Hey /x/. I'm looking to get scared shitless tonight. I'd like for us to share a few creeps with one another. I'll post what I can. It's 1am here and I'd like to experience a nice refreshing dose of fear. Here's some music to help you get into the mood: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKQJoMHU4Vg&feature=kp
The true terror starts at 0:50
Know the guys that recorded this and they were really bothered by it and I just don't believe they would fake it, but who knows? If you guys can identify the line or connect it to something else, you win 5 internets.
I think it says "It all begins in springtime"
that's exactly what I think
I think it has some sort of data that can match up audio files just like automated phone calls and shit and they are using recorded radio station files, you can ever hear music in some of them
surprised I haven't seen one of these in /x/
The Family (aka Children of God) made some rad videos in the 80s
this is my fave by far, dat "dead inside" look on the dancers eyes is quite disturbing
Bretty good thread so far /x/. I've compiled a youtube playlist of everything posted thus far, just in case anyone once to take the trip tonight / drop acid and get spooped in the future. Here's the link:
Will be lurking intermittently and adding new videos as they are posted, keep the good shit comin
The video in the archived thread was a timestamp in another video, the video in this thread was a different upload of just the song. They're two different videos.
>the magic and the mystery of potato knishes
How can you know what it is before you havent listened it?
There are a couple vids I haven't seen in forever, but they were like old 1920' cartoons. There was a big guy in a cowboy hat and some other guy who kind of looked like Oogy Boogy, and it's implied that they basically kidnap and rape a couple other characters. They were maybe a couple minutes each, really short. For some reason I think the word "star" was part of the title. Any ideas /x/?
That video's been debunked. It was uploaded before as just "brick through windshield" and the audio was just a russian guy complaining because a brick went through his windshield. Somebody then uploaded the exact same video with audio implying somebody died.
> no sound for the first minute
> "maybe it'll be okay, maybe someone edited it--"
> sound comes in after a minute
> NOPE NOPE NOPE
I can't even begin to imagine how that brick damaged his wife and how much pain she must've felt physically, and how much pain he must've felt emotionally. My condolences to the guy.
I can believe this.
The (supposedly) edited video was pretty scary but it also feels like whoever (supposedly) edited it went overboard. You have what sounds like at least two or three other passengers freaking out AND a baby crying... it's just too chaotic. Too perfect a horror to be true.
>Several news articles giving same info on 29 year old woman who died with a picture of the car from the outside
>NOTHING documenting a "fake" before video
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, guys. It's real.
> that scream from the officer
I hate the sound one makes when you know they're truly afraid to die.
> first scream is due to a bullet in the eye
> the next is followed by being pummelled by bullets in the head
perfect, i was hoping to find a thread like this. can anyone help me find a video (not sure if it's on youtube), it's a ten-minute independent film with a high-pitched british or australian voice over, of some weird sea creature that grants a beautiful girl wishes. when she discovers him, she freaks out and stomps on him, and he retaliates by cursing her, while mumbling about how you can't get milk from a jersey cow by hitting it.
Shit, I forgot all about those. Have a bit of a spoopy story:
>New kids move into town
>Chill as fuck, half white and mexican
>Suddenly talk about extended family
>Huge family, has 5 bros and 4 sisters
>Same for his uncle
Start digging deeper
Shit, thought I typed more than that. Anyway
>Talk about his uncle
>Mine's a university prof in Tokyo
>His lived in China
Dig deeper, suddenly sends me this
>Do some digging
>Find out this is the video production company branch of the Family of God
>Remember seeing a documentary on 20/20 on them
>All sorts of pedofiles, incest, and fucked up shit
>Dawns on me this uncle's probably a pedo escaping custody in China
Pic related; remember how he cracked down on Letterman? Must have gone through all that fucked up shit when his family were members.
it was used as the music video for kenna's "hellbent" and played on a 2 hour animated music video block on cartoon network in the early 2000s with the release of daft punk's inter-stella 5555.
the song in question: http://youtu.be/lgAbRgCSaXE
to contribute further:
i'd say it speaks to the fears and stigmas that are in the mind of >>14861767
i'd say it speaks to the fears and stigmas that the uninitiated feel about sex and sexual relationships. imagine what it would feel like to be someone not ready or afraid to have intimate relations and the feeling of the world crashing down when that has been thrust upon you.
Alan Resnick is actually an artist and comedian. Check out his vid 'Save it to your desktop', funny as fuck. Also, that Live forever as you are Now' thing frieked me out because it reminded me of how in the Bible, on the topic of the beast of revelation, I have this theory on trans humanism and the image of the beast.
I don't understand what you're getting at? I said it's terrible, and it sucks that he happened to be a rookie. The vet was a nutcase and videos like this are really unsettling to me.
I read a theory in the comments that the blue chair that always pops up is a metaphor for his dead parents. Really interesting
HEY TUTORIAL HEADS
Agreed, searching "Olga Gaikovich" on google just nets a bunch of gore and spooks pages as results. You'd have to check Russian media to even begin to make a convincing case for it.
This is what faces looked like when I tried acid. Every little movement was greatly exaggerated and they were morphing like crazy. Got super panicky trying to buy a drink in my local supermarket because everything was melting and the ladies face was really demonic and trippy.
I FINALLY found the videos to the whole 12-42 incident that happened about a year ago. Check this out
Also, mrcontactcare seems to be no more.
those threads remain, to this day, the most fun I've ever had on /x/ or even 4chan in general
Well, this is it. The one video I regret watching. I've seen it all. But this -- I don't think I'll ever forget this.
fucking lost my shit at work, fuck you
For anybody who was wondering, the video was a rather large brony singing while doing some star wars kids moves. Disturbing, maybe, but not spoopy.
>that song fucked me up when I was younger
didn't know the Phoenixs where part of the cult, the only "celebrity" I was aware was part of it was the singer from a gay hipster band, cant remember the name
they have shitloads of disturbing videos, there was one in particular where there was a bunch of naked people on a giant bed saying "I love you" to the camera. the disturbing part is that among them where some 12yr olds and some 70yr olds
pretty fucked up
I fucking love R33MIX. I still wonder how he managed to get Source Filmmaker before it came out though.
I'm waiting for coulrophobia to stop being a thing.
Only faggots fear clowns.
>29 year old girl
>grown man shouting "mom no mom"
>"no its real bros"
who remembers this nasty jazz?
DURR I'MAFRAID OF CLOWNS ROFL ECKS DEE *HOLDS UP SPORK*
Clowns are not in any way scary. Stephen King's It isn't scary. Anything can be scary when you paint it in a dark light.
Stop being afraid of clowns. It's fucking stupid.
I'd like Lynch stuff a lot more if he didn't go so far out of his way to make everything so "2deep4u" and shit. I feel like he could out-horror ANY other director if he could stop himself from turning everything he works on into an abstract mess by the end.
>I still wonder how he managed to get Source Filmmaker before it came out though.
It was in closed beta for a LONG time before Valve put it out for public testing. I got it around a week before it went public, but the testing forums had a few dozen members who had been using it for a little over a year.
The scariest part is this is actually real. All the footage, all the speculation, everything. If I remember correctly, it's some kind of fungus - which frankly, doesn't surprise me. Fungus is the closest thing we have to an eldritch horror in real life, it has all kinds of devious and atavistic ways of spreading and taking root. The *largest organism in the world* is a fungus, which occupies approximately 1,700 football fields worth of subterranean space in Oregon.
>1960s analog synths
WAIT DISREGARD THIS I SUCK COCKS, it's *not* a fungus. People thought it was a mold for a while, but the truth is much, MUCH worse. They're annelid worms, tiny versions of pic related, who have escaped into the sewer system and proliferated. In the absence of soil the worms have coiled around one another, such that from a distance they look like a massive, throbbing, contracting blob of wall-covering flesh.
NOPE, NOPE, FUCKING NOPE
Tonetta - Pressure Zone
>that fucking feel when this thread went into autosage
Just got done updating the playlist, it's been fun folks. We now have over 100 videos of spoopy goodness.
New thread is at >>14872840 I guess.
I was like 10 and I watched one of those videos where you're supposed to focus on something, then not see something major, it was one where you had to count how many times a basketball was throw by someone in a white shirt or something and a guy in a gorilla suit walks past. So I was immersed counting like a champ and totally didn't notice the gorilla. After the video there was some text that was like if you counted 11 you're correct. Next slide, "But did you notice the gorilla?" and then went on to point out this gorilla suit guy. And the moment I read that I was fuckin floored I was immensely freaked out it was just like a wave of fear for some reason, that fucked me right up.
I think I might know why though like imagine looking somewhere, focusing on a point, then suddenly realizing that something you haven't noticed has been staring at you the entire time. Is that not the worst thing? that's always been something I hated the idea of. I remember it happening once where my friend told me to look up at a tree because something was in it, and I was looking up at tree trying to see what he was talking about. He's right in front of me, it's dark, so I don't have a clear view of him but I just assume subconsciously he's looking up at the tree too. He says something else, and I snap to the realization that he, sitting right in front of me, has been staring at me this whole time, and I have the biggest fucking jump and it was terrifying. Anyone else?
What the actual fuck is this
i remember that one,its like im having LSD trip tho.R33MIX was the best place to having drugs.
>No Nggyu vids
I am so done with this pansy ass faggot board. Enjoy your gay creepypastas while true fear, true horror, slips right through the cracks of your unenlightened brains.
Is this the video you're talking about?
