goes on to describe, in detail, the world we believe we live in."
>>14856794 With the goddess, things are very different. . . Her words are spoken not out of restlessness and searching but out of completeness. And this is why they keep exerting such an uncanny attraction: because we long for that completeness even while trying to analyze or tear it apart. Her awareness, itself, is complete. She starts from being and ends exactly where she began — with being in all its perfection and completion. And this is just how things have to be, because in reality we never find out more or discover anything with time.
Everything is already present in the beginning. Reality is perfect, complete. But we are lost in its perfection, trapped in its completeness while imagining we are free. And there is nothing we can do to change it — to make it less perfect, or more — except by making one decision. The only choice we have, our single real freedom, is to decide whether to participate in it consciously or be at its mercy; whether to help complete the circle through our own awareness or just stay lost inside it.
Reality is our problem and also our answer. For, as always, the answer to the problem lies not in running away from it — there is simply nowhere to run to — but in turning to face it.
>>14856876 But there were a few other scholars who had a little more respect for what Parmenides actually says. They saw the craziness of this supposed solution and realized there is not the slightest reason for doubting that, when the goddess mentions ‘mortals’, she means exactly what she says she is referring to: humanity as a whole. They even went on to define these mortals with the finest eloquence as ‘all who are unacquainted with the divine’; ‘who unconsciously get confused into contradictions because they take the changeable world for true reality’; ‘who only see their daily surroundings but cannot see through them’.
And this is the furthest anyone has ventured to go.
All the elements of the equation are there. The figures are waiting to be added up. But nobody has wanted to see the result — which is that Parmenides is not describing some theoretical abstraction, some sample cross-section of humanity, any more than he is pointing the finger at one isolated figure in the past.

First watch this please: The Karma of Untruthfulness Documentary - feat. Terry Boardman (Rudolf Steiner media studies) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVb2ky9qYKk
>The Karma of Untruthfulness was a series of 25 lectures given by the Austrian spiritual scientist Rudolf Steiner on the causes of the first world war. This documentary looks at some of the key ideas that Steiner presented to his listeners in relation to media studies and demonstrates that they are just as relevant today as they were in 1916.
Then you might feel liike reading the lectures themselves.
get into anything Dr. Rudolf Steiner wrote. Find his lectures books. Ask questions here. I ll try to do my best to answer them.
>Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), founder of Anthroposophy, whose influence has gone far beyond ‘occult’ circles for his prominence in alternative education, architecture, and organic agriculture, was one of those seminal personalities who believed in the existence of such an ‘occult war’. Again, as with Crowley, difficulties are encountered due to Steiner’s own affiliations with Freemasonry.9 However, Steiner, like Guenon, Evola, Levi and Crowley, forthrightly sought to expose a Dark current at work within the secret societies, and in particular within Freemasonry, whose influence was being directed in the world politically.
Below quote taken from the Lecture Dr. Rudolf Steiner held July the 28th 1924 in Dornach Switzerland. http://wn.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA237/English/RSP1977/19240728p01.html >Then there arose under the leadership of Michael something which we may call, as we must use earthly expressions, a super-sensible School. What had once been the Michael Mystery — what had been told to the Initiates in the ancient Mysteries of Michael, and must now become different, since the Intelligence had found its way from the cosmos to the earth — all this Michael himself now gathered up, expressing it again with untold significance to those whom he had gathered around him in this School of Michael. For it was a super-sensible School of Michael at the beginning of the 15th century. All that once lived as the Michael Mystery in the Sun Mysteries now became alive again in super-sensible worlds. It was a wonderful summing-up of the Platonism that had been continued in the Aristotelian manner, and of all that Alexander the Great had carried into Asia and down into Egypt. It was expounded how the ancient spirituality still lived in this. In this super-sensible School all the souls took part who had ever been connected with the stream of which I have now been speaking to you in many lectures. I mean the souls who are now predestined to belong to the Anthroposophical Movement, — whose karma, as it takes shape, leads them to the Anthroposophical Movement. For all that was taught in that School was taught from this point of view, that in the evolution of humanity below, the Michael principle must thenceforth be developed in a different way, namely through the Intelligence of the human soul itself.
wait... Reading "The fairy tale of the GREEN SNAKE and the BEAUTIFUL LILY" by rosicrucian Johann Wolfgang Goethe might be best start into the GREEN Illumination. http://wn.rsarchive.org/RelAuthors/GoetheJW/GreenSnake.html Read here the explanation of this lecture by Dr. Rudolf Steiner in these two lectures.
>Goethe gave expression to this in his “West-Ostlichen Divan,” and this he tries to represent in all the different parts of the “Fairy Tale” of the “Green Serpent and the Beautiful Lily!” The transition of man from one stage of existence to a higher one. That was the riddle he wanted to solve, the riddle as to how a man who lives in the everyday world, — and who can only see with his eyes, and hear with his ears, — can lay hold of this “dying and becoming!”
>>14858196 green pill sacrifices himself all the time... that what makes him the greenpill... >"To sacrifice myself rather than be sacrificed," replied the Snake; "promise me that thou wilt leave no stone on shore." (...) >Amid this solemnity, this happiness and rapture, no one had observed that it was now broad day; and all at once, on looking through the open portal, a crowd of altogether unexpected objects met the eye. A large space surrounded with pillars formed the forecourt, at the end of which was seen a broad and stately Bridge stretching with many arches across the River. It was furnished, on both sides, with commodious and magnificent colonnades for foot-travellers, many thousands of whom were already there, busily passing this way or that. The broad pavement in the centre was thronged with herds and mules, with horsemen and carriages, flowing like two streams, on their several sides, and neither interrupting the other. All admired the splendour and convenience of the structure; and the new King and his Spouse were delighted with the motion and activity of this great people, as they were already happy in their own mutual love. (...) >"Remember the Snake in honour," said the Man with the Lamp; "thou owest her thy life; thy people owe her the Bridge, by which these neighbouring banks are now animated and combined into one land. Those swimming and shining jewels, the remains of her sacrificed body, are the piers of this royal bridge; upon these she has built and will maintain herself."
To be precise: every conceivable measurement outcome has a probability greater than zero unless it violates a conservation law. Physics therefore never explains how something is possible, let alone “how nature does it.” It only explains — via its conservation laws — why certain things won’t happen. But this is exactly what one would expect if the force at work in the world were an omnipotent force operating under self-imposed constraints. There would then be no reason to be surprised by the apparent impossibility of explaining the quantum-mechanical correlations laws — to account for them in terms of mechanisms or processes — for it would be self-contradictory to explain the working of an omnipotent force. What needs to be explained is why this force works under self-imposed constraints, and why under this particular set of constraints.
As we have seen, the purpose of this particular set of constraints is to allow for the existence of stable objects that “occupy space” even though they are made of finite numbers of objects that do not “occupy space.”
But why are objects that “occupy space” made of finite numbers of objects that do not “occupy space”? One possible answer is, to set the stage for the adventure of evolution. According to Sri Aurobindo, evolution presupposes involution, and the final outcome of the process of involution is the creation of a universe in which objects that “occupy space” are made of a finite number of formless objects and obey the well-established physical laws, at least initially.
Compare this to the Ontic Structural Realism discussed in Every Thing Must Go by Ladyman and Ross:
"Ontic Structual Realism (OSR) is the view that the world has an objective modal structure that is ontologically fundamental ... According to OSR, even the identity and individuality of objects depends on the relational structure of the world. ... There are no things. Structure is all there is."
" OSR as we develop it is in principle friendly to a naturalized version of Platonism. ... One distinct, and very interesting, possibility is that as we become truly used to thinking of the stuff of the physical universe as being patterns rather than little things, the traditional gulf between Platonistic realism about mathematics and naturalistic realism about physics will shrink or even vanish. ... [Bertrand Russell] was first and foremost a Platonist. But as we pointed out there are versions of Platonism that are compatible with naturalism; and Russell’s Platonism was motivated by facts about mathematics and its relationship to science, so was PNC [Principle of Naturalistic Closure] -compatible."
Green Pill has his preachy moments too. But I get what you mean, Iron Pill makes a long speech every single comic before killing niggers with his thu'um or whatever while Green Pill comics tend to focus more on the comedy and the action.
Hi This guy posted this on /pol/ along with a set of pictures on how to make DMT here >>32133361
This however caught my attention even more "read about how things react to us noticing them and how our intentions affect the world(s) under our nose." because I recently read some stuff about the double slit experiement and the Bohr-Einstein debate. I dont want purely physics stuff but physics stuff applied to consciousness as Ive been experiencing some strange synchronicities lately Id love any source of info Im sure Ill build from there
The Journal of Nonlocality has been set up to address an experimental and conceptual impasse in understanding the nature of nonlocality and observer effects in quantum mechanics. In conjunction with ICRL’s Mind-Matter Mapping Project, we hope to create a research venue where cutting-edge experimental tools in physics, biology and parapsychology can be combined to design more revealing protocols; to bypass the experimental difficulties identified by Wheeler and Bell; and to cast new light on the role that these effects play in genetic regulatory systems, placebo, anomalous perception and retrocausality.

Started reading for the first time since I left school 8 years ago.
Am I gonna make it /x/?
(Also I can't believe Sun and Steel is only 100 pages. I paid $15 for it and it's a copy from the 80s with some minor damage. According to the back it costs $7. So I've actually paid over the RRP. But it was the only one on ebay)
William Morgan and Douglas Bolles host a lively weekly conversation in which they naturally discuss "the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything" with the interesting authors, thinkers, syncers and philosophers of our day. The show is recorded live on Tuesday mornings at 11:11 a.m. (Eastern standard time), and has its genesis in a series of discussions regarding The Sync Book, of which, both hosts are authors.
"The International Journal of Transpersonal Studies (IJTS) is dedicated to theory, research, practice, and discourse in the area of transpersonal studies. Transpersonal studies may be generally described as a multidisciplinary movement concerned with the exploration of higher consciousness, expanded self/identity, spirituality, and human potential.
IJTS publishes original theoretical, analytic, methodological, empirical (both qualitative and quantitative), practice-oriented, and artistic articles that focus upon topics falling within the domain of transpersonal studies. IJTS is committed to maintaining a focus on transpersonal experience, concepts, and practices while embracing theoretical, methodological, and cross-disciplinary pluralism; that is, IJTS is committed to ensure that the fullest possible range of approaches to inquiry and expression are represented in the articles published. Though there is no restriction on who may publish in the IJTS, emphasis is given to the publication of articles from a spectrum of international contributors and from varying disciplinary perspectives."
This website is dedicated to countering the dogmatic and frequently ill-informed attacks levelled by self-styled skeptics on parapsychology and pioneering researchers in general. We take the view that 'my mind is made up - don't confuse me with facts' is not a useful premise from which to conduct a reasoned debate. As well as investigating skeptics, we look at ways in which scientific objectivity is compromised by vested interests, fraud, experimenter effects and merchants of doubt, who use skepticism as a weapon to further corporate interests. We also explore current controversies and look at open-minded investigations, which use the scientific method to investigate the unknown. -
What is "debunkery?" Essentially it is the attempt to debunk (invalidate) new fields of discovery by substituting scientistic rhetoric for scientific inquiry.
While informed skepticism is an integral part of the scientific method, professional debunkers -- often called "kneejerk skeptics" -- tend to be skeptics in name only, and to speak with little or no authority on the subject matter of which they are so passionately skeptical. At best, debunkers will occasionally expose other people's errors; but for the most part they purvey their own brand of pseudoscience, fall prey to their own superstition and gullibility, and contribute little to the actual advancement of knowledge. As such, they well and truly represent the Right Wing of science.
To throw this reprobate behavior into bold -- if somewhat comic -- relief, I have composed a useful "how-to" guide for aspiring debunkers. This manual includes special sections devoted to debunking extraterrestrial intelligence, alternative healing methods, astrology and "free energy." I spotlight these fields not because I necessarily support all related claims, but because they are among the most aggressively and thoughtlessly debunked subjects in the whole of modern history.
"n the early 1990s, I became totally fascinated with the fantastic ideas that coursed through much of the budding cyberculture, from virtual reality shamans to Extropian transcendentalists to ravers and technopagans and cyberspace mythologists. The more I looked into the cultural history of media technology, however, the more I discovered strange pockets of mystical technoculture, and my book explores those largely unacknowledged stories and influences.
Ranging from the printing press to the telegraph, from radio to the Internet, TechGnosis peels away the utilitarian shell of technology to reveal the mystical and millennialist expectations that permeate the history of technology, and especially information technology. The book shows how the religious imagination, far from disappearing in our supposedly secular age, continues to feed the utopian dreams, apocalyptic visions, digital phantasms, and alien obsessions that populate today's "technological unconscious." In turn, TechGnosis also shows how the language and ideas of the information society have shaped and even transformed many aspects of contemporary spirituality. In the end, the book gestures towards a vision of "the network path": a global, pluralistic perspective capable of grappling with some of the forces that are currently tearing us apart: spirit and science, modernity and nihilism, technology and the human.
TechGnosis was tough to write, but I think it's a blast to read."

>There are dozens of conspiracy theories about President Obama – Born in Kenya. Is a citizen of Indonesia. Is Muslim. Is a communist. Is a witch. Is the Antichrist. But there is one conspiracy that is real and bigger than any of conspiracies previously published. The project actually started under the Bush Administration, but continues under, and is approved by, the Obama Administration. Its code name is FunVax. It stands for Fundamentalism Vaccine. FunVax is a Department of Defense project started in 2004. It’s purpose was to eliminate terrorism in the Middle East. The method – genetically manipulating people of faith causing them to give up their beliefs.
Dr. Rudolf Steiner said this in a lecture long time ago. The lecture is called "The Fallen Spirits’ Influence in the World" held in Dornach, 27th October 1917 >Today, bodies are vaccinated against one thing and another; in future, children will be vaccinated with a substance which it will certainly be possible to produce, and this will make them immune, so that they do not develop foolish inclinations connected with spiritual life — ‘foolish’ here, of course, in the eyes of materialists.

Iron pill represents masculine power, unshakable conviction, "might is right" mentality and the total eradication of the Id by the super ego.
The unshakeable conviction provides a powerful source of energy. "Might is right" is a pragmatic approach to life realizing that those who rule have the guns. However the unbending nature of the Iron pill world view tends to be their undoing. While social Darwinists tout survival of the fittest, in reality it is about being adapted to ones environment according to true Darwinism which leads to success. Being adaptable requires being able to change which the Iron pill perceptive abhors because according to them there is only one way. They live in a world of absolutes but reality is a world of probabilities.
>>14869951 Prove that to me, please. It could be a double-lie to discredit all those who dare to talk about this kind of idea. I also think that the regular vaccines already have this kind of effect on children. Dr. Rudolf Steiner explains that the asuric spirits inspire the scientists. The scientists don´t know or are aware what they are actually doing. Happens all the time.
The audio completely doesn't match with the speaker and the presentation he is giving for "before and after" effects is a picture of a single brain from a text book discussion meth addiction printed years after this was allegedly "filmed". It is a hoax.
Obviously none of that is going to be anything that will make you even think twice though, as you want to believe this is real. Which is fine. It's not though.
(The video that is, perhaps "vaccine" and the general theories are true, I have no idea)
>>14870614 Ok. Thanks. Anyway. I still trust Dr. Steiner on that. Here is another quote from the same lecture from 1917:
>These, as I said, are the beginnings in the field of literature. The whole trend goes in a direction where a way will finally be found to vaccinate bodies so that these bodies will not allow the inclination towards spiritual ideas to develop and all their lives people will believe only in the physical world they perceive with the senses. Out of impulses which the medical profession gained from presumption — oh, I beg your pardon, from the consumption they themselves suffered — people are now vaccinated against consumption, and in the same way they will be vaccinated against any inclination towards spirituality. This is merely to give you a particularly striking example of many things which will come in the near and more distant future in this field — the aim being to bring confusion into the impulses which want to stream down to earth after the victory of the spirits of light.
I ll try to find the quote in which he cleary states that the scientists will be inspired by the fallen spirits and not aware of the effects of the vaccinations they are developing.

It’s been over six weeks since we last heard from Joey and unfortunately our fears were realized. Four weeks ago, Joey Lambardi was arrested in Argentina. One of the contributors of this blog got a call from Joey’s mother this weekend. Joey was not allowed to make any calls, but he was able to get word to his mother through another prisoner.
The guy who wanted to make that doc-film was arrested? Where is he now?

>Steiner: I have told you that the spirits of darkness are going to inspire their human hosts, in whom they will be dwelling, to find a vaccine that will drive all inclination towards spirituality out of people’s souls when they are very young, and this will happen in a roundabout way through the living body. Today, bodies are vaccinate against one thing and another; in future, children will be vaccinated with a substance which it will certainly be possible to produce, and this will make them immune, so that they do not develop foolish inclinations connected with spiritual life ‘foolish’ here, of course, in the eyes of materialists.

'These pages attempt, first, to report the laboratory results. Nevermind that they don't make any intuitive sense. Those are the results. You should know how nature behaves. Second, we attempt to make sense of the results -- cavalierly disregarding the advice of many a learned sage counseling that we would do better just to forget about it. The focus is on information, as has been recommended by many physicists. The conclusion here is that the universe is both information and information processing. The universe is the manifestation of a computer and its programming.
If the universe is a computer running along conventional programming lines, then who are we? And who programmed this virtual reality simulation? And why? That is philosophy, certainly. And it is religion. And it is still science. '
'A paradox free interpretation of quantum mechanics is given using the philosophy of monistic idealism. This idealistic interpretation is developed as an ontological extension of the Copenhagen interpretation, and it is shown to correct the dualistic errors made by Wigner and others who have tried to invoke consciousness in quantum measurement theory. I also compare the idealistic interpretation with such realistic alternatives as the hidden variables theory or the many-worlds hypothesis that are closest to the present idea in spirit. The new interpretation leads to a new way of thinking about the mind-brain and our self-reference problems.' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKzIT3S7wWA
As for my own collaboration on adinkras, the path my colleagues and I have trod since the early 2000s has led me to conclude that codes play a previously unsuspected role in equations that possess the property of supersymmetry. This unsuspected connection suggests that these codes may be ubiquitous in nature, and could even be embedded in the essence of reality. If this is the case, we might have something in common with the Matrix science-fiction films, which depict a world where everything human beings experience is the product of a virtual-reality-generating computer network.
If that sounds crazy to you – well, you could be right. It is certainly possible to overstate mathematical links between different systems: as the physicist Eugene Wigner pointed out in 1960, just because a piece of mathematics is ubiquitous and appears in the description of several distinct systems does not necessarily mean that those systems are related to each other. The number pi, after all, occurs in the measurement of circles as well as in the measurement of population distributions. This does not mean that populations are related to circles.
Yet for a moment, let us imagine that this alternative Matrix-style world contains some theoretical physicists, and that one of them asks, “How could we discover whether we live inside a Matrix?”. One answer might be “Try to detect the presence of codes in the laws that describe physics.” I leave it to you to decide whether Wigner’s warning should be applied to the theoretical physicists living in the Matrix – and to us.
The new age of the 'occult' is found in science and psychology and requires extreme study, we have moved passed traditional 'occult/alchemy'. People need to move on. But they won't, because it is very, very hard and requires extreme amounts of education, intelligence, study, and discipline.
Not that I should talk, I'm not going down the road either...but maybe soon...
"A study published last year in the Journal of Neuroquantology, which focuses on issues of neuroscience and physics, recorded some very interesting results when it comes to EVPs and pareidolia. Conducted by Anabela Cardoso, a self-professed skeptic of EVPs, the study still found evidence that EVPs could be more than just our brains making erroneous conclusions out of auditory nonsense."
>>14871921 A Conversation with Shannon Taggart: Photographer of Séances, Spirits and Ectoplasm
He was seated in front of a low red light,” she said. The room was dark, otherwise. After twenty minutes, the medium’s wife announced that spirits were going to begin working with his hands. Taggart remembered the next moment very clearly: “He just brought out his hand. What I saw, with my eyes, was this regular hand just very gently and instantly —skip gigantic.”
“I screamed out loud,” she continued. “Which is very impolite in a séance situation.”
Taggart’s photographs have appeared in outlets such as Readers Digest, Discover Magazine and the New York Times. She’s captured dance auditions and artists’ portraits. Her approach is often unusual, and frequently relies on long exposure times, producing hallucinatory doublings, strange auras and smears of motion as her subjects move. When she photographed Garforth, the long exposure was mostly done to compensate for a lack of light. The resulting images are jittery and blurred — Garforth moved around. They also show the medium holding up a single, grotesquely inflated hand.
“I had that experience of seeing that hand get large,” she explained. “I don’t know how it happened. Whether it’s a hand actually getting large in front of my face and I was creating a photograph that documented it, or whether it’s that I was tricked somehow or I had a hypnotic experience and then my camera, through its dysfunction, mimicked that experience… I mean, all of those are interesting perspectives. I love that they’re all there.” She’s been catching similarly ambiguous situations for over a decade.
'Spirit mediumship is a complex, near universal phenomenon (see Talking With the Spirits: Ethnographies from Between the Worlds for a cross-cultural snapshot of just a few of the world’s mediumship traditions), which, despite over 130 years of investigation from psychical research and the social sciences more generally, continues to evade scholarly attempts to pin it down and neatly explain it. Countless attempts have been made, however, from the debunkers who suggest that all mediumship is a mixture of fraud and delusion, to the social anthropologists who argue that spirit mediumship is a purely social phenomenon, performing specific social functions, and certain parapsychologists who suggest that spirit mediumship offers proof of survival after death. And yet, none of the theories that have been put forward quite seem able to offer a fully satisfying explanation for what is going on.
In this series of short articles I would like to highlight some of the reasons why spirit mediumship is such a difficult phenomenon to get a grip on through outlining some of the research that has been conducted, and pointing out gaps in our understanding of the underlying processes. This first article will present an overview of the, really rather sparse, neuroimaging data on spirit mediumship, and will briefly discuss what it does and doesn’t tell us about the phenomenon.'
" This field may be a bomb with a delayed fuse that is getting ready to explode in the very heart of materialistic medicine. A few medical insiders are raising the possibility that something heretofore unthinkable may be going on, such as a nonlocal, collective aspect of consciousness that links distant individuals. Among them is Dr Robert S. Bobrow, a courageous clinical associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at New York's Stony Brook University. In discussing the spread of obesity in his article "Evidence for a Communal Consciousness" in Explore in 2011, he says, "Frankly, obesity that develops from social connection, without face-to-face interaction, suggests emotional telepathy."30
If these experiments don't take your breath away, they should. They suggest that human isolation is a myth, and that human consciousness can manifest in the world beyond the brain. We are linked, united, entangled."

In my opinion the holocaust was one of the worst things that happened to modern europe. as bad as it was for the jews, they've recovered and now they have their own country, europe, and especially germany, got it worse, because that was what influenced them to become extra tolerant, but what most of them don't understand is that not tolerating bullshit from people who try to ruin them is not the same as harassing and killing people because of their race or skin color, it will not pave a way to such things, it won't change what happened and won't make up for it.
tl;dr muslims assholes, race=\=religion, sending them home=\=holocaust
>>14854885 Quantum Jazz Biology - Interview with Dr. Mae-Wan Ho
I use the analogy of ‘quantum jazz’ to express the quantum coherence of the organism. It goes through a fantastic range of space and time scales, from the tiniest atom or subatomic particle to the whole organism and beyond. Organisms communicate with other organisms, and are attuned to natural rhythms, so they have circadian rhythms, annual rhythms, and so on. At the other extreme, you have very fast reactions that take place in femtoseconds. And all these rhythms are coordinated, there is evidence for that.
Of course, you can never find a non-living example of this kind. You find bits of it in solid state systems that can become coherent in a few frequencies. You find bits of it in, say, a tuned radio. When a radio is tuned, you can receive the signal that you are attuned to. The organism is tuned to all the frequencies simultaneously.
If you look at the heartbeat, it is actually a reflection of all the frequencies in the body, which makes it appear superficially to be highly irregular (see The Heartbeat of Health and other articles in the series, SiS 35). But if you analyze the heartbeat with the right mathematical tools, you can extract just the kind of multimode quantum coherence characteristic of the living organism. That’s what is so fascinating.
I roll my eyes at traditional occultists. They have no fucking clue about science. I hear them all the time talking about science as if they are some authority but they make some blatant errors. Probably the most egregious error are violations of conservation of energy. When anyone claims they can manifest out of thin air then it's total bullshit. Transmutation however is the name of the game. Using ones will to steer towards certain probable realties is another.
Things is reality have to manifest according to the laws of nature. Physical matter combines to form atoms, to molecules, to cells, to humans. Human experience creates the mental plane, the mental plane gives rise to the spiritual. Sprits are living thought forms that exist within our collective concisinous but they can not exist without human minds and human minds can not exist without physical matter.
>>14874683 >I roll my eyes i bet you do. it's why you can see almost 180 degrees in front of you without having to move your neck. thank your monkey ancestors for learning how to hunt and evade predators after coming down from the trees for that. then stop being a pretentious cunt about anything ever.
>>14876066 I respect the knowledge our ancestors handed us. By traditional occultists I mean post 18th century when natural philosophy split into science and mysticism/religion. These two should be reconciled as they are incomplete without the other.
One thing I'm wary about is her belief that side effects are enough to forgo certain medications taken by her husband. I wish she'd gone into detail about which medications she's talking about, and for what illnesses/symptoms, and what level of expertise in biology is necessary to make these judgements over doctors.
Anyway, regarding biology here's more of her work:
>>14876532 For me, it means being into fringe topics, conspiracy theories and the paranormal, but not allowing yourself to fall prey to paranoia or delusions of persecution and retaining a good humor about the mystery that is existence.
I did it by taking 300mg of DXM and watching Zeitgeist: The Movie. Yeah, i know, shitty choice (I've heard it called Socialist/Zionist propaganda and be accused of factual inaccuracies, most notably the connection between Jesus and Horus, but i digress.) but its introduced me to the whole centralized banking/federal revers thing and opened my eyes about 9/11. Read in to things like Sandy Hook, 9/11, The Aurora Shooting, Centralized banking, One World Government and shit about UFO's. Maybe get in to some esoteric shit too.
The knock on parapsychology studies has long been that any so-called evidence of ESP is usually limited to negligible effects only detectable after scouring massive bodies of data. "Those to whom this criticism has any appeal should be aware that the Maimonides experiments are clearly exempt from it," wrote Irvin Child, Yale's former psychology department chair, in American Psychologist, the APA's flagship journal. "I believe many psychologists would, like myself, consider the ESP hypothesis to merit serious consideration and continued research if they read the Maimonides reports for themselves."
"Cosmic creation is horrendously wasteful. In the existential balance between the forces of destruction and the forces of construction, there is no contest. The dark side is overwhelming. By quantitative physical measures of matter and energy content, there is far more chaos than cosmos in our universe. But it is the cosmos that we prize.
Information philosophy focuses on the qualitatively valuable information structures in the universe. The destructive forces are entropic, they increase the entropy and disorder. The constructive forces are anti-entropic. They increase the order and information.
The fundamental question of information philosophy is therefore cosmological and ultimately metaphysical.
What creates the information structures in the universe?
At the starting point, the arch? (? ????), the origin of the universe, all was light - pure radiation, at an extraordinarily high temperature. As the universe expanded, the temperature of the radiation fell. When the first material particles formed, they were quickly destroyed by energetic photons of light. But at low enough temperatures, the quantum cooperative constructive forces were able to overcome the destructive non-material particles of light energy, the radiation field of photons.
The great stability of the material world is thus the result of quantum mechanics, although most philosophers and even many scientists normally view quantum mechanics disruptive and uncertain."
